Saint Caradec is a typical town in the region known to be at the crossroads of the roads of central Brittany. Saint Caradec is located about ten minutes from Loudéac and Lake Guerlédan and about twenty minutes from Pontivy.

It is also close to the typical and historic port of Dahouët.
