Tudor Farmhouse Cottage

WilsonRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Cathy and Andrew were very friendly and helpful. A beautiful setting and we picked a perfect weekend to visit. Cosy cottage linked to their house and a lovely large garden to sit in. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Have to admit the stairs are challenging if you have any mobility issues but Andrew makes it clear when you book. Very clear and responsive communications via e mail and in person. A pleasant stay, thank you.

Kingfisher's Retreat

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an incredibly peaceful and relaxing stay at Kingfisher Retreat on Mill Farm. The safari-style tent was beautifully designed and tucked away in a secluded spot, offering complete privacy away from the main campsite. It was immaculately clean when we arrived and fully equipped for a comfortable stay - though a toaster would have been a nice little addition. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic, with underfloor heating that made it warm and cozy morning and night. Although we spent most days exploring the Norfolk area, we could have easily spent all our time at the retreat, soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquility. Communication before our visit was smooth, and we received a warm welcome from Lillie. The fresh bread, milk, and eggs were thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Overall, it was a truly peaceful and private escape - perfect for switching off and reconnecting with nature. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Timber-framed cottage near coast

TraceyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely cottage, with everything you need and more, so much attention to detail with lots of little special touches. Great location, country walks literally outside the front door. 10 min walk to Halesworth high street, full of lots of independent shops/ eateries. Very friendly people. Easy access to public transport to go to beaches/ towns around the area if you don't fancy driving. Also comfy to just chill out and relax from every day hustle and bustle. You do need to take care on the stairs as they are very small and tight. Thank you Helen for letting us stay at your wonderful cottage.

Ilketshall St. Margaret self-catering holiday home

MartinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our week in this well appointed and tastefully designed bungalow property. We had everything we needed and felt very much at home. The property is situated in a peaceful and quiet location, with a lovely sheltered private garden. It is an ideal base from which to explore Suffolk and nearby Norfolk. We would particularly recommend the coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh. The latter also features the 'Red House', the former home of the renowned Benjamin Britten, founder of the annual Aldeburgh Festival, and his partner Peter Pears and now a visitor attraction. Antony and Sophie are charming, friendly, thoughtful and approachable hosts who live just next door. They gave us a warm welcome on arrival, including fruit, treats and a bottle of wine which was most appreciated. We hope to stay again sometime if possible.

DonnaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A beautiful, peaceful cottage, ideally situated for visiting the local area. The property has everything you would want or need, and is a definitely a home from home. Phil is the perfect host - from meeting and greeting us on arrival, the amazing home-made scones and bottle of wine, to local restaurant recommendations, and her friendly, and responsive manner. Would not hesitate to recommend this property, and will be booking again, very soon! Thank you Phil :)
