We loved the area around Valflaunes, the views are spectacular. Although it was mid December the weather was great and we had some good walks. We even had lunch outside! The house was nicely furnished, warm and very comfortable. Danielle provided a welcome hamper with wine, cake, milk and juice and there was plenty of coffee, tea and infusions. She also has a good set of maps and guides to local attractions as well as indoor games. She kindly set up the outdoor hot tub for us.

We didn't arrive until 10 pm and Danielle, who is really lovely, gave us a very warm welcome. She kindly provided us with a much appreciated welcome pack on arrival. Danielle was very helpful and provided us with some very useful advice. The house is exactly as described in the listing; brand new, modern and immaculate, with every amenity required. The outside area was perfect, very private, with table & chairs, sun loungers, hammock and spa. The house is located in a very quiet, peaceful and safe area. We had 17 wonderful days at Danielle's lovely house and would highly recommend staying here. We hope to return here in the future for another holiday.

Excellent séjour! Maison neuve, très bien équipée, propre, sans vis-à-vis et au calme. Le jacuzzi extérieur est également très appréciable (même en hiver). Tout le nécessaire de cuisine est prévu et de nombreuses collations vous attendent à votre arrivée! Hôtesse très accueillante, discrète et à votre écoute. Je recommande très sincèrement cette location.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment chez Janick et Myriam. Tout est fait pour qu'on se sente comme à la maison. La chambre est indépendante du reste de la maison et possède sa propre salle de bain. La piscine chauffée est en libre accès, quel bonheur après une journée de balade! L'emplacement est idéal pour de belles balades autour du Pic Saint Loup, et pour les amateurs de course à pied/trail, vous pourrez vous fier aux précieux conseils de Janick qui est coach en trail. Je recommande sans hésiter! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir lors d'un passage dans la région.

Très bon accueil par Dominique et son mari qui ont été très attentifs et très discrets. Literie très confortable, salle de bains, partagée, à 2 pas (un couloir à traverser), WC, un peu plus loin !

Rien de mieux comme hébergement que celui que propose Dominique. En pleine campagne, proche des collines, le cadre est très reposant. La chambre proposée est spacieuse, et donne sur un petit jardin avec un accès direct. L'accueil était super. Je vous recommande vivement le lieu. Florian

De passage pour une nuit, nous avons été très bien accueillies par Dominique qui a tout mis en oeuvre pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Discrétion, simplicité, sérieux et bonnes énergies assurés.

On a passé une super semaine chez Bogdan et Amanda. La maison est super agréable, la terrasse est un petit havre de paix très agréable, et nos filles se sont régalées à découvrir tous les jeux/livres prêtés par les petits de la maison!

Marjolaines and Valerians house is really nice and cultivated. With an amazing few from the terrace. They built it with style. It is a quiet area this little cute village. The pool was really clean and a pleasure, even in the middle of april. You should clearify the situation with cleaning the house by your self, or taking a maid before (the time for cleaning should be fixed before). But apart from that it is absolute commendable to visit this house.

A very equipped, attractive and comfortable house with the added bonus of a superb view from the living area, as well as the pool. The host went out of her way to be welcoming and to provide plenty of useful information about the local area. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay.

We had a lovely stay with Marjolaine and her family in Corconne. The house is beautifully decorated and got everything you need. It is a really peaceful and pretty place and the small village as well. Very nice hosts who were always there to help. Thanks a lot for a nice time in Corconne! Highly recommended.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The village of Corconne is very charming and there are lovely walks and hikes within walking distance. The nearby town of Quissac offered good options for necessary supplies. The situation between Montpellier and Nimes is very convenient. The house is well built and appointed and Marjolaine did her best to make us comfortable. Make sure you also "check out" in person!

Have just returned from a wonderful week in the Gite! Marjorlaine and Valerian were exceptional hosts and made us feel so welcome. The accommodation itself is impeccable, with all the amenities you need. They also provided a travel cot and toys for my little girl. The whole place is beautifully newly renovated, and the views are stunning. I hope to return soon!

Our whole family had a really lovely time here. Marjolaine and her husband were wonderful hosts, really helpful with settling us in and going really out of their way to help us with our 6 month old, providing a travel cot, high chair and baby bath. The place was spotless and really tastefully decorated and to a very high spec. The swimming pool and views from the terrace were beautiful and even better than the photos show. The nearby village was a little quiet with only one small cafe but if you're looking for the perfect quiet, picturesque base to relax by the pool, then this is the perfect spot.

A great warm welcome right form the start to ensure we had all the details to get us there safely and anything we needed during our stay. The house was an amazing place to stay, beautifully done out, clean and cosy, stunning views, peaceful just a perfect place to stay for some R&R. It is within driving reach of some great days out in the local area, quaint local villages with everything you need in under 10mins & 50 mins away from he beach. I would love to go back again so highly recommend this place.

A very nice and quiet place in Languedoc. The landscape of wineries and nice hills was really surprising for us. We appreciated it a lot. Sandrina and his husband have been very friendly, giving us a very nice welcome. The description of the house and photographs are accurate. We certainly would like to return in order to spend some additional days in Claret!

Sandrine and Johan really cared about our well being. They gave us many recommandations and tips for this region. They were happy to help and answer every question we had. The apartment was really comfortable. It was a good location to visit the nearby villages and cities. The area was really quiet and relaxing. We would go back anytime.

La maison d'Audrey et Yann est très bonne pour faire les vacances a Claret. Nous avons été aimablement accueillis avec des boissons froides, tout était joliment décorée avec des serviettes, écrit un message de bienvenue et la maison était un dossier préparé avec des conseils sur la région, des excursions, etc. La maison sur plusieurs niveaux est avec très bon goût et l'équipement de la maison est très confortable. Avant notre départ, nous avons appris à connaître brièvement la famille et avons été chaleureusement accueillis. Tout était merveilleux. Un grand merci à Audrey et Yann qu'ils nous ont confié leur belle maison.

Bel endroit calme et reposant, de beaux paysages, des activités intéressantes à proximité et un voisinage au top !

This wonderful cottage is heavenly! We've stayed in so many AirBnBs and this is my favorite!! It's so cozy with a wood-burning stove and the perfect amount of space for our family of four. Everything is so pleasing to the senses - beautiful pottery dishes, soft fabrics, and natural baskets. And the setting is so tranquil - we took a few walks along nearly deserted roads and did a nature scavenger hunt that the homeowners set up. There are also so many puzzles & games which the kids loved.

Beautiful home, with washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, sleeping loft and private bedroom, as well as patio and nearby parking, complemented by Sylvie's wonderful stained glass and beautiful art work, in a lovingly restored medieval cottage. The place is made with love. It is very confortable. We felt really good and enjoyed the nature and the calm. The host gave us tipps and information and very really kind.

Sylvie met us at the gate and showed us around, she was very helpful! They've done a really nice job in doing the place up, it's really cool! There was even a map for a 2 hour treasure hunt to go out and see some of the countryside which was good fun. We also liked the small village it's in. Perfect for a couple!

Sylvie's flat was a true gem! Her very cute, cozy place has so much character down to the smallest detail - the furniture, decorations, walls, rooms, plates. It is in a small village in Pic St-Loup, a short drive from many wineries, grocery store. The surrounding area is quaint and lovely. Sylvie herself is very kind and was always quick in responding before we arrived. We only stayed one night, but wished we had stayed longer. I definitely want to go back to her place next time I am back in the region - highly, highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time in Catherine's large and beautiful house. The pictures can't really do justice to what a stunning place this stone-lined (and art-full) maison this was. The rooms are large and clean with plenty of room for bags, and the communal areas are a pleasure to hang out in. These include three tables outdoors in the pleasant garden as well as a dining table, sofa area and games mezzanine indoors. The house was so nice we deliberately spent most of our break at the property! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the region, which is also stunning. Worth noting that Catherine was also extremely friendly and available whenever we needed advice (she runs the art boutique at the front of the property, so is around if necessary). A wonderful host.

Hôte très accueillante, très aimable et aussi qui sait rester discrète. La maison est spacieuse et le jardin et la terrasse sont très appréciables. La région est belle. On peut se promener et aussi déguster les vins locaux (nombreuses caves à proximité).

La maison est tout à fait conforme au descriptif et très agréable. Nous y avons séjourné deux semaines a 5. La région du pic saint loup est magnifique et une très belle piscine est accessible à 5mn en voiture pour un prix très raisonnable. Notre hôte nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et est très agréable. Je vous recommande vivement cette location.

La maison était à la hauteur des photos et même plus. Notre hôte également. Elle a tout fait pour nous mettre à l'aise et a pris le temps de nous expliquer le fonctionnement de l'ensemble de la maison (même avant notre séjour) ainsi que les possibilités de visites dans les environs (dont les caves du pic saint loup...). Et jolie attention, une belle bouteille nous attendait au frais ! Bien qu'absente pendant notre séjour (dans tous les cas, son atelier est complètement indépendant de la maison et chacun a son intimité), elle a su se rendre disponible lorsque nous en avons eu besoin. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si l'occasion s'en présente.

Enchanting location! So peaceful and so beautiful. Stunning wild landscapes but a short drive to captivating medieval villages with winding cobbled alleyways, tasty restaurants, fascinating history. Paul's place had everything we needed for a perfect stay and we loved watching the sunset over the mountain whilst relaxing in the pool.

We felt very welcome, thank you. We were even greeted with a cup of tea with fresh mint and honey by the pool. The pool was gorgeous, an infinity pool with the mountains in the background. The location is beautiful but remote so make sure you buy groceries beforehand, about 20 minute ride to the nearest store. Gorgeous area for hiking. On the mountain just across from the large mountain in the distance is the ruins of an old fort we hiked up to. Well worth the climb. The apartment was just as described. Since there were 4 of us we really liked that the sink and shower was in one room and the toilet in a separate room.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Le Sournal for 3 nights and found it absolutely idyllic. Coming halfway through out driving tour of France de sud, it was the quiet tangent we needed. Paul was unable to be there in person but Aurelie, Alain and Marie, who were in the grounds were great. Welcomed us with friendly faces and were on hand for any questions. They also gave great advice for a local Vinyard, which we were all but too happy to try. The grounds were cost but expansive and swimming pool cool and refreshing, with great views all round. Merci Paul and everyone!

Tout est parfait : la vue, l'aménagement des gîtes réalisé avec goût , la piscine, avec encore une vue magnifique sur le Pic-Saint-Lou, on ne s'en lasse pas :-). L'accueil de Paul et Marlène est à la hauteur du reste, chaleureux, décontracté et relaxant ! Le tout dans une région superbe...Que du bonheur !

Incredibly kind hosts with a place well priced and located moments from the great hikes to the nearby Chateau above the hill and Pic st loup. Clean, decorated with beautiful art and the upstairs sleeping bunk is super warm in the winter! Well recommended!

Lionel informed us upfront that he would not be home to receive us and show us around. Despite this he did everything possible to make sure we had everything we needed (including some chocolade roll for breakfast) and the information he provided was more than adequate to access the room and find everything we needed. Room and accomodation is as described and shown in the pictures. very good price-quality

Very thoughtful and welcoming hosts! The place is a pretty looking and comfortable little bungalow located in a quiet area of the village. Nothing was missing - tea, coffee, pains au chocolat and even a small terrace in the garden made this a very pleasant and restful holiday.

This was a stunning place to stay - wonderful setting, relaxed environment (nice to be in an independent building) and we were given a welcome chance to have a dip in the pool after a hot walk up the local mountain. Lionel and his partner were very welcoming. We discovered that there were not a lot of places to eat in St Mathieu, on a week night, we ended up at a pizza take-away! but had some amazing local organic beer in Las Bonitas round the corner.

Super süßes kleines Gartenhäuschen mit sehr viel Privatsphäre. Die Familie war sehr hilfsbereit und hat mich sogar vom Flughafen abgeholt und von Dorf zu Dorf gefahren. Ich hatte sogar für einen Tag den Pool für mich allein. Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit dort :-)
