Andrea picked us up at the train station Siena, because it's hard te reach Badesse, the nearest stations to his plce is a bit difficult to reach between 10 and 13.

Andrea and his family are very very kind people who went the extra mile to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness and generosity meeting our needs. He also gave good recommendations for vineyards to visit and restaurants to try out. The additional breakfast prepared by his mom was quite a spread, which saved us as lot of time and allowed us to start our day nourished. The B&B was charming, quite large and clean. It's located near the highway so it's very easy to access by car, and it's also by a hill which boasts a great view of the Tuscan countryside. Would highly recommend staying with Andrea at this lovely B&B if you plan to explore Siena and the Tuscan countryside!

We felt welcomed, however it was a bit different than the previous reviews described. It was slightly more rustic and closer proximity to neighbors that we had hoped. The hosts were very kind and welcoming.

We got a little lost on the way so ended up arriving almost 2 hours after we said we'd arrive. But Andrea's parents met us and were very kind and accommodating. It was very clean but a bit cold inside - I don't think the heating worked. But the showers were very warm still and we had extra blankets. There was coffee and fruit in the morning which was nice. It was so beautiful to eat breakfast outside in the morning - I would definitely recommend staying here for a picturesque view! Sort of close to the highway but you can't hear it inside. I loved our stay here!

Andrea and his parents, Alessandro&Rosanna are really genuine,thoughtful and affectionate people, and they just treated me like a member of their family. Santa Chiara B&B is very classic and peaceful, lovely house. i used whole apartment and it was clean, spacious, convinient, indepent. and the breakfast was so special as well. when i arrived at the station, his father picked me up at the train station. they gave me all information for sighseeing in Toscany, furthermore even they brought me to other cities-Siena, Chianti, Moteriggioni. It located a bit hard to find at the first time, and sometimes might be inconvenient to go to other cities by public transportation, but they alwalys helped me perfectly so i didn't felt any difficulty visiting Siena, San gimignago and other cities. actually it's surrounded with many of must-see places/ regions. it was unforgettable experience in Italy. i wish i can stay again at this house if i'll visit Italy next time.

It was the wonderful place, very beautifull appartments. Andrea and his family were very friendly and hospitable, Andrea speaks english very good. For extra pay we got very delicious breakfast. And we found this place without problem using navigator. Andrea, thank you for everything!

Andrea and his parents were very welcoming and helpful, from the initial prompt communications through arrival and departure. The 2 bedroom apartment is large and has a sizable kitchen and dining room if you wished to cook yourselves. The breakfast is well worth the extra 5Euros. Thanks!

Andrea has a really nice place about ten minutes north of Sienna, he wasn't able to meet us when we arrived (we were late), but his parents were friendly and helped us out with the room. A beautiful old building with large bedrooms and a good shared bathroom.

We were welcomed from the start, due to a problem with our train Andrea was helpful enough to go out of his way to collect us, this started our stay very well. The accommodation was great, and suited our needs perfectly. We were treated to home grown figs which were amazing, and really made us feel at home. We are so grateful for the hospitality extended to us by the family, they really made our stay perfect.

This bnb is great. The place is very beautiful and quite. Rooms are very comfortable and the house is fully equipped. Location also good (with car). Very charming accommodation. It's not as quiet as one might suspect .There are several daily buses with people for a wine tasting and these then run around in the garden of the property. There are several apartments on the site, so that you the pool has to share umd the garden. Otherwise, it's a lovely place, ideal for exploring Siena and due surroundings.

If you are looking after a relaxing time in Tuscany do stop by Fattoria di Lornano. The lovely traditional tuscan house is very well maintain and equipped for a family of four (children 3 and 7 years old). Being welcomed with a bottle of rosé was a really good surprised. Angioletta our host was really responsive to any questions we had even when she was busy doing a tour of the winery to visitors. She and her team take really good care of the amazing site, garden and swimming pool. We were lucky to stay with two other lovely families which gave us adults excuses to have a drink by the pool and children to play together. Lornano is very well situated to visit the surrounding charming medieval villages as well as Pisa, Firenze and nearby Sienna. Only thing regarding the house is be prepared for the few end of day winery tours where visitors briefly stay on the public square and take pictures of the traditional tuscan house. But this was not disrruptive to our stay. We definitely recommend this agriculturismo for its great central location to visit Tuscany, its stunning views and its lovely host.

if you want to experience a centuries-old tuscan farmhouse and winery, this is the place to do it! the buildings fulfill every expectation, and the rolling, vine-covered hillsides surrounding the winery are gorgeous. thank you esp to angioletta, whose big smile and easy-going manner made us feel welcome. she went above and beyond in helping us out when we had a laundry issues. my only regret is that i did not have the time to do a wine-tasting. but at least my cousins and i walked the grounds of the property and the nearby area, and fully appreciated the tuscan country-side views and quiet. one unexpected bonus: the property is less than 1 km to the highway, making it a nice base to visit siena and other hill towns.

Vanuit praktisch oogpunt, het is goed uitgerust en alles werkte. Het zwembad is geweldig. Het landschap dat kan worden gezien van het en de ontspannen sfeer die uw tuin doordringt, nodigen rust en ontspanning. Angioletta liet ons de wijngaarden en gaf ons hun wijnen te proberen. Het is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en heeft een grote glimlach altijd. Het huis is gelegen in een strategisch gebied. Dit is niet alleen liet ons toe om Siena (slechts 15 minuten), maar Florence, Pisa, en een groot aantal grote kleine steden te bezoeken. Alle waren triest om te vertrekken.

Propreté impeccable, lieu très typique et rural. Si vous aimez le côté rustique et authentique foncez. Si vous préférez les lieux sophistiqués et modernes alors ceci n'est pas pour vous. Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'emplacement a quelques km seulement de Sienne, le calme des lieux et la gentillesse des hôtes. Pas de télévision dans notre maison qui s'appelait Malvasia, machine à laver commune à disposition et planche à repasser avec fer très pratique. Petit restau juste a côté du gîte délicieux! Nous recommandons pour le côté vraiment typique d'une maison de campagne sans chichis qui aurait pu être la notre.

Very secluded in the vicinity of olive trees and vineyards. Lovely little place which is cosy and has a great terrace! Cons would be wifi connection which is fairly poor and lack of a/c, only a fan (which helps a lot in summer).

The house is very beautiful and located in the countryside (20 mins drive from Siena). We loved our scenic drive around the area to Siena, Montepulciano, Montalcino and the wineries in the Chianti region. Awesome! Thank you Gherarda and your husband's hospitality for all the food, wine recommendations and taking care of us during our stay there! Would love to come back again in the future! =) It was also convenient that there's a restaurant (Osteria) right beside the house. After a long day out exploring the area, we could have a nice dinner at our own private courtyard. Specially prepared by Mario and Tonia. Great food as well!

Gherarda and her husband were delightul hosts. They made us feel very welcome and explained everything we needed to know about the property and travels in the region.

Gherarda and Maurizio's home is an absolute gem. We are so very glad we stayed here. The location, views and surroundings = absolutely STUNNING!! This home is so rustic and charming and quite spacious. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us. We did not meet Gherarda, but we met her husband Maurizio. Gherarda was a wonderful help before our arrival (very communicative) and both she and Maurizio are very, very kind, friendly people. This place is very difficult to find the first time around (as other reviews stated) - I typed in exactly what Gherarda said to put into the GPS into our GPS in the car and it led us very astray. We were lost for some time and we were so grateful for their patience when waiting for our (very delayed) arrival. What finally worked was me using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps on my phone - don't know why this made a difference, but it did! Maurizio was kind to drive me to the nearby restaurant (5 minute drive) to ensure it was open before we potentially wasted our time going there in case it was closed for the holiday weekend. This was appreciated because we were beyond starving when we arrived. A bottle of wine was left for us and Maurizio took his time explaining things to see in the area. This home is so beautiful and we especially enjoyed our time sitting outside on the patio. If you are looking for a home in the countryside, look no further. The apartment lies in a very quite beautiful landscape near Siena. It was furnished with everything you need and had a big terrace. Gherarda and her husband gave us a lot of information and were very helpful.

The images correspond exactly to the reality. The apartment is large and the terrace is very nice. The location of the apartments is perfect to the Chianti region to explore (Siena, San Gimignano, Pienza, Montepulciano everything within reach). Gherarda's son Davide has us very kindly welcomed by his family in the apartment welcome and gave us many helpful tips for restaurants and excursions. The communication beforehand was great, all requests were answered very quickly and super friendly. Gherarda also put us on his own cots, baby bath, baby towels, etc. available, when she learned that we were traveling with a 2 month old baby. Does not exactly in the description: The building of the apartments adjacent to another apartment inside a farmhouse, which we did not bothersome. In addition, a small Osteria is in 20m distance to the apartment. However, since this includes already to 22 clock and the master bedroom is located at the back, we did not find that disturbing. Especially the food was excellent tastes there and the warm hospitality of Mario and Tonia made our holiday further enriched. We enjoyed it overall really enjoyed it and we felt in the apartment very comfortable. We can the apartment good conscience.

This 200 year old home initially struck us as a bit dark, but once we saw how bright the sun was, we appreciated the refuge it provided. Gherarda and her husband are lovely and could not have been more responsive to us and our needs. This is a simple home in the middle of wine and olive oil country but close to Siena.

This was the perfect place for a perfect experience in Tuscany. Unfortunately our host wasn't feeling well, but her husband greeted us and showed us the place and have great suggestions for places to see and eat. If you stay here you must visit the little restaurant across the road. The BEST I've had yet in all my travels throughout Italy! The place was clean, quiet and described perfectly and was accurate.

The cottage was clean and comfortable, though the bedroom and sitting room did not have much natural light. The location is excellent, and the restaurant a few doors away is fantastic.

Laura and her son were very helpful as we didn´t found the place at first, her son picked us at a parking lot up and we could followed him by car to the house. Laura prepared a basket full of vegetables and fruits from the garden. The Appartement is very clean, cosy and you feel at home. Pool and terrace are just amazing, it´s perfect for vacation. We had the pool for ourselves.

Small haven of peace, where we are greeted warmly by Laura and her family. The place is quiet and very well maintained with the typical charm of Tuscan houses. Baskets filled with vegetables and fresh fruit from the garden are deposited by the hosts, a treat !! Not to mention a perfect infinity pool to cool off. Remember to bring mosquito products ... the vagaries of the campaign.

The stay was absolutely perfect!!! The property, pool and surroundings are even more beautiful in reality than on the pictures. A very nice, well restored and clean place to stay near Siena! Besides its own pergola still are still a terrace, a dream after pool and barbecue available. The two dogs are very well behaved and just amazing. Laura greeted us even late at night and took us on the first day a basket of vegetables from the garden. Everything we had described, or even better. The location is perfect for day trips in Tuscany and Umbria. We can only say thank you and recommend from the bottom of the heart!

We had some difficolte find it, we are lucky; we have a mobile and laura have sent his son. So a great place but when we saw the two dogs, aie aie aie. But no two gentle dogs, only barking to welcome dela people.

If you want to see the most amazing Tuscan views you have to stay at Riccardo's! Even just getting lost is an adventure here. I loved exploring every little road and had the best views ever! His place is close to the Autostrada but also in the best place to take the country roads and to quickly drive for a gelato orto get to a shop for food. The house was well equiped and spacious. I loved the fact that my room was very dark at night as i do not like light when i sleep. His beds was also extremely comfortable (I was uncertain when i looked at the photos of the extra room so that was a good supprise) I am a big animal lover and his rescue puppies made my day every day when they walked past us, I did choose to invite them into my courtyard and play with them. Riccardo speaks english very well and not only came to fetch us when i drove wrong but also helped me to check the tires of my car when i got a strange italian message on the dash board of my car. I wish we could have stayed another few days.....even a month! When in Chianti do drink Chianti wine, even the cheap bottles was good! I can recomend Riccardo's to anyone!

Everything was exactly what was in the ad. We were lost by car and Riccardo picked us up to take us to housing.

It felt just like home. We were looking for a place where we could cook our own meal, wash our clothes and relaxed. The apartment was very, very clean, modern, very well equip with a charming look. We really felt like home. Riccardo gave us a warm welcome took the time to explain everything :) he even gave us eggs from his chicken for our breakfast :). He was very accommodating for our check in time. Riccardo apartment is the perfect place to stay if you are wine tasting in the Chianti Region. On the other side of the apartment there is a nice Osteria if you do not wish to cook. I would recommand Riccardo apartement 100%.

Our 2 days stay with Riccardo after Xmas was fantastic, we enjoyed the rural atmosphere in the middle of the toscana like on a postcard. Clean spacey rooms for my wife and our little daughter, very close to all the sights around Siena and firenze. Cristina was polite and friendly and managed our late arrival. The apartment is fine for a couple of nights as long as you take provisions with you as none are provided. There is no local information on places to eat, visit, shop provided and communication via text can be frustrating.

Casa Lornano is just heaven. It is a dreamy cottage in the middle of Tuscany very close to Chianti, Siena and all other attractions around. The villas neighbourhood allows for a perfect relaxation. The apartment is lovely with a nice garden and views of Tuscan trees. Everything you need is there. It is very clean and there is air conditioning and full working wifi. Cristina is a wonderful host, very attentive and taking care of her guests. I fully recommend to anyone loving Tuscan sights, chianti wine and Italian cuisine - perfect for such romantic relaxation.

we were not greeted by Mrs. Cristina but by her mother. We arrived in the late evening waiting for the end of the Palio trials deeply felt by the Sienese. She showed us the apartment indicating the subdivision. There is no air conditioning as indicated on the site and if there was there was shown the operation. However, the apartment we needed only x sleep standing outside all day until late at night. Only note, regarding the requested costs x cleaning that, at my express request before confirming, but there appeared to be that the night before I was requested. However, Ms Cristina, I have not had the pleasure of meeting, he acknowledged that there could be a double interpretation in his response to my request very clear and decisive choice in the host. Therefore I did not recognize the costs of cleaning required at the conclusion of the three-night stay.

Positivissima experience !! Me and my girlfriend we really were fine with Catherine and her husband, they have reserved a luxurious treatment! Beautiful home and great room, comfortable and fresh and bathroom super ... The atmosphere is rural but it is easy to get to Siena. We hope to come back soon!

Super home, with a fresh fruit juice on arrival. Caterina is a very warm and welcoming person, you feel good immediately. A private part of the housing which leaves much privacy to guests. The location is a little off, allowing zau to be calm. Only small problem, you have to take the car, the village is a bit far, but it's also what makes the charm of housing! Recommend it so !!

Catherine was very kind and hospitable. We talked about the area and made suggestions for places to visit. The rooms are simple, well kept and clean. The b & b is a five minute drive from monteriggioni and a few more from Siena. Experience recommended!

They offered us water ans juice at our arrival and we got a nice breakfast in the morning! Caterina and her husband are a great couple who put a lot of effort in our stay. Bianca was very easy to communicate with and offered some great suggestions for us during our stay. She greeted us with a loaf of freshly baked bread and homemade yogurt. Everything was as we expected it to be, there were no surprises. The countryside here is very rural and idyllic and the wild roses added a lot to the charm of the property.

We have not had an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding given the time of my stay, and the commitments that Francesca had to meet on the afternoon of my arrival. He still managing with friendly, familiar exhaustive. The room is clean and so the bathroom, convenient parking inside the courtyard for me that motorcycle trip it is anke more. By Francesca x the few words exchanged in the morning before leaving I had the impression of an affable and courteous person, thoughtful put at ease guests.

Francesca is a nice, smiling person. I responded to all my requests. The stay was very nice and I would recommend a quiet place to rest with easy access to nearby attractions: Volterra, Siena, San Gimignano.

We spent just one night in Francesca's house, everything was great. Quite easy to find it and no problem with parking. We could also use kitchen for breakfast. I can just recommend it.

The room in the family house is very nice, with large ensuite and even private exit. Perfect for parking a car, it is safe in the yard of the house. It is very easy to reach Siena in fifteen minutes and it's easy to park at the Fortezza. The house is easy to reach from Firenze because Badesse is on the road between Florence and Sienna. Badesse is not a very pretty town, the house overlooks a road, but we also see the beautiful hills behind. Just do qques km drive to find the Tuscan incredibly beautiful. Francesca speaks French, she is very friendly and attentive to his guest. A very good experience.

The location of the house is perfect for both those who want to travel by train or bus or by car. It's a shotgun shot from Siena.

Francesca's house is lovely and the room you rent is really big. We got a nice breakfast and coffee, but the room was rather cold. Otherwise, all good!

We had a good stay at "Il Gelso". Especially, we liked the apartment's location. On the one hand, it is very quiet in the middle of vineyards. On the other hand, it is an excellent starting point for exploring the whole Chianti area. Our host Luigi was very friendly and helpful.

Luigi was extremely helpful from the moment we arrived by car near the house and guided us the last piece to it. It was a beautiful place with no other tourists at the Borgo. A lot of privacy. Beautiful home especially considering the price / quality ratio. View was fantastic and the great silence

Nice apartment with a wonderful view of the surroundings. The apartment is one third of the hole house. In the other part lives the owner and his family (2 young kids and a dog). The house is on a borgo with other houses. The pool is very nice, most of the time we had it all to ourselves. Nice to see: Siena, San Gimigano, Monterrigione. Communication with Luigi was very good.

A lovely location in a very quiet spot in a little hamlet of private holiday properties most were not being used at the time of our vist and our one neighbour was a lovely family who gave us our privacy , the large pool is shared but we were the only ones around whenever we walked the 100 yards or so to use it. the house is as described and the kitchen has everything you need ,Luigi met us in the local village to lead us to the location as our sat nav was a bit confused. he then showed us round and was friendly and informative. nearby are lots of small villages for food supplies and eating out . and the location is an easy drive from Florence and Siena for site seeing.

The location is superb. The apartments are beautiful and functional. The pool then from that relaxation touch it takes. The opportunity to make wine tasting at a serious producer is just a bonus. Angioletta was very kind and really everything at the Lornano Farm is arranged or arranged in such a way as to allow you total relaxation. Bravo is good guys. Siena is only 15 minutes away by car and other small villages can be reached in less than 20 minutes. Unique landscapes, historic towns, great cuisine and wine are all at your fingertips. We will be back!

Good communication upon checkin, and wonderful tranquil location. The villa was basic but clean overall. The internet didn't work during our whole stay and the shower wasn't really proper, but apart from that the stay was fine. Thank you for having us.

The property is incredibly great - small cottage-like dwellings belonging to a winery, are delicately furnished, with fully equipped kitchen and everything was very clean. This can be done to share the garden and pool and enjoy a wonderful view. The small bottle of wine to taste as a gift completes a truly perfect experience. Angioletta, the housekeeper, with whom we had contact, is also very, very nice and dedicated. A place to feel good!

All amenities as stated, a charming old farmhouse. Located in Badesse. Good wifi inside. Rosie was absolutely lovely, and if you are fortunate enough to taste her cooking you will enjoy it. Alessandro is available to take you to the bus or train station as required. Probably best suited to a couple with a car.

From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome and given all that I needed. Overall, the place was gorgeous, the room spacious and all amenities taken care of. This was a wonderful AirBnB, with gorgeous grounds and friendly hosts.

Andrea is a host courteous and considerate: greeted us upon our arrival and we were shown to our room in the farmhouse. We only stayed one night but the Tuscan context deserves much more time. Thank you for your kindness Andrea!

Andrea's place is only one station away to Siena. It is a bit far from the Badesse station but if you want, he can pick you up from the station to the house. Or he can as well send you to the station. His mother is very kind and accomodating, she can send you to Siena when she has time or she's going shopping. All in all. It is a very nice plac to stay. Breakfast is good. Place is clean

What a great place, in the heart of Monteriggioni. The hosts, Andrea and his parents ( Alessandro and Rosanna ) make you feel right at home. The room was very large, bright, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is definitely worth the extra 5€. It is out in the garden, under the pergola with lots of Winderful things from Toscana. You will feel like royalty staying here. Thank you Airbnb for making this all available to travelers.

The house is at the end of a dirt road. There is space for parking and the garden is well maintained by the Mother. Decoration and furniture of the room, bathroom and common kitchen is a little outdated, but for the location, cleanliness, price, and care and the availability of Andrea .... it n ' there is no better. Andrea thank you for your valuable advice and exchanges. I had a great time and have very fond memories of Tuscany. A very soon.

We stayed at Bianca's quaint gorgeous farmhouse for 6 nights. During this time we were welcomed by the super friendly hosts, were given fresh bread and yoghurt on arrival, were recommended to some amazing towns and restaurants, drank some awesome homemade organic wine and olive oil, and in general had a blast. The farmhouse is located on a lovely property, a true tuscan experience. It was within driving distance of all the main attractions of tuscany. I would recommend this property to anyone travelling to tuscany!

This scenic and well equipped place (coffee!) was perfect for a few day get away. The sunsets are mind blowing, the pool is cool and clear and the location in Chianti is unsurpassed. Just enough nearby but still as quiet as can be. Clean, comfortable, totally charming and the host Biana is super warm and gives great advice. I'd stay there again.

The Pool is marvelous

Great large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa that was very comfortable. Very close to great Tuscan locations like Siena, Cortona and Florence. Garden fruit and vegetables helped us to make some wonderful meals when we stayed in. Swimming Pool area wonderful. Local town of Badesse very handy as a supermarket. Laundry facilities a real bonus. All in all a great value very comfortable Tuscan experience.

Our stay at Il Gatto was a delight. This charming cottage is located in a lovely rural setting within a 20 minute drive to Sienna and easily accessible to many interesting areas and villages. Laura and her husband were helpful and generous with their hospitality. Although the motorway can be heard in the garden, the noise is unobtrusive and inside, the cottage is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with good quality pots, knives and basic spices, coffee and oils, The pool is stunning.

We had a wonderful stay for three nights at Podere Casalino - Il Gatto! Laura and her son were extremely helpful, especially when we were trying to locate the house and when we needed to call for a taxi. The house and property were very clean and kept up beautifully. The rooms and the entire home was very spacious with lovely patios and a large pool. We used the pool a lot, which was a great escape and very relaxing. I recommend this house to anyone and hopefully I can stay again one day!

Laura's place was FANTASTIC! We stayed at four different locations in Italy, all very nice, but Laura's place was by far the best. You'll love it!!

Laura made us feel welcome and helped us (fi with our car troubles, she called the garage for me in Italian). The appartment (part of the big building) is very spacy and privacy is great: there is only one other appartment in the building and Laura lives also there, but your privacy is respected. The building is very nice with authentic furnuture and floors. It is nice to cook there because there is a big gas stove and a lot of pots and pans. I love also the driveway with the cyprusses. The pool is magnificent with a great view (infinity pool) and in the middle of the woods.

We found 'Il Gatto' to be a clean, incredibly spacious home for our two weeks in Tuscany. The kitchen was well-equipped with a six gas ring hob, large fridge, dishwasher and oven - washing up liquid, tablets and tea-towels provided. There's a washing machine outside, with line drying available - brilliant on a hot summer's day. On our stay, we had outside temperatures of 35C+, but the house always felt cool inside - we never found it too hot to sleep, which we've experienced in other properties. The swimming pool is amazing, set in an amphitheatre of oak trees and well-tended lawn - extremely clean and well-maintained. Jeremy, Laura and their family were very hospitable, bringing us more homegrown fruit and veg than we could actually eat. We tried their tomatoes, figs, grapes, basil and peaches - thank you so much. We enjoyed their two playful dogs, too. The house is located up a cypress tree-lined track, with one or two other properties close-by. The autostrada is about a 3-4km drive away in either direction - we used Badesse and Monteriggioni (try the Bar dell' Orso on your way through) junctions the most. From the house we drove to close-by towns such as Monteriggioni, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra, as well as to further away Florence (40-45 mins) and to the coast on three occasions - Cecina, Livorno and Monte Argentario (all about two hours away). So, you really can explore many aspects of Tuscany from this location.
