This area is a wildlife haven and there is a very good chance you will spot red squirrels coming to feed on the bird table outside Lovely view of the woods and gorgeous sunsets. Strathdon in the winter can be harder to access if there is snow. Always check the weather when travelling (October-April). Nochty Studio |Strathdon |Cairngorms National Park

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.

McFarlane Lodge has an open planned lounge and dinning area. The comfortable lounge includes a wood burning stove, SmartTV and a large dining table. The kitchen includes dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a fridge/freezer. There are two bedrooms, one contains a double bed. The second room contains two queen beds. Towels are provided.
