  • Great space close to hiking and Manitou Springs. We were greeted by deer our first evening on the property and woke up to some beautiful snow on our last morning. A great space to stay and relax which feels like home.

  • Regina is a very thoughtful host! Her cabin is cozy and warm. 100% preferred it to staying at any hotel. It’s like a mini condo and the decor and feel is homey and woodsy. The only thing I think anyone should know is the restroom isn’t attached to the bedroom. Other than that, it’s absolutely perfect. We had an amazing time and made some great memories. It’s not that far of a drive from many of the fun outdoor activities we planned, but we had our own car and drove to many places. There was absolutely no traffic in comparison to Houston, which was also very nice. Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend.

  • Perfect place if you love hiking

  • Thank you, Regina, for an incredible weekend getaway at your “snow-mantic”, cozy cabin! Space the great for the two of us and amenities were prefect. Would definitely recommend!

  • Cozy cabin, would definitely reccomend based on value and experience! Not too far from denver if you're looking to get out of the city and conveniently located near many geological points of interest. The owners are very thoughtful, responsive, and communicate very clearly. A great find!

  • Fantastic spot! Great view! My wife and I and our three dogs were able to completely relax, very peaceful and quiet. We had no problems at all while we were there. We'll definitely be back.

  • This cabin is great, better than expectations, the view will blow your mind, kitchen amazing, sunroom amazing. You can not go wrong coming here.

  • It was my second stay at 35 Acre Mountain Cabin, and it was just as lovely as my first. I visited a year ago and didn't realize they had gotten rid of the hot tub! Despite that, the house was as beautiful and cozy as ever, and the view was to die for! Had an amazing weekend!

    Abigail2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you want a true Colorado experience look no further. Wake up in the morning look outside the windows and see some of the most beautiful views you could dream of

    William2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was better than expected. We arrived a day or so after it snowed and Mark had the driveway freshly plowed to allow easy entry. The view off the back porch & deck are breathtaking. Location was great. We enjoyed the privacy. It was just a short scenic 20 min drive to Woodland Park which has everything you need. The cabin is stocked with all essentials. Even has board games in the closet. WiFi was strong, so no issues there. We spent one day exploring the property & snow sledding. Would definitely recommend staying here.

    Jon2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was perfect and the view was amazing. It was very spacious for my family of 7.

    Danielle2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Marks place was an absolute dream! The photos in the listing don’t do it justice AT ALL! The views are phenomenal, the cabin was cozy and inviting. My family and I had the best time there. We will sure miss his sweet dogs too. I’m normally not a dog person but they were so sweet and well behaved, I would have let them sleep with us had he not said they needed to be let out at night. Mark was very helpful when I had a question and got back to me quickly. Lastly, being from Texas, the Texas touches throughout the house kept us feeling close to home. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to go back!

    Melissa2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! We have done airbnb in many parts of Colorado and this cabin has the best view I've ever seen. Oh, and we live in Colorado! Mark is a really great host who is very responsive to messages and will also make you feel like you have the whole mountain to yourself. We were even able to see the New Years fireworks off of Pikes Peak! We will most definitely be come back.

There were really nice personal touches like Christmas lights, a poinsettia, bread, and even an invitation to check in early because the cabin was ready!

    Rachel2019-12-09T00:00:00Z

  • Kathy is an awesome host with a beautiful cabin! The view from every window is amazing, waking up to the snowy mountains was pure bliss! She also left a lot of information about our stay and the surrounding restaurants that was really helpful for us. Our stay couldn't have gone any smoother, I definitely recommend using renting her cabin. You won't regret it!

***Covid-19 accommodations. We are changing to a 3 night minimum stay and are leaving a 5 days gap between reservations for the protection of our guests and cleaning staff. This nice and cozy little studio has a private entrance and is adjacent to our home on our 2-acre property at 9100 feet of elevation with great views of Pikes Peak and the surrounding mountains. Self service check-in and check-out.
We moved to Colorado from Minnesota 16 years ago and discovered family and friends like to visit us now. ;-) As the home we purchased is a bit small, we decided there was a need for another space for guests so we built this studio apartment. It's a cozy little space for 2 with all the conveniences for a short trip away from home.
Our neighborhood is a community of 2-acre properties. The neighbors are friendly but private folks. Lots of open space!
  • Perry + Jeanien’s Place is one for the books for us. We absolutely adored the space and the surrounding area. It’s definitely a place we will miss and we will cherish it. We have seriously been thinking of coming back to stay here again for when we visit the area to do hiking and such. The best quaint and quiet place for a getaway - what a getaway really is for us. We’re so thankful.

  • This is an amazing place, great value, and perfect for two or three people! The host is very kind, responsive, and helpful. The area is wonderful, the home is conveniently located close-by to a delicious restaurant called the Swiss chalet- perfect for a romantic getaway! Be mindful that the master bed is up in a loft with plenty of space to sit up whilst in a laying down position, the bed is very comfy, and you need to watch your head whilst getting up to climb down the ladder- I had no problems with this and it was expected after I saw photos of the property but I just want others to realize this before booking if it makes them uncomfortable. Gorgeous and thoughtful touches really set this place apart as well as its unique architecture and wonderful owner!

    Trisha2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first time staying in a tiny house, and it was a lot of fun. It had its fair share of quirks, but it is amazing what you can do with such a small space. The water went out on us (pipes froze in the park) and Linley was immediately on it and had the matter resolved within an hour or so. The directions we were given were very clear and we found it on the first try. No issues with the Wi-Fi either. A few things we felt were worth noting: - In the cold winter days, make sure you have a spare water bottle or two, just in case the pipes freeze. I can't imagine this is a common thing, but we weren't prepared and should have been. Linley offered us another place to stay in the meantime, but the water was restored before we needed it. - This is in a trailer and tiny house park. You'll see both in the area. We knew that before booking, though I'm not sure I would have gathered that without going through some of the reviews. The area felt very safe from the moment we got there. It was also very quiet, despite being relatively close to Hwy 24.

We enjoyed ourselves in the area, the amenities made the cold days out seem so nice and warm within, we loved the fireplace, the views, the charm, and we miss it already. This is quite an amazing experience and one you would be depriving yourself of by not staying here. The communication from Mindy was top notch and was able to help us out in EVERY situation. Stay and enjoy, this is a rare one.

  • The house was perfect for our gathering of 9 people. The sauna and hot tub really sold us on the space but everything about the home was fantastic! TONS of blankets and bedding provided! Would definitely stay again!

    Rhianna2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is every bit as wonderful as it looks online! Danielle responded immediately to any issues before our trip. The cabin had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had every amenity that we needed. The cabin was very clean and beautifully designed. It was a wonderful cabin with plenty of privacy and class. We did grocery shop before arriving which we recommend. Once there we had to check our phones for directions before we left. Our signal got dropped often on trips. This cabin was perfect.

Cooked a great little dinner right in the house that night. And went to The Pantry for breakfast in the morning seven minutes away. Absolutely lovely space, love the quaintness, and it felt like home for the night! Would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you for everything! Cheers!

  • This cabin is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this cabin, if I could give it 10 stars I would. The curb appeal is simply stunning and matches the modern yet homely feeling interior. However, the best part would have to be the phenomenal hospitality and communication with the homeowner, Candace. She made everything extremely easy and was always available to answer any questions. If you and your friends or family are looking for a beautiful clean cabin with great views, easy accessibility to outdoor adventures, as well as privacy THIS IS YOUR CABIN!

This space is an entire basement floor with a private entrance, one bedroom, a relaxing separate living room, and luxurious bathroom with a private sauna. The hot tub and front porch overlook beautiful Pike's Peak. We are minutes from downtown Woodland park with cute local restaurants, parks and shops. We can't wait to share our favorite city with you!
Your space is the entire basement floor of our home, and is separate from out living area upstairs. Since this is our primary residence, you will probably be able to hear us moving about upstairs, but we do our best not to be overly noisy. You will have your own bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed, living room with pull out couch, kitchenette, bathroom with sauna, and hot tub. The kitchenette does not have a full oven, but we did provide a hot plate and large toaster oven. There is also a fireplace for you to use. The space has an Amazon Firestick that you can use a variety of streaming services that we will leave signed in for your use (Hulu, Netflix, etc). We just ask that you use our guest accounts for those services. There are also several channel apps that you can access using your cable or satellite subscription. We would ask that all smoking be done outdoors and away from the house.
Our neighborhood is relatively quiet, but very close to some cute shops and restaurants in downtown Woodland Park. We really enjoy Local Lion Coffee Shop, AJ's Pizza, and Memorial Park. We are located 12 miles from the entrance of Pikes Peak, 17 miles from Garden of the Gods, and 19 miles from downtown Colorado Springs.
  • Fantastic space, clean hot tub, large sauna, and beautiful views!

    Emilie2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great space with amazing hot tub and sauna! The views are great, and the little town of woodland park has great places to eat and things to see. There was also recommendations on the best places to eat and things to do which were great!

  • Beautiful place! Perfect place for a Colorado get away in the mountains

    Rachael2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first time staying at an Airbnb and it did not disappoint! We honeymooned here from Texas and the location is awesome. It’s far enough away from the noise of the town but close enough to anything you could want, be it food, nightlife, tourist attractions, etc. It was a lovely place to retreat back to after spending the day sightseeing. Easy to make yourself at home and relax. Highly recommend on all fronts!

    Justin2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place with awesome people Definitely recommend staying here. Super cozy and quite place. Hot tub and sauna was a hit, my family loved it, check in was next to effortless I loved everything about it

    Eliomar2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Nice cozy place! Sauna was awesome. Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but love that it’s there to use. Recommend 4WD in the winter because their driveway is fairly steep. It was cleared the first night but after a squall it was frozen over again and a little tricky to maneuver. The dogs are a bit loud but it’s only in the mornings and before bed. Our last night they were getting some sort of stone work done because a truck was blocking the driveway and there was a bit of banging upstairs. It wasn’t an unreasonable hour or anything but a heads up would have been nice. Luckily Domino’s delivers up there!

    Kayleigh2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great! Anything and everything any traveler might need Craig and Laura have covered. Definitely recommend everyone to stay here if they’re in the area!

The home is located in the Pike National Forest between Deckers and Woodland Park in unincorporated West Creek. For a more detailed look, search on Google Maps for 14964 N Pine Lake Dr, Sedalia, CO 80135. If you zoom in and choose 'satellite' you can see the lake; we're near the north end of the lake on the eastern shore near the spillway. 2. Is the property pet friendly? Yes, we allow pets, so BRING YOUR PETS! 3. Where is the nearest store? Woodland Park has real stores, including a supermarket. Deckers (north of the house) is closer and has a convenience store, restaurant and bait shop. Like we said, this is real Colorado not tourist Colorado! 4. Where can we fish? Manitou Lake in Manitou Lake Park (7 miles away), Cheesman Reservoir (15 miles away), or, for serious fly fishing, the South Platte River (multiple sites.) 5. What's your favorite hike? If you situate yourself well in this area, you can look out over miles of wilderness -- land appearing exactly as it did 500 years ago. We strongly recommend tramping around the lake. You'll see a variety of wildlife, including an abundance of local and migratory birds.
  • Quiet relaxing cabin in the mountains it was the perfect spot

    Courtney2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for a swanky new place with all the updates and close to everything, look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a quaint, comfortable, quiet, and homey place that might make you nostalgic for Grandma's house, you've found it. The cabin is set next to a beautiful lake in the woods in a small neighborhood. The home is great for unwinding and enjoying some quality time with family. Appliances are older but functional, and the house has its quirks, but we had everything we needed for a great Thanksgiving holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here and will definitely be back!!

  • We love Kyle’s place. It was a much needed gateway weekend for our family and we were so glad that we found this warm and cozy cabin. We had such a great time just hang out at the cabin, enjoy family time with our young kids. The hot tub was amazing with the breathtaking view. Kyle’s place has everything we need for a comfortable stay.

  • The location of the cabin was great. Great views and a wonderful place to get away and relax. Very clean and well appointed.

    Richard2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Views are incredible and the cabin is even more than we expected from the photos. Felt so secluded but only 15 minutes away from anything you might need! The cabin itself is pretty much equipped for you to not have to leave at all during your stay, from board games/movies to the hot tub to the open kitchen. WiFi/Direct TV/Speakers all worked flawlessly as well. Immediately started planning our next trip back!!!

    Amanda2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • What a cool place! You really can't beat the location--tucked away from the main road, hardly in view of any other place, acres to explore, Pikes Peak looming through the giant windows. Kyle is very hospitable as well, and you can tell a ton of folks have enjoyed their stay in this cozy, welcoming home in the woods/mountains. We look forward to our return!

  • Secluded, quiet, and the cabin is beautiful. Highly recommended.

    Andrew2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is beautiful and the perfect size. Our family of three (toddler included) enjoyed it very much. They had toys. All the furniture is beautiful, the view is amazing to see every day. I wish we would have gotten in the hot tub but it was cold and we had long days out and just came back to rest in the dark. I would definitely book again. It is secluded, which is what we wanted but close to nearby grocery stores and restaurants. The drive to Garden of the Gods and Pike’s peak was so close. Perfect location!

    Yasmin2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutley loved this cabin. It was very clean and cozy. Also it was close to everything we wanted to see, but far enough out of town that we could still enjoy nature. They had plenty of games, puzzles, and movies to keep us entertained on days we stayed in. We would love to come back to this cabin!

Very comfy furnishings and REAL Direct TV! Natalie is a great hostess and the check in was effortless. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

  • As others have mentioned the driveway is kinda difficult to navigate in our underpowered econo box rental car. My daily driver at home wouldn't have a problem. I enjoyed the small touches like heaters in the bathroom, a coffee corner, bottled water, and a wax warmer to make the room smell good. For the price and privacy, it's definitely worth the money and time. The hosts were quick with communication and accommodating. The beds are stupid comfy. I've never slept so well. Thanks for the restful stay!

  • Looking for a spacious place with amazing views? Natalie’s place fits that description and more. I was able to come back and relax with the calm mountain views.

    Grace2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Natalie and Rob went above and beyond anything I could have asked for! My car was definitely not able to make it up their driveway (which was totally my fault for not heeding the warnings) and they graciously dropped what they were doing, got my car unstuck for me, and offered to help me out with transportation in the meantime. As for the place, it was large, clean, and very comfortable. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. I'd definitely recommend coming here!

    Meghan2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place was beautiful! Wonderfully relaxing location. The check in process was very easy, the suite was larger than we expected and so cozy. The bed was super comfy! There was cold water in the fridge and a great selection of coffee/tea for the morning. The views of the mountains and nature was breathtaking. Definitely wish we could have stayed longer!

  • We had a great weekend stay at Jo's place. The house was clean and well appointed. Jo was very communicative. The tiny home park is on the edge of Woodland Park, so it's a quick trip to Colorado Springs, and also very easy access to the mountains. It was great for a weekend gateway. If we are back in Woodland Park we will stay here again.

Rock Rest Eco-Cabin was custom built by the owners in 2018. Dedicated to grandparents Ralph & Helen Trout who taught us to love and respect the mountains & nature that resides there. The goal was to create an original structure that combines modern lines with rustic textures, and has minimal impact on the environment. A crane was used to hoist the beams over the trees to disturb the site as little as possible. Rock Rest is a living art piece. We are excited to share it with you!
The cabin utilizes reclaimed and locally sources material, plus cutting edge building technology to provide an experience that is convenient and comfortable. The cabin features above code insulation, high efficiency windows, modern building wrap, reclaimed 100 year old wood siding and locally sources beams. We have a state of the art waste water treatment system that feeds the trees. And a tankless hot water heater. Inside and outside lighting is low watt. Future projects are a solar system for the roof and a new water well. We will soon be completely off grid!!! The kitchen is totally modern and fully stocked with everything you need to cook a wonderful meal for up to six guests. Custom concrete counter tops inlaid with polished stones and fossils compliment the stainless steel appliances, open shelving and oak stained cupboards. The bedroom stays extra warm with a six foot baseboard heater installed permanently behind the queen bed. A second twin XL daybed is suspended, accessed by ladder, directly below a long horizontal window overlooking the valley. Plenty of fun and fluffy linens guarantee a cozy stay on the coldest of winter nights. The bathroom is a perfectly clean and efficient space. The powder room has an oak vanity and mirror with a modern sink and lighting. The shower has a custom stainless steel surround with a polished river rock mosaic pan. The baseboard heater in the lav and our tankless hot water heater guarantees you can always enjoy a hot shower. Our cozy living room has a wood burning stove, 40” Smart TV with Netflix, Bluetooth sound bar, HD DVD player, industrial and rustic furniture. There is a very comfy custom build twin XL daybed as well. The HUGE sliding glass door addresses the front porch with a twin XL swing and the beautiful forest surrounding it.
The property is a mile down the road from The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is also nearby. There are 14 miles of local hiking trails and Eleven Mile Lake is a great place to fish and boat.
  • Great place! We enjoyed our stay. All the comforts of home, clean, and modern!

  • Such a cute little cozy place to escape from the world for a bit. This place is small enough that it's perfect for two, but it has enough beds that it would also be a nice place to stay with a few friends who you're close with. Everything was clean and operational.

Secluded mountain cabin on 35 pristine acres with a wonderful view of Pike's Peak as a backdrop. Spring fed pond on the property and plenty of space for hiking, exploring, wildlife viewing as well as sledding and snowshoeing in the winter. Elk Spring cabin has lodge decor with many handcrafted furniture pieces. Large windows in the living room to take in the view of trees and Pike's Peak. It offers seclusion yet minutes from grocery stores and restaurants.
You will have the entire home to yourself. It’s in a perfect location providing seclusion and views yet only minutes to restaurants and stores.
Elk Spring cabin is in the heart of the Pike's Peak region with so many activities within an hour or less from the cabin. Our favorites are visiting Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, white water rafting, the Royal Gorge, Cripple Creek, the Wolf and Wildlife Rescue Center, Florissant Fossil Beds Natl Monument and Mueller State Park. So much to see and do!
  • Amazing place to stay in or go out! Games, books, WiFi, hot tub and lovely robes! Perfect directions to easily get to this wonderful cabin. Could not have been better! Well, if I could have just stayed forever, that would have been great!

    Stephanie2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • If y'all are looking for a secluded and beautiful spot overwhelmed with nature, with an awesome hot tub, this is the place to go!

    Daniel2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • It was really nice place, quiet, wildlife, beautiful location, and the dollar game. I will be back I would recommend it

    Cody2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was great! The view is like a Bob Ross painting-- beautiful and lots of happy trees! We wanted our toddler to experience snow for the first time ever and boy did this spot fulfill that wish! This is the place to make memories!! The cabin, the view, and the snow was just perfect! This is the perfect location because you are secluded yet close to Colorado Springs. Garden of the Gods was about a 30 min drive from the cabin. The cabin was clean, well taken care of, and felt very homey. We honestly can't wait to go back!

    Tierney2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy getaway!! Stay the weekend and you won’t want to leave. Perfect mountain views from the cabin, private backyard with a south-facing deck and hot tub, cozy cabin feel inside. Randomly there were dollar bills folded up and stashed everywhere in the house. The fireplace mantle, behind speakers, on the antler chandelier... it was fun to read the names and dates on the money. And we hid ours too, of course.

    Joe2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, spacious and an overall great stay. We enjoyed our week long stay at this cabin. The only complaint we had were that the couches were kinda uncomfortable but other than that everything was great!

    Rachael2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was way better than we could have imagined. The views were amazing and Colorado was so much better than anything we could ever imagine. We were not bothered the whole time and everything was laid out for us with clear direction! Clean, everything was provided, Great location and super piece full. It is secluded and you cannot see the other cabin near the property. There was no snow while we were there but I would recommend keeping a eye on the weather if you don’t have a 4wd or AWD vehicle. They take very good care of the roads tho so that’s nice. We hope to come back soon or maybe see another one of there cabins! Great value!

    Levi2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • The Elk Spring Cabin was more than we ever expected. Aside from the breathtaking view, we were welcomed with a personalized message, a clean space, and extra amenities we didn’t think we would need but loved having (bird feed, sleds, box fan for white noise, kids toys, robes). Also, I need to mention how great the host, Kyle, was. He was very responsive and even gave us a recommendation to see a Christmas parade they were having in town- the kids ended up having a blast! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The Lil Lincoln sits at an elevation of 9,560ft. and was originally built on the Western Slope of Colorado in the 50’s and was moved in 1965 to it’s current location near Woodland Park. The story behind the move was that a doctor moved his practice in 1959 to Woodland Park. He wanted his nurse to join him, she said she'd move if he moved her cabin. Well he did, and so did she.
This is a 435sqft, non-smoking, pet friendly, genuine mid century log cabin, with views of the North Slope of Pikes Peak. Located just 3 miles from Hwy 24, the perfect getaway.
The cabin is in the heart of the Pikes Peak Region with many activities close by so you can: • Visit Seven Falls, at night • Extreme Skiing on the Peak • Descend Pike Peak, on a bicycle • Stroll up the Manitou Springs Incline • Visit Cave of the Winds Terror-dactyl • See Garden of the Gods on horseback • Feed a Giraffe, at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo • Visit the Royal Gorge Bridge on a raft, zip-line or train • Descend 1,000ft into the earth at the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine • Or just go fishing on the Catamount Reservoir
  • Would recommend to any couple looking for a get away.

    Kirsty2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is the cutest little cabin. We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect! The only negative thing I have about it was that there was no blinds to cover the windows. Other than that we had a great time!

    Kara2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • The Lil Lincoln is the perfect getaway with the most incredible view you could imagine! It was very peaceful and cozy! Definitely recommended!!

    Jenna2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful rustic cabin with incredible view! Great location!Sharon and Rick are very thoughtful and helpful hosts. The Little Lincoln is beautiful and very clean. We really enjoyed watching it snow, the birds and deer through the big picture window.

    Rhonda2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin and view were remarkable. We loved our stay! It’s for a great day waking up to the view of pines peak every morning. Rick was very responsive to any questions we had.

    Tanner2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lil Lincoln really exceeded our expectations. What a perfect little cabin to stay at. The views from the window right next to the bed & the friendly deer were our favorite parts. But everything else was great too. My daughter, husband & myself were a little sad when it finally came time to leave. Lol. It was our first trip to Colorado & this cabin made our experience there even more special. Truly a beautiful & unforgettable place.

    Maria2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Me and 3 buddies stayed for a mans trip. Tons of wildlife right at the cabin. Not too far from Colorado Springs. Beautiful view from the bed of pikes peak. Will definitely be coming back!

    Kolton2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • The place is very home-y and has a beautiful view of Pike's Peak. The last 100 feet of the drive in the neighborhood required chains in the winter for one of our cars but did not for the other, both were two wheel - drive. The cabin is relatively small but feels perfectly-sized due to the space being used quite well. I would highly recommend this listing for a couple or group, everybody loved it! We will be coming back!

We have a cozy, rustic cabin (though updated) on 40 acres and very near the national forest. Skiing, snowshoeing, biking, fishing- lots of outdoors adventures nearby! You are also welcome to wander the property as well. Deer, elk, fox, bear and even some moose have been seen on the property. This is one of four cabins built in the late 40's or early 50's. We are restoring the cabins as well as the forest and pond.
Pike National Forest is very close by (easy walking distance). Mueller State Park, Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center and Eleven mile Reservoir are all a short drive away.
  • We loved this place. We had the comfort of a cabin in the woods without the long drives to different attractions.

    Maria2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most amazing and peaceful stay. The cabin has a wonderful rustic and very homey feel to it. So comfortable and had all the amenities you could ask for and more. • John and Rosemary have such a gem of a place! Very functional space, every nook and cranny has a purpose. Perfectly comfortable for two people. Living area is open and pleasant, even has adjustable dividers that cut the space off entirely and becomes its own room. Bathroom is spacious and was stocked with plenty of towels / washcloths/ toilet paper. Big shower + mirror Kitchen was stocked with pots / plates / cups / etc. a big toaster oven instead of an oven that preformed well (we were able to cook steak in it). I needed cooking oil for my eggs and within minutes of asking, John was knocking on the door bringing more than enough oil for the week! Such great hospitality! Overall the place was well stocked, comfortable and super cute / aesthetic. Definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back.

    Sierra2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, cozy cottage. Had every amenity you would need for a very comfortable stay, including some pretty tasty coffee. Short walking distant to town. Great restaurants and a brewery only 5 min walk away. It’s very close to tons of beautiful hiking areas and other outdoor activities. Met John, who was extremely nice, helpful, and welcoming. Overall I had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to anyone. I will definitely be back!

    Stephen2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place to stay! It was very clean, cozy stay with great amenities and great location. I would also say that I don't think that the pictures posted on AirBnB don't do the place justice, it is a great find! However, if planning to do a lot of cooking, I will add that the kitchen is a little tight, but you can get it done! It was extremely easy to check in/out. John and Rosemary replied to questions extremely quickly.

    Sara2020-01-28T00:00:00Z

Owners really go out of their way to make it feel homey, especially with the Christmas decorations. All around, a really cozy place to stay in winter.

  • This cabin was more then I could have expected. I’m so happy I chose to stay on the outskirts of Colorado Springs! Location was amazing , my husband was in love with the whole place (it was a surprise for him). The whole place had a great cabin feel , all the way down to the bedroom. Would 100 percent recommend (which I already have)!

  • Loved this cabin!! It was a perfect weekend getaway. The place is gorgeous and Andrew was so thoughtful about every detail and put so much love into it. We had a great time relaxing and exploring around the area. I wish we could have stayed longer!

  • What a beautiful place in such a quiet area. This place has everything you need and more. Cant aait to book again.

    Brian2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Andrew's cabin. It is so cozy! Perfect for winter nights by the gas stove, watching a movie. The cabin is beautifully constructed and the hot tub was a dream! The kitchen had the basic amenities for cooking meals, the bathroom spacious and the bed very comfortable. The location was great, felt a little in the woods but not too far from amenities. Communication and check in were easy. We had sunny weather while we were there so the roads were clear, but if you go when there is snow you may need AWD/4WD to get back to the house in the neighborhood more comfortably. We would definitely recommend!

  • Amazing place for a weekend getaway!

    Christopher2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew’s place was even cuter than the pictures! The octagonal shape of the cabin can’t help but make it feel warm and cozy. We were very comfortable and appreciated all the thought and care that went into making it such a warm and welcoming escape! Would definitely come back.

  • Bill and Lisa are wonderful host. Their place is beautiful and cozy. It was very clean. They were helpful and even placed a list of places to eat or visit around town. They are about 20 minutes from the nearest town but the drive is beautiful, so it was worth it. The deer come right up in the yard. We enjoyed our time. This is a place I would stay again.

We are closely monitoring and responding to the unfolding situation with COVID-19. We encourage each of our guests to follow guidelines from our elected officials and the CDC, and to assess their level of risk and consider how they can mitigate risk for those more vulnerable as well. Colorado Springs has a long history of hospitality for those who have sought a safe, clean space to heal from respiratory illness. Our nickname was once “Sun City” due to our 300 days of sunshine per year and our 1,106,604 acres of Pike National Forest, Garden of the Gods, and other parks and natural sites are the ideal way to Social Distance! We are taking extra precautions: Our cleaners are deep cleaning our homes and taking extra care to sanitize all surfaces beyond our typical (already stellar) cleaning process. We will also provide Clorox wipes for you so you can have the peace of mind of extra sanitizing on your own. There are many restaurants and business still operating in Colorado Springs and we’ll be happy to make suggestions based on your needs. This cozy cabin with hot tub is tucked away in a historic mountain neighborhood of Cascade at the foot of famed Pikes Peak and is the perfect place to get away for family fun, grilling a shared meal, and listening to hummingbirds fly by, or watching snow flakes fall from the private outdoor courtyard while soaking in the spa. Mountain climbing, trails, fishing, boating and other adventures are extremely close to this wilderness escape, but you're also close enough to neighbors to feel safe for those who want to keep their wilderness adventures on the daytime checklist. :) Inside, the cabin offers vaulted ceilings, large windows and original wood work. Nearby sleepy mountains towns include charming restaurants (the Pantry is famous for breakfast and the Blue Moose is a favorite beer and pizza/wings stop for after the days adventures). You'll be a quick 10 or so minute drive Woodland Park or Colorado Springs for provisions, night life, and more, but you might not ever make it there! Sitting on a hill, your view overlooks the pine trees and mountains, and the ample front porch is a great place to watch the world go by, and by the world we mean the deer. The master bedroom has a door that leads right to the private courtyard where you can slip into the hot water and soak away your stress! WOOF! Up to 2 dogs are welcome for a fee of $50 per dog for the first 5 nights, and an additional $10 per night per dog after that. Please bring your own pet supplies; we will have a food bowl and water dish and pet bed on hand. The yard is fenced so your pups may roam while you take in the view. Please be aware there is wildlife in the area so pets should be kept on a leash at all times they are outside of the fence; it's extremely easy for dogs to get hurt or lost if they chase wildlife. Our poop scooper will happily clean up after your pets at a rate of $50/hour. This amenity is automatically added to your stay if our team finds poo in the yard after your departure, so please carefully search out any piles if you'd like to "doo it yourself". :) Please note that for stays 30 nights and over, all guests over 18 must complete a brief application and background check at their own expense. If approved we can confirm your stay with a written lease and security deposit. If declined we give a full refund less application and background check fees.
There are two bedrooms that each have their own bathrooms right outside their door. The open floor plan provides a comfortable space for dining and relaxing after a long day of adventuring. The back yard is completely private and fenced with a hot tub. There is also a Queen air mattress and a twin air mattress available for use. This can fit on the floor of the TV area or in the master bedroom. Square Footage: 1314
This cabin is located off HWY 24 (Ute Pass), literally on the slope of Pikes Peak but only a few minutes from the highway. You are in the mountains so you will see wildlife. You may experience interrupted cell reception, so please record directions and all other information you need for your stay in advance. Wifi is available at the cabin.
  • WOW, from the location to the layout this cabin has it all. Tim and his team were easy to correspond with making everything simple from checkin to check-out. The cabin is located at the foot hills of Pikes Peak with so many tourist attractions within a half hour radius and if you don’t feel like jumping in the car the front and back patio have all the key elements to relax. Also, dog friendly 5/5!

    Heather2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view. Great location that feels remote but still near attractions. This cabin combines the lodge feel that my husband was looking for with the hotel comfort that I’m comfortable with. Great place!

  • This is by far the coziest Airbnb we’ve every stayed in. The views cannot he beat. It is clean and has EVERYTHING you need for the perfect getaway. We enjoyed cooking in the fully furnished kitchen and utilized the grill quite a bit. The large tv and recliners were perfect for those days we just wanted to chill and not get out. They also gave some great restaurant recommendations for when we did go out! Our favorite restaurants were The Southern Lilly & Fusion Japan. I would 100% book this place again without hesitation. Thank you, Steve & Tandy for proving such an outstanding place!

Experience life in the Colorado Rockies as it was 100 years ago! We have added some 20th century to the mix. Walk out to 1000 acres of Nat. Forest, rockhounding, fishing and reconnecting with nature. 40 min from Co. Spgs & 30 min from Cripple Creek.
Our 1860's cabin started out as a stagecoach stop and was turned into a homestead in the 1880's. The cabin sits on our 21 acre horse ranch. It backs to the Pike National Forest. Lake George is famous for rockhounding. The Prospector's show on the Weather Channel is filmed around Lake George. The cabin is a mile off of highway 24 but feels secluded. There is a country store, restaurant and liquor store within a couple miles. There is a cooktop, pots and pans, dishes, utensils. toaster, refrigerator, microwave, outside a grill with supplies.Keurig coffee maker complete with coffee, tea and cocoa. Bagels and cream cheese and some fresh eggs from our chickens. Woodstove with plenty of firewood and a firepit outside.DVD player with movies.
Lake George is only 40 minutes from Colorado Springs. Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Cave of the Winds are located there. We are 30 minutes from Cripple Creek..turn of the century gambling town. The Royal Gorge is an hour south.
  • We can’t say enough about the sweet little cabin at Idlewild Ridge Ranch! The spot was easily accessible and just off the highway but felt super secluded! This was the perfect rustic but very romantic cabin! My husband really enjoyed building fires in the wood stove and I enjoyed the claw foot tub! The bed couldn’t have been any comfier & we LOVED the heated mattress pad - it really kept us warm on very cold nights. I knew we may not get cell reception (AT&T) but the Wifi worked perfectly & we had no problems FaceTiming our kids back in NC. Stephanie was very prompt in communication and the keypad entry for check-in was very convenient. We loved exploring the property and found some beautiful gems along the way! My only complaint is that we didn’t get to stay longer!!

    Kimberly2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • We planned the stay for our anniversary and it was great. We had cozy fires and great hiking nature experiences. We were able to take our dog with us and had a big fenced yard so it worked out pretty well.

    Carrie2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is an awesomely unique stay. The history of the place alone is cool but Stephanie has decorated this old cabin into an extraordinary experience. We loved having our own yard for our dog to run and play. The view of PikeNF was beautiful. We had the pleasure of meeting their horses and getting a hug from one of them. It was great that the cabin is located close to convenience store and the pizza was awesome there. Easy access to the highway but we never heard any road noise. This was our first Airbnb and everything was beyond expectations! The hosts are great people.

    Laura2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was very well decorated and comfortable. Dwayne greeted us as we arrived and informed us on some of the attractions in the area; including the best one of all, the back yard! We met Stephanie a bit later, and she was very sweet and helpful. Such an amazing place to relax, would definitely recommend!

    Kacie2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Glad we found Stephanie’s place

    Pete2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Rustic, cute, quiet, and very enjoyable.

    Amy2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Peaceful rustic cabin that feels very secluded while still being near to shops and restaurants. There is a cabin next door so it is not completely private but the front porch faces the forest so you don’t even notice. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

    Kara2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is just delightful - a wonderful combination of rustic and super comfortable. You have absolutely everything you need, including access to the beautiful mountainside the cabin faces. If you're expecting a remote location, this isn't it as it is only about 1/4 mile from the main road/highway. However, it is quiet and the front porch faces the national park and private land, so you feel like you're way out of the little town. There is another cabin near this one, so it isn't completely private. Still, the setting is delightful, including a great, old-fashioned tree swing about 20 paces from the front porch. Sitting out on the porch you'll see your share of hummingbirds and chipmunks. Enjoy!
