The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. Big and cosy room 11 km from the lake of constance

Our nice 25 sqm room with bathrooom is located in a little village with green and quiet environment. If it's clear you can see the alps from the garden. You will have your own entrance. In 1 km distance you can find a supermarket and a restaurant in the main village of the community. You can reach sites of interrest at the lake of constance like Überlingen (18km) or Konstanz (42km) and Bodman-Ludwigshafen (11km). A nice little public pool (Naturbad) is very close, only some minutes to walk.

Cozy 70 sqm attic apartment in beautifully situated farmhouse in the heart of the Upper Danube Valley Nature Park. Start your hike or mountain bike tour directly from the house. The car can also stop for climbing, the shovels are in the immediate vicinity. Canoeing is possible on the Danube & the Danube cycle path passes about 500m from the house. On the large orchard grazing our curious goats, there is room to romp and a great tree house to play.

Our place is good for couples, traveling alone, friends, families, and business travelers. Children's ice bed and highchair can be provided upon request.
