  • Fantastic location and cleanliness and comfortable bed and heated tile floor in the bath... so comfortable and private. 10 out of 10!

  • This is a lovely space! It’s essentially a spacious studio, but plenty of space. Clean, comfortable, safe, and relatively quiet. Loved the thoughtfulness off the restaurant menu book, all the different books and guided about Seattle, not the touristy stuff but just interesting finds that people have collected. The space has lots of light, heated bathroom floors, heated towel rack, and the bed is probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I spent my days there hiking and visited Predators of the Heart (highly recommend), so it was a great space to come home to and chill.

  • Charming, quiet, price, and peaceful. Great escape.

  • Erik’s place and clean and stylish. A little studio, but feels bigger with tall ceilings, lots of windows and Erik’s thoughtful use of the space. Great location - safe, quiet, close to everything. Only issue we experienced was spotty WiFi — Erik was very responsive and helped us troubleshoot, but the WiFi was still a little unreliable with several “dead zones” in the space. Doesn’t look like this had been a major issue in the past, so might just be a glitch ran into. Not a dealbreaker - Just did some work in a local cafe instead off the Airbnb. There is a walled off garden space surrounding the Airbnb and it is beautiful, quiet and calm. Loved it! Erik was very friendly and gave us some great local tips since we are moving to the area soon. Very pleasant experience, good value for the money paid. ☺️

    Danielle2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Erik’s place was great! Very clean and welcoming. Close walking distance to cool restaurants and sights in the city. Erik was very responsive and helpful!

  • This cottage was by far greater than what I had expected! My husband and I first time to Seattle, I was obsessed with our little cottage! From the cute decorations , the little fireplace and a huge book collection! It was so quaint and cozy! The neighborhood was amazing, we took a walk every morning! Such a Perfect spot, we walked everywhere for a bit to eat of a fresh cup of coffee! Highly recommend this cottage!! Enjoyed our stay so much! Erik was a great host, so friendly and personable! He also had great recommendations for everything!

  • Having a off-road parking spot is a big deal in crowded Seattle. This cottage is a perfect spot for one or two people. The neighborhood is very quiet but you can hear airplanes flying over. I have sensitive hearing that keeps me awake so I always travel with wax air plugs this did the trick....we will stay here again

    Caroline2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Erik’s place is in a wonderful neighborhood. His cottage is very thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

  • Absolute gem in the Heart of Seattle! Regina and Ry are awesome!! The cottage was a little zen den that had the best energy! I never wanted to leave! Let’s not forget about the jacuzzi that was spotless and hot and hit the spot!!

    Emmely2020-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Wanted a nice place to go too for some rest and relaxation and this was the place. Regina was outstanding. She sent instructions on everything. There was no need to bother her for anything once I got there. There was more than enough towels, blankets, sheets, pillowcases etc. In fact I didn’t even see her until we got ready to leave. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the Seattle area

    Prince2020-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Regina welcomed me when I arrived and was very friendly and happy to have me. She showed me around and gave me my space. Just had a hit of trouble getting ahold of her with questions, but otherwise, I had a really great stay. The hot tub was just what I needed!

  • I had a lovely stay at Manuela's place. It was the perfect home away from home while I was looking for a more permanent place to stay in Seattle. I took full advantage of sunny days by working or eating lunch in the garden space, it was walking distance to restaurants and my favorite coffee shop (Fremont Coffee Co.), and was a short walk to the bus to get anywhere in the city. This is a perfect place to stay in Seattle! Thanks again, Manuela.

    Kari2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay!

    Ristine2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Manuela was very communicative. Loved the style of the decor. Very comfy! In a busy neighborhood, the security locks at the street gate and our apt door felt well thought out. I’d highly recommend.

    Sara2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Manuela, your Airbnb is fantastic. It is open and airy with cozy spaces to relax and a wonderful user-friendly kitchen. It’s also located in a great location. I was able to walk to and from my workshop in downtown Fremont quickly, and I felt safe returning to the Airbnb in the evenings. Absolutely perfect!

    Carrie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Manuela's place is steps away from some of the best dinning in Seattle. Not only that but you can easily bus or run on the city trail to go anywhere in town. The unit itself is stylish and clean. I felt at home instantly and loved staying in the cozy unit.

    Katie2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Manuela's home was a nicely decorated, sparkling clean, private place with fine touches. It had everything that we needed and it was the perfect location for us. We had a lovely stay and we would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay in the Fremont area.

    Szilvia2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable bed, many pillow choices, Roku TV that is fast and easy, many options to make coffee, pour over, press, and drip. Nice dark chocolate bar. The best is the heated floors. The apartment stays at a steady temperature. Lots of thought went into how it's put together.

Sleepless in Seattle? Not on this adorable houseboat right smack in the middle of all that Seattle has to offer. For adventurers who are looking for more of an experience than just a place to sleep, take this opportunity to have a classic Seattle houseboat all to yourself. This Westlake location is ideal for people who want to explore the city and cool neighborhoods nearby or for locals who just want a little getaway without the long drive.
This houseboat may be little, but it is oozing with charm and comfortably laid out. Big windows and bright spaces make it feel homey and quaint, a writer's and reader’s paradise! Or kick back, go retro and watch a good old fashioned DVD on the wall-mounted screen. In good weather, enjoy "The Nest" on top of the boat. It offers views of the Space Needle and Lake Union. Umbrellas and furniture make outdoor seating down below pleasant and protected during the rain! Enjoy the friendly neighbors you'll encounter on the dock. It's a real boat that's been adapted to a house so be prepared for living that is "boat sized" which means tiny but very clean boat bathroom and shower, narrow passageway and a unique bed that is technically a queen, but sleeps more like a full. Let the gentle rocking of the water lull you to sleep and remind you that you are on one of Seattle's coveted houseboats!
Westlake is uber-convenient to downtown Seattle, South Lake Union (Amazon and also some museums, boat tours, etc) the amazing Fremont arts district, and classic lovely Queen Anne Hill. See the notebook onboard for our suggestions in the area, or call!
  • Sugar Shack was a perfect getaway for me - a single woman. It was a cozy, comfortable and unique little boat. Everything I needed to cook for myself and stay in was there. Music, radio and DVDs are provided for entertainment. And I loved being right on a bike and walking path along the lake for afternoon exercise. It was very easy to get downtown if you'd like to sightsee.

    Colene2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Super cool and unique spot to stay. Everything is labeled which was very convenient. Enjoyed the viewing deck up top in the mornings or before settling down at night and the bed had a lot more room then expected. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, great hosts as well. Was quite the adventure and if were ever back in town we’d gladly stay again!

    Ricky2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Staying on the water may not be for everyone, but this little boat is adorable.

    Stuart2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • A truly delightful experience from beginning to end. Can’t recommend enough!

    Graham2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend this stay. The boat was incredibly clean with lots of information available throughout. For me, the best part is the location of the boat. We decided to not rent a car due to the proximity of the boat to the downtown area. We were able to wake up, drink a cup of coffee, grab breakfast and be a Pike Place Market all within just a couple of miles. The bed the is incredibly comfortable as well, so waking up and actually getting up was a bit difficult haha. The shower was a bit small but hey, it's a boat. It's all part of the adventure. Thank you Gretchen once again for the incredible accommodations.

    Jeremy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place, clean and had everything we needed. Uber to pikes place about $9 which was a great price. Spent the weekend relaxing and definitely would stay again!

    Alexa2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • There are a few houseboats you can rent in this area, but Gretchen's is particularly charming. The Sugar Shack has been beautifully maintained since 1946-- so don't expect a modern fiberglass yacht, this mostly wooden boat is worn to a smooth shine by years of use, kind of a hobit house of a boat. While it was very cold out, we were so comfy sleeping there and listening to the rain. My boyfriend who loves camping sleepily pointed out: it's like sleeping in a tent but with a bed and you don't have to fold it up wet. It really is a home away from home, complete with all the things you hope an AirBNB will have but often doesn't. A variety of tea and coffee (french press and pot), snacks in the fridge, extra towels, DVDs, lamps in all the right spots, individual curtains on each perfect bedroom window, and wonderful labels to help you sort yourself out. Gretchen was able to answer all our questions and accommodate our last minute booking. She graciously allowed us a late check out-- I wish we could have stayed a few more nights.

    Laura2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Gretchen was very helpful, the tips she provided in the binder were great and the house boat offered a very unique and comfortable experience.

Jicama has a more modern, spacious, comfortable style mixed with the curiosities unique of all houseboats. She is your home on the water. She is moored in beautiful South Lake Union with a killer vistas of the lake and downtown Seattle. Accommodates six for larger groups or families to enjoy kayaking the lake and checking out the float planes as they buzz on by. See my other Root Vegetable houseboats for rent in my profile. Ginger, Turnip, Carrot, Radish, and Jicama.
COVID19: We fully and thoroughly sterilize between every guest with bleach and sterilizing wipes on surfaces throughout the boat so please rest assured. Also, we, myself and the cleaning crew, have been hard hit by all the COVID cancellations and have dropped our prices significantly already to try and stay afloat, figuritively speaking. ;) As such, we really appreciate your business! Renting for Summer!! :) This houseboat is comfortable place with all you will need - for the adventurous and open eyed. See section "Other things of Note" to ensure you are fully on board with this experience. If you are, I am thrilled to have you stay on my boat. I love her and put a lot of care into owning her well. Full kitchen, living space with sleeper sofa and table, bathroom with hot shower and functioning toilet, wall heaters for cozy nights, 2 double size beds, and a double blow-up sleeper sofa. Comfortably accommodates 6 people. As for living on a boat, there is little like it, and I suggest you try it out. You might be looking at some shwanky pad as well, and that would be great, but this is a cool experience, a piece of Seattle history you should wear for a few days when you can. It's an opportunity to be around the mayhem that is water life during the day, and the peace and tranquility that floating can be at night. - 2 double loft beds - 1 full size blow-up sleeper sofa - Sleeps 6 on the above furniture pieces - 6 total overnight guests allowed - Full kitchen (refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, coffee maker, kitchen essentials) - Heated (3 wall heaters) - Full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) - Wireless Internet (can be spotty fyi) - Kid Friendly - Indoor and outdoor breakfast/eating nook - Deck and roof lounge area - Propane BBQ - Parking out front the marina office building at a cost of $1 per hour. Weekdays, it is free before 9 am and after 4 pm. Weekends are free as well. Note: due to guest parking passes being taken by guests repeatedly, they are no longer available. - (2) kayaks - first come, first serve. No reservations.
  • My family and I had an awesome experience!

  • If you are looking for a unique place, this is it! Right on Lake Union, perfect to discover a great area and have a great time on the water thanks to the kayaks.

Olympic Mountain and Ocean Views with ample afternoon sun. Look out the north window to see the Space Needle overhead. Olympic Sculpture Park, Public transportation and the grocery store are super walkable with a score of 95. Dine out to Seattle’s thousands of high end or eccentric restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes and eateries located just outside your front door. Come home to a spacious, ultra-functional studio with a retro-contemporary design concept, comfy queen bed, futon and dining table.
The Belltown neighborhood is amazing. Just a short walk to the Space Needle, Pike Place, Key Arena and downtown shops. There you find a multitude of classic Seattle restaurants and shops plus a host of new shops by a new generation. With relative proximity to downtown Seattle and other popular local neighborhoods, Belltown is a prime destination and location within the city.
  • Great place if you are looking for someplace to sleep for the night. View was quite nice and everything is walkable from the location. Street noise can sometimes be a little loud but when windows are closed it’s well insulated and you don’t hear much. Dario is also super responsive as there was a small issue with the building entry system (completely out of his control and kept me updated until it was resolved. I would definitely stay here again.

  • I was easily able to walk to Pike Place market, and all the great spots along the water. Although the spot doesn't have A/C (most places don't in Seattle), it was easy to open a window and let in the cool air each night.

    Andrew2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Clean place in a wonderful location. Rooftop view is great. We had to make use of the laundry facility and that was super easy. Note, the w/d only takes quarters or card. A 10 minute walk to the grocery store (Safeway). A 10 minute walk to some wonderful bars in Belltown. 7 minute walk to the Space Needle. Short drive to everywhere else. I would highly recommend staying here.

    Raymund2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and functional. We enjoyed our brief stay. No AC, but the climate is usually cool enough, and the windows open for a fresh breeze. Great view with nice rooftop sitting area.

  • Perfect location and awesome view. Loved this apartment and would book again!

    Melissa2019-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Would recommend if you're staying in Seattle. The price and location are great. Everything you need is there. Clean bed, good kitchen space, and the rooftop has an amazing view of the city. The place doesn't have a TV (I was fine with that because I don't go on vacation to stay in and watch TV) and the shower head isn't the best (not enough pressure). Other than what I mentioned above, can't recommend the place enough. Thank you Dario for hosting me!

    Ryan2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Sparkling clean and stylish, convinient location in belltown within walking distance of everything. Great space for couples. I recommend for work and/or lesuir.

    April2019-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • Place is clean and roof is REALLY nice with incredible view of bay and Space Needle. Only problem is there is no air conditioning and the windows open a weird way which didn't allow for much of a breeze. There was a tiny fan in the room which helped some but we had beautiful 80 degree weather during our trip which made sleeping at night horribly uncomfortable without A/C.

  • Very neat large place right in the heart of the city. The building is very old which I found to be pretty cool personally. 👍 The hosts were very responsive and the room was well furnished, clean, and had a nice large flatscreen.

  • Kevin’s place is wonderful! The bathtub was a big selling point for me. The ambience of the natural light and aesthetics were very calming. Would definitely come back!

    Ashley2020-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin's place was exactly what I needed. It had homey touches and he was quick to respond to my messages. Highly recommend!

  • Beautiful space, great location!

    Charissa2020-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • The location is perfect. I loved that we were able to walk everywhere very easily. Our flight was delayed and Kevin made himself available if we had issues on arrival knowing that we would be arriving at 3am. The Airbnb was very clean, not huge but perfect for our needs. We had the very basics for cooking. I was a little nervous about the elevator after reading reviews but we had no issues. It was noisy due to construction in the area, but that can’t be controlled.

    Claire2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Pros: perfect location, easy check in, communication with host. Cons: old building, construction noise at 7am, cramped bathroom. Good value for location, couldn’t imagine being in a better part of the city near the main attractions.

  • Beautiful place with a great view! Highly recommend Kathy’s place.

    Nia2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was a wonderful cozy place right behind Kathy and Dan's place. Our favorite touch was the heater that is positioned perfectly at the foot of the bed for those chilly Seattle nights. We enjoyed the view of the city skyline and Space Needle from our window. What a wonderful place to stay.

We at Emerald Stays welcome you to our modern and stylish vacation rental condo, in a brand new building located in the hip Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. The absolute best thing about this apartment is the location, located in Belltown, the residential neighborhood of Downtown. You will be steps away from the famous Pike Place Market, Puget Sound Waterfront, Seattle Aquarium & everything Downtown. The Space Needle & the rest of the Seattle Center are also within walking distance. You will also find some of Seattle's best restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars & lounges, just outside the building. With a Walkscore of 98 and transit score of 100, the building is a "Walker's Paradise". So you can skip renting a car. The Convention Center is just 15 mins walk away. You can also catch buses to all of Seattle from across the block and Zipcars are 3 blocks away. This condo’s location makes it ideal for both business and holiday travelers. Since the building just opened up in June 2013, everything is new, modern and stylish. As soon as you enter the building’s spacious, beautiful lobby, you will notice the well-equipped 24-hour gym to your left. At the first chance you get, take the elevator up to the rooftop deck and you will be treated to awesome views of downtown and the waterfront. The rooftop deck also has a comfortable lounging area and is fitted with BBQ grills. The apartment itself is a modern open one-bedroom with hardwood floors and excellent furnishings. The huge windows provide ample light and a spacious feel to the condo. We have furnished this place such that you will feel absolutely at home. Between the plush queen bed and futon (which unfolds to a full size bed), this apartment will comfortably accommodate 3 guests. Apart from the towels and linens already laid out, there are many more to spare in the closets. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances & is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, serve and enjoy a wonderful meal (How about taking the food upstairs and making a picnic out of it). We think Internet is a basic utility and provide dedicated high-speed Wifi. There is a 43-inch HDTV with complimentary Netflix. Please note, we do not provide Cable on the TV. The Roku box does provide you access to news and on-demand programming. There is also TV with cable in the common lounging space. Come live like Locals in one of the most premium buildings of Seattle! It is a No Smoking Building, so we will expect you to respect that. Parking : Parking in the building can be arranged ( based on availability) at $20 per day. Although if you are staying in the center of the city you don't need a car at all.
  • I had a pleasant stay at this place. I traveled with my family; my spouse and a son, and it was much more convenient that a hotel. Bedding was good, bathroom was clean and easy to use. At the same time, many basic things you find at home like a detergent are all well prepared. Will stay again if I get to visit Seattle.

Gaze out at an unforgettable view of the Space Needle from the open rooftop of this contemporary studio. This urban getaway is in a historic building, making excellent use of the space, with hardwood flooring, a clawfoot tub, and stylish furniture.
A cute studio with a bedroom nook that fits a queen bed, (bed has high quality pillows and 1200 thread count sheets!). High quality towels provided as well as bath gels, shampoo and conditioner. TiVoli blue tooth stereo and cable tv!
This studio is in the northwest area of Seattle. It is the most vibrant neighborhood in the city and is within walking distance of restaurants and classic local coffee houses.
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this location. The building is incredibly charming and feels like home. Matthew was a great host and very accommodating. Also, great with communication!

  • Great space for singles or couples in a great location in Capitol Hill - close to bars, shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Not to mention that VIEW from the rooftop - incredible. Highly recommend!

    Micah2020-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew’s apartment was super charming. Great eye for ambiance and lighting. Quiet, accessible location on the hill. Lovely vintage building. Rooftop access is a nice bonus. Just enough space for two. Parking is pretty impossible, so take public transit and Lyfts. As a resident of Capitol Hill, renting his place for my parents’ visit, I appreciated Matthew’s ability to make the space feel like it does to live in this neighborhood. Thank you!

Small Private room for 1 person on the 2nd floor of our apartment. We are an apartment within a house on Capitol Hill. A couple living used to living with roommates excited to welcome the world to our home! We are a good fit for budget travelers who are looking forward to interacting with locals and folks new to the area who enjoy shared living environments.
Hello! Our house is a couple blocks off broadway in the northern section of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The room is one of five bedrooms in our house. We have a cozy kitchen, bathroom and living room with lots of light! You can do laundry downstairs ($1 wash / $1 dry), and hang out in our lovely living room. Our house is the tall, dark and handsome type, height / weight proportionate, with a red brick exterior (if you're into that sort of thing). Good to know we are an older home, not a hotel so the aesthetics come with the territory. We're two blocks from Broadway, with a stupid amount of cool shit and buses within walking distance. You can get to the Pike/Pine nightlife in a short 10-minute walk. Broadway has transformed from its grungy gutter-punk needles-and-heroin 90s roots. Maklemore filmed a music video here last night. Sir Mix-A-Lot wrote "My Posse's on Broadway" about it. Pearl Jam came up with their name at B&O Espresso just down the block (RIP B&O – now moved to Ballard). We also live right by the library, and we've even been there a few times. The room has a lofted full sized bed that can accommodate one person. Best to check out the pictures to make sure it is a good fit for you! The ceiling is only a couple feet above the bed so it is a bit tight and will not suit everyone. We recommend the bed for those under 6 ft in height! We lofted the room to make use of the space in the small room as much as possible! There is a desk, chair and free standing closet in the room. The room faces west and is next to our kitchen. The room is just long wide enough to fit a full sized bed and frame, and long enough to fit the width of a full sized bed and the free standing closet in the photos. It is a small room! The wireless signal isn't the best in the room, so we encourage guests to use our living room for their lounging internet surfing needs! Please note if you fall asleep to netflix this room may not be a good fit! As we have multiple listings in this house as well as roommates and one bathroom we limit the overall number of guests in the house to 5 at one time. Be aware that our house is older, and feels very lived-in. The paint and furniture have blemishes, our carpets have stains that won't quit and our tile floor looks like it needs a mopping after a vigorous cleaning. We deep clean the house a couple times a week and do daily light cleaning. While our house shows it age, it will always be cleaned up and ready for guests! We appreciate our house for the location and the people. Our neighborhood can be challenging to park in and only street parking is available. You'll be staying with the two of us and a few other airbnb guests: Leah, 31: Leah has lived in the house for 4 years. Leah is a Midwest transplant who grew up in Michigan and spent a few years in Chicago before relocating to Seattle. Living with Leah is like summer camp. Her favorite moments in life are (1) when the power goes out (camping time!), (2) summer barbecues, and (3) when everyone wants to have a dance party. She's really good at people. Leah has several part time jobs that range from working as an ABA therapy assistant (therapy for youth with Autism), staff in a young adult shelter, Residential Advisor for High School International students in a dorm setting and driving with Lyft. Leah likes to keep busy and is often out of the house. You are most likely to see her around if you are at the house during late morning/early afternoon or get a ride from her! Andrew, 31: Andrew is new to the apartment as of Jan 2017. Andrew hails from Florida and has previously worked with homeless youth and young adults in Seattle area. Andrew works with International students in a dorm setting in the neighborhood. He also drives with Lyft and is aiming to head back to school to study nursing in spring 2017. He has a place in his heart for a well crafted computer game (including story line, coding and graphics) and has a series of mods for his favorite games he has created. Andrew also likes to lift weights to stay fit and gets really pumped when he gets new personal best when doing squats. Enjoy your stay in our home!
  • Great Capitol Hill classic. Love that the kitchen has everything for cooking. Location can't be beat.

    Chundong2019-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t beat the price! Also you have access to a full kitchen and a shared space. Free coffee provided!

  • Great stay. Very accommodating and friendly. Location is prime for cap hill and in a beautiful neighborhood. This room has a view of the olympics if not overcast, which is very nice. No cleaning fee so personal clean up is requested. The bunk was comfortable. I would stay here again.

    Rachel2019-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and really well thought out shared space. I was concerned about the loft bed, but it didn't feel small at all to me, and I'm 6'0". (It was a little cramped in the vertical direction, as described, but not a problem for me.) Given the price (so cheap!) I was honestly a bit surprised at how comfortable this Airbnb was.

    Trent2019-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place to stay during my week in Seattle. It was close to the light rail and within walking distance of a lot of things. Leah was really quick to reply and they were very accommodating, letting me leave my luggage there during the day I checked out until my evening flight.

    Stephanie2019-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • I was worried about the lofted bed since I am 6'2'', but it was spacious and cozy. An amazing value. I enjoyed having a common space to relax as well.

  • I found this AirBnB to be in the perfect North Seattle location. It felt so warm and cozy when I arrived. The space was super clean, and had everything I needed for my brief stay. The owners communicated promptly and clearly. I appreciated the parking, and the easy self check-in and check out. I did not meet the hosts, but it was nice to know that they were right upstairs if I had needed anything. Thank you so much!

  • Fern's place is clean, private and full of amenities. She responds promptly and is welcoming. The place was clean and nice. Guests have their own entrance with code so it's very private which is highly appreciated (especially for us introverts). There were a lot of amenities as well which rivals any hotel. I highly recommend staying at Fern's place.

The location was unmatched, walkable to everything downtown and steps from the waterfront path which was great for running. The host is very responsive and made the check in/check out a breeze. Highly recommended.

  • Enjoyed my stay, it was quiet and secure with great location.

    Dmitry2020-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • Chris’s place is cozy and close to everything. There’s a washer dryer which I hardly ever see in a studio, a great patio, comfortable bed with plenty of extra sheets / blankets (I change my sheets every 3 days or so), the shower gets very hot (big plus for me) and there were lots of towels (also a big plus). I’m admittedly pretty easy to please but everything here was ideal 🤙🏽

    Wesley2020-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • It's in a great location within walking distance to a lot of Seattle's most popular attractions. Note that there isn't a specific spot to park, so if you have a car just plan ahead to find a pay-to-park spot. Very clean apartment and very comfortable. Chris was prompt in responding to all my questions and the directions to get the key and find the room are very clear.

    Haley2020-03-13T00:00:00Z

    Brent2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • The very first thing that one notices when you enter this space is just how immaculately clean it is. Having stayed in several Airbnb's up till now this is one of the very first (hopefully not last) that I can honestly refer to as spotless. The check in is seamless and the location is better than I could have asked for. No suggestions for improvement at all from this happy vacationer. Special Note: Every time we finished up a night and looked up directions home my partner exclaimed "thank goodness we got a spot so convenient". That alone was worth the rental to be able to provide that level of comfort.

100% self-contained studio loft attached to main house overlooking small city park. Nothing is shared. 160 sq. foot 1st floor with kitchen (gas stove/full fridge) plus 140 sq ft loft bedroom climbed via ladder, plus full bath with washer/dryer. Fully furnished (linens/pans, etc). "Flexible" check-in means unit is ready by 1pm, or earlier if prior guests left early (you can drop off bags early). Late arrivals are fine. Check-out time is 12pm, or later if the next guests are arriving later.
While our house is 110 years old, this cottage is only 25, and was built by a contractor given the task of "creating the feel of a Vermont cabin." It is your own space, with private entry, and is separate from our other unit on Airbnb ("Private entrance and central"). Queen bed in loft. Through your windows you will see lots of trees, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and endless squirrels. Inside you will find art from our many travels, including India, Brazil, Mexico, Morocco, etc. We supply pots/pans/towels. Just bring your clothes. Two caveats: First, if you don't feel comfortable climbing a ladder to your bed, or climbing down a ladder in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, this is not the spot for you. Second, while the first floor ceiling height is 7 feet, the upstairs loft ceiling is shaped like an "A-frame" roof, with the center being around 6 feet, sloping lower as you crawl into bed. Our first tenant of 7 years was a 6-foot female, who was quite content. Both her and our later tenant had regular-visiting boyfriends who seemed just fine without banging their heads. But, if you don't want to duck as you get into bed, this is not the spot for you. Two guests only - sorry, no extra guests. TV in unit has antenna for local channels. No cable channels.
"Madrona" is one of the most central/desired neighborhoods in Seattle. You can walk 45 minutes to downtown, or in the other direction to Lake Washington or in another direction to the vibrant Capitol Hill. Or take a 20-30 minute bus ride to each, or drive there in 10 minutes. Within a 10 minute walk you have access to a supermarket, roughly 15 restaurants, 2 coffee shops, and a bakery around the corner from our house.
  • Cozy space, great neighborhood, and excellent hosts! Would return in the future!

    Brian2020-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very cute self contained cabin (which happens to be attached to the house.) It has a sweet kitchen and sitting area with a roomy sleeping loft. Andrea left us some delicious home baked pastries which we devoured upon arrival. We enjoyed walking and eating in the neighborhood and only regret we didn't have another day and night to explore.

    Susie2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Phil and Andrea's space was fantastic! Clean, cozy, conveniently located, well-priced, and highly recommended. A+!

    Christopher2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Phil and Andrea were wonderful hosts. They were welcoming and provided lots of great tips for local places to visit. Andrea treated us to some of his amazing baking! The suite was cozy and decorated with lots of interesting art pieces from around the world. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I found the bed very comfortable and the suite was quiet.

    Laurie2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great hosts, great location! Definitely recommend!

    Michael2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Phil and Andrea's place was a perfect retreat with great touches throughout. I loved the artwork and plants that surrounded the property, and the location was perfect for cruising around the city.

  • The was easily the best Airbnb we've stayed at. The hosts were amazing, and the location was perfect. Cozy little cottage that was perfect for my wife and me.

  • Phil and Andrea were warm, welcoming, and great communicators. The space was adorable and cozy--perfect for a couple needing a haven from the city. Andrea also provided delicious baked goods, and the walls are covered in art from all over the world! Highly recommend!

Voted as a Top 10 coolest AirBnB rental in Seattle by Curbed Magazine! My houseboat includes an amazing location, a beautiful interior, a kayak to explore Lake Union, and much more! We have completed the rooftop deck that adds amazing views . It’s a perfect spot to relax or host others and enjoy a meal or a drink while taking in the scenery. *2 Night Minimum. Please message us if you need less. There are issues on Airbnb with selecting dates so if you have issues please message us too.
There's a lot that makes this a great place to stay. It's such a relaxing place to be. You'll love laying on the bed or the couch and looking out onto the water as you slowly realize you are floating! There's custom bamboo flooring as well as a custom kitchen. For entertainment there's a 40 inch mounted TV with Netflix accounts ready to go. There's also WiFi and surround sound speakers for movies or connecting to your smart phone/computer for music through Bluetooth. Another great perk is taking the kayak out from your deck to go adventuring on Lake Union. Lake Union has many restaurants, parks, and fun destinations that are close by. Please note there is an outdoor Arlo camera (can be turned off remotely during your stay, just message us) The Alro is pointed outside at the front door for security purposes. It does not see inside. That is the only camera and there are NO cameras inside or any other places.
This is such a prime spot. You are a short walk from the fastest growing spot in Seattle, South Lake Union. It's home to Amazon and many other tech companies along with restaurants, bars, and other amenities. You are about a 20 minute walk to The Space Needle and Seattle Center. You will be less than 5 minutes from Wallingford, University District, the Space Needle and Fremont. Less than 10 minutes to Downtown, both the sports stadiums, Belltown, and Ballard. It's a great location that has a very unique feel, friendly people on the dock and a exciting neighborhood to explore.
  • I have dreamed of staying on a houseboat for the entire 3 years I have lived in Seattle and it was everything I thought it would be and more. The location is amazing, great views and great walk ability to other places. The houseboat itself was perfect for 2 guests- there was plenty of room and the rooftop deck was my favorite part. Everything was very clean and it was a perfect stay.

    Taylor2020-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time staying here! Spent all day exploring the lake in the kayak, and then took in the sunset on the rooftop.

  • Y’all are amazing! Such a great experience the kayak are more then perfect, we couldn’t of asked for a better birthday weekend, I wish you guys the best and hopefully we can get this boat again soon❤️

  • This spot is awesome! Definitely the relaxing stay-cation we needed. For out-of-towners, if you want to get a taste of the Seattle houseboat life, you would love this! Neighbors are very friendly, and the rooftop deck is such an amazing addition to the houseboat. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Large, Light, and Bright, newly remodeled daylight basement suite. All carpeted, with large bedroom, kitchenette (sink, fridge, coffee maker, microwave, but no stove), and large living room space. Work desk, dining table, laundry & 50" smart TV with Prime Video. Includes parking for 1 car in driveway, with additional (free) on-street parking available. Great space for business people that need to spread out, keep organized, and get some work done. Simple, clean, & lots of space.
I try to keep the apartment like a hotel room, clean and simple, with just the things you'll need, and open space for you to spread out.
Quiet neighborhood. Mostly houses, but there's a couple restaurants and a coffee shop just a block away.
  • Nice location, an easy walk to Columbia City. We got in and out just before the Covid-19 pandemic and think fondly of our little vacation now. We hope Seattle stays safe and stays home.

  • Amazing place at an amazing price!

    John2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Robert's place is close to the airport and rental car center, this was very convenient. There is a Safeway and a PCC within 5 miles of his place. Moo I was able to workout at the indoor pool, Rainer Beach, about 7 minutes away. The rail line is 5 minutes away as well so if you are going to Westlake Center or Pike Place Market you do not have to drive and then look for parking downtown. Having a dedicated parking space in front of his place was great as well. Robert was very helpful and responded quickly to questions, within minutes. Overall it suited my needs!

A private mini home just for you! Enjoy your own private deck and hot tub while staying in trendy Ballard. Way better than a hotel...you’ll feel right at home!
Enjoy your own private mini-home while exploring Seattle. Conveniently located just blocks from downtown Ballard and an easy 15 minute bus ride from downtown, this quaint yet roomy space is perfect for out of town guests and vacationers. The 250 square foot space enjoys its own deck space and a brand new hot tub. French doors open to a private outdoor sitting area just for you. It has a mini kitchen with a 2-burner stove with a mini fridge, microwave, sink and kitchen essentials. This includes cooking supplies like pans, plates, oil, salt and pepper etc. We also have a Keirig Coffee Maker with a generous supply of K-Cups, light snacks and other thoughtful touches. The bath includes a shower with on-demand water and a supply of toiletries and towels for your use. There is a storage closet in the bath for clothes and extra linens. If you are staying longer than three days, I will provide fresh towels and linens for you upon request. The bedroom loft is cozy and features a double size bed. The ladder up to the loft is custom-made to retract from the wall for easy access. When it is not in use, it slides flush to the wall to allow for more room in the living space. The space is "cozy" so if you are tall or have issues with smaller spaces the loft sleeping area may not be the right fit. You must be able to climb a short ladder to get up and down so please be mindful of this when booking. There is a couch which allows for an extra person to sleep in the unit if you wish. There is a blow up Twin bed in the ottoman in sitting area. I also have a portable crib that you are welcome to use. Just let me know. I'm pretty strict about maxing out at 3 guests. Children under 8 are not allowed in the loft area for safety-sake. This rental Includes cable tv with HBO and other fun channels as well as access to wireless Internet. The overall look and feel of the space is what I call, "Modern Nautical". Ballard is an old fishing town that has become the culinary hot spot of Seattle. The colors and lighting fixtures give homage to Ballard's history. There is plenty of free off-street parking and access to one of the best neighborhoods in Seattle is just a short walk away! There are quite a few quick service/family run (no chains) restaurants within a block from the house along with a great fruit stand and espresso shop. Grocery and drug stores are within 5-7 blocks away. The bus stop to a main arterial is a 1/2 block away. A great bakery is only 2 blocks away. This is a great location for those of you vacationing without a rental car. Pretty much anything you need is less than a 10-15 minute walk away. Even if you have a rental car, you can leave it parked and just explore all the fun stuff in Ballard! We look forward to meeting you! -Errin & Olivia
Ballard is a great neighborhood with tons of bars and little restaurants. Just ask me and I'm happy to share some of my faves.
  • The mini home was amazing beyond expectation. We felt so at peace.. like it was our own home away from home. Errin was always quick with responses and willing to answer any questions we had. Having such a kind host, helped ease my anxiety about being in a new state for my vacation!! Will definitely be back again I hope!! I also wanted to add that the little kitchenette and bathroom was absolutely perfect as well. Loved to sit on the deck in the morning with a hot cup of coffee from the Keurig!!

    Deborah2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Errin’s mini home was exactly what we expected! Cozy, modern, and just enough space for two of us. The hot tub was truly the highlight of our stay, and Errin was super quick to respond and so kind! Absolutely recommend this tiny home if traveling as a couple or alone!

Located in the heart of historic Pioneer Square, where local coffee shops and award-winning restaurants literally sit below you. Walking distance from Pike Place Market and downtown. Short cab ride to The Space Needle. 5min walk to waterfront and ferry terminal to Bainbridge & Vashon island. Guests 21yrs and up.
Respectable adult guests only. No pets, parties or smoking. Also, walking up and down the the fire escape is prohibited
I love the old brick buildings and romance of Pioneer Square. This is sort of where Seattle all began and it's so unique to any of the other Seattle neighborhoods. It used to be a more shady neighborhood but has recently become a rather shi-shi area, with several modern restaurants and apartments/condos. The vibe is adult, artistic, hip and friendly. There is a range of bars and restaurants from divey, to fancy fireplace and cocktails-- most of which boast exposed brick and high ceilings. Pioneer Square is also close to the sports stadiums so you can experience the high energy on game-days, of the game-goers. Also, near the water, it is a step away from the ferry terminals (including the Victoria Clipper-- routinely going to and from Canada for day trips). Basically, it is the greatest place to stay when visiting Seattle, whether it's your first time or routine visit.
  • This is a very stylish and comfortable place. The only complaint that I have is the need for a larger fan and the glass coffee table that we were frequently bumping into. Those things aside it is a great location and I will consider staying here again.

  • This apartment in the city was so charming! We loved the history of the place, the location and the thoughtful touches like DVDs, earplugs and tea. The bed was in great condition and hot water was plentiful. This place is right in the city which means it was noisy all night long. Also, be aware there are quite a few homeless people with mental illness in the area. I never felt unsafe, but I did feel heartsore for them. If you are looking for a gorgous, historical, stay IN the bustle of the city, this place is perfect. We are happy we stayed there for our anniversary ❤️

    Susan2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here during the week while in town for an event. The loft is very cozy, lights were on and ready for us when we got there. Communication was very quick too. Much better that staying in a hotel for sure!

Welcome to my little city apartment. I love this space, it's simple and works well for a reclusive get away, an exciting night on the town or a business trip for those tech industry travelers. We are right across the street from a a few restaurants, bars and Hotel Sorento and walkable to downtown, a few short blocks from Capitol Hill . . . really a location dream.
Open layout with a full bathroom. The kitchen is the perfect size for 2 and has all the basics including fresh local coffee. I am a minimalist and travel quite a bit so I try to keep my personal left in the apartment to a minimum.
Capitol Hill is vibrant, lively with endless choices of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, speakeasy, pinball arcade bar and other activities. Our building is located right in the middle of all the action and walking distance to just about anywhere you would want to go in downtown Seattle. We are in a great location if you are looking to go to Century Link Field, Safeco Field, Experience Music Project, Seattle Center, or Lake Union. We are also only a few blocks from the Seattle Convention Center. We love the people and the bustle of our neighborhood. Its also nice to have an apt. that does not let in the noise of the city. In addition to a grocery store about a 10 min walk away there are 2 nice convenience stores across the street.
  • This is a great place great host . I appreciate the hospitality. The only bad thing is pay to park . 20$;a day . But apartment was awesome

Right off of Yesler street. This space provides an open view of the city. Sleeps 2 people in a full bed. Property includes laundry mat and gym. Access to pool table, TV, and vending machine in the common area. Several blocks away there are convenient stores as well as Broadcast Coffee Shop and local bars.
The room has a standard bed, a full size fridge, a coffee maker, a desk & chair, and a private bathroom with a shower.
There isn't much of a neighborhood because the apartment is located right off of the sidewalk and you just enter straight into the courtyard.

  • I had the pleasure of staying at Sarah and Mark's for an extended stay (3 weeks). The place is beautiful and was spotless upon arrival. Lots of great amenities, especially considering I was staying longer term. I still felt like I had everything I needed. The bed is incredibly comfortable. So much so that I need to ask what mattress this is! Super pleased with the space and the stay, would highly recommend.

  • Good stay with Sarah and Mark. I was more unclear than I like to be regarding plans and they were accommodating. Sarah offered to pick up groceries. With social distancing encouraged during this time, the offer for assistance this way was appreciated although not needed. Beautiful parks are located nearby. The ceiling woodwork is pretty and the bed, comfy.

  • One of the best air bnb’s I’ve stayed at! It was spotless and so put together. The decor was fantastic and made the stay that much more cozy and felt like you were right at home. Both check in and check out were extremely easy. The hosts communicated very promptly and provided us with everything we needed for our stay. 10/10 would recommend staying here again!!

  • Super cute and quiet area. Close to everything.

  • Sarah and Mark’s place was so cute. I arrived after dark and appreciated that there were motion sensor lights illuminating my path to the apartment. The space is very well thought out!

  • Mark and Sarah have created the Perfect Airbnb Experience. They have all the ingredients, location, personal and professional touch. Airbnb, take note! Bestow the Best in Class to these inn keepers and their property, they could provide training for your entire company. Nothing short of uncompromising excellent travel experience. I will return soon and often.

  • Super friendly and accommodative host! Would definitely stay again!

    Jerome2020-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely loved staying at Karen’s place. It was super cozy and was decorated perfectly. She left us beers from a local brewery which was thoughtful. Also she had a cute book that gave us information about the place, it’s amenities, and local places to eat. The only thing I can think of mentioning is if you plan on staying here I highly recommend renting a car because it’s about a 15 minute drive outside of the city. Street parking here is free and easy. Can’t wait to stay here again!

    Alexis2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful spot. Private, quiet, unique with wonderful styling and fixtures. Would definitely stay again.

    Tommy2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Truly a home away from home - I walked in and the first thing I thought was “I could live here”. Tons of street parking, cozy space with lots of light, lovingly decorated with style, exceptionally clean, and a serene bathroom pleasing to the eye. Lovely one night stay in an easily accessible to everything area in Seattle.

    Maria2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's guest home was perfect for our stay. It was clean, private, and had very thoughtful touches that made it feel authentically Pacific Northwest. Karen was a very accommodating and responsive host. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

    Joe2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Karen’s place is great! There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the space. It’s in a quiet neighborhood but still close to many great spots. I was travelling alone and felt safe. Would definitely recommmend!

    Pamela2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • I was traveling alone, the community felt safe. Karen was communicative and made me feel welcomed with extra touches like a handwritten note and beverages in the fridge. This was the most stylish home I have stayed in on AirbNb and look forward to coming again. It made me inspired to buy a home and decorate with such character. You can take Karen takes pride in letting guests stay in her space. Thank you Karen!

    Melissa2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • I think all the other glowing reviews state it well: this place is great. Super cute, super clean, super easy. Everything was close and the neighborhood felt very safe (we like walking/biking to spots > Lyfting and the walk to Walrus and Carpenter/ NW Market St felt safe) Bonus: my travel partner is 6'3" and loved that the shower head was high enough for him. This spot, though a studio, feels large and accommodates a tall person very well. 10/10 would recommend.

  • This place was awesome, I didn't want to leave. Everything I could possibly want was provided and in abundance. Thank you

  • Charly & Linnea's place was great! Hosts were super flexible and welcoming. The place was well laid out for both a short term and long term stay. Arrival was super easy and the place was spotless. Within walking distance are a few restaurants and coffee shops, with the rest of the Seattle being a quick car ride away. Would definitely recommend a stay to anyone!

  • Great place!

    Patti2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy and clean space. Great location! Easy access to Green Lake, Fremont, Wallingford, Ballard, the U District, Queen Anne, downtown... basically everywhere I wanted to go. We enjoyed our stay here!

    Kerry2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed staying at Charly and Linnea’s place. A very well-designed space with the keypad on the door, so very easy access. They were also responsive in their communications. No wonder their place is usually booked! Fortunate to have found it :)

  • This is a apartment style stay with the city of Seattle nearby. You will not be disappointed with your time here

    Ray2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I are in our 50's and 60's, and this was our very first Airbnb experience. Let me first say, that Charly and Linnea are top-notch, first-class hosts and people! The location of this Airbnb is right next to a neighborhood bar (and Hawaiian restaurant) with the parking lot right on the other side. I am a light sleeper, and I usually need earplugs (primarily for hubby's snoring). So, I was a little concerned about the possibility of late-night bar noise and traffic. However, after reading all the other reviews about how quiet it was - I decided to book. The bar noise was non-existent, and indeed it was extremely quiet. Because you are in a basement apartment - there is noise from above, as there would be if you were staying with friends or family. But, this noise is infrequent and completely acceptable and understandable. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and cozy. I think it was the absolute best solid week of sleep I have ever had while traveling!! Of course, we walked ourselves silly every day - so, falling into a comfortable bed was easy. The bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed - and nothing we didn't! The chocolates and mineral water were lovely touches, as well as the homemade gingerbread cookies (thank you, Linnea)! Throughout the apartment are original carvings from Charly and beautiful collages from Linnea, and this really made the Airbnb unique and homey. Because we stayed in January, we didn't get to experience the fullness of the garden. I would imagine, though, it would be spectacular in the spring and summer. However, the front path to the stairs down was filled with fragrant hedges and rhododendron bushes. Birds abounded everywhere! And we would advise packing some peanuts for the resident squirrel, who might just come right inside the door (if you're not careful!). Next time we come back to visit our former state, I would definitely book here again. For the money, the privacy, the space and the quiet - there is absolutely NO motel/hotel that will ever compare to Charly & Linnea's! (And, yes, I am talking to you frugal but adventurous travelers out there!) Many thanks to you, Charly and Linnea, for making our first experience and excellent one. You have definitely earned the designation Superhost!

    Jill2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect choice for my short stay in Seattle. Charly & Linnea’s place is clean, centrally located, and easy to access. I enjoyed the flexibility of self-check in and check-out, and having a quiet space to return to after long days of conferencing. I would highly recommend!

A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house. It has a 3/4 bath (shower). The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis covered with roses and grape vines set in an English Garden. Also, see our equally nice "Victorian in the Heart of Ballard" rental: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928
A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house with separate access and a 3/4 (meaning shower but no bathtub) bathroom. The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis on the south side covered with roses, grape vines, and wisteria and is surrounded by an English Garden. The pictures posted should give you the right idea. (Alternative accommodation: We also have a really lovely rental space in the main house. See: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928 ) The cottage: there is a microwave, a small fridge, and an electric kettle for making coffee or tea. It offers considerable privacy if that is desired. The bed is queen-sized. Extra high-speed WiFi is also provided along with cable TV, including all of the premium channels. It is also possible to close some giant wood-paneled pocket doors if you want to divide the studio into a bedroom and sitting room, if case someone wants to sleep and someone else does not. The cottage is used as a studio by Liz (who is the English gardener) when it is not being used as a guest house. So there is a lot of (really excellent) art, mostly studies in the human form, on the walls and shelves. (If you would like a cast of one of the statues, talk to Liz.) The Ballard Neighborhood is a great place to visit: *10 minute walk to downtown Ballard with fabulous bars and restaurants, great Sunday farmers market, nice three-screen cinema, and much more. *5 minute walk to the Ballard Locks, where ships enter and exit Puget Sound from Seattle waterways. *10 minute drive to downtown Seattle. Buses also run regularly downtown from close by - either to downtown Seattle or to the University District and elsewhere. Evenings are very quiet here and the air quality is unusually good for a city. We get a fresh sea breeze off of Puget Sound in the early evening. Guests find the cottage a calming and refreshing refuge from the bustle of the city.
Ballard is a fantastic destination neighborhood for restaurants and bars and music. We are an easy walk (5-10 minutes) from downtown Ballard. Great breakfast places even closer.
  • I enjoyed drinking tea next to the window each morning and having the most comfortable night’s sleep! Perfect place for us and felt like home!

    Jewels2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Would highly recommend this location to anybody! The cottage is tucked away behind the house and very comfortable with beautiful art all over. Such a good deal that exceeded my expectations.

  • We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Brad & Liz's place. It's a cute cabin, and it's fun sleeping in a space full of fabulous art. The location couldn't have been better for our event in Ballard (and for Ballard, in general). Check-in and check-out was super easy, and street parking was convenient/available.

    Nancy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

  • This place is a cozy artist studio behind the main house. Plenty of space for 1 or 2 people and very quiet and private. I was there for an event in Ballard so for me the location was perfect; just a few block walk.

  • Great location near Ravenna park and green lake. Due to covid, not as bustling as usual, but I was in Seattle helping a relative and thus I totally appreciated less traffic! The space was ideal for 1-2 people and great to unwind in. I did use the space heaters and heated blanket and kept toasty. Kitchen very well stocked. I’d recommend space, neighborhood and Lars.

  • Lars is a wonderful person and his place was so comfortable and cozy. It was perfectly what I needed and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I looked forward to coming "home" each day after work. His kitchen is fully + thoughtfully stocked and I was able to cook various meals for myself, which is so nice when traveling. I loved the variety of teas + little chocolates he provided. The place is nice and warm even in Seattle winter, with two heaters and a bed with an electric blanket. There is also a radio that's tuned to a station that plays classical music (24/7 it seems), which was pleasant to play in the mornings + evenings. I recommend Lars' place. It's a treat and he's a joyful spirit.
