A rare opportunity to stay in a huge first floor period apartment in one of England's most beautiful cities. Beautifully restored by us and with easy access to the city centre and countryside beyond. Free on-street parking and a space saved for you on request.
Ready
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: We are open and able to offer the perfect place for social distancing, working from home or just different 4 walls. Rates are reduced and any cancellations are offered free to NHS front line staff. As we offer an entirely private apartment we are still able to offer a beautiful but rather different experience. Whether your holiday was cancelled or you wish to self isolate or work from another location or just sick of the same four walls. We can offer a car to apartment welcome and will greet you personally with a smile not a hand shake. Myself and Daniel clean and maintain the apartment personally to the highest standards and we use antibacterial treatments on all surface, particularly regularly touched areas. We are also laundering linen and towels at a high temperature of 90c. Hand wash is provided as always The apartment has Netflix/Tv and fast broadband suitable working from home or just play. The kitchen has all you need and a supermarket is literally 5 mins walk away. If you decide to venture out on foot, beautiful and quiet countryside and canal walks are just 5 mins away As we speak Bath and attractions and most restaurants and pubs remain open and should be lovely and quiet for once. This may change but the delivery services in Bath will happily bring the best local restaurant to your door. (We have an intercom so can be left at the door)
  • The flat is gorgeous. It’s bright & airy and well equipped. It’s only a short walk from nice restaurants and is well located for exploring the sights of Bath. Daniel was very friendly & helpful & met us on arrival and showed us around. Thank you Daniel! We will be back!

  • Great apartment, well looked after and stocked with everyone you’ll need. Lovely comfortable couple of nights in Bath

  • Daniel and Anna's place is a perfect place for a base to explore Bath. Daniel met us upon check-in and showed us round the beautiful stylish house. Breakfast Infront of those massive windows was a great start to each day. Would stay again :)

  • If you're lucky enough to find it available, book it! Communication was perfect, Daniel is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The flat is simply perfect and spotless. Shower is great, bed is comfortable, living room incredible. We had parking and they even let us park after our booking was over. We were late to free up the parking space but Daniel being a great dude was understanding. The flat is close to everything (15 min walk to center) and there are great pubs around. The view is amazing. Possibly the best Airbnb experience we had so far and we've been using it for 4 years. Book it now!

  • Daniel and Anna's apartment is a stunning space! It's in a great location well tucked away from the crowdedness of the town centre, situated in a lovely local neighbourhood with easy access to shops, bars, restaurants and also the more secluded areas. We enjoyed walking everywhere from here and waking up to the spectacular view over the fields everyday. The apartment has wonderful period features, natural light throughout and is spacious, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It has all the amenities you could need and is decorated with many thoughtful touches. The hospitality was exceptional - we felt so welcomed and enjoyed having great chats with Daniel. All the local tips made our stay even more memorable! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and special getaway to Bath.

    Faaria2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was just as lovely as the pictures suggested and Daniel and Anna provided much appreciated additional details including reserving a parking spot, and that amazing bread - thanks!! It's a brilliant starting point to explore all Bath has to offer and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk to the city centre each morning and afternoon, getting to know the area. It's a beautiful city, even in the stormy rain(!), and we are really looking forward to staying here again in the future and perhaps walking into the countryside as Daniel suggested. We would heartily recommend staying here!

    Sophie2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful apartment set in an ideal location. Daniel and Anna were great hosts with lots of local knowledge. Would definitely return to Bath and stay here again.

  • My boyfriend and I were just looking for a quiet night away and this cottage was perfect for that. The space was lovely and cosy, and was very easy to relax in. The price was very affordable for a one night stay. Both Tony and Theresa were lovely to talk to and communication was great. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice getaway whilst also being in a great location.

  • Lovely place, we had a great stay. Fantastic kitchen, with everything you could need. Bed lovely, only downside was that the bathroom and shower were quite small. Overall, we really enjoyed it. :)

Enjoy this cosy, self contained countryside studio six miles south of Bath. Stay in splendid isolation with guaranteed privacy. Plenty of countryside walks with just the company of the birds and spring flowers. Situated in a quiet rural hamlet within easy reach, by car or public transport, of Bath, Wells, Bristol, Stonehenge and many National Trust properties. Perfect for country walks and the heritage city of Bath.
This is a lovely cosy studio room, in our large garden. Guests have their own private entrance. The Garden Room is beautifully furnished with an extremely comfortable king sized bed. There is plenty of heating for the winter months. The kitchen area has a fridge, microwave, single induction plate, toaster and kettle. You also have your own shower room. The Garden Room has its own broadband and a library of DVDs and books. Bed linen, towels, tea towels, iron and a hair dryer are all provided. There is a heated towel rail in the shower room and a thermostatic heater in the main room. **Special Offers - January to early April** - Book two or more nights from Sunday to Thursday for just £50 per night (minimum two nights).
The Garden Room is set in lovely countryside but within easy reach of a multitude of attractions. Your morning call will be bird song! Two minutes walk down the lane will take you to Camerton woods, which in May is full of bluebells and wild garlic. Webbs Cottage is set in the hamlet of New Buildings (it was new in the mid 1800s) and consists of a cluster of stone built ex-miners cottages. It is tucked away in a valley but just a short walk from the busy village of Peasedown St John, which has shops, pubs and a post office and frequent bus services to Bath. Theatres, restaurants and bars are available in Bath (6 miles:10 km) and Bristol (14 miles) if you feel like trying the night life but the Garden Room is situated in a quiet country location.
  • Well thought out accomodation in a beautiful setting. Accurate and up to date communication received from the hosts. Definitely recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Bath.

    Carole2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay in the garden room. Everything was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Tony and Jane provided some breakfast items too which was very thoughtful. The garden is beautiful and in a very peaceful area.

    Steph2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place and located a short drive from Bath. Easy to find and you won’t be disappointed. Would definitely recommend.

    Paul2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice, clean and quiet tiny house close to Bath. The Garden Room has everything that is necessary including a really nice and beautiful kitchen. It was very clean and Tony and Jane were really helpful and answered to question within minutes. Thank you for the weekend, we would come back in case we are in Bath again.

    Linda2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic stay! Lots of extra touches to make the stay special and a great location.

    Charlotte2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a lovely spot. It feels secluded and yet an easy walk into the village with various places to eat and shop. The room was lovely and a perfect size for two! It was lovely and warm despite the storm outside. There is a perfectly sized little kitchen with microwave, fridge and hot plate. We would highly recommend!

    Sarah2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at the Garden Room, it was perfect for our needs and had everything we needed. Everything was nice and clean, in good condition and well maintained and the special little touches and extras were much appreciated, especially the welcome pack which included milk, bread, ceraals, and even a little pot of ground coffee! The WIFI worked well too! The Garden Room is in a great location and made travelling into Bath very easy. We took the bus in everyday, which meant we could have a few drinks and not worry about driving, the buses are pretty frequent (four an hour) and it only cost us £7 each for a return ticket each day. Which isn't much more than the park and ride and much less hassle, you still have to drive! There are also a couple of small supermarkets and some take-away places in Peasedown St John, so you can always pick up any provisions you need without travelling too far if yiou fancy a lazy day. Tony and Jane made us very welcome when we arrived and their communication before and during our stay was good, quick responses, polite and very helpful. We'd definitely recommend the Garden Room to others. John and Jan

  • Lovely place, out of the way so it's quiet and dark at night. Loads of extras at the room. Nice and warm and nobody bothers you. Own entrance to use. Seating outside is great in good weather. Would recommend to everyone.

We self built the Little Trooper in 2017 with the intention of achieving a unique, fun and comfortable oasis hid away up a private road in the middle of the City giving a holiday feel to escape the fast pace of City life. The house has 3 bedrooms that sleeps up to 9 adults and is intended to cater for large families visiting our beautiful city. I think the pictures say it all really and as you will see the house is kitted out with all the extras and luxuries to please everyone.
The area has lots to offer without having to jump into a car. The local newly refurbished pub is just 50m away and has live entertainment most weekends. 100m away is the nature reserve-Troopers Hill, this is well known locally for being one of the best viewpoints of the City. A 10 minute walk will get you to the local high st, here you will find a great selection of pubs, cafes and great restaurants. A 20 Minute walk gets you to an amazing hid away riverside bar Beeses tea gardens, the problem is that its on the opposite side of the river.. however get this.. they operate there own small boat that will pick you up and take you to the bar and then take you back for a fee of 50 pence!! this is a must see if the sun is shinning!!
  • First Airbnb trip and I don't regret it at all. Will most likely stay there again in future!!

  • Richard's home housed our party of 7 comfortably. The home was also extremely clean. Would definitely recommend to any groups needing a place just outside Bristol.

    James2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely house with great little touches. Clean, modern and spacious. Richard was friendly and the overall stay was very pleasant.

    Sam2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Richard was a lovely host who was very helpful and polite. Upon arrival the house was spotless. We also appreciated a few extra details Richard had made like fresh flowers, champagne, chocolates ect... Richard clearly made a lovely effort and really went the extra mile. The house itself is amazing, very modern and a lot bigger in person. We really appreciate the hard work that’s been put into the house. Not a bad word to say. Thank you very much for our stay.

    Connor2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing for family to reconnect

    Susan2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house, clean, plenty of space, exactly as we’d hoped for. Really enjoyable stay, would highly recommend.

    Amanda2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house is absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of space for all while still feeling cosy and warm. Despite being in a residential area the house and parking area are very safe and private which means the hot tub can be used properly! We were a party of 5 and we had more than enough room. Richard had provided a number of lovely touches like chocolate/ Prosecco on arrival, use of the coffee machine and a number of games available to play in the cupboard. We also loved making use of the fire. Will definitely return if we are visiting Bristol/ Bath again! :)

Little Orchard is a beautiful Bath stone building which was once the potting sheds and outbuildings for The Orchard. It is a large airy space with a huge cosy bed, woodburner, bath and kitchen area. A perfect retreat 20 minutes from Bath! There are no hidden cleaning fees with this listing - the price is as listed plus the AirBNB booking fee. *****in these times where we need our health professionals and workers more than ever I will give a 25% discount to anyone who works for the NHS *****
The Space Little Orchard was converted from what were originally gardeners' potting sheds and outbuildings. It is separate from our house, across our gravelled driveway. It has changed greatly over 200 years and is now a large airy barn style room with a separate bathroom with bath and shower over. There is a small kitchen area with breakfast bar, sink, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle and all you need to make breakfast or simple meals. There is also an electric one ring hotplate for crispy bacon or fried eggs! ***Please note there is no oven******If you would like a welcome pack we can provide cereal, croissants, juice and other breakfast basics for two people at an additional cost of £10. In the main room there is a zip and link super king-sized bed which can be split into two singles. We have a travel cot for small visitors, and can provide fold up beds for small children although floor space is quite limited. The space is not really suitable for 3 adults unless you are all very friendly! There is a lovely woodburner, and we provide logs and kindling. Little Orchard has its own entrance and off road parking space so you can come and go as you wish. There is an outdoor seating area for al fresco breakfasts, and a rustic seat outside the front door. There is a television, DVD player and wi-fi. There is also a bookcase full of books for cosy evenings by the fire. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are all provided. I also provide tea, coffee, and milk. There are two fitted thermostatically controlled electric convector heaters in the main room, a fan heater and heated towel rail in the bathroom and the woodburner. NB You can book for one night apart from Fridays and Saturdays when there is a 2 night minimum stay.
The Neighbourhood Little Orchard is set in lovely countryside but within easy reach of a multitude of attractions. You will wake up to the birds singing, and we are situated in a Conservation Area. Bathford is built on Roman remains, it is known as 'the walled village', and in the woods at the top of the lane you can find the remains of the stone quarries that supplied Bath with its beautiful stone. There are some lovely walks from the cottage, and lots of pubs and cafes to visit. One of our favourites is the Mill at Bathampton, by the river. You can get a boat from here into Bath as well in the season. Check the Pulteney Princess for times and cost. There are two pubs in the village - one at the bottom - the Crown Inn - and one at the top. The village shop is open 7 days a week and is a co-operative run by people who live in the village. It has a cafe, and stocks a good range of basics as well as fresh bread and croissants and local produce. There are two golf courses within 3 miles - Kingsdown Golf Club and Cumberwell Golf Club. You can walk down into the valley and in half an hour you will be walking on the Kennet and Avon canal at Bathampton. On most weekends and during the week in school holidays there is a lovely canal boat which serves cakes, sandwiches and coffee, or you can walk or cycle along to the Dundas Aqueduct at Limpley Stoke and hire a boat. You can also hire old 1920's and 30's restored wooden rowing boats and punts at Bathampton Mill and at the Bath Boathouse. There are also two lovely pubs in Bathampton - The Mill on the river and The George on the canal. We are just outside Bath to the East with views from the village of Little Solsbury Hill - Peter Gabriel lives near here and it was where he wrote his famous song! In Bath you are spoilt for choice with the Roman Baths, the Pump Rooms, the Royal Crescent, the Circus, loads of theatres and restaurants, Bath rugby, Thermae spa - (a rooftop pool experience not to miss, especially at night) Christmas street market, gorgeous Georgian architecture. There are festivals all year round including the famous Mozartfest in November, the literature festival, Jane Austen festival and food festivals. The Music Festival is in May, the Christmas Market around the Abbey in November/December and too many others to mention. Shopping is a joy as there are lots of independent shops and Bath is a very self-contained city. You can also explore the surrounding area into Wiltshire and Somerset. Stonehenge is an easy day trip as are Wells, Salisbury, Tetbury and the Cotswolds and Bristol. The Hauser and Wirth gallery in Bruton with its famous Piet Oudulf garden is about 40 minutes away, and has a great restaurant and exhibitions. National Trust properties in the area include Stourhead, Dyrham Park, Lacock ( Harry Potter filmed here as well as lots of period dramas such as Cranford), Prior Park Gardens , The Courts at Holt, Great Chalfield Manor (some of Wolf Hall was filmed here), and Tyntesfield near Bristol. There are some great restaurants and lots of my guests go out to The Pig at Hunstrete which is just West of the Bath on the way to the Chew Valley Lakes. There is also the Michelin starred Pony and Trap in Chew Magna run by Josh and Holly Eggleton. The Gainsborough Hotel also has a Michelin star. Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa is 15 minutes away and also has a Michelin star, as well as a lovely spa and riding centre. A great veggie option is Acorn Kitchen for dinner, or the Green Rocket cafe for breakfast or lunch, also Chapel Arts who do lovely homemade flatbreads. If you are vegan try Beyond the Kale in Green Park Station, open during the daytime only, or Nourish on the London Road which is vegan and open for lunch and dinner. Corkage in Walcot Street, as recommended by Jay Rayner!, is a lovely wine bar with daily changing tapas plates. For a curry try the Eastern Eye in an amazing Georgian building, and for Thai, Koh Thai Tapas in Broad Street. The best Italian in Bath is the family run Martini on George Street. There are loads of independent cafes, my favourites are Society Cafe in Kingsmead Square, and the Walcot cafe in an old Bakery, with a club downstairs for dancing. I also love The Blue Quail deli on Pulteney Bridge, lots of lovely South African food and cakes. There are a couple of old Bath pubs you shouldn't miss. The Old Green Tree in Green Street, wood panelled and very cosy, The Star on The Paragon, no food just great beer, and The Bell on Walcot Street, bought by locals to save it from closing and a great live music venue. In Batheaston there is Gather - open Tuesday to Saturday, mostly vegetarian with lots of gluten free and great coffee and breakfasts/lunches. If you like cocktails you have to go to the Gin Bar, and The Dark Horse in Kingsmead Square. We have great theatres from the old and venerable Theatre Royal, to smaller places like the Rondo in Larkhall and The Mission Theatre. The best cinema is the Little Theatre by the Spa, there is a little bar and it has great atmosphere. On a weekend head to Green Park Station for the food market on Saturday mornings, and various vintage and antiques markets on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Absolutely lovely space with some amazing touches including a piece of brownie which was utterly delicious....

    Martin2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Had such a lovely weekend at the beautiful cottage. Such a cute space, nicely finished and in the perfect location. We got the bus and went on lovely walks to Bath city centre. 100% recommend.

  • Fantastic apartment which we would fully recommend to anyone. Facilities were great and perfectly clean, good connections into bath as well! Couldn’t fault it, Karen was very accommodating and helpful :) 10/10 would stay again.

  • Amazing place, hope to return very soon.

    Jon2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and could not have asked for anything better. The house was spotless and very stylish whilst still being very cosy (due to the wood burner that was already prepared for us). The fact that the house is not located in the centre of bath is no issue whatsoever as there are frequent busses from just outside the cottage and it only takes 20 minutes to reach the centre! The icing on the cake was discovering 2 delicious brownies which had been left for us when we arrived. Thank you Karen!

    Teo2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortably, self contained accommodation within easy travelling distance of Bath.

    Simon2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place to stay and just perfect for what we needed.

    Adam2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful gem tucked away and private. So cozy (log fire, books, games and DVDs) - perfect for relaxation and escaping from the demands of every day life. Super close to the centre of Bath for when you fancy getting out and about plus lovely countryside for walking! Couldn’t recommend more! Much much nicer than a hotel in the centre!

Our lovely studio flat is situated on the first floor of Rochfort Place, Bathwick Street, a beautiful Georgian Bath town house which dates back to the late 1700s. With the original floor to ceiling windows and wedding doors, it is a truly magnificent studio.
Rochfort Place is just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Bath with its fantastic shopping and restaurants. You can spend time in the many museums, Roman Baths, or relax in the modern thermae hot spa and stroll to the world famous Royal Crescent. It is short 3 minute walk from Great Pultney Street and the Holburne Museum located in the stunning Sydney Gardens with the picturesque Kennett and Avon canal running through it. You can hire bikes, boats - the options are endless. The National Trust Prior Park Gardens are easily accessible. We have the Theatre Royal which has a varied programme and worth seeing what is on during your stay. The terrace which leads directly from the kitchen is a wonderful place to sit and reflect on your stay in Bath. Bath Spa train station is only a 15 minute walk through the city centre which provides hourly trains to London in 90 minutes and regular trains to the City of Bristol in 10 minutes. Modern comforts include a bathroom, a self-catered kitchen, wi-fi, a television and speakers. A rarity for a flat in central Bath, our studio has outdoor space which consists of a private balcony with table and chairs. Due to the balcony and safety, the apartment is not suitable for children/ toddlers - babe in arms only. There is plenty of street parking available and you will be given a permit for your car on arrival if required. We provide all bedding, towels, hairdryer etc to make your stay comfortable - a home from home. Although you are spoilt for choice with shops and facilities on your doorstep there is a welcome basket of a few things to get you started. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

This private bedroom is one of 3 guest rooms within an indoor courtyard (atrium), all set in a self built Eco house, surrounded by woods, scrap, art and artists, workshops, walks, etc...if you are in need of creative inspiration or encouragement , or you just want a quiet couple of nights in the country.. That's us!! 10 miles from Bath and Bristol. Close to Glastonbury, Wells, Stonehenge.
What makes it unique ? Well, what doesn't!! First of all I would suggest reading some of our reviews. We are very proud to have over 600 reviews across our 3 listings, and you won’t find many that are unhappy :-). There are probably not many places like this (in England at least)... It's more like a West Coast USA house as seen in Lloyd Khans amazing books (look him up). This is our own self-built eco house set in 5 or 6 acres of its own land. The house itself is in a private area, but within the grounds of the property there are many other spaces including a therapy suite ( you can book separately for massage, acupuncture, hypnotherapy etc) , workshops for metal and woodwork, recording and rehearsal studio, a part time vegan cafe, a huge and eclectic collection of obscure artefacts from aeroplanes to gypsy caravans, and anything in between!! It is also home to upwards of 20 other people who are engaged in work with circus/ festivals and events management. There is an early stage forest garden , solar hot water and electric and more being added daily. There is always something new at Rockaway! If you're looking for somewhere fastidiously neat and tidy or you're scared of spiders it's probably not for you , but if you like what you see, we'd love to have you here ....,( although of course we do our best to keep it neat and tidy, I am just trying to put off over- fussy guests :-) We like to think we understand the ethos of Airbnb and the desire to change the world for the better by encouraging conversation and the sharing of ideas. We have found the whole experience to be thoroughly rewarding and we hope you will too. Please note we have another (cheaper) room available in the house, with two single beds and a shared toilet, and also an apartment that can sleep 4 comfortably. We are able to accommodate extra people, so if you're traveling with kids or friends and think our listed rooms are too small to fit all of you, please enquire. Look forward to meeting you. Mark and Marta
The house is set in approx 6-7 acres of land part of which used to be a scrapyard and some of which we still run as such. There are woods and great walks very close by and good bus connections for Bristol, Bath, Wells and Glastonbury. We are about half a mile from the village of Temple Cloud in a secluded, redundant stone quarry. There are mature oak trees all around the house and the site. We still run a van dismantling business from the adjacent yard and help out from time to time with artistic projects involving scrap, including photography, film and video projects. If you're looking for inspiration or looking to meet people to help further your ideas and plans , we may be able to point you in the right direction or hook you up with the right people... I'm hoping that the B and B will just help to make further and far reaching connections and not just be a soulless interaction... Of course though we are just as happy for people to come and just chill. Tourist attractions in the area include: Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury Tor, Roman Baths, Wells Cathedral, Wooky Hole Caves, Bristol city and all it's attractions from amazing graffiti art to Brunel's architectural achievements.
  • A friendly welcome and a comfortable stay at an eccentric and amazing venue.

  • Marta and Mark are the most amazing hosts! Their home, which we shared for two nights, is exceptionally beautiful. We enjoyed every second of our stay and we left already planning for our next visit. This place is one of kind!

  • Amazing stay!!!! What a gem. Can't wait to come back

    Laura2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • From the first moment we felt home in this house. Everything was clean and of good quality. Even in winter time we never felt cold in our two rooms. Kitchen well equipped and good beds to sleep. Thank you!

    Adrian2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Marta’s house is the most unique place i have ever seen. You could spend an entire day just inside her house, unfortunately we were there only for a day and couldn’t spend as much time as we would have liked to. She made us a delicious breakfast and even invited us to eat with her. I highly recommend her house for anyone who is visiting bath or Bristol. Her house is a 20 min drive to either places. Will definitely look forward to staying at her house whenever we visit Bath again.

  • Very cool and off beat vibe with plenty of nature close by. Relax and the the location worked perfectly for me to do day trips to Glastonbury, Bristol and Cheddar. It was a fun stay. I also enjoyed chatting with some of the other guests that were staying there. It had a nice community sorta vibe.

  • I had this fantasy of living in a cozy attic room when I was younger. A window from where you can see breathe -taking view and sky full of stars, plies of books laying by the bedside, fairy lights and all. This place is exactly like that. I was so amazed and felt so blessed every morning waking up. The household is full of love and care too. The warm and homey atmosphere makes me feel safe and belonged. Even though Im a greedy human wanting to have the room just to be my room, O’well, I decided to be a bigger person and recommend it, highly!

  • A wonderful place to stay in Bath. Laura is an experienced and welcoming host. I felt at home. The location is great too, close to shops and a beautiful stroll to the city through parkland.

  • Laura is a great host! She is very friendly and communicative. She can give you helpful advises about the city and the region. The room and house is as written in the description. The time at Laura's place has been wonderful. I highly recommend her and would book her Airbnb again.

  • Laura is a wonderful host and made me feel at home right away. I’ll definitely stay with her again if I am back in Bath!

    Laura2019-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Laura is a great host and made me feel very welcome! I stayed in Bath for a number of weeks and felt at home during my stay, able to come and go as I pleased. It felt like staying with friends rather than a stranger. The attic room was lovely and had enough space to store my clothes and suitcases. This size is perfect for one person who can manage a flight of stairs. There were clean towels, sheets and toiletries all ready and waiting which was great to find after a long journey. Laura’s home is beautiful with touches of her own style in the decoration. The house was always cosy and warm with plenty of hot water, much appreciated after long walks in the snow. The house is a short 15 minute walk into the city centre (which was perfect for me) and is next door to Royal Victoria Park. Laura’s home offered a great place to call home during my time in Bath and I’d highly recommend her as a host. I will definitely be back!

Five mins level walk from Bath's major attractions including The Royal Crescent, Roman Baths, Pump Rooms and the Thermae Bath Spa, The Bath House offers boutique B&B accommodation in the heart of Georgian Bath. En-suite, stylishly decorated rooms with WiFi, SMART TVs, air conditioning, robes, iPod dock, hairdryer, mini fridge and hospitality trays. For added luxury, breakfast is served in the privacy of your own room. FREE on-site parking (a luxury in central Bath).
Being on the west side of the centre we're an easy level walk into town.
  • Kim's place was incredible! The couple that manages the property is absolutely delightful and works so hard to meet all of the guests' needs. This place feels and has the service of a 5-star luxury hotel. Great local tips. Wonderful breakfast. Very clean room, and amazing hospitality. Parking is very tight, so be prepared :) But it's available and free, which is great in this area!

    Natalie2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely place to stay. Sparkling clean, lots of thoughtful extras and it is truly just a 10-15 minute walk to just about anywhere in Central Bath. The room was amazingly quiet with no road noise and having free parking was a godsend. Highly recommended.

    Jenny2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Superb B&B in every way possible. Parking a boon!

    James2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Out of all my stays so far, this has been the most perfect one. You can tell that they have BnB experience. The room is gorgeous, the mattress was heaven and full English breakfast in my room included - what more could one ask for? It is next to a main road but with a small garden upfront - I didn’t hear any traffic at all. Also, it’s very close to the centre but without tourists running around, so I slept like a baby. I initially chose this place because it had free parking but my rental car was so bulky that the backyard was too much of a challenge for me, so I went for the public parking instead. I can recommend that as well - 6.50 gbp for 16 hours overnight with a pedestrian exit right next to the BnB parking.

    Dani2019-10-29T00:00:00Z

  • This is a great place to stay. There are little extra touches that make the stay special. Breakfast brought to your room at your chosen time makes a great start to the day and on site parking makes it hassle free. I would recommend Kim’s B&B as a definite place to stay when visiting Bath

    D2018-11-25T00:00:00Z

This cosy little room for one person has a fabulous view of the city and catches the early morning sunshine. Close to the city centre, public transport, nice walks in the countryside and by the river around Bath. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe with a good sense of community. It is about 40 minutes walk (depending on how fast you walk!), or a short bus ride into the centre of Bath. Also a variety of food shops 5 minutes walk away. Great if you’re looking for a comfy stay and quiet location.
The house is also occupied by one other person, my lodger, as well as me and my cat. I provide cereal, tea and coffee, for use in your room, but you will need to buy any other breakfast items you would like. Bed linen is clean and washed for every guest and dried on the line if the weather permits. However, I do feel life is too short to iron sheets! So if creases bother you, please be assured the sheets are very clean. Please note I have a cat, who is quite fluffy, so if you have a cat allergy, be aware of this. She will probably keep well out of your way, being slightly timid, unless you offer her some cat treats! In Twerton High St, 5 minutes walk away, there is a convenience store (open until 10pm) which has a cash machine inside.
Twerton is in some ways "the real Bath", where the ordinary citizens live. There’s a good sense of community and it’s very safe and quiet, whilst maybe not as beautiful as Georgian Bath’s city centre! It is however very convenient for the centre of town and has a wide range of food stores in walking distance. There are several very nice pub restaurants within a very short drive into the countryside if you preferred to eat out somewhere quieter than the many city centre venues. My garden backs onto Bath City Farm, which provides a pleasant green space to walk or run in.
  • Very nice place, with bus station at 5mn. Felicity can gives you good adress and is very welcoming.

  • Staying at Felicity's was great. She was very welcoming, as was her lodger. The room itself is perfectly fine for one person and offers everything one needs for a couple of nights, including coffee and tea. The entire house was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the area very quiet.

  • Felicity is a very thoughtful host- she upgraded my room to a double room and the bed is very soft and comfy. I stayed at hers for 10 days, absolutely amazing experience! The house is very close to supermarkets like lido, MS etc (within 10 mins walk) and 5mins walk to bus stop, another 10mins to the centre by bus. A very quiet cat called Mishka will also keep you in good company:)

    Xinyue2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was great! Felicity is really nice. We didnt meet her when we arrived but it wasn't problem at all, because she gave us all the instructions how to get to our room. Situated in a stunning location overlooking the River Avon, this fabulous house is sure to catch the eye of anyone wanting tranquil views and relaxing walks along the nearby river path. The property has been finished to a high standard with care and attention paid to the finer details. The house comprises off a wonderful, southerly facing open plan space that can be enjoyed whilst relaxing on sunny mornings taking in the view, as the full height feature windows create such a light airy space.
The large double bedroom with a private ensuite has an incredible rain shower and bath. We also can accommodate a third person with the sofa bed in the same room. The room is within an extremely large two bedroom house, in a superb location close to Bristol city centre, Cabot Circus, and is in the heart of St George right on the River Avon with spectacular views! The location benefits from zero city noise, at night the only noise you can hear is wildlife or the river water running. The rear of the house is glass from top to bottom, allowing you a full view of the surrounding river area, as well as full natural light filling all the back rooms. The property is also supplied by renewable energy sources from being solar powered! The price includes the following: Private Ensuite A free breakfast that includes cereal, bread, milk (Soya, Oat, Semi Skimmed) & crumpets. (We normally do have gluten free cereal options, but please inform us before hand just incase we have run out) Free allocated Parking (No searching for a space!) Clean Linen & 100% Cotton towels Toiletries A eco friendly footprint *Two Siberian Huskies do reside at this property* (If in doubt please do message us, they are the most two beautiful friendly souls on this planet! Though please do note, they are our main priority within this household, so always only book if you're comfortable around two such loving animals)
The property is situated on the River Avon, allowing you access to the public pathways that join to either Bristol & Bath. Locally we have a Co-op supermarket within a 10min walk along the river path open from 7am -11pm daily. Bus routes are within easy walking reach to the city centre, and the nearest train station is a 25 mins walk away. The area is rich in big outdoor spaces within easy reach, the nearest being a 5 minute walk. There's Trooper’s Hill Nature Reserve, and the path along the river that leads to the Eastwood Farm Nature Reserve, and of course Beese’s Riverside Bar.
  • A lovely place right on the river with two beautiful huskies! The city centre is a half an hour walk or a 12-min Uber. Sharing the space is easy for guests and Luke is very accommodating. The place is sparkling clean and the bedroom was set up nicely for three people. Would definitely stay here again if we're back in Bristol! Thank you so much for having us.

Our en-suite attic room is perfect for couples or single travellers who want to be close to Bath City Centre. The room is very light with lots of windows and views over the local area, with lovely Victorian terraces. The city centre is a 20 minute walk or a short bus journey away.
Our house is in the Oldfield Park area of Bath. There is a bustling row of local shops 2 minutes away with bars, cafes and plenty of local shops.
  • Had a great 3 night stay here! The room itself was spacious and really bright. I was surprised at the amount of local amenities in a residential area, the co-op round the corner and Indian a few minutes walk away were perfect for us. James and his family were great hosts, and I’d check his availability first if ever back in Bath. Also excellent value for money.

  • What a wonderful stay! They were very great and checkin and made sure we had everything we needed. (Even a few toys and books to borrow for our toddler!) Was very clean and comfortable with close access to grocery stores and the bus stop to get into town. We had an issue with the heater and they fixed it immediately for us and made sure we were comfortable.

A one bedroom, first floor apartment in a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse, located in a quiet cul-de-sac in central Bath - great value for money!!!
Overlooking the River Avon, the apartment consists of a double room, plus sofa bed in the lounge, a small, but fully fitted kitchen and a bathroom. The location is perfect for a city break for couples, a small family or group as it is just a stone's throw from all the sights and attractions that Bath has to offer.

  • Excellent location right in the heart of Bath. Spermarket and local Saturday market on the doorstep. 5 minutes walk to a range of pubs and restaurants. 10 minute easy walk to The Roman Baths, Spa Thermae, Bath Abbey, The River and the main shopping streets. With on street parking outside the flat we were able to abandon the car and explore the city on foot. The location was quite simply ideal. The flat is on the first floor and, despite the fact we were so close to the city, the area was calm and quiet. The flat was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend break. Olivia was friendly and helpful and responded to communications quickly and efficiently. We will return.

  • This is just the most PERFECT little apartment for a city-stay in Bath! Beautiful old building overlooking the river on a quiet cul-de-sac residential street, but just a quick cut-through to Sainsbury's and less than 10 mins walk into the very heart of the town. The apartment has been nicely refurbed and super clean and cosy. It has a wonderfully comfy double bed, great sofa, HUGE TV, well-equipped kitchenette and bathroom with a good shower with lots of thoughtful little extras provided. Best of all I loved how surprisingly QUIET it is, even though you are so close to the town! Olivia was a brilliant host and I really appreciated her super-quick responses to all my daft questions, and for her & David texting me to let me know I'd left my phone charger! Really excellent value and I'd love to come and stay here again.

Suitable for a couple, self contained studio annexe at rear of our house. Quietly situated yet convenient for local shops and pubs, buses and walks to Bath and country pub walks. Own parking, entrance, wi-fi (intermittent occasionally), heating, hot water and small courtyard. Includes hallway, king sized (queen) bed, bedside lights with USB chargers, en suite bathroom with walk in rainfall shower, kitchenette with small fridge, kettle and toaster, hanging rail, drawers, table and two chairs.
Our house is at the end of a long unlit paved drive which takes you down into a Cotswold valley, so you will see deer and pheasants and hear owls calling in the night. Yet it's only 15 minutes by bus (regular service until late) into Bath or you can walk to the station in 30 minutes. We have great pubs and shops nearby as well as many walks on our doorstep. Due to being in a valley, it's uphill to leave the property. There are five steps with a handrail down from the private parking area to the annexe, which are lit; the parking area and the entrance to the annexe are lit. Mobile phone reception inside the annexe can be poor. Wi-fi can be intermittent.
We are located in the Cotswolds AONB with peaceful views yet within 30 minutes walk of Bath Spa station. At the top of our drive is a footpath that you can use to easily reach our local free house pub, The Cross Keys or the famous community owned pub, The Packhorse in South Stoke. Or walk along it to the other end of Combe Down and the National Trust's Prior Park, to the start of Bath Skyline walk and access to the cycling and walking route through the mile long old train tunnels under Combe Down. We can recommend a number of country walks starting from the annexe out into Somerset.

  • Very nice house in a beautiful community with a great view all the way from the town center to the house (26 minutes from the house to the Roman Baths). If we didn't choose to live here we will miss some special sceneries of Bath.

    Lucian2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • The host is super nice and speaks Chinese directly! Self check-in, very convenient, and the surroundings are very quiet, just a little turn, easy to go to the wrong intersection (may be our two idiots) but the location is good, very close to the bus, the train station, take the bus directly to the Roman Bath , About ten minutes! The room is very clean, the things are complete, the toilet is clean, and the experience is very good (〃 ▽ 〃)

A quirky and comfortable double bedroom situated in a newly decorated and well equipped house just a fifteen minute walk away from the centre of Bath. This is one of four private rooms within the house. Situated in Oldfield park and very close to Oldfield Park Train Station and local buses, this is a perfect base for exploring Bath. There is a free car park just fifty metres from the property, or ample free on street parking in the roads surrounding us.
Four bedroom Victorian house retaining many period features. With an eclectic mix of individually furnished, quirky bedrooms and modern kitchen and bathroom. Stripped wooden floors in communal areas and 3 of the bedrooms with carpeted, snug attic room. Bright and airy and set over 3 floors. Easy off street parking. 200mb fibre optic broadband. Flat walk in to town (20 minutes walk/ 5 minutes taxi). 2 minutes walk to Oldfield Park Train Station (2 minutes to Bath Spa; 12 minutes to Bristol Temple Meads).
Oldfield Park is a rather bohemian area, containing a mix of professionals, students and young families. The house is situated a 5 minute walk from the popular Moorland Road - containing bars, restaurants, coffee shops, take away, banks, local shops and two small supermarkets. Oldfield Park Train Station is a two minute walk providing rail links to Bath Spa in the City Centre (2 minutes) and Bristol Temple Meads (12 minutes) in the centre of Bristol. The City Centre is a fifteen minute flat walk (less than 5 minutes in a taxi). Victoria Park and the Botanical Gardens are ten minutes away as well as a plethora or bars, restaurants, the Roman Baths, golf courses, Thermae Spa, cinema, The Theatre Royal and many other attractions. There is also a beautiful Two Tunnels walk to Midford through Linear park which is just five minutes from the house.
  • We only spent one night in one of the rooms in this accommodation, but everything was very nice. From the beginning, the communication was pleasant and smooth. The room is very nice and also offers you a good amount of privacy, if desired. We thought it even looked better than in the pictures and we felt very comfortable. The whole house is always kept clean and tidy. All in all a place where you can quickly feel at home during your stay. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a room in Bath!

  • Amazing, very very happy - beautiful place and close to the city centre 10/10 (:

    Sristi2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • We only stayed for one night, but everything was great. The location was good, only 20mins walk from the centre of town, with enough shops and food options nearby. We were able to park on the driveway, which was also convenient. The info booklet was also very helpful and was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, the linen smelled fresh and the kitchen was very well equipped. Even though the house is shared between people of 4 rooms, the seperate cupboards and fridge shelves made sharing extra easy. There was only one other couple when we were there. Would consider staying again, next time I'm in town.

  • Nina is a wonderful host. A lovely peaceful home with a lovely atmosphere and sparkling clean too. Everything I needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

    Cate2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Nina is charitable with her time and willing to give free advice. Her place is vegetarian only so no meat is allowed in the house. It was a comfortable stay! Thank you!

    Katie2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a fantastic place to stay for a night if you are travelling through Bath for a day or two! Nina is an excellent host and everything was exactly how I expected. I would highly recommend this air bnb to everyone :)

  • Nina is a wonderful host. I was in Bath on a training course and her home was the perfect place for me to regroup and recharge after a long day. I felt welcome and at ease right away and loved the decor too, thank you.

  • A short but sweet stay, a great place to rest my head following a busy day and before another. Nina was a great host, communication was brilliant and a really warm welcome. The room is comfy with a super cosy bed and the bathroom sparkling clean. A lovely touch to have the breakfast cereals and tea/coffee available in the morning.

    Anna2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely place to spend a night.

    Elaine2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Only stayed for a night, but it was lovely. Nina is a great host; she replies quickly and her instructions are very clear. The bed was comfy, and both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean.

    Doug2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • Nina is very attentive host, the space was clean, comfortable and stylish. I would absolutely recommend it! However, not too close to the city centre or university, the bus is always needed and sometimes it comes only every 20-30 minutes so that’s the only down side I faced but that’s obvious outside the host’s control.

Thanks to having a full kitchen (fairly well appointed, too), we were able to self-cater some meals and save a bit of money. I’d love to stay here again if I return to Bath!

  • Great hosts - very welcoming, accommodation looks just like it does on the photos in real life which is always a bonus. Comes with two fluffy friends who just want attention! Overall excellent and very clean and smart - great spec indeed. Definitely worth it if you are on a low budget and still want quality. Main train station and city centre a little far to walk to so would advise on maybe an Uber for transportation as it is around 13 minutes time wise. Would use again 100% :)

The Shepherds Hut is the ultimate romantic rural retreat for couples who are looking to get away from it all. Idyllically located looking out over the fields that line the River Avon and the beautiful rolling green hills beyond up to Kelston Round Hill– the Shepherds Hut is perfectly cosy and compact, offering a couple (+ 1 well-behaved dog*) all the comforts you would expect from bricks and mortar within a 20ft traditional shepherds hut, including a wood burner and outdoor hot tub!
INTRODUCTION *NOTE: 1 well-behaved dog is welcome at the Shepherds Hut at an additional cost of £30 per dog. Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog and we will then revise your booking confirmation. There are goats and chickens on the farm, so if you are up early enough, you can help yourself to some fresh eggs or wander around the stables. Once you have settled into your Avon Farm holiday cottage you can decide what you want to do, probably a mix of relaxing in your comfortable space and testing out the hot tub, enjoying the flora and fauna surrounding the farm and just soaking up the atmosphere. However, if you wish to explore you can walk around the estate and stroll along the Avon River to the local public house on the riverbank, or for the more active, you can hire a bicycle from Clive and Serena (pre-booking required) head down the cycle path, which was once the old train track, to either Bath or Bristol – only 2 minutes from your accommodation, how green is that? The Shepherds Hut has been designed efficiently to maximise space and provide everything that you will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The space is bright, airy and modern with a half glass-panel door and plenty of windows. Step up into the beautifully furnished main kitchenette/living area, and you will find your cosy double sleeping compartment at one end and surprisingly spacious shower room at the other. Every part of the hut has been created to maximise storage space, and within the various underbed or overhead cupboards you’ll find all manner of utensils – it’s all there! Guests have access to the 230 acres of land, which includes the River Avon, where you can do a spot of fishing (a licence is required). Take a walk through the farmland and you reach the local pub, which is situated on the bank of the river less than 1 mile away. The farm is also 2 minutes away from the Bristol and Bath cycle track, perfect for cyclists and walkers, and the property is close to Saltford Sailing Club. Surrounded by open countryside, Saltford is also known for its history and has a conservation area, with a restored brass mill (dating to 1720), an old manor house and a church with a Saxon tower. Just 6 miles away is the vibrant heritage city of Bath, which boasts the famous Roman baths, Thermae Bath spa, and the famous Royal Crescent, which is one of Bath’s most iconic landmarks. There are also several National Trust areas nearby, including Dyrham Park and Stourhead House. Hen parties are permitted; however, we ask that Avon Farm rules are respected (see below) and where possible members of the group travel together to avoid extra traffic on the farm lane. Avon Farm rules: respect the 10mph limit around the farm; keep to the 20mph limit on Avon Lane; no outside noise after 11pm; no hot tub use after 10pm; and lastly, please notify the owners if any outside services have been booked (e.g. a chef).   FACILITIES  Sleeps 2 in a double bed sleeping compartment  1 bathroom with walk-in shower, WC and washbasin  Parking  Gravelled immediate outdoor area and grass  Wood burner – 1 bag of logs, fire starter + lighter provided between Oct – April. Enjoying the Farm and its Facilities One of the biggest benefits about staying on a farm is there’s loads to see and do without even leaving the site, it’s great for families, friends and couples alike! Avon Farm Cottages have secured fishing rights for their stretch of the river, just a short walk from the holiday cottages. Guests are welcome to fish in the river, own equipment and licence required. Bicycles are available to hire from Clive and Serena. Please help yourselves to chicken eggs.  The chickens are beyond the car park through the opening onto the fields Not far from the chickens is a family of goats.  They like being fed vegetables, fruit, even bananas! Walk past the past the goats, follow the path down to the river and take a riverside walk either way along the public foot paths. The horses do not belong to the farm and are looked after by their owners who come daily to see them.  Please do not feed the horses, but they are always happy for a stroke on the nose and a hello. Next to the chickens is the poly tunnel, and when there is fresh produce, you’ll find some in your welcome pack, and can refill this when there is plenty. Feeling green fingered?  The grounds of the farm are always in need to something, so feel free to help us keep the farm looking lovely.  Whether that be a bit of weeding, dead heading, or just advice, we will welcome any help! All around this field are many blackberry bushes, please help yourselves when they are ripe. There are other tenants on the farm that either live with us in the converted barns, or just let a stable and field.  They are all very nice, and always happy to answer any questions! Local amenities Saltford is a vibrant community of more than 4,000 residents situated on the A4 between Keynsham and Bath, alongside the River Avon and the Bath-Bristol cycle-path. Its location makes Saltford the perfect hub for activities in the Avon Valley. The village is surrounded by open countryside, with lanes, riverside walks and lovely views across the Avon Valley. Saltford is widely known for its history, with the ‘old village’ lying within a Conservation Area and including St Mary’s Church (over 1,000 years old with a Saxon tower); Saltford Manor House, a Grade II listed building estimated to date to the Norman era and thought to be the oldest continuously occupied private house in England; and the restored Ancient Brass Mill (1720), which is a gem of industrial heritage. At its heyday, the Brass Mill was at the cutting edge of technological and economic development. Today Saltford is a thriving community of over 200 successful businesses, many run as work-from-home enterprises. Saltford is also known for its wealth of activities and community involvement, all centred on the Saltford Community Association. There is a thriving Saltford Environment Group and Saltford has been awarded Fairtrade Village Status. Saltford Golf Club has hosted the prestigious English Ladies Open Tournament and Saltford Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly, welcoming club where non-members are invited to play. The biennial Saltford Festival in June showcases all that is best about Saltford, including music, dance, poetry, drama, comedy, exhibitions, talks, guided walks, competitions, and, of course, food and drink. • Such an amazing weekend very relaxing, beautiful scenery, amenities were fantastic and hot tub well that was the icing on the cake - was beautifully hot on these cold evenings. Considering a yearly visit with my wife - highly recommend

  • Very relaxing stay - hosts thought of some nice details including wine, bath robes and slippers and the hot tub was even on when we arrived.

  • Such an amazing hit with amazing scenery. Very easy communication, lovely staff, including an adorable welcome from Blue the dog. Loved it so much, we stayed an extra day. Loved the extra touches of prosecco... and the hot tub was unbelievable... coming back definitely!

  • ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE! Would 100% recommend! Amazing views and an amazing place to stay! Would definitely return back here! The Shepherds Hut was amazingly clean and cosy! The bed was comfy and it was very warm inside throughout the day and night! The jacuzzi was perfectly relaxing and in the perfect spot to look up at the views and the stars at night time! Very romantic and it feels like you’re in the middle of no where with all the privacy in the world! The stables near by were very pretty and it was lovely to see the horses, goats and chickens and also being able to walk around the grounds! This place is 10 minutes away from a huge car park near the main town where you can walk around to see the amazing shops and also the Christmas market! (Depending what time of year you go of course!) This was a surprise trip for my partners birthday and he fell in love with it the same as me when I booked it! My high expectations of this place were definitely matched and we had the best stay ever! THANK YOU!

  • Characterful and cosy in a BEAUTIFUL location. It’s got the perfect balance of feeling like it’s in the middle of no where whilst still being within walking distance of shops and lovely pubs. The hut itself was clean and well stocked with a welcome pack and everything you could possibly need to make the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It felt very secluded and private despite being on farm, but we knew we could call our hosts or pop up to the office if we needed anything. The BBQ, hot tub and fire pit worked brilliantly in the wintery weather. An all round AMAZING stay! Can’t wait to go back. Thanks!
