Family-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Astier

Our stay at Mike's was very nice. A very peaceful, warm and refreshing place! The host, Mike is exceptionally kind, attentive, discreet and available quickly. I give a 10/10 to the stay.

Happy and warm week. Very bright accommodation with floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere. Nothing is missing to live your vacation well, everything is clean. It is missing a microwave and a kettle; eco-friendly fireplace is required. The photos were well taken as the trees have since grown on the panoramic view. Hot tub very welcome. Safety improvements offered especially for children: missing railings throughout the basement including behind ping pong, sliding door of the 1-seater bedroom, ... Beautiful area with many remarkable activities and sights.

Very beautiful house, true to description, quiet and very furnished. Very nice welcome from Paul, who is very attentive. We recommend it.

We had a very good stay at La Florelie. The setting is really beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Total relaxation. Thanks to Simon for his welcome as well as Beau and Belle ;) I recommend it and we will come back without hesitation.

Booked for the accommodation of my friends as part of a friendly gathering in Le Buisson, they were very satisfied with their nights. Unfortunately, it wasn't the season yet to be able to enjoy the entire outdoor setting and the pool.

We had a wonderful stay at Geert and Marga's beautiful home. The house and its surroundings are stunning, and we couldn't have asked for more in terms of amenities. The house has plenty of absolutely everything you could possibly need and we felt right at home straight away. Geert and Marga's place is perfectly located in the region, and we very easily visited many of the beautiful surrounding towns and villages. We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again sometime. We would recommend Geert and Marga's home to anyone looking for a well equipped, beautiful and peaceful vacation. Armand and Stéphanie were fabulous, friendly and considerate hosts. The location is great and peaceful, a magnificent restoration work has been done. A plus for the beautiful jacuzzi that we couldn't use for weather reasons, but it's only a matter of time. You can go there with your eyes closed (not too much because you have to look at the road), you will not be disappointed.

We had a great stay at the Tilleuls house. Cécile is very welcoming and we immediately felt at home. The house is nice with a large living room, which was nice because we were 3 couples. The garden is huge and very pretty. It's a haven of peace. It is fenced, which is great for dogs. Several places with tables and garden furniture. Gourmet basket on arrival. Thanks to Cécile for her kindness. We recommend this listing

A haven of peace and tranquility in this world of brutes... in the middle of nature, hiking in the forest, nearby several departures of trails on all sides. Authentic period accommodation wood stove available we made a fire every night awesome!! Very nice owners, Napoleon museum right next door to visit on foot when leaving the rental. Very good rejuvenating stay, we only saw greenery throughout the week, soothing, it breaks the rhythm of our nearby cities. To be repeated.

Shelley’s beautifully situated and peaceful studio was the perfect place for us to base ourselves while we did our own house hunting in the area. The pool is pristine and wonderful; perfect in the hot hours, with a soul-nurturing view. Shelley is the friendliest and most obliging host. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we will be back.

We've just stayed at Anne's place for a week and had the most wonderful holiday. It had everything we could have wished for and more. Perfect for our 3 year old with so much to do for him and the pool was secured with a fence. There are so many games and spaces to explore. Location was superb and we are already looking forward to returning. Thank you Anne for giving us the best week!

The location of the listing in the area is perfect. But even better if the desire is for solitude and quiet in a garden. Everything is possible in the chicken coop! And Agnes and her family are both very welcoming and very discreet. Loved it

A very nice little house, with very nice spaces and beautiful rooms. Perfect location for a long weekend in the Dordogne, 30 minutes from several beautiful sites: caves, castles, canoeing on the Dordogne or on the Vezege. Troglodytic village. Downtown near Sylvie is available and friendly. I recommend it for a small family. 😉

We had a fantastic stay at Rigal - Jackie and Chris were the perfect hosts. We were 2 couples and 2 toddlers and both us and the boys had a fantastic time on the farm - and when the weather was misbehaving on the first couple of days, the place had loads of toys to entertain the kids. Rigal is a very beautiful place and is extremely peaceful - the only noisy neighbours are the animals on the farm! It’s an easy drive from Bergerac airport and very easy to find; it’s also out the way enough to feel secluded without being inaccessible. We’ll definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family.

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

The house was wonderfully spacious, the view beautiful. We could walk into the vineyards and orchard from the garden with our dog for a beautiful walk. When it rained, we could sit in the spacious sitting room. The swimming pool was also well worthwhile. We even got a bike to borrow from Alex, Lucien's son.

This is a lovely place with great surroundings and very helpful hosts.

The location was peaceful and calm, and the house was well maintained and spacious. The garden was well kept. It was a great place to spend a week.

An absolutely wonderful stay at L’Atelier. Perfect accommodation with everything one would need for a relaxing and restorative holiday. Swimming pool and air con were the icing on the cake! Lovely products and excellent cooking facilities, even a barbecue! Nicki and David were extremely helpful hosts offering suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to enjoy. This accommodation is situated in a quieter area of the Dordogne near the Dronne. Feel totally relaxed now and ready for the mania of the SE of U.K. - well almost ready 😂😂

Fabulous stay at Le Petit Source. Wonderful house, grounds and pool. The pool in particular was amazing - warm, beautifully done, perfectly situated and huge for a private pool. The house was extremely well equipped with many little extras you wouldn't expect. Jane and Paul were fantastic hosts. Highly recommend.
