n the heart of the Loire Valley, along the Thouet River: a 700 square foot converted barn (newly renovated) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

Attractive 175 m² family house with 1 floor in the village of Le Puy Notre Dame On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen overlooking the living room, a cosy lounge, a games and relaxation area, a toilet and a laundry room. Upstairs, accessed by 2 staircases, there is a toilet, a shower room, a bathroom, 3 bedrooms with 160 cm beds and 2 bedrooms with 140 cm beds. Outside, there is 1 terrace with a large table, chairs and a barbecue, and at the back of the house, there is 1 small garden with a deckchair, garden furniture and games for children.

Excellent place to explore the vineyards and Chateaux of the Loire. Good golf courses — 10% for couples

Charming and spacious 2 bedroom cottage with pool.

Located in the Anjou wine region, this rustic 100m2 cottage equipped with all modern amenities is part of an old winegrowers property called 'Closerie Les Roches' that includes two other cottages. We are close to charming villages and towns such as Montreuil-Bellay and Saumur. Visit local wineries, explore famous Loire valley castles, visit the award-winning Doué-la-Fontaine zoo or just stroll among the vines right outside the property. We also offer dinner for our guests twice a week.

Le Ruault: Poplar House (Loire Valley)

Le Ruault is close to the chateaux of the Loire valley and plenty of excellent vineyards. A tranquil space in which to relax and breathe, great for couples, families and big groups (when rented with Orchard Cottage). Poplar House sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms (1 double bedroom; the other three can all be set up as a large double or two singles). There are 7 acres (2.5 hectares) of grounds to relax in, including an outdoor pool (shared with Orchard Cottage and heated mid-May to mid-September).

You'll love my place because of the location and the ambiance. It is an old house made of tuffeau stone located in the heart of a troglodyte courtyard. The gite has a fully equipped kitchen and 2 air-conditioned bedrooms upstairs. It also has an outdoor courtyard with a terrace (barbecue, garden furniture).
