Between the farmlands with cows is our old farm. A gîte has been built in the barn. Simple, but with all the comforts, in complete privacy. With spacious garden. Heated by a wood-burning stove and electric heaters. The area is beautiful. Located 2.5 km from the village, where all the much-needed businesses can be found. 8 km drive and you are at the Sioule, where it is good to spend time along the river and where you will also find thermal baths. 40 km further south are the volcanoes, beautiful area!

In Châteauneuf-Les-Bains on the banks of the Sioule, one of the cleanest rivers in France, is our Gite de Grands Rochers. Nature plays the leading role in this unforgettable accommodation. Here is peace and space with a beautiful view over the river. The cottage is 32 m2, spread over two floors. Downstairs, the kitchen with dining area and a seating area with comfortable chairs and TV, French doors to a lovely terrace with stone BBQ. Upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom with toilet.

Everything is provided: sheets, towels, eco-friendly cleaning and toiletries... Basic organic groceries. Kitchen + living room on the ground floor, 2 bedrooms (140 cm beds) and bathroom upstairs. Well equipped for maximum comfort. In summer, the small shed equipped with a sofa bed can accommodate 1-2 children or teens. They'll love it!

La Petite Maison du Sabotier in Menat

La Petite Maison du Sabotier has been furnished to accommodate family and friends who are visiting. It is now open in summer to travellers who want to spend some quiet time in a setting that some describe as "heavenly". The accommodation is equipped with a sink with hot water and a toilet, coffee maker, kettle and microwave. Access to the shower by going to the owners' house (about 20 metres away). From May 2026, it will be possible to cook outside (covered terrace).

Typical Auvergne bread oven with breakfast

You will be staying at the "Clos des Murets", a former independent bread oven completely renovated in 2020, part of a 2500 m2 property. It includes a main room serving as a living room equipped with a sofa bed (140 cm bed) and a second bedroom (160 cm bed), a travertine bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower and a toilet. A spiral staircase will take you to the large bedroom with exposed stone. Breakfasts can be taken on the terrace.
