The Heart of Marguerite in Menat

"Le Coeur de Marguerite" has been converted into a cottage in the heart of the Combrailles in an old barn. On the ground floor you will find a pleasant living space with access to the kitchen area and the bathroom, upstairs, a sleeping area with beds in alcoves. This accommodation is close to the Sioule (at the bottom of the property), the Queuille meander, Châteauneuf-les-Bains and its thermal baths, Vulcania in the Chaine des Puys and many other possibilities for visits and activities.

In Châteauneuf-Les-Bains on the banks of the Sioule, one of the cleanest rivers in France, is our Gite de Grands Rochers. Nature plays the leading role in this unforgettable accommodation. Here is peace and space with a beautiful view over the river. The cottage is 32 m2, spread over two floors. Downstairs, the kitchen with dining area and a seating area with comfortable chairs and TV, French doors to a lovely terrace with stone BBQ. Upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom with toilet.

In the Sioule Gorges, about 500 meters from the river. Quiet, in its green setting. No neighbors nearby. The cottage is independent of the owners' home. It is an old house tastefully renovated: parquet, exposed stones, exposed framework. Beautiful view. It has a covered terrace, access to the (unheated) swimming pool from June to September. The sauna (wood-fired) is accessible all year round and promises you perfect moments of relaxation.

Bonjour and a warm welcome to you! :) We are Sandra and Roy, two young Germans who settled in the green heart of France at the end of 2020. We speak a little French, English and our native language, German. We invite you to discover the calm and magic of our new home. At our place, you'll find a rustic veggie garden and free-roaming animals like two nice pigs, lovely chickens, ducks, rabbits, and our two cats, named Panthera and Chaudchat.

Rider's Blue Gîte

In a peaceful hamlet, surrounded by wild and unspoiled nature, 2 km from Gour de Tazenat and located 10 minutes from the junction of highways A 71 and A 89. Within a 40 km radius you can go to Vulcania, Puy de Lemptégy, Volvic springs, the stone house, Puy de Dôme and its Mercury temple. Walks in the Sioule Gorges with its history and heritage... etc. All outdoor activities: hiking, biking, motorbiking, swimming, canoeing, climbing...

Located in a peaceful setting in the heart of the countryside, you will stay in a 1960s house, completely renovated with a wooded garden. This property has three bedrooms (two double beds and two single beds). We provide duvets, pillows and bath towels. SHEETS ARE NOT PROVIDED. If you wish to have sheets provided, an additional €5 per bed will be requested (dimensions indicated after booking).

In the heart of a listed village, the house is ideal for a stay with family or friends, ideally located to enjoy the shops and the river! It accommodates 6 to 8 people. A fully enclosed courtyard for BBQ and sunbathing! It allows you to enjoy the beautiful days. You get a private location for your car. Bicycles are available!
