Zach's place is a super clean, minimalist, and modern place with a nice guestroom (comfortable bed and mini-fridge in the room) close to the highway with easy access to KC. Great value. Zack's place was awesome. We really really enjoyed our stay there. The room and bed were beyond comfortable... we slept like babis. The bed linens and towels felt so luxurious. The house was spotless and extremely clean. The little touches and amenities including the mini fridge, complimentary fruit, water, coffee and candies were appreciated. Zack was a perfect host, even though he'd said we were his first guests, you wouldve thought he'd hosted a hundred times before. The location was convenient and the neighborhood was quiet. All in all, couldn't have had a better stay. And for the price....WOW. We were truely impressed!!!

Clean, quiet, awesome price. We drove 15-20 minutes to do everything we wanted to do so nothing is super close. But you really can't beat the price, and Zach responds to messages quickly. There's two rooms, so another one of Zach's guests could be there at the same time as you, meaning you technically share a bathroom with other people. Though there is another bathroom in the unfinished basement if you really need it. Everything in the listing is accurate so all in all, good place to stay for a short time.

This Air B & B location is very clean, spacious, and well appointed. Chad is a gracious host and answered all questions quickly. It is in a quiet neighborhood a few miles from shopping and other attractions. We will choose this location when ever we are in the area.

I was very happy with my stay. I was in town for KC Chiefs game at Arrowhead stadium. Location worked out perfect. Place was clean, safe, and had everything I needed. Amy is very nice to talk to and animals (dog & 2 cats) are friendly. Id be happy to stay again and recommend to others.

Amy was a great host! Communication was super easy with her and she was very accommodating. The room was just as described. There was a mini fridge in the room and it definitely came in handy. It was great for a stopover on my trip and also a good value if you're on a budget.

The place was amazing. Our flight arrived before check in time, and Elizabeth was more than happy to accommodate us checking in early. When we arrived we found a sparking clean place. Perfect for our needs. There was a guidebook for plenty of local activities, and even a present awaiting us in the fridge. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Could not want anything more out of a place to stay in Kansas City. The house was clean and so welcoming. The hosts do an amazing job of making you feel more welcome with beer in the fridge and snacks on the table. I 100% recommend this place whether you are staying for one night or for ten nights.

Staying at Elizabeth's place was perfect! We were traveling south on I-35 and needed a night-stop for us and our two kids, preferably in Kansas city. Having an apartment to ourselves, with a kitchen and two bedrooms seemed ideal - and it was! Not only was there enough private space for all of us, but it was all so clean and pristine - it was such a delight. Communication was easy, arrival and check-in was as simple as can be, and check-out was a breeze. The living room has a comfy sofa, with a huge screen and some TV options. The kitchen is basically outfitted with most of what one could need. The bedrooms are nicely decorated, with a fuzzy carpet to make you feel cozy, and the bathroom\shower were excellent - the water-pressure in the shower was a treat, and the shampoos\shower-gel and even the complimentary tooth-brush & paste were all such thoughtful touches on Elizabeth's part. Also, the guide-book on the kitchen table was very helpful for finding the nearest (excellent) cafe for breakfast, as well as other attractions and amenities. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and we would definitely stop there again! Sincerely, Dan

Chase's place is spacious, clean and comfortable! Always a great place to stay!

Our group of four had a very nice stay at Chase's property. The private basement space was exactly as advertised. The main seating area and two beds (one in a private bedroom, the other in the common area) were comfortable, the shower was spacious and had great water pressure. We were in town for a Royals baseball game, and it took at most 15 minutes to get to the stadiums (Chiefs football stadium is on the same property as the Royals). We were also close to downtown Kansas City. Chase was very friendly, and it was great to meet his family. Check in was easy, and we appreciated the breakfast goodies provided. The tips on were to enjoy KC BBQ were also appreciated. For an extend stay, I would say the ideal number of guests for Chase's place is 1-3, but the four of us were just fine for a couple of nights. In summary, I can definitely recommend this property.

This was my first Airbnb experience and Stephanie has set the bar high. We were taking a crazy baseball trip (visiting 4 MLB parks in 4 days), and we literally just needed a place to shower and sleep. Stephanie messaged me prior to check in and I gave her a better idea of when we would arrive. She greeted us and then showed us our private entrance and the place. It was spotless, and to be honest, it was much more than we needed. It was absolutely perfect and the price was amazing. A hotel would cost double, and wouldn't be as big or nice. We visit KC frequently for Royals games, so I guarantee I'll look up Stephanie's place to see if it's available on our future trips. Thank you!!

We needed a place to stay and Stephanie graciously took our reservation at the last minute! Her home is beautiful and conveniently located near the Interstate. The apartment is the entire basement of the house, and her and her husband were welcoming. The basement is huge and has a full kitchen, full bath, private bedroom, and a massive flatscreen TV. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend it to any traveler passing through the Kansas City area.

There is so much space in Stephanie's basement apartment! You get a whole kitchen (full size appliances), large TV, a huge comfortable bed, and all the space you could want for a relaxing getaway. She was very accommodating to our family of four. My toddlers had lots of space to explore and we were very satisfied with how much privacy the setting/hosts gave us. They also set us up with lots of towels. Hooray!

Based upon the glowing reviews I read about Stephanie's place, it did not disappoint! It is quite a large, clean apartment in a quiet private location, offering a well-appointed kitchen, with bottles of cold water and coffee provided, a very comfortable bed, relaxing furnishings, and a widescreen television to enjoy. The hosts were very nice and responded to questions quickly. Convenient access highways and the many interesting parts of Kansas City.

This location was perfect. Nice peacefull neighborhood. Great view from guest room overlooking a lake with walking trails. Nothing beats the memory foam bed!!! So comfortable! And the big sell for me was all the counter space w/ his/her sinks for all my hair and makeup tools ;) Alex was so kind- was there if u needed. Can't say enough wonderful things!! Love.

Hosts were awesome. My daughter has a cat allergy and Alexandrea did some extra cleaning and was happy to accommodate my requests. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of space. The kids loved playing on the deck area and they even had a little toy box the kids loved as well. It was our first Air BNB experience and we would do it again for sure.

Its safe to say that I wont be staying in a hotel in KC ever again as long as Alex location is available. Why would you even think about staying in a cubical hotel when you can stay at this beautiful home. It was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. My family and I would like to thank her for allowing us to stay at her home. :)

What I loved about the place was that it was really quite and the bed was so comfy! This place was really clean! Unfortunately there were no wifi which I was hoping to have because my assignment was due. Maybe i should of looked into that. Our first night there we did not land in Kansas until 11:45pm and make it to the place until 2:45am. Luckily Jay was had left the key under the mat which was very accommodating and helpful since there was a thunderstorm. I do want to note that we California's are not used to someone not knocking and letting themselves in at 3am, which Jay did. My boyfriend and I could not sleep the entire night due to this because while Jay was giving us a tour of the home the lights turned off and came back on. Something that would actually happen in the movie happened to use. It was the scariest night because the home felt like it was in the middle of nowhere and it was just a horrible night. Overall we had a pleasant stay, it was just a bad night for us due to the weather conditions and unexpected host trying to give us a tour in the middle of the night. I just felt uneasy but it is mandatory that he does do a walk through in the home. I do want to apologize for not having enough time to take a look at the paintings. Jay is a very nice man and the home was very cozy.

I absolutely loved staying here. The price was perfect and we slept very well. Jay was kind enough to meet us over there even when I wasn't very clear on what time I would be there.

Jay is a great host. His place is like home away from home. It has all the basics and more to give you a comfortable stay. There is a microwave, toaster, and hair dryer. It even has a washer and dryer. We only stayed one night so we did not get to use all the amenities. We wished we had the time to check out Jay's artwork and the lake. Check-in time is 3:00 pm, but my float trip started at 2:00 p.m. That meant that I would have to check in very late. Jay was very gracious and accommodating and let us check in at noon. That gave us time to settle in and get groceries before we had to head out. What an outstanding host!

Jay has a wonderful little home near the lake fairly secluded from the world with a lot of shopping and eating options within minutes of a drive. Jay was very friendly and has an amazing collection of art he has painted that he was happy to show us. We felt very welcome and will more than likely be staying again in the future.

Vanessa is someone who will go out of her way to make you feel at home. This goes beyond her role as an Airbnb host; rather, her genuine care for people is what drives the kindheartedness that touched me in so many ways throughout my two-week stay at her home. Nothing is truly too much for Vanessa. Her apartment is kept immaculately and it is evident that plenty of care and love has been put into the upkeeping and furnishing of her place. Her son is also incredibly well-behaved. You really can't get better than this.

Wow, Frank and Lisa aren't kidding when they describe their listing as "the comforts of home." I was very happy with my stay here! Frank and Lisa are incredibly welcoming and thoughtful hosts. Their home is immaculate, and they made sure I was well taken care of during my stay. I loved hearing about their travels, and they even prepared a gluten free snack tray for me for when I got back from the Royals game. I usually stay closer to the "busy" parts of the city when I'm in town, but this was convenient for getting to and from Kauffman Stadium, and it has easy access to the interstate. This was a fantastic Airbnb experience, and I look forward to staying here again.

Frank and Lisa were very welcoming. The house was easy to find, with GPS. Even though it was the Fourth of July, it was relatively quiet. Very close to Kaufman stadium. They had snacks waiting for when we arrived, after the Royals/Twins game and had a nice light breakfast the next day. We would definitely recommend them and would stay with them again.

Excellent place to stop after driving 9 hours for a cross country road trip. I arrived later than expected and a hot shower and a very comfortable, air conditioned room were just what I needed.

As usual, Frank and Lisa were a pleasure to stay with. I ADORED seeing Toby again, too(their cat). My stay with Frank and Lisa was one of the best I’ve had. In addition to an incredibly clean and comfortable space, I thoroughly enjoyed their company. I was in town for a lengthy research trip at the Truman Library, and I’d highly recommend other researchers stay here as well. I thought about staying in downtown Independence, but having a rental car really made a difference. The commute was only 15 minutes. Frank and Lisa treated me like family. I had a great time talking to them about BBQ, travel, and history. I’d highly recommend checking out some of their food suggestions—the Beignet place was a personal favorite!

I stayed here to go to a Royals game and was not disappointed. Great location just over 3 miles away from Arrowhead/Kaufman stadiums, quick easy drive. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a McDonalds and CVS across the street if you need a snack or something. Bed very comfortable and Merlene is incredible. She greeted me outside, made sure I was comfortable and when, like an idiot left something behind when I left, she took time out of her day to go to the post office to send it to me. Should I go to another game I will definitely see if she has a room available.

Merlene respect your privacy and coordinate with you. Best of all, Flexible check in and check out. She has a carport for Airbnb guest. She will give a guest keys for your room and main door. Don't have to worry coming in late. Thank you so much for your kindness.

This was a short stay just to avoid the overpriced hotels while attending a reunion. I'm glad I found it because it worked out perfectly. I was only there to rest at night. Easy in and out. Vanessa was a great communicator, though I only saw her at check in. It is a newer neighborhood so (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps can be little bit confused when directing you to her place, but it's easy to find if you just apply a little common sense.

I loved this beautifully remodeled house in a beautiful and quiet historic district of quaint small town. The bed was extremely comfortable and block out shades made for good sleeping. I loved sitting out on the front porch and watching the lightning bugs. And it was just a short walk into the historical downtown center and its shops -- especially good BBQ at The Filling Station and breakfast (with amazing FREE cinnamon rolls) at the Neighborhood Cafe. Hosts were next door but not intrusive and were very responsive. I wanted to move in!

This is a perfect place for 4-5 people. The house was very clean and had plenty of space in the common areas. Definitely a great choice!

My family of five arrived in the evening to find everything absolutely perfect. If you are anything like me, I like the places I stay to be near to perfect clean and organized. This sweet house far exceeded our expectations. Everything from the floors, the cozy beds, the high quality linens to the home decor were simply amazing. The whole house gave us more space than expected from the pictures. The bedrooms were spacious with closet and/or storage space to unpack and spread out. The kitchen was stocked with everything to make you feel like you were right at home. Even cream and sugar for your coffee. The owners left nothing forgotten - ice was in the freezer, extra toiletries in case you forgot something, and a wonderful binder full of instructions for all appliances. There was even a list of local places to dine/hang out with addresses and phone numbers. It it a very quiet street with beautiful yards and the walk into downtown Lee's Summit was simple and short! I give this place a 5 star rating - the perfect get away for a trip to Kansas City or Lee's Summit and surrounding areas. Perfect for one night yet spacious enough for an extended stay. We will most definitely be visiting again!

This super star host went above and beyond. I am new to using air b and b, however, the other places that I stayed at did not have as many amenities. In the room was a lovely box filled with chocolate, an oatmeal pack for breakfast and other snack goodies. In the morning there was coffee and an assortment of pastry type goodies!! This property was immaculate. Everything from the front porch to the bathroom was clean and the house always smelled welcoming and inviting. Would definitely stay again! Just a short 5 minute walk to Downtown Lee’s Summit.

Easily the best airbnb experience I've ever had. I almost hesitate to write a glowing review here only because it might make it more difficult to book in the future! I had a wonderful time, the place is beautiful and the hosts are fantastic. Great neighborhood, too.

Wonderful, peaceful, place to stay. Short walk to a quaint downtown area with shops & great restaurants. Lots of special touches-amazing beds, lovely property, yummy snacks, and pampering toiletries. Can't wait to stay again!
