A substantial part of the mountain range (144 km²) is protected as the so-called Parque rural de Anaga,[1] and since 2015 it has also been a UNESCO biosphere reserve. The highest point is Cruz de Taborno (1,020 m above sea level), other peaks include Bichuelo, Anambro, Chinobre, Pico Limante, Pico del Inglés and Cruz del Carmen. Estimated age is up to 9 million years

The apartments location is ideal for touring the island because it is located approximately half way between the south and north. The motorway is about an 8 minute drive away. Once on the motorway the choice is yours go north or south. There many beaches to choose from the nearest being a 10 minute drive away. If you like mountain stuff (para gliding etc), hiking, water sports or just walking you have it here.
