House holiday rentals in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie

We were a group of 6 and had a fantastic time in Rachel's house in Thédirac. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to prepare meals, there were lots of lovely outdoor places to sit and eat, the garden was beautiful and well maintained (and a great source of herbs for cooking), and it was a real treat to walk to the bakery each morning for fresh bread and croissants. It was about 30-60 mins drive from the main attractions, which was fine for half-day or day trips. Couldn't have asked for more.

Our family of five spent an amazing four days at this beautiful property in the tiny village of Lentillac Saint Blaise in the Lot region. Jean Charles and Annick are such gracious hosts - we received a warm welcome the first evening, where Jean Charles invited us to help ourselves to everything in his vegetable garden and the kids loved gathering fresh strawberries. raspberries, gooseberries and lettuce. On our last morning we had a wonderful conversation about local authors and the history of the region. Every corner of their house and garden shows fine attention to detail and beautiful aesthetic sense. Jean Charles built much of the gorgeous furniture himself in his metal workshop. The pool is just perfect and beautifully maintained for daily swims after sightseeing in the many magnificent villages and sites around the region. Everything was so peaceful and comfortable. The linens and toiletries are top quality. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for a restful stay!

Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. Our stay at the Old Stable was everything we had hoped for. Nic and Julia were wonderful hosts — thoughtful, attentive, and always available if needed. The property itself is stunning; the studio is beautifully designed and stays pleasantly cool even on the hottest days. We loved enjoying our morning coffee outside, taking in the view and the peaceful sounds of nature all around. Although the house feels wonderfully secluded in the middle of nature, all conveniences like supermarkets and restaurants are just a five-minute drive away. We spent two weeks there, fully unwinding, slowing down, and happily getting back to the essentials. See you soon !!

Thank you to Nathalie and her husband for their very peaceful accommodation with a view of nature that you can't get enough of. Lots of different bird species. In the evening you can hear the deer. The accommodation is decorated with great taste and care, including lovingly collected objects. You feel really good in this very cozy accommodation that also keeps you cool in case of high heat. the accommodation is close to many tourist sites such as Saint Cirq Lapopie. I also recommend the very friendly market in the medieval city of Gourdon on Saturday morning. Thanks again to Nathalie and her husband for their hospitality and their lovely home.

Great welcome by the hosts who live next door and are available if needed, very good communication, the house is very nice with a large comfortable living room for 8 and a well-equipped kitchen. 2 large quiet terraces with enough chairs and deckchairs for everyone, we were able to eat outside and test the plancha. You can park easily next door, Cajarc is the perfect village to visit the region: bars, restaurants, shops ( an excellent butcher), a new super nice bookstore... Big love for the house, its hosts and the village Very good value for money: it was perfect.

We had a great week in Cabrerets. Sunny and hot weather. The house stays incredibly cool and the terrace is nice. The house is very well equipped and very quiet. But the main highlight is its location. Cabrerets is a very beautiful village, with great restaurants and shops, superb walking trails and the cherry on the cake the Célé! On the activity side, we did canoeing thanks to kalapca 3 km from the cottage which offers plenty of other activities, we visited the cave of pech Merle, the sublime village of Saint Cirq Lapopie etc... in short a great week. An excellent experience in this accommodation, even more beautifully decorated than in the photos. Everything was perfect: the amenities are well above what most Airbnbs offer, especially in the kitchen. The hosts are extremely friendly and will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. We loved our month in Jamblusse, beautiful little village with a big church bell. The home has everything you need - multiple spaces to hang out, cook, dine, draw, play games etc. Our 2 year old son was in absolute heaven. Beautiful natural pool and lovely wood burner for cooler evenings. We’d highly recommend it for a break away.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

My partner, our dog, and I spent a wonderful four weeks at the charming cottage in Anglars, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Florian had already lit the fireplace, which made for such a warm and welcoming arrival—and it was just the first of many thoughtful touches that made the place special. We were lucky to stay during May, when the cherry trees slowly turned red and ripe. The house itself has everything you need, and when we realized we were missing something—a moka pot for our morning coffee for example —Florian immediately made sure we had one. His kindness and attentiveness really stood out, as did his great tips for local things to do. One thing I truly appreciated was the care put into sustainability: organic cleaning products, locally sourced items throughout the house—these are details you rarely see, and they reflect a host who genuinely cares. We’re already looking forward to our next workation here.
