Great place for long term stays

Would highly recommend this place to anybody visiting SOCAL and looking for a location away from hustle bustle, yet being close to beaches and with easy access to LA. House is in mountains with amazing views and Chris and Peter are most gracious hosts. Loved our stay there and would definitely look it up if we happen to be in area again.

Great stay! Beautiful space. Just what I expected and needed. Quiet. Peaceful. Nature. Close to hiking trails. The perfect stop for me and my daughter on a quick trip. Grateful for the chance to stay here. Especially appreciate the host Mette who went the extra mile when I was in a pinch. It’s hard to believe this is LA. I’ll take it! Oh, PS, the sofa bed was comfortable

Simply the best. The photos can’t do justice to the sweeping canyon views, sunsets, or the local wildlife, birdsongs, and wildflowers. Billy, Lori, and their sweet dog Dora were so friendly and welcoming, they felt like family after 5 minutes. Location was ideal for us, about equidistant between Malibu and Thousand Oaks, and we spent a lot of time at the beaches but always looked forward to getting “home.” There are so many exquisite spots on the multiple patio decks to enjoy the fresh air and nature that you never relax the same way twice! It’s also located right near the Backbone Trail and we enjoyed hiking and running several sections of it. Oh and can’t forget the bed— it’s a literal dream. I think I had some of the best sleep of my life here. Overall 10/10. Great panoramas, great price point, great people. We will be back.
