Vashon Island Beach Cottage

A relaxing ferry trip from West Seattle or Fast Ferry from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private walk in cottage, right on the edge of the water. Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, BBQing, a forest hiking trail with sea and mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the cottage.

Carriage House - Spacious, Charming, and VIEWS!

The Carriage House is attached to the owner-occupied house by a shared wrap-around porch. As you'll see from the pictures, we are up on a hill overlooking Sinclair Inlet and the majestic Olympic Mountains. We are downtown Port Orchard, so restaurants and a myriad of cute shops are just steps away, as is the lovely waterfront. You'll have the house to yourself to relax in the serenity you deserve. You can get to and from Port Orchard by ferry from Seattle, so a getaway with no car is doable!

Westside Cabin

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

Seaside Modern Apartment

The Seaside Modern Apartment delivers true comfort in a spectacular waterfront setting. Occupying one story of a midcentury modern home, the 900 sq ft apartment provides outstanding views of the Sound, Olympic Mountains, magnificent sunsets, and sea life. Accommodations include a living/dining area, spacious master bedroom, sea view terrace with covered patio, KITCHENETTE (NOT A FULL KITCHEN), plus an additional guest room and access to the waterfront bulkhead area (NO BEACH ACCESS).

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Vashon View Cottage

Bright cozy studio cottage on the north end of Vashon. Puget Sound, Mount Baker and nature views. Newly renovated throughout with large deck to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and water views. Quiet neighborhood within 10-15min walking distance to and from the ferry (note there is an incline as we are on the hill above). Deer, hawks, eagles and more surround the property. Come enjoy a local jewel and experience small island living, just a 20 minute ferry ride away from Seattle!

Seaside Serenity Beach Getaway w/ kayaks & SUPs!

Escape to the serene shores of Driftwood Cove in Port Orchard with this charming two-bedroom beachfront bungalow. Nestled against the tranquil waters of the Puget Sound, this cottage offers the perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation and adventure! Enjoy the provided kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, campfire, propane firepit, BBQ, and incredible deck overlooking the ever-changing scenes of the Sound! You may even catch a glimpse of whales and other wildlife!

We are also close to Hwy 16, which takes you across Hood Canal to the Olympic Peninsula, for great day-trips to this spectacular part of the state. We are located across the from Banner Forest Heritage Park, a 636-acre wildlife preserve which included miles of biking and walking trails.
