John was a great host. He was not at home at the time of our arrival, but made sure that we get into the room and everything was prepared. We met him the next morning, a very nice and welcoming guy! The room itself was very clean and cozy with a private bathroom. Bed was comfy and there was a TV with HBO programs. Next to the room is a spacious kitchen and living room, which we were also allowed to use. We were offered coffee in the morning and got a lot of tips, where we should spend the day. Thanks for that. We can highly recommend this room and would stay there again any time.

It was a beautiful room with a convenient private bathroom attached. He went above and beyond to make me feel welcome with a local magazine about Sarasota, a typed out information page including wifi password and how to use the TV. Also, he had a separate door for me to discretely come in and out of and lock behind me with a personalized code. I thought everything was amazing. He even offered to drive me to the grocery store when I mentioned wanting to go.

Elena's place is most wonderful and a great value. We enjoyed being a guest in her beautiful house and garden's. Thank you for being a outstanding hostess.

gorgeous spot; quaint & quiet. can walk across the road through Gulf & Bay and use their beach access, or a quick 3/5 minute drive/walk down to the public beach. five minutes from siesta village. public grills, tennis courts and pool right out the back door to the lanai. the bay is a three minute walk down through the back of the complex with a dock and nice views. everything is supplied but be prepared to get things like detergent, trash bags, paper towels, extra toilet paper etc. look around the place to see what you may or may not need. definitely recommend and definitely would stay here again!

Our three week stay at Francine's was memorable for so many reasons: the condo was beautifully appointed and very comfortable, location was excellent and there were lots of amenities. Cooking was fun in the high design kitchen with every pot,pan or utensil you could ever need. The king sized bed was soooo comfortable after a day outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather. Since the condo is conveniently located, long walks on the beach and sunset views became a daily routine. We also enjoyed the heated pool close to the condo and the exercise room. We hated leaving our home away from home and definitely plan to return another time.

We really enjoyed the house and the place overall. House is great and has everything you need. Francine has been very helpful in giving us all necessary information in a timely way. A beautiful white sand beach is only at around 800 meters from the house. If we come back to Siesta Key we'll rent this house again.

Very good location, and only a short drive to Siesta Key. Could walk to get ice cream at Abel's, which was fantastic! The pool's heater wasn't working when we arrived, but the hosts quickly had someone there to work on it. They were very quick with responding, and I'd certainly stay there again.

Everything was perfect! Perfect location... 20 minute walk or a 2 minute drive to the beach and restaurants. Also positioned equidistant between wonderful Casey Key (Nokomis Beach) to the south and Lido Beach to the north (and everything in between). Super clean, super convenient, & super comfortable... The apartment is in a great location, one mile from beautiful Siesta Beach 15 min walk or free parking) but also just 5 minutes walk to some great restaurants and a superb ice cream shop among the local shopping malls. Apartment is spacious, with protected outside seating area too and a cool (in both meanings...) pool. The lounge is comfortable and the TV incl Netflix well worth having. Bedroom and bathroom are fine if not immaculate, but comfortable and everything you need. Only criticism would be of the kitchen, which is rather tired and needs renewing to match the rest if the place. A nice personal welcome from Angelina too.

My wife and I stayed here for our two year anniversary and it was the best trip we've had since our honeymoon. Such a laid back place to stay and truly less than a mile from the beach! Such a nice break from the "east coast Florida vibe." Thanks Kimberly & Angela!

Place was perfect for what we were looking to do, get away for a few days to a great beach without spending a ton of money. We walked to beach every morning.

Will and Faith made our move into this cute and quaint studio an easy one. A unit that rivaled hotel rooms we had stayed at on previous trips to Sarasota. Park three steps from the door, no lobbies, restaurants, bars, or other guests...we could stop and go easily. Three blocks from Lido Beach and a 15 minute stroll to St. Armand's Circle made this the ideal location for us. Downtown Sarasota shopping and restaurants were but a 10 minute drive. Room enough for two with all the furnishings and amenities of your own home....including beach chairs! We would stay here again in a heartbeat if its just us two. A great place to take a break.

William and Faith keep me posted once arrival date came. The location was easy to find and we were pleased with the neighbors. They were very friendly and we felt at home. We are looking to return in May and this location will be at the top of our list.

This quiet apartment is within walking distance of a great nature preserve, and a very short drive to the beach or many shops in St. Armands or Sarasota. We loved our stay!

Everything was as described. My boyfriend and I had a very nice time. The beach was 2 mins away by car. We enjoyed the value this property provided. The hosts were so fast at responding to any questions we had and that was great. It was perfectly priced get away in a cozy and updated condo.

Lido is great.

Adorable little place with a lot of attention placed on decor. It was as if I stepped right into a room in my own house. The coastal/beach decor was very tasteful and looked like a room in my own house. As a matter of fact, I checked the tags on a few of the items so that I could find them later on the internet and buy them for my own house! The place is like brand new so everything was spic and span. I'm not sure we would have been comfortable with more than just the 2 of us in here, as it was a small studio but it was just as big as a regular hotel room (but with a full kitchen!). The walking distance to St. Armands was a little further than I thought, about 20-25 minute walk, so we just drove down there after the first time. We did have an issue while we were there and Will stayed on top of it. Although it didn't get fixed while we were there, it would not keep us from staying in this charming place again. Definitely recommend!

Dana's Driftwood Cottage exceeded all of my expectations! The cottage is spacious, open, airy and beachy. Dana provided all of the essentials, and even beach bags! It really is a wonderful place for a siesta away from it all! Dana was welcoming and easy to get in contact with, and she left information about the area and local sites. There was even a recommendation to a local restaurant, where we had the most wonderful dinner! We used Uber to get around, and it only cost about $7 to get from the cottage to the main strip on Siesta Key. And for the nights we stayed in, there was wifi and a Roku to watch TV, plus a killer DVD collection! We would absolutely stay again, and I hope to come back soon!

The accommodations were sparkling clean and charming… The neighborhood was lovely… The hosts were gracious and kind.

Great Host fast response time. Place was cute and clean very private. My only complaint is bed and pillows .Mattress was of low quality which kept us from sleeping much. Especially if you have back issues. Walk is farther then 5 mins from beach . I would return of new bed was out in .Very cute

Dana was available to walk us through the studio upon arrival; she gave us information about the local beaches. Dana had everything we needed for our stay in her place. The studio was perfect for our family and the location was fantastic. It was only about 10-20 minutes away from the local beaches which made it easy for us to go to the beach every day. We liked the privacy of the studio and the neighborhood was nice and quiet too. Very nice place!

Dana was an amazing host. Everything was just like described and much more. The studio is very private, spacious and has that fresh beach feeling. Very quite and safe neighborhood. Also there were parking space which was a big plus. Kitchen, everything you need from plates to plastic wrap and blender! :) besides that place is located in walking distance to great dining spots and the best ice cream we've ever had. It was our first airbnb experience and Dana took care of every question, direction and better value we had to know. The same was with the place, it will accommodate all your needs for relaxing vacation with the whitest beach, finest sand and amazing water. What's not to love? Susan's place is so perfect, we feel extremely lucky to have had this opportunity for our first of many visits to Siesta Key. The apartment is cozy, light, and easy to navigate with all that you need for easy meals in, laundry, 2 bathrooms, and a lovely lanai for morning coffee. The pool is right around the corner, so close and easy to get to. Many chairs and a nice comfortably heated pool that is clean and safe. There is a nice view of the marina from the lanai and the fitness room is small but very clean and perfect for our needs with a nice full dumbbell set and many pieces of cardio equipment. We rented a car for this trip, so the convenience of a parking space was great! We don't feel that we will need to rent a car again, though. The airport is about 40 minutes away, but you can get a taxi (Uber and Lyft too) to get you to the apartment. After that, the beach is literally across the street with private access and free chairs and umbrellas. We walked for miles on the beach as well for great exercise. The Siesta Breeze trolley bus is free and runs up and down the island on 20 minute rotation. This takes you up to the shops and restaurants north in Siesta Village as well as down to Turtle Beach Park, which is a beautiful beach with very different sand and a long, walkable beach with many more opportunities for seashell collecting. There are also other free ride (tip sponsored) ride services, and also Uber and Lyft may be available locally. There are plenty of restaurants within a 1.5 mile walking or biking distance to the apartment and lots of shops and bike rental as well within a very short walk. You cannot go wrong with this location, this apartment, and the beauty and convenience of Siesta Key.

The reception was positive. The location is very good, close to the beach. In the building there is the swimming pool. The environment is pleasant in the garden is a barbecue. The house is nice and welcoming, well equipped and clean.

Very clean and inviting home. Loved the scenic view of the lagoon. Easy beach access and great location just off the bridge. Kitchen was a little small but included all we needed. Quiet and cozy place. Very comfortable beds and lots of linens and beach towels.

The condo was just as described and very clean. The distance from the beach was a very short walk and access to the pool next to the beach was a huge plus! Looking forward to returning with my family again next year!

A very comfortable stay with a great view, just as the pictures suggest. The condo was quiet and restful and a quick walk to the gorgeous Siesta Key Beach. We appreciated the small but very functional gym. We had a wonderful vacation!

Coolest airbnb ever. It's like a surf museum, but owned by a real surfer who uses his museum piece boards for to surf and to teach others.

Rob's place was very close to everything you'll want to see and do at Siesta Key, and is on a secluded street as advertised. But it was not clean, and smelled musty and moldy, which made us very uncomfortable. Rob is a great guy, and if clutter and and a dirty house don't bother you, you'll be fine, and you'll enjoy his interesting tales of his travels.

Roberts place is the best bang for the buck in the area. 5-10 min walk to beach. Restaurants very close to his house. Free/tip taxi or free shuttle pickup is less than a 5 minute walk away. Robert was very informative of the area. If you are looking for something he can point you the right direction. Thanks Rob!

very nice place where breathes calm, beautiful place to recharge. We felt quickly at home, simple and generous host. He gave us advice as to the activities to do, where to eat as advice for our health. Location near the sea (on foot).

Rob's a nice guy who has good tips. Cleanliness, especially in the kitchen, however, leaves much to be desired.

We would stay here again if need be. Robert was great with communication and really easy going. The room was comfortable and loved his flexibility. I think our only issues were that the girl before us was allowed to leave late (6pm) and our bed wasn't made when we were able to get in the room. Even though we weren't expecting the ritz we kinda thought it would be clean and tidy upon entering the home and it wasn't. We thought the room was comfortable and the location was great. bathroom was clean.

This was the perfect spot to vacation. It was walking distance to a fantastic beach, great restaurants, a drug store, post office and a grocery store. There is even a shuttle up and down the key if you wish to venture elsewhere. Robert was incredibly friendly. He offered awesome recommendations on restaurants and even a state park to visit. It was great that Robert had a towels, a cooler and even an umbrella to use at the beach. I highly recommend staying here. The accommodations were exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Robert even has a fridge exclusively for his AirBnb guests. Would stay again!

Due to a traffic accident on I75 all the hotels within a 2 hr vicinity of the condo were booked. We called John to ask if we could check in a day early. He couldn't have been more gracious! He and his wife had the condo cleaned and ready for us when we arrived. Due to unforeseen circumstances the AC was out during our stay. They brought in extra fans to help. Our mother was traveling with us and flew home after the 2nd day because she couldn't take the heat and humidity in the condo, but again this was no reflection on John or his description of the condo. It was well furnished and even had a new sofa. I would add that perhaps due to the Murphy bed being directly located next to the double bed, there is no privacy unless you closed the doors and curtains, which we couldn't do because we needed the windows open. The condo is within walking distance to siesta key and entertainment, dining, and shopping are only a few miles away. We left well rested and had a wonderful experience. We would definitely stay here again and recommend with 5 stars!

John's unit was ideal for a couple. The unit is clean and tidy and very practical. The complex has a pool and tennis courts and the waterway is right on the lawns. The other residents were contented and friendly but not at all intrusive

We wanted a chance to explore Siesta Key and Sarasota and this was it! The resort was on a main road on Siesta Key and traffic took a little getting used to, but a small price to pay when you're near the #1 beach kn the US.

We had a wonderful week at Lilian's Island Oasis. We had all the comforts of home and felt like it was a perfect fit. The beach was very beautiful and an easy walk. Lilian provided everything we needed to enjoy our visit. She was a gracious hostess.

Lilian was the ultimate host. Every time I needed any advice on restaurants, travel or things to do she was extremely helpful. She makes you feel that you are right at home and provided everything that you would need. Her description of the location and her home were right to the point.

My husband and I booked Lily's Pad at the last minute and all arrangements went smoothly. Her home exceeded our expectations with a beautiful bedroom and separate private bathroom for our personal use and a spacious living room, dining room, kitchen and screened lanai which we shared with Lilian. She provides a wide assortment of breakfast choices and we took advantage of her kitchen to cook and enjoy several meals at home in the week we were there. Perfectly located a five minute walk from Florida's #1 beach and ten minutes from Siesta Village on a very quiet street. Lilian's attention to the smallest details turned a good vacation stay into a great experience. Fresh flowers in our room, champagne to toast the spectacular evening sunset, beach chairs, towels, umbrella and cooler, special treats (we share her dutch heritage), restaurant menus for eating in town and on and on. Most importantly, on several evenings we were able to enjoy her company over a glass of wine and learn of her very busy, interesting and varied life. In comparing our many bed and breakfast stays in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, this visit ranks right up there, and we thank Lilian for the experience and hope to stay again in the future. Super quiet neighborhood close to the water and town. Jim is very upbeat and helpful with suggestions and directions. Jim and his dog are both happy souls. We would stay here again!

Overall, we had a pleasant and enjoyable time visiting Siesta Key and being a guest in Jim's home. Jim is a kind and accommodating host. He even let us stay late throughout the day during our check out day. We were a bit disappointed about the amenities. The AirBNB description lists internet and wifi, but there was no internet connection available. Also, the pictures of the place show a pool that looks clean and swimable. Unfortunately, the pool was not clean. Other than that we had a great time.

Jim's place is a real gem! The room and the house is spacious and clean, and close to the beach. Jim is a great host who knows a lot about Siesta Key. I borrowed his bike and biked along the beach every day, one of the best thing I ever done. Thank you again Jim for letting me stay at your place! I truly recommend other people to stay with Jim's and get an authentic experience of Siesta Key.

I would recommend Jim's house to anyone going to Siesta Key that really wants a laid back, relaxing place to stay. He's right in the middle of Siesta Key village, It is only a 15 min walk to the shops, restaurants, bars, 5-7 min walk to the beach but still located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Jim makes you feel right at home, he's there if you need something but also stays low key so it feels like you have the house to yourself. I didn't realize until the last day that there wasn't a tv anywhere in site. If there was one thing I would add, it would be that and internet (not positive, but I don't think he has it). Obviously, this wasn't that important if I didn't notice it until the last day .... Jim is a great, interesting guy to talk to and I love playing with his very well behaved dog. We will definitely stay here again when we go back.....and we WILL go back, I miss it already!

I can only write in English. Jim (Jamie) was considerate, kind, and personally very interesting. The location is ideal for walks on the beach and for access to all major Sarasota sites. The community is charming, safe, peaceful. The Sun Garden Restaurant serves great breakfasts and lunches. We highly recommend this Airbnb location and are appreciative of the host.

This was our first ever AirBNB experience. We had heard mixed things from others. This place was absolutely awesome. Totally accommodating, in a quite neighborhood, nice people, super comfortable bed. So far as we could tell they thought of everything to make us comfortable and right at home!

M&M's airbnb was a great, comfortable space for us to enjoy our vacation. Even though the price was very affordable, they had everything we needed, and felt very homey and relaxed. The location was great, very close to siesta beach, and minutes from any stores and restaurants you might want to visit. Even with all the fun things to do in Sarasota, we still spent a few evenings coming home early and just relaxing, which should tell you how nice this space was!

We got in late but the instructions for getting in were very clear and the outside lighting was great, so that was no problem. The drive to the beach from their place is easy and they have everything you need for your beach day -- chairs, beach towels, beach blanket, beach bag, cooler bag...All in all a great visit. We will definitely stay here again if/when we return to Sarasota!

The pictures do not do this place justice. The space is much bigger than the pictures and has everything you need. It was a plus to have the kitchen and the washer/dryer. The location was perfect..very convenient to shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Loved that the unit has a pool and is within walking distance of the beach. The only negative was the unit beside had 4 cars, so parking was a little tight when they were here, but didn't detract from our overall experience. Loved the place and was an excellent value. Will definitely be back!

This is a fantastic location and the perfect place for two people to stay. The condo is clean and modern. Thomas and Anne provide beach chairs, umbrellas, buckets, etc. All the things that you don't want to hassle with if flying. My favorite part is the screened in patio that doesn't get very wet even in a tropical storm! I would definitely book with them again.

Wonderful, responsive hosts. The condo was very clean and in a great location. Within short walking distance of the beach, gas station, drug store, Big Water Fish Market & the Sniki Tiki. Can't wait to stay again!

We loved this house! It was perfect for what we needed. Loved having the outdoor shower and washing machine and dryer. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. This place exceeded our expectations!

We really enjoyed the location. It was convenient to a lot of stores and restaurants and easy to leave the Key to more shopping. It was nice to get up in morning and walk across the street for a newspaper and coffee. It was nice having both a front and a back patio so we could spend a lot of time put of doors.

Anne and Thomas provide the perfect place for a beach vacation. Included in the condo were beach chairs, rafts, beach umbrella...all the things you need! The home is clean, modern and comfortable. I will stay here again!
