The host went above and beyond what I had expected in hosting my family and I! Enjoyed my stay at Fukui and was worry free about the accommodation as the host was very friendly and clear with the instructions. English labels were present throughout the house and made the stay easier on us as non Japanese speaking travellers.

The host is helpful, friendly, and good with English so it's no problem if you don't speak Japanese. There's lots to check out in the house from art to cultural items, to books of Japanese art. Of course, there's the house itself, especially the living/main room and exterior to appreciate the traditional Japanese architecture.

5 minutes walk to the East Exit of Fukui Station

I stayed in GW for three nights to sightsee around Fukui. There was an air conditioner in each room, and it was not cold when I slept. In addition to the refrigerator, microwave, dishes, coffee and tea, as well as plenty of futons, toothbrushes, towels, etc. Therefore, I was able to buy ingredients at the supermarket and store them in the refrigerator and eat at any time I wanted.Since there are small children, it may be difficult to adjust if it is a hotel, but it was free and comfortable like a home. The car was also available for parking in a minivan.(However, I don't think it's possible to lower the height of the car) [Points of Concern] I get used to it and it may disappear in time, but the bathroom and washroom smell of thinner?I was curious about. There was a little rusty from the hot water in the bathroom (the black thing sinks a little when I flush because of the hot water) Overall, I was more comfortable than the price, and I am very satisfied.
