[Facility Description] The entire building is for rent, and the price is the same for up to 5 people. (For 6 or more people, you don't need to include preschool children who don't need extra futons and towels, for 1,850 yen per person) There is no WiFi. The floor plan is 3LDK, and you can enjoy BBQ outdoors. (You will need to bring BBQ ingredients, charcoal, and equipment such as a stove) There is a swing on the wooden deck. There is a hammock in the living room. And from the windows, you can see the great nature of Ikeda-cho from anywhere, and hear the babbling of the river and the chirping of birds. It is also convenient as a stopover point to the Dinosaur Museum and Eihei-ji Temple. [River Swimming] The Asaba River flows behind Sakura-sho, and in the summer, it is a hidden playground where local children come to play in the river. You can walk there. Onsen There is a hot spring facility called Kanjo that is a 5-minute drive away. There is also a sauna, and it is a place of relaxation for locals and tourists alike.

Opened in December 2024 [hatto] is an inn limited to two groups per day that has been renovated from a 50-year-old building. 9 mins walk from Fukui station, It is located at the entrance to the Hamamachi area adjacent to the downtown area. The Hamamachi area still retains the atmosphere that was once bustling as Chayamachi. The location with a view of Mt. Ashiba, facing the Ashikawa River, is located in the city, but you can feel the nature. I can have a relaxing time. I usually spend time in Fukui. We have created an accommodation that we want to stay in.

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

Our vacation rental house was a residence of the previous owner of “Uo-Shiroki” which has been a long established Japanese style restaurant since Taisho Era(1912-1926). It is luxurious. We are proud of our elegant Japanese style garden, which has pine trees and mossy garden stones. You can relax and enjoy the changing of the seasons from the modern Japanese style room.
