Vashon Island Cottage

Enjoy peace and quiet at the Cottage at Useful Bear Farm. Great for families, couples, friends. Vashon has lots to offer year-round: hiking, biking, beaches, bird-watching, or just relax and unwind. Conveniently located near the north-end ferry and close to town with great shops and restaurants. Full kitchen, bathroom and living/dining room on the first floor. Upstairs is a large sleeping loft with a queen bed, trundle bed, and sofa bed. A portion of proceeds go to local housing programs.

Vashon Island Beach Cottage

A relaxing ferry trip from West Seattle or Fast Ferry from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private walk in cottage, right on the edge of the water. Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, BBQing, a forest hiking trail with sea and mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the cottage.

Just minutes from Downtown Port Orchard sits this adorable, stylish cottage perched over the Sinclair Inlet with breathtaking views to watch wildlife, Seattle ferries, and city views! Weather you stay local and explore downtown Port Orchard or catch the ferry to Seattle just 15 minutes from the house - You will surely find plenty to do in the area!

Westside Cabin

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Seaside Serenity Beach Getaway w/ kayaks & SUPs!

Escape to the serene shores of Driftwood Cove in Port Orchard with this charming two-bedroom beachfront bungalow. Nestled against the tranquil waters of the Puget Sound, this cottage offers the perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation and adventure!
