Gîte de l'Abbaye d'Etrun and its green park

The cottage is the oldest house in the village, it guarded the entrance to the Abbey of the Benedictines of Etrun. The Abbey was founded in 980 and destroyed during the revolution in 1789. The whole has been listed as a Historic Monument. In 1815 Cardinal De La TOUR d'AUVERGNE decided to build his "Summer Residence" of which the surrounding walls still exist, as well as some period elements. In 1915, General Pétain made it his headquarters and commanded the Battle of Artois from these places.

The air-conditioned apartment, classified 4 stars furnished tourist , is located on the 2nd floor of a 1920s mansion within a wooded park of 7000m2. The accommodation includes a bedroom of 25m2 , one of 12m2, a living room of 25m2 , a kitchen of 15m2 as well as a bathroom of 12m2. Access to the park and the private heated swimming pool is possible, as well as to the outdoor facilities (games, kitchen, BBQ, pétanque, deck chairs, etc.) Bike rides are possible (see other information )

Passing through the area for a weekend or a business trip, put your bags down at the corner of the Bonnettes. This house close to the city center is composed of an equipped kitchen, bathroom, toilet, living room, dining room, 2 large bedrooms upstairs, a nice terrace and a green garden. You will find hiking trails within walking distance (Bonnettes, promenade de long de la Scarpe...) The train station is a few minutes' walk away and Arras is 20 minutes' drive away.

The accommodation has been renovated and includes 1 master suite with a double bed, a kitchen and a living room with a very practical and comfortable sofa bed.
