Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

Un séjour génial dans le gîte d’Angélique - le spa et la piscine sont un vrai + ! Le cadre est magnifique et reposant, nous reviendrons rapidement, c’est sûr ! Encore merci 😘

Stephane and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They gave us great local recommendations, organised a personal winery tour for us and booked in a massage. The location is beautiful, peaceful setting and the pool was fantastic. We booked to have breakfast one morning - it was stunning. Beautiful presentation and lovely food. We highly recommend staying here - truley relaxing.

Super séjour ! Les hôtes sont très sympas et accueillants. Le logement est propre, confortable et bien équipé, exactement comme décrit. Très bien situé, avec plusieurs villes sympas à proximité pour les visites.

Wij hadden een zeer aangenaam verblijf bij Dominique. De omgeving is prachtig, rustig en charmant. De gîte heeft een authentieke stijl, was zeer goed onderhouden en erg goed voorzien. Ons dochtertje (1,5 jaar) was een grote fan van de geitjes en schaapjes op het domein. Supermarkten, stadjes, marktjes, wandelingen,… alles is zeer dichtbij. Absoluut een aanrader!

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

le gîte est conforme a la description. le gite est très spacieux avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. environnement calme et reposant. les instructions de David sont très claires. je conseille fortement.

Wir waren absolut begeistert, wie unser Gastgeber Paul einen alten Stall in ruhiger Lage auf einem riesigen Grundstück renoviert hat. Alte Bausubstanz und moderne Haustechnik (Wärmepumpen, Fußbodenheizung, Wallbox etc.) wurden perfekt miteinander kombiniert. An jeder Stelle im Haus war immer genügend Platz. Die großzügig geschnittenen Zimmer mit antiken Möbeln mit jeweils eigenem Bad haben unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen. Dank Fußbodenheizung waren die Zimmer immer perfekt klimatisiert und Warmwasser für die Dusche war jederzeit vorhanden. Die große Küche und ihre Einrichtung ließen keinerlei Wünsche offen. Positiv zu erwähnen sind der Hauswirtschaftsraum mit zweitem Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Pool und Jacuzzi haben wir oft genossen. Der Pool war auch im Oktober immer sehr gut temperiert. Paul war jederzeit ansprechbar. Probleme gab es nicht. Ein verstopfter Filter im Jacuzzi wurde in kürzester Zeit instandgesetzt. Es hat uns so gut gefallen. wir wollen wiederkommen

Acceuil sympathique, maison qui correspond a la description, hote accueillant, extérieur propre et agréable et calme. Je recommande ce logement

Très belle maison au calme avec deux grandes chambres. Il manquait quelques produits de base dans la cuisine (huile, sel, sucre ...). A noter que ce logement se situe dans un environnement agricole (maraicher), possibilité de présence de tracteurs.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la maison des Tilleuls. Cécile est très accueillante et nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis bien chez elle. La maison est agréable avec un grand séjour, appréciable car nous étions 3 couples. Le jardin est immense et très joli. C’est un vrai havre de paix. Il est cloturé ce qui est appréciable avec des chiens. Plusieurs endroits avec tables et salon de jardin. Panier gourmand à notre arrivée. Merci à Cécile pour sa gentillesse. Nous recommandons ce logement

très jolie maison, cadre très agréable, si vous aimez la nature, il n'y a pas mieux!! très bon accueil. endroit parfais, pour un moment de détente, de calme.

Charmant gîte dans un écrin de verdure bucolique. Agréable promenade après dîner le soir, au départ du gîte, au lac de Lourbet, marché du vendredi matin à Sainte-Livrade-Sur-Lot, et des Terra Aventura (circuits avec caches) très sympa à Saint Pastour et également Gontaud-de-Nogaret. Sur place, le terrain de pétanque ainsi que la piscine sont un vrai plus. Ce gîte est idéal pour une cousinade de 11 personnes.

Une parenthèse enchantée à la cabane au bord de l'étang ! Nous avons passé de superbes moments proches de la nature. Un accueil chaleureux de la part de Sara, avec un pain au levain excellent. L'accès est simple et rapide à ce cocon de verdure. La cabane est douce et pleine de charme. Nous avons pu l'apprécier sous le soleil, mais aussi se blottir dedans pendant une soirée orageuse, c'était formidable et si cosy, la cabane est très bien isolée ; mais au besoin, le poêle était déjà prêt pour chauffer cet endroit douillet (nous n'en avons pas eu besoin.). Nous nous y sommes sentis chez nous. Il y a de nombreux coins et recoins pour profiter de ce havre de paix, observer la nature et adopter un mode de vie tout en tranquillité. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu et sa charmante hôtesse. Merci d'avoir créé cet endroit.

Nous avons passé deux belles soirées au cœur de la propriété de « Gigi » et Yannick. Encore une très belle rencontre dans ce petit coin du Périgord que nous ne connaissions pas. Le gîte est parfait, bien équipé, literie très confortable. Et le cadre, au milieu des vignes gérées par Quentin aujourd’hui, est de toute beauté et tellement paisible. C’est sure nous reviendrons pour un plus long séjour. Evidemment nous avons pu profiter de la piscine, d’une dégustation de très bons vins et des bons conseils de visites de Yannick. Séjour au top merci à nos supers hôtes !

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

Easy to find quiet location, in area with some of the most beautiful villages in France with Markets on every day in the surrounding area as well as superb Michelin restaurants using incredible local produce . Comfortable open plan property, modern facilities in traditional cottage, easy to operate and cosy wood pellet heater. Property less suited if very tall ( I’m 6’4”) due to beautiful but low beams. Parking is right next to property. Host very responsive on any request.

This is the second time we have stayed at Loustalet. Need I say more? Extremely comfortable home, everything we needed for a family holiday. Nightingales sang in the woods, buzzards and kites soared above us and we were visited by hares and deer in the garden. The house is well situated for what we needed in Castillion la Bataille and close enough to enjoy Saint Emilion and Libourne. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful yet respected our privacy and we are surely to return again.

Béatrice et Christophe sont des hôtes extrêmement gentils , accueillants et dynamiques , qui ont le sens du partage . Nous avons pu profiter de tous leurs conseils sur la région , les restaurants , le domaine viticole . Le logement est parfait , il correspond en tous points à la description . N’hésitez pas si vous recherchez un havre de paix à 10 min de St Emilion . À recommander +++

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

Nous avons passé un très bon sejour chez Marie et Thomas. Le logement est très bien équipé, parfait pour que les enfants puissent s’amuser. La présence du potager, des poules, de l’ensemble des équipements exterieurs rendent le séjour très agréable pour les petits comme pour les grands. La piscine naturelle est une belle découverte. Marie et Thomas sont des hôtes très réactifs ce qui est agréable. Nous les remercions pour notre séjour.

We had a fantastic stay at Rigal - Jackie and Chris were the perfect hosts. We were 2 couples and 2 toddlers and both us and the boys had a fantastic time on the farm - and when the weather was misbehaving on the first couple of days, the place had loads of toys to entertain the kids. Rigal is a very beautiful place and is extremely peaceful - the only noisy neighbours are the animals on the farm! It’s an easy drive from Bergerac airport and very easy to find; it’s also out the way enough to feel secluded without being inaccessible. We’ll definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family.
