    This is my home and I live at this address. 2 comfortable double bedrooms (one downstairs) both overlooking open countryside with full private bathroom. The living room and kitchen are available for your use. Light breakfast is available cereals, toast, tea and coffee. A downstairs toilet is available for all guests. The bedrooms have a private bathroom. There is a living room with TV and kitchen diner for you to use. You can also make tea and coffee in the bedrooms.
    North Newbald is a picturesque village set on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. The Grade 1 listed Church is the most complete example of Norman architecture in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The Gnu Inn and Tiger Inn are situated on the village green and serve delicious food. We are 40 minutes from York, 20 minutes from Kingston Upon Hull, 15 minutes to Beverley and Pocklington.

  • This was my second time staying with Lynn and again it exceeded my expectations (see below for earlier review). It can feel lonely and daunting when commuting and travelling solo but Lynn’s place feels like going from home to home and it’s also very safe to stay in. The house is very clean and the bedroom is beautifully furnished. The cost per night is extremely reasonable especially as breakfast is available and the rooms have en suite. Lynn has a fantastic sense of humour and really lovely to chat to. This property comes with my highest recommendation. Thank you so much for having me 😄

  • No surprise that Lynn is a superhost! Her home is cosy, comfortable and clean. The photos do not do the house justice! I fell in love with it straight away. Staying at Lynn’s was like going from home to home especially as she went out of her way to make me feel at home. We stayed in the room with the king size bed and I loved the fact that the room had an en suite, this is what made the property even more unique for me. There is a pub nearby, and Market Weighton is just a few minutes drive away where there is access to more shops/restaurants. This is one of the few properties where breakfast is provided and we really appreciated this, the price is extremely reasonable and I would have expected to pay more for an en-suite room plus breakfast. I really enjoyed my chats with Lynn. It was really easy to communicate with Lynn prior to my stay and she answered any questions that I had. Anyone looking for a break from the city or looking to work in York and the surrounding areas - I would strongly recommended staying with Lynn. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Judith and Beatrix answered messages really quickly, and were really helpful. The apartment was lovely and clean with lots of light! Its around a 20minute walk to the centre of Beverley and Tesco, its a lovely walk. Judith and Beatrix left us lots of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, and other things. Plenty of clean towels in the cupboard and a lovely soft duvet. We were very comfortable.

    Lovely room in private house. Very quite. Bedroom is on the same floor space as the family bedrooms. If you are working away from home during the week my home is ideal. There is ample space throughout the house. It is home from home.
    The house is situated on a very quiet private road. There is a brilliant pub in the village. The Black Horse has won pub of the year. Food is excellent.

    The Lodgings is located just off Toll Gavel, which is the main shopping street in the historic market town of Beverley. Only a four minute walk to the Beverley Minster and three minutes from the train station, this location is ideal for all types of stay. There are many shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance and a Marks & Spencer thirty seconds away!

  • Really quirky and compact accommodation. Loved the facilities, especially the roomy shower and smart TVs. Car parking was tight, due to the length of our car, however, the gentleman who parked his car opposite, opened his gate to allow more room and then parked the car for us, beat that for hospitality/friendliness. Can recommend the pizza place next door, so much choice and food was delicious. My only criticism is that their delivery driver constantly slammed the shop and car door, which did disturb my sleep. Scott was very responsive to messages. The check in and out process was simple. Beverley is such a lovely place, with such friendly people, definitely worth a visit.

It was clean and tidy, and Scott had provided a few complementary bits which I thought was a nice touch. Location was great and the bed was very comfortable. Scott was very attentive and responded within minutes if I had any queries. All round a great place! 100% would recommend.

Her home is very convenient for someone with a family member in Castle Hill Hospital as there is a bus that takes one directly to the hospital. If I had been staying longer I would have explored the local area a little. Carole went out of her way to make my stay easy & comfortable. I actually feel like returning just to visit Carole.

  • This is my third time staying at Carole’s. Carole is an absolute gem and really does go above and beyond for her guests. She also holds a cracking conversation! This time, although it’s only breakfast included, Carole offered me something to eat out of her own food when I arrived late afternoon. I politely declined as I felt bad considering it was her food and ordered myself a takeout. Carole then offered the same thing again the following day as I had surgery the following afternoon, however I wasn’t overly hungry and just snacked on a few items. Not only did Carole offer this but she also came to pick me up after my surgery to bring me back. On checkout day, she even offered to get a bus with myself as she was travelling to Hull and get off at my the station just to help me carry my suitcase. Honestly I cannot thank this woman or recommend her enough she is absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for everything Carole and I look forward to staying with you again in the future.

  • I stayed at her place and found it to be peaceful. She helped me make things easier for my Oral exams at the maritime centre in Beverley. She dropped me in time and eventually I passed my Orals. Most important is that in one day , she made a connection with me and my challenges. She helped in all the possible ways so that i could have give my Oral exams with peace . Carole is a lovely person, and most definitely deserves her Super-host status! The room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable Carole has a beautiful house in a superb location -with a nice well maintained Garden quiet and peaceful Excellent host - Beautiful home - superb, quiet location - public transport very close. Picturesque town centre is approximately a 25 minute walk and hosts an array of shops, pubs, cafe’s, a lively Wednesday and Saturday market and excellent historic architecture.

    Overgrown terraced house opposite Beverley Beck. Bedroom on first floor with use of bathroom and kitchen. 15 mins. walk into Beverley town centre where there are probably too many bars, cafes and restaurants. 30 miles from York and about 10 from the ferry port in Hull. We are on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds where there's plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling. Both of us are happily retired school teachers who've left school rules a long way behind us.
    We have 2 cats. 1 is allergic to strangers and the other can be persuaded to leave people alone
    we live on a street that is fairly busy during the day but quiet at night. The leisure centre and Flemingate shops are 5 mins. down the road.

When I got there I was made tea, invited to warm up by their amazing fireplace and treated like one of the family before retiring to my clean and comfortable bedroom. Their gorgeous cat Charlie was also very welcoming and greeted me with leg rubs and head bumps. He is just gorgeous!!     My home is in a very good area of Beverley. Less than a 5 minute stroll and you are at Restaurants and Bars. Situated just off North Bar Within, which has Pizza Express, Beverley Arms Hotel, East Riding Theatre, to name but a few places of interest for visitors to Beverley. My home is a town house situated in a small square. Who ever you are you are welcome to come and stay, although I do not have disability access and there is a flight of stairs. Should you be a smoker there is a small patio.
    I have specified one person occupancy.... the bed is a small double and I would consider a couple but they would have to be aware that it is a small double bed. The price would, therefore, have to be adjusted. There is a private parking space. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but you are more than welcome to use the kitchen as well. The Bedroom is fitted with a small wall safe and has a lock. It has a new bed and is newly decorated. The bathroom is a newly fitted one with a Power Shower. A basic breakfast is available, toast, cereals, yogurt, tea, coffee, if required. Or just let me know of any other specific food requirements.
    Less than 5 minute stroll and you are on North Bar Within also known as The Georgian Quarter. Cafes, Pubs, Restaurants are situated on North Bar Within.

Aura downstairs is a fabulous little boutique and I loved the record shop across the road. The apartment was spotlessly clean, stylish, comfortable and cosy. The welcoming touches were also much appreciated and very generous. To leave us a bottle of chilled fizz, beers, milk and tonic for our G&T’s was well above and beyond.     Large double room with comfy double bed. The house has three bedrooms, two reception rooms, large open plan kitchen, one bathroom and one downstairs loo. There is plenty of space to chill and make yourself at home. To the rear is a delightful garden with a lovely patio area.
    Beverley is a delightful town and I love living here. Please message me if you have a any questions. It has historical buildings, cobbled streets and is steeped in history. We have a wonderful Festival of Christmas, a market every Saturday and a small local theatre. There is an eclectic mix of charming cafes, bars, shops and restaurants to relax in and enjoy.

Breathtaking views from the windows in the bedroom! Everything was very modern and finished to a higher standard! Looked like no one else had been there yet, think we were one of the first stay but you would never know as they were the perfect hosts! Quick to respond, such lovely people and knew some great spots to eat which is always important to me :) (if you stay, you must try Fillmore and Union in town for breakfast which was perfect for vegans and meat lovers and only a few minutes walk from here) a walk around the Minster is an absolute must. It has a lovely homely feel (this is my home when not in use as Air BnB, comes with everything you'll need.) Right in the heart of this beautiful town with a lovely garden. There are 2 double bedrooms, large kitchen with dining table, good sized cosy living room, bathroom & lovely walled garden outside. There are dvds to watch & games to play if you wish. I provide fresh bedding & towels, even shampoo & conditioner & whatever breakfast bits you prefer!
    Beverley is a beautiful market town with lots of good cafes, restaurants, pubs & shops. The famous Minster & St Marys churches are minutes away & my flat overlooks the fantastic market on Saturdays. Toll Gavel is a pedestrianised walkway with lots of unique shops which is 2 seconds from the front door. The Westwood borders the town for gorgeous walks from the doorstep & Wolds Way& cycling routes all nearby.

  • This two bedroom cottage is located very near to the train station. The lounge is cosy with a selection of books, DVDs and PS3 games. The kitchen is well stocked for self catering with a separate fridge and freezer. The downstairs shower in the wet room is hot with reasonable pressure. There is also a toilet in this room. The stairs up are pretty steep but this was fine for us. There is a double bedroom and a bunk bed room, which is en suite. Beds are comfortable. John organised a virtual parking permit for us to park on the road outside the house. It fills up quickly so we only managed this one out of three nights. There is a large pay and display car park next to the house that charges 8am to 6pm. At time of writing, parking for the day is £5.40. We put on two hours for two quid to take us to 10am. Overall, this was a perfect place for a break in beautiful Beverley. We visited Harrogate and York, and loved the vibe in Beverley: it feels like a very happy place. John's communication was great throughout. I would recommend this place for a family with young children.
