We loved our stay at Luis Alberto's apartment. It is new, very clean, and nicely decorated. Everything we needed was supplied. The apartment has a beautiful view overlooking a treed area. Best of all was Luis and Alejandra were excellent hosts! They responded very quickly to all our inquiries. They were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend staying at their lovely apartment. You won't find a better host.

Fully recommended the house. It is a beautiful house, cleaning maintenance, the rooms are spacious, comfortable bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. The view from rooms and terrace overlooking the sea is beautiful. The location is very comfortable for business travel and walks in the neighborhood, the groups go through the door. The hosts are very accessible, pairings and have maps and tourist information. Makes you want to go back!

Just to let you know it's a house with 5 bedrooms, without owners. It's more like an Hostel running by itself (dishes)... Anyway, the house is perfectly located, on the conception hill, with a lovely view from the bedroom and a very nice terrace (perfect for breakfast and moon rising).

Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The view to the ocean and the city is amazing. Very near the tourist center of the city yet far enough to not feel amid the noise and also enjoy the silence. Good public transportation. If I were to return to Valparaiso not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location and great views from the room and balcony, and a wonderful terrace. The best view while eating so included. The rooms are cozy and very clean, the bathrooms shared bathrooms also relatively clean it. The kitchen is just a communal kitchen and not the cleanest you by. We were very warmly welcomed by Maria and were able to ask for anything in the city. If you want to have some company the house of Maria and Lucia is perfect for discussing very nice people from all over the world and make music. Unbeatable is the location on the Plaza San Luis on Cerro Alegre above the colorful and absolutely safe neighborhood of Cerro Alegre. By bus (607) to drive the bus station there directly. Value for money Is Top just in relation to hostels.

The house is very well located, bus at the door. It is very comfortable with a terrace overlooking the bay. The rooms also. Maria Lucia and very reliable. Highly recommended!!!

We loved the house and the excellent location, very friendly host and smooth, the only but is that the piece was next to the kitchen and having several people living there, there was some some noise, but other than that we fell from place ... and we recommend it 100%

I was very well received in Claudio and Mario home. I arrived a few hours before the scheduled time, but readily received me and tidied my room. I was a few days, and the house is very beautiful and cozy. They care enough cleaning and organization. Great location in Cerro Alegre! Recommend!

Rooms near the street have a lot of traffic noise late into the night

The house is in a great central location, with shops, restaurant and cafes just around the corner. The bedroom I stayed in was very spacious and had 2 bulk beds with plenty of space for 4 people. The kitchen and toilet were also very well equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Mario was always on hand for any queries and needs I had. Overall, a very good place to stay if you are looking for a great location and a chilled environment.

The room was great - huge and with lots of furniture. The kitchen facilities looked good too, although I didn't do any cooking, and everywhere looked very clean. It's up a very steep hill and the nearest funicular was closed when I was there, but the next one wasn't too far away. Mario speaks fairly good English - useful as my Spanish is poor.

The apartment is in a really nice neighborhood. It is well equipped, clean and really pretty. Rodrigo is a really nic guy, nothing was a problem and the communication was really easy. If you are planning to explore Valparaiso, this is your best option where to stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDING!!!

The listing description was such that the very Buenos Aires neighborhood and with an incredible view of the harbor, not from the house but across the street. Good place, very clean and with the necessary tools, including coffee, wonderful!

We had a very good stay a few days in the apartment of Rodrigo. He was as comfortable, as clean and as complete as we had seen in Chile accommodation in more than three months! 100% recommendable! Bathroom and very complete and modern kitchen. All prepared carefully. Rodrigo was very nice too. And the location is perfect to be pretty close to everything that can offer Valparaiso but also to be steps from the best view of the city and the port and at the same time to be fairly quiet at night.

The room was very comfortable resting fantastically well !! The location is very good, you can get everywhere on foot. The wi fi works very well and the house is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Pilar and Gustavo are very cool, great people. And the little America is a charm !! Hopefully we can return someday !!

Our brief stay at Pilars was exactly what we needed in Valparaiso it was authentic comfortable and unique to the city itself !

The room is like a very nice photo, with incredible views and very bright. As against it is just closed by a sliding door and is next to the kitchen so quite noisy. If we still had a great time there and they are really nice although there is either very little seen.

Located in a strategic place of the city, close to bars and the house of Pablo Neruda, which invites you to explore on foot. The hosts and reception are very friendly, and has many amenities that makes the house more welcoming, unless the marriage room is not well insulated, subtracting privacy and therefore some comfort.

The stay there was super nice, they helped us a lot to learn about interesting places and were welcomed in the best way! The location is super central to about 500 meters is the avenue Ecuador, located in the central part with vegetable fairs and provedurias and part is one of the streets that have pubs at night. A few blocks away there are bus stops to go valparsiso or go to Vina del Mar, Valparaiso also be found walking. Thanks again and greetings

This is a really nice place to stay in Valparaiso. Great location, nice and calm area but still very close to everything. It's a steep hill to get there but a little exercise is always good! We had trouble finding the place when we arrived, because it's 3 houses on the same address. A, B & C. We didn't know that so got a little stressed when A & B said that it wasn't there... after a while & some help from a neighbor we found C. We also didn't know that we had to turn on a heater to get hot water in the shower so we showers in ice cold water for a few days : / We don't speak Spanish and understand very little so that might have been the problem... Americas dad Gustavo lives really close to the house and he helped us a lot. He was such a sweetheart!!! He gave us tomatoes from he's little garden. He was amazing!! Thank you Gustavo. Internet is super fast!! Would recommend the place to everyone!

If you're looking for budget and a good location - this is probably a good bet. It isn't the cleanest and nicest room, but we didn't spend much time at the apartment. The bed is a twin size bed, so it really isn't a good fit for 2 even though the description says it is.

The accommodation was a bit basic (but will improve much soon) but Cristian received us very well! It's a great host.

The apartment is simple but has everything you need for a good stay. The private room has a night view of the hill, very nice. It is important to know that access by stairs, is not a very good idea to arrive with luggage, there is a nearby elevator but when I went was undergoing restoration, can be reached easier by bus, bus or taxi. Cristian is a host attentive and willing to advise and share. Thanks for everything!

Great value in an amazing location. Christian wasn't able to be there when we arrived, so he arranged for his neighbour to greet us with a beer :) Accommodation was basic, but exactly as described.

It is a nice flat with a great view in a quiet modern building. A bus goes directly from the street in front of it to the center of Valparaiso. Contact was nice and fast. Only contra was that the sheets in the bed where quite dirty, so that we used another sheet we found in the closet.

The apartment is very cute in a building with a doorman on the 25th floor. Great for 3 to 4 people but also has a swimming pool and communal gym. Only problem the lack of wifi in the room but it is present in a common area on the third floor. House in the complex to be recommended though to be the most central need to choose an accommodation in the most "hilly" because to get from the real center of the apartment must still take a taxi or uber! However hosts super nice, we had problems with the hot water and was immediately worried! Very positive!

Justin and Ludo are great hosts, very friendly and helpful, they know how to give you some space too. We felt very confortable in this old flat who can give you a real Chilean experience. The apartment is great, large and airy. The location is good, next to Paseo 21 de Mayo. The cat is an attraction in itself, a lot of fun. Justin left us totally at ease in the apartment and everything went very well.

Upon arrival I looked at the flat. In the kitchen, there was a cupboard with an AirBnB label on it, which I opened, to find rotting fruit with lots of flies. Since I'd been on the plane for 12 hours, I took a nap, to find the top sheet missing and crumbs in the bed. Sometimes the hot water worked, and other times it didn't. There was always a cloud of flies in the dining room, and rotting food and dirty dishes left out. The cat was very nice and deserved to have his litter box cleaned, which didn't happen in 10 days while I was there. Also, the cat had fleas, so I got bites on my feet too. On the last night I was there the cat got a bath to help kill the fleas. Many mornings I was awakened very early by the sound of the neighbor's car alarm going off. The alarm was very sensitive and went off when someone drove by quickly, or once when it rained hard. When Justin is smoking in his bedroom in the morning you can smell it clearly. The room is spacious. It's inexpensive. Those are the good points. I left two days before my stay was supposed to end.

The room is very cozy, with a great view and the nighborhood is really nice and quiet. Justin is a nice guy, but I recommend to take seriously his ´´ manifesto´´ about the dirt ( the one in the room description): the kitchen and the toilet are really dirty, they look like they have never been cleaned in months. Only recommended for very easy-going travellers who dosen´t care about these aspects when choosing a room / apartment. The cat ( chat) is great, we became very great friends wiith him during our short stay.

Justin was a great host. We had so many interesting conversations. The neighbourhood is full of character and it's cheap and easy to get the bus into the town. The view from his house is fantastic.

Tamara department is as it looks in the photos. It is spacious and very comfortable. It is well located, a few meters from the main bus lines and subway. A blocks from downtown Valparaiso, and access to the hills. As for communication, excellent, he contacted me before I arrived and explained in detail how to access the apartment and when you see something, he answered shortly. Tamara recommend accommodation!

The flat is modern, comfortable and well appointed. It's in a quiet and secure residential development with a lovely pool. (There's also a gym but we're on holiday!) It's only 10 minutes to the bars and restaurants of Cerro Alegre and there are plenty of small grocery shops nearby for essentials. If you can't face the uphill walk home then Valparaíso probably isn't for you. Cristian was the kindest and most generous host. We arrived after a long and fraught journey and he was very understanding and even drove us down to a local restaurant. He was really helpful throughout and gave us loads of info and recommendations about the city and surrounding area.

We loved everything about this place. The location is awesome, up on the hill with tons of murals, cafes and restaurants. The apartment is clean, well decorated and very safe as part of a gated community. Rodrigo checked us in and the arrival was very smooth. It was nice to have a full kitchen, living room and table to eat on as well as an outside space. Great and worked comfortably for 3 people as there's a futon downstairs. 5 stars!

Valparaiso was lovely to us. Cerro Alegre neighborhood combines culture, bohemian, art, music with good restaurants and bars for a coffee. Where to walk a captivating environment is perceived with visitors from many parts of the world, walking in a safe place. The loft was Cristian us very comfortable, cozy, surrounded by beautiful surroundings, and tastefully decorated. It has everything you need for an excellent stay. But the difference is marked Cristian with his interesting talk and kindness to show us how to move, not only in Valparaiso, but also in Viña and Reñaca. If Christian's place is available, book it. The loft space is great. Very modern and clean. A short walk to all the restaurants and sights in Valparaiso. Christian is great with communicating and even came over to check in on us and to see if we needed anything.
