Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

Found this unit by searching the typical items for a B&B however, this place was quite different from the listing on the web. Interior was far superior to what the picture shows. I have been renting units for many years and found this to be the nicest one I’ve ever stayed in. The unit exterior is a little older, but the interior makes up for everything. Would recommend this one even to my wife! ! (lol)

We came to visit family but fell in love with the area and hope to visit again. Perfect location with stunning view of the lake and close proximity to many areas to explore and parks. Comfy beds and many small touches such as throw blankets, phone chargers, kcups, ice cube trays and local maple gift. Family enjoyed the hot tub and kayak too. Home very clean. Will definitely rent again when in the area.

Sara and her mom are very easy-going hosts. I traveled with a friend and two dogs, and we all felt very welcomed. There's a small fenced in area on the roadside of the house, and tons of open farmland in the back -- both were great for letting the dogs out. Sara's parents are very quiet neighbors, but it was also nice to know they were nearby if anything came up. A 26-mile rail trail starts out of Richford, which is a five minute drive from the house.

Had a great stay at Alwxandre’s place while in Dunham for a break. Nice house with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Quiet, peaceful location. Alexandre was very responsive and helpful throughout. Nice, friendly neighborhood. A few things that could be improved are: 1) The bed in the master bedroom is shaky and squeaks a lot, disturbing sleep 2) No trash can in the powder room 3) Laundry dryer not working too well 4) Could help with more frequent cleaning for longer stays. Besides this, the stay was great and Alexandre is a great host!

We loved the place; it was even more beautiful than in the photos. The tranquillity of the place charmed us. It was pleasant (and different) to spend time in the front of the house on the swing or on the covered balcony. Philippe is an attentive and very responsive host. All of his instructions were very clear. We'll be happy to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s house very much. There were 6 of us; my family and my brother’s. The house was very cozy with an open kitchen and living room space with high ceilings. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and many things we didn’t expect like breakfast foods, coffee, etc. The two bathrooms were both spotless and had lots of nice soft towels. The outdoor furniture was very nice and new and the property is private and nicely maintained. A few of us also enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake directly across the street. We were attending a family reunion at a house on the same street so the location was extremely convenient. We liked this house so much we would like to book again for our future reunions.

Pierre-Michel has a lovely home. It was just what we needed for our family stay. Close enough to visit Montréal and then come relax outside of the city. The pool was a delight.

Nicholas’s place was great, about 15 minutes from Jay. The house was very clean and everything was well explained. We had a great time and would love to come back!

My partner and I were looking for a little getaway spot to relax and Gordon and Louis’ place was above and beyond what we were looking for. The large fully fenced backyard is even more beautiful than in the pictures and my dog thoroughly enjoyed it. The airbnb itself was like a hotel - it had everything we needed and more. We initially planned to explore Montreal during this trip but we ended up spending more time in Point Claire and it was really lovely! Louis and Gordon are top tier hosts and I would highly recommend this airbnb.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

We definitely had a great experience. The place is exactly like the photos, super clean and organized. Qasem was super sweet and easy to communicate with. I will be back coming back as soon as possible.

The home was cozy, private, and beautiful. A perfect getaway with more than everything you need to feel comfortable and at home. The spot was incredibly equipped for cooking and enjoying nights in and in a great spot to explore both the city and mountains. Definitely worth while and a trip I’d love to take again.

Very clean and very nice apartment, peaceful place. Shops (Metro, Dollarama, Tim Hortons, etc.) 10 minutes' drive.

We had a great stay at Michel's place. I heartily recommend walking across the bridge and enjoying the Yamaska Cafe.

I really enjoyed my stay! The room was cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was luxurious! I also enjoyed paddling on the river. I would stay here again!

Nice little camp and very close to boat launch!!

The cabin was absolutely perfect for us. The dogs were able to be unleashed… of course they were under voice control, but they were happy. And so were we. Definitely relaxing, clean, and quiet. Nice place! Views were extraordinary!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Owl's Head Cabin for a long weekend skiing at Jay. The cabin is small and cozy, very warm, and the right size for two people for a weekend. In addition to the main bed, there's a loft with a sleeping area, but you'd have to be very small to get into it and enjoy it; I'd guess the cabin would be a bit small for a couple with children but maybe if you're out all day it'd be okay. Cooking appliances worked well. The one note of caution is that you have to drive on a somewhat rough, uphill dirt road for at least 3 or 4 miles to reach the cabin. We fortunately did not have to drive during a time when there was actively snow falling on the road, but the 2wd sedan we rented definitely would not have made it in those conditions; it was a little harrowing even with just the slush and ruts left after plowing. So be careful if your trip coincides with nastier weather! Jason was very communicative and left clear instructions. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Shed. It was comfortable and had everything we needed, with beautiful views and nearby towns for good food. Gros merci, Patricia!

We had a visual. visit in the area and Shane's place was just what we needed to recharge and relax . The cabin is well equipped and cozy. Comfy beds too!

The Sunset Cabin was even more beautiful than the pictures could convey. The couches, chairs, and beds were extremely comfortable. There was a LOT of space that we could wander and explore and wish we had more time to check out his trails. We loved getting to stargaze on one of the clear nights. Greg was very responsive when we asked for a bike, had it to us the next morning, and even offered to bring it over immediately. The location was perfect for us to be able to explore the area and close enough that we went over to Vermont to explore, too. Highly recommend this beautiful cabin!

Lee's cabin provided a great escape from the busyness of life. The surroundings were beautiful and the waterfall was impressive! We enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood, exploring the rivers, covered bridges, and cute houses with barn quilts. In town, we enjoyed getting coffee and pastries at Cafe Oma (inside the bikeshop!) and had some amazing nachos at the Snowshoe Lodge and Pub. Stowe is a beautiful easy drive from the cabin and has lots to explore! Lunch at the Von Trappe family lodge was a highlight. The cabin itself feels private even though it shares a yard with Lee. It was cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen was convenient when we wanted to stay in. The outdoor fireplace was the perfect way to spend our last evening there. Through it all, Lee was very helpful and responsive -- and we had the sense that Lee could (and would) provide whatever was needed to ensure an enjoyable stay. This is a perfect place if you just need to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of VT!

So peaceful being tucked away in the woods, yet so close to town! Lovely!
