Good location in the centre of town close to everything (including Juno Beach Centre). On the third floor so lots of stair climbing. Apartment is small but cute and the sofa bed is very comfortable.

We had a great stay at this property. It is central to all of the beaches for the Normandy landings. The property was nice and clean felt spacious private area nice and quiet.Port Bessin is only a 10 minute drive with lots of restaurants and is a lovely place to walk around.

Very pleasant stay in a beautiful little village with all amenities within walking distance. Impeccable and well-appointed accommodation, tastefully decorated. Pets allowed: a plus for my cat. Only small downside in tourist season, small difficulties to find a parking space nearby but there is what you need 800 meters away and you can park in the street to load and unload.

Philippe is a great host, who is very responsive and very flexible. The apartment is great, right on the seafront and very easy to access with all necessary things provided!

The sea cottage is very cozy, very pleasant and well equipped The garden and terrace are really a plus we had a great weekend with the girls

Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. If you're looking for a comfortable, immaculately clean, and truly welcoming place to stay, look no further. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Sophie’s place to anyone. We really enjoyed staying at Veronique's place. It was a cozy and a quaint, yet beautiful space with a nice scent/fragrance, and all of the items/amenities that we needed for our two-night stay near Omaha Beach. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with almost anything that you could need, from honey to jams and preserves. Veronique brings fresh croissants and bread to the room each day; the fridge was pre-stocked with orange juice, several varieties of milk, and yoghurt, as well as butters and ham and cheese, and eggs. We managed to not only eat a great breakfast each day but also to have lunch from the supplied bread and ham and butter. This went above and beyond our expectations - and it was a huge plus, because it is a rural area and a drive would be required to get to a bakery or to town. We also really enjoyed the bathrobes, the very comfortable bed, and the lovely linens on the bed. Everything was convenient and comfortable. The water pressure excellent and lots of hot water.

A practical, well-equipped and soberly decorated accommodation, ideally located on the port of Grandcamp, in a perfectly secure residence. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops and the beach...

Pleasant quiet stay. Impeccable and spacious accommodation. The hosts are very available and attentive. The pool area is incredible, sheltered from the wind despite average temperatures. A kind of micro climate operates in this place. i recommend it.

Everything was perfect and perfectly organised by Florence. Thank you for that :-) The communication was completely unproblematic. I would like to point out 2 small things, but they do not lead to a deduction of stars, because I felt incredibly comfortable and would have liked to stay longer. I have not found a place to store the clothes. I also thought it was a shame that I could not park in the parking lot of the residence. I understood that a private parking space was available. Thank you for the welcome gift!! I enjoyed the delicious cider in the evening on the wonderful terrace :-)

We really enjoyed our stay. Sandra and her husband are very nice and accommodating hosts. The services offered like breakfast, pizzas or bike rental are real plus. The house is very well placed to discover the region and especially the landing beaches. We will definitely go back!

We had a wonderful stay in Franks waterfront house. We enjoyed watching the fishing boats go in and out of the lock. Able to easily walk to restaurants and cafes. Wifi was strong. Parking was easy. Beds were comfortable. The perfect ending was spending the last evening soaking up the warm sun on the comfy patio couches. Very relaxing. We did not spend much time in the house or use the kitchen, but it looked very well stocked. Thank you ! Would definitely stay again and recommend.

A great place to stay if: 1. You are visiting the D-Day beaches, especially Utah, Omaha and the American Cemetery, and Gold Beach, and some of the museums. Or if: 2. You are looking for a place that is calm, quiet, tiny community. Alexander’s place is easy access in a sort of out-of-the-way area, not much for services around. There is a Total petrol station to the east, and a bit farther U Express grocery which is fairly large and has a good selection. I recommend this place highly for a stay in Normandy, close to the attractions. Be sure to test the crepes at Aux Délices d’Alice a few km to the west in Vierville-sur-Mer. It is a tiny food wagon next to the highway; I believe there is a walk in restaurant there also.
