Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saginaw

Lois’ place was beautiful, all of us wanted to stay longer! The house was clean and tidy and the surroundings peaceful. For only being five minutes from Frankenmuth it felt like we were somewhere much more isolated (in a good way). You won’t regret booking this place whether you’re visiting Frankenmuth, Birch Run, or just want a peaceful place to unwind.

We stayed here for a relaxed bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! The location was perfect to walk downtown, and the space was perfect to play card games and hang out with. The beds had plenty of warm cozy blankets, and there were more than enough towels!

First off, this place was super great! Clean, fully stocked with almost everything you could want! We didn’t get to utilize the outdoor amenities much just due to being off-season and we had a short stay with many offsite plans, but we did check them out and are sold to visit again one day when we can enjoy them. This was such a peaceful place for us to come together and visit one of our late mother’s dream destinations. Thank you so much for providing us a beautiful space to remember our mom and spend much needed sibling time, walking down memory lane and exploring your beautiful state like she always wanted too. In memory of our mom, Tammy Boese, thank you. We hope to stay again someday.

Sue’s home was the perfect setting for our family Christmas! Now that the kids are grown and living in other states, it was wonderful to find a home to be able to all be so comfortable under one roof and so close to my parents and extended family in the Midland-Auburn area. Sue had even decorated for Christmas! 🎄 ✨ We arrived late at night in the middle of a snow storm right before Christmas. Arriving at the home was truly a feeling of sanctuary and welcome. The kitchen was very generously stocked with coffee and tea and hot cocoa and so many herbs and spices for cooking. These amenities made preparing our Christmas meals and baking cookies so much easier. I highly recommend this home and was so grateful for the thoughtful communication with the hosts. Hopefully next time we can come in the summer months to visit Dow gardens which is just down the road. You are in good hands if you choose to stay here.

Outstanding! Very clean. We clean up after ourselves so not getting slammed with a high house cleaning fee and other fees made this a great value for families. One of the best places we’ve ever rented and Becca was so nice to work with.

Quiet home, easy for us to get to and near the highway. We were able to get groceries delivered through Shipt without issue, and the kitchen was stocked well enough with pots, pans, and dishes to cook some meals. A basket of snacks was provided. The house was very comfortable and had all we needed, except we had to buy more dishwasher pods to run the dishwasher daily as only two were provided. With fall some beetles found a way into the house, but that is not too remarkable considering it was an old historic home. Our group of 6 had enough space. Communication was proactive and helpful. We had a wonderful visit and would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house had everything we needed and even a few things that I had forgot to pack (shampoo & conditioner)! Our kids were comfortable in the bunk room and the WiFi worked great for their games. Even though the weather was less than great, our family had fun playing games and talking comfortably in the dining room & living room area. The house was very clean & the hosts were friendly and wonderful to communicate with. We met several neighbors who were so nice and welcoming & eager to help answer questions or recommend a place for dinner. I would stay again if in the area, for sure!

We felt lucky to stay in such a well maintained, old architecture style apartment. Lots of natural light from the beautiful windows . Great space, with everything you need for a comfy stay. It was quiet and walkable to restaurants and along the river. Thanks Donald, wendy

Great place to stay. Very homey, felt very comfortable. Loved all the decor, beds were very comfortable. Very clean & lots of extras that are not usually included at some other places. I would gladly stay again. Karin responded to any questions promptly. Only thing that I would suggest is the shower, kind of complicated.. Thanks again Karin!

The space was immaculate. It looked recently painted and fresh. The staff were extremely responsive. My phone can't support the upgrade to airbnb and they helped me work around that issue.

This was our serving day stay here and once again we were completely happy with our stay. So much so we’ve always booked for our 3rd yr!!! Love the location, easy to walk to so many areas of town. Coffee just down in the street and Tiffanys right next door for dinner. The balcony is a fanatic feature. I don’t think we could have asked for more.

Spent a beautiful Christmas in the balcony suite. Had all the space and amenities of home. We were able to make an entire Christmas dinner as well as get a beautiful view of all the Christmas lights from our windows. Space was just as described and it could not have been more cozy with the winter season. Would happily stay here again any time!

We had a pleasant stay, just a couple small quirks to the place we didn't anticipate, maybe I didn't read the listing close enough, but host was responsive and friendly. Perks were it's a spacious stay and has a comfortable bed. TV and fireplace are nice. Quirks are is a first floor apartment complex with a tenant above and there were banging noises above that kept waking us up. Host responded they'd ask the neighbor to keep down the noise, a great option, however the noise kept happening seemingly every time we tried to sleep. Bath towels are located under the bed in a plastic drawer, which isn't correct from the description given "in dresser" and there were no towels in the bathroom initially, which really confused us. The shower is well water based and has a horrible odor, not much the host can do about this but it made showering quite uncomfortable. I still rated 5 stars due to these being minor quirks, overall the stay was peaceful.

The herald was such a chic condo with lots of character. The layout and interior design of the space was perfection. I highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Holly.

This was our 3rd stay here! The kids are convinced that the bedrooms upstairs are 'theirs' lol So if you want a place that feels like home, this is it. Beautiful master suite, quiet neighborhood and everything you need is at your fingertips. I know we'll be back!

Very clean, nice place. Although there was an underlying musty smell in the living room. We opened windows while there which helped. Bathrooms and bed were very clean and I am a stickler for cleanliness. Would visit again, possibly in a different unit to avoid the damp smell.

Michelle place was wonderful! The place had the historic home feel and the beds were comfortable. Beautiful area of town just a short walk to downtown, park, and river. Really close to the hospital if you're staying in town to visit a loved one. Highly recommend Michelle's Place!

Loved the location; not a lot to do locally, but Caseville, Bad Axe, and Port Austin were a very short, scenic, and serene drive away.

Doug was a wonderful host and very quick to respond and deliver if we needed anything at all. Stayed here with my wife and baby girl to be closer to the job in Hemlock. This location is in a peaceful, just outside downtown neighborhood. The entire city of Midland was very pleasant to be in ; everyone here was very friendly and just so much different from the Detroit Metro area. You definitely feel safe here. Being so close to downtown , there were plenty of restaurants, parks, and stores that are less than a 5 minute drive away. Will definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks again Doug!

This was our second time staying here in just over a month. We loved it again and will be back in the spring hopefully! Super convenient walking access to the center of downtown and we can’t wait to stay when the ice cream shop below is open in the summer. That will make it even better!

Nice old house split into four separate units. Very clean and tidy. Convenient parking for each unit.
