  • Perfect place for a relaxing escape from the city. It was a bit cold outside reason why we wanted to get a house that was just an experience in itself. Lots of nice sofas, chairs and floor pillows to lounge around; the place is full of interesting items, books and even an old DVD and music collection. Wonderful views to the outside fields from any window and even better, when going out to have a cup of tea from the top balcony or porch downstairs. Debbie left us some breakfast goodies, including a delicious jam assortment, which was a very nice surprise and we really enjoyed them thanks! Great walking trails around the property if you are looking to connect with nature too.

  • We had a great weekend getaway at Victoria’s. The studio was warm & cosy & the perfect size for us. We decided to cook dinner in after a drink at the Plough & we had everything that we needed. The next morning we woke up to the sounds of the birds & had our breakfast provided by Victoria which included some fresh eggs that were laid by the hens that we saw wandering around the garden! We didn’t get to meet Victoria but it was so easy to check-in/out & to communicate with her. All in all it was a 10/10 stay.

    Lynn2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Victoria was a great host. I arrived very late on a last minute booking due to work to find the place perfectly heated with everything I could of wanted. Had a very relaxed stay.

Fantastic rural retreat! Gorgeous heated studio with its own private garden. Very cosy & quiet space. Two great pubs just a fifteen minute country walk away in Hursley. Only five miles into either Winchester (London by train 55 minutes) or Romsey. IBM Hursley is 1 mile away, Paultons Park & Peppa Pig world only ten minutes or so away. Great exploring base!
1 double bedroomed, cosy, heated studio (extra single bed - John Lewis sofa/chair bed - in the same room, available on request) which is furnished with character furniture - double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers. Modern shower room. Tea and coffee making facilities, toaster, fridge, microwave. And a TV if you just fancy chilling! A really lovely place to stay - you’ll have your own garden set within the main house 1/3 acre garden - we have three chickens (Amber, Roo & Bea) a guinea pig and a very chilled dog. No pets please as they might harm our friendly free ranging hens. It’s a very cosy space. Perfect getaway! Wifi to keep you connected, although we're rural, so don't expect anything super-fast!
Peaceful location with easy access to nearby towns and the M3 motorway (only four miles from junctions 11 or 12). London is easily accessible by train from Winchester in 55 minutes. The New Forest is a 30 minute drive away and you'll find beautiful beaches in around 40 minutes by car. Hursley is a very pretty village with two pubs that are walkable in around fifteen minutes (take a torch after dark - or we'll happily drop you down there if we're in!) and a village post office/small shop/newsagent. Winchester is only five miles away and is a really pretty, historic town, with many shops, cafes and restaurants to explore. We've lived in the area for sixteen years, so can give you a few ideas of where to start. In the other direction, Romsey, a small market town, is only five miles away. Again, great for a roam around and a coffee!
  • Always a great place to stay. Thanks :)

  • The whole trip went so smoothly from initial contact to the check-in and checkout. My 2 little people loved it and it made for a great little adventure to the secret holiday house.

    Chris2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully private , cute summer house with a comfortable bed, OK shower - and plenty of storage for clothes! Effective electric heating. Don't expect to cook anything other than heating up something in the microwave. Great holiday from washing up as there's a dishwasher instead of a sink (tho' there is a basin in the bathroom - obviously!) Please appreciate that you're in a country not urban setting so don't expect to 'stream' much video/TV or radio.

  • We really enjoyed our stay - the pool house is lovely and although it was too cold to use the pool, there was plenty to do nearby and our dog loved all the nice areas to go for walks!

Surrounded by stunning Hampshire countryside - perfect for relaxing with friends and family; enjoy cosy fires in the beamed sitting room, or chat around the kitchen table while you cook on the Aga after long country walks; the perfect rural escape!
Greystones is a special house with so much charm and character. The kitchen is a great area to socialise in with a small sofa where guests can chat whilst the aga cooks a lovely meal. It's very well equipped. The lounge is a great communal area that can easily seat 8-10 people, there is a big wooden fireplace, logs are supplied so you can sit around a crackling fire. There is also a playroom with lots of toys for all ages and television. There are 4 bedrooms, one with a shower, a family bathroom and a downstairs toilet. 2 double king size beds, 1 room with 2 singles and 1 with a bunkbed. During the summer the super, large back garden and orchard gets copious amounts of sunshine. There is a kids play area and a lovely seated patio to the left of the house. We have two sky boxes with a full package, one large television in the lounge and then a television in the master bedroom and playroom which are operated off a second box.
Crawley is a beautiful and unique Hampshire village, it boasts a thatched duck house, and lovely country pub. There is also a beautiful pub called the running house which is just down the road in Littleton. The locals are very friendly and welcoming, so please respect our neighbours. Winchester is only 3 miles away and is a stunning City with plenty of lovely restaurants, theatre, cinema, a market on Saturday and some lovely boutiques. The house is perfectly located for discovering the New Forest, Salisbury, Stonehenge and the South Coast amongst other beautiful villages and towns nearby. Stockbridge is a 10 minute drive away and is a stunning market town with lovely pubs and restaurants with galleries and shops to explore.
  • Very characterful old house, a bit chilly in winter but there were several portable heaters, plus the fireplace and aga which kept us cosy! Lots of space, so it was great for a big gathering. The village is lovely and I would recommend a trip to the Fox which did great food. Very easy check-in/check-out, and overall good value.

    Amelia2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect house for a family gathering, it was so cosy and has so much character, it's also very clean and spacious. Crawley is such a beautiful village, with an amazing pub that does the best Sunday Roast, IDYLLIC!!! And even with a storm raging outside I could not think of a place better to sit in front of a roaring fire and cook on an AGA with my family (also there so many toys inside to keep the kids entertained and a great garden outside for adults and kids ) - a BIG thumbs up! Would love to come back again in the Summer. Robin was a great and very receptive host.

    Louise2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • A charming, rustic getaway with ample space and lovely scenery. Eight of us spent three days here and enjoyed cooking meals on the aga, playing games around the kitchen table and going for some nice walks. The local pub (5 mins away) was fantastic too. Robin was quick to respond and left detailed notes about the property.

    Tamsin2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great property in a fantastic village with brilliant links to Winchester and it's Christmas markets. Shame we were there in the winter months as the kids would have loved to have a run around in the garden! A great stay enjoyed by all in our group. Using an Aga for the first time was quite the experience!

    Richard2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better venue to spend with my girls over the weekend. Beautiful property. Thanks!

    Amy2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. In the quietness of the countryside, and close enough to the village pub which doe great food. Particularly likes the cosy sitting room and lighting the fire on cold Oct days. Great host and easy check-in/out

    Geoff2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a beautiful English house in a picturesque English village then this is the one for you. The house is spotless and very well appointed. Huge garden and a great local pub cap it off. We will definitely be back!

    Sam2019-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • This house is quite outstanding. It's in a very peaceful location, surrounded by countryside, but very near to Winchester and other places to visit. There is lots of space, both inside and out, and it has a lovely atmosphere. It's both comfortable and inspiring. There is everything you need to feel at home, and it's particularly good for younger children - there are toys and special places for their use, plus a play area in the large garden. I have always found Robin to be a thoughtful and helpful host. I would recommend this home to everyone.

It was almost too big for me on my own, but that made it all the more luxurious. Communication with Joe was excellent, and check in process very easy. I will be staying again soon. Recommended.

  • I don’t think the pictures or description do full justice to this wonderful cottage. It was perfect for our needs (family of 4 with two children under 8 years old), and the fun board games and ample supply of firewood was an unexpected bonus. With older children, you might find dining together quite snug, but for us this wasn’t a problem. The bathroom downstairs (and in fact, the whole cottage) was meticulously clean, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.

  • We had a great stay over Christmas, everything was absolutely perfect, we especially loved the owls calling each other and opening the curtains on a couple of roe deer staring in at you in the morning. Beautiful cottage, beautiful location. Thanks

  • We had a fab stay at the lodge. It was perfect for the 4 of us. We chose it as a half way point between Devon & London to host a family Christmas get together. All amenities were as described, we cooked a full roast and everything we needed was there! The beds were super comfy. Fantastic lounge with open fire. The bathroom was decadent and functional. Overall very impressed, it was the cosy cottage in the countryside we were hoping for. Private parking and totally left to be self sufficient with great instructions on how everything worked. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

  • Just came back from a superb 2 night stay here with our 4 yr old and 6 month old children. We picked this place for its easy location to Peppa Pig world, and it really was an easy short drive! Leigh is a great host, little touches around the place like breakfast, milk, butter and croissants ready for when you arrive. She also popped up a travel cot and highchair for us so we had some room saved in the boot of the car for the rest of our belongings. Lord knows when you travel with children you basically bring your whole house bar the kitchen sink so this was a blessing. We popped to a local Aldi to grab some more supplies for our stay as found the local pubs abit over our budget. The kitchen in the annex has a travel hob and microwave so you can cook up a storm without the need for an oven. Perfect for us. Beds are super soft which I loved but not for all. Water comes out of the taps really really hot. Just something to be mindful of if your little ones like to try and wash their hands themselves. We highly recommend this place for a cosy, easy night away with easy location to Paultons Park. Wel be back ! Thanks again Leigh - all the best x the Bonds

    Danielle2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice accommodation. Everything is thought of to make you feel good. Lots of little touches awaited us in the kitchen. It was clean and big + for those with children, there were plenty of toys and books for working English. It is ideally located for visiting Winchester, Salisbury, Southampton and the New Forest. We recommend.

  • Great stay again will use again next year. It’s perfect for the 3 of us

    Rachel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Leigh’s place is a great spot for a couple of days away near to the New Forest with a family. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The annex was very clean. Our girls really enjoyed the basketful of toys and books. The beds were comfy and we all slept well. The little kitchen had just what we needed for making dinner and breakfast and the fresh eggs were delicious! Thanks so much for a very easy stay!

  • If your looking for somewhere to stay near to Peppa Pig world this is the perfect place. We stayed with our two daughters and the little touches for those with children was great! We felt safe with the gated access and the annex was clean and equip with everything you could need. We went to the local pub and the food was excellent.

    Geraldine2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely lovely place to stay. Highly recommended

    Stuart2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Leigh was super helpful and offered lots of insights to local area as well as being very attentive after I asked for her to look at a window we couldn’t lock. It was a beautiful rural setting and the annexe was quiet, clean and very nicely appointed with thoughtful little touches like a few kids books and toys that my daughter loved and some milk, eggs, bread and some chocolates. Despite Leigh being very much on hand if we needed, she was incredibly discreet and we had loads of privacy. Great stay in a lovely area.

Delightful country barn set in a quiet lane in the heart of the beautiful Hampshire village of Broughton. Vaulted ceiling living area for relaxing and dining complete with internet, smart TV (Netflix etc.) and desk. Well-equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave. Situated between the historic cities of Salisbury and Winchester and ideal for walkers with the Clarendon Way passing behind the property. Quiet location with small enclosed garden courtyard.
The Barn is a detached quiet annex suitable for overnight, weekend or longer breaks. Its location is ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat to relax or work with all modern amenities. We are also well positioned for those wishing to take in a little fly fishing on the River Test.
Broughton is conveniently situated midway between the historic cities of Salisbury and Winchester which are connected via the Clarendon Way long distance footpath. The footpath itself passes behind our property and provides a useful halfway stop-off point for weary travellers! Broughton is within easy reach of Stonehenge, Old Sarum and other ancient monument sites. It is only a few minutes drive from Mottisfont; a delightful National Trust property and, for those with very young children, Peppa Pig World is also within easy reach. Despite its easy connection to these places, Broughton itself is off the beaten track nestling under a beautiful local nature reserve, Broughton Down, which overlooks the village giving wonderful views across our Hampshire countryside. The village itself has a well-stocked shop and post office, an 11th century church and two popular and complimentary pubs; one very traditional serving excellent beers and food and the other specialising unusually in Thai cuisine.
  • I would really recommend a stay at Fiona and Graham’s place. The photos don’t do it justice and everything was perfect. Very accommodating hosts and a beautiful, clean, spacious barn with everything you could need and more, in a lovely setting.

    Florence2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Fiona and Graham’s barn was absolutely lovely, even nicer than the pictures. Graham met us on check in and everything down to milk in the fridge was thought of! There’s a nice community shop and the tally ho pub just a few minutes walk away which was great! My partners a wheelchair user and accessibility was also great in the barn, all step free, normal and fold down grab rails in the bathroom and plenty of space - we look forward to coming back

    Charlotte2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Second time here and just as good as we remembered. Clean, warm and homely. We had not planned on Storm Dennis playing havoc with the weather and our host came to the rescue with torch and camp stove when we lost power so we could at least have hot tea and soup. They could not have done more to try and help! The skylights let in so much natural light we didn't miss the electricity and the Barn is so well equipped we never got bored - we played Scrabble and cards and built Lego models. This really is a beautiful place to relax and unwind! Thank you again Graham and Fiona for being fantastic hosts!!!

    Michael2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

Lovely place to stay, very clean, cosy and stylish. Lovely modern kitchen and bathroom, with a comfy bed. Would highly recommend!

  • We stayed for a short relaxing break and we got a wonderful time. The place is beautiful, spacious, cosy, and perfectly clean. The country and the village are lovely, and the area very quiet, with nice weather it must be very nice to take a walk through nature. We went for a lunch at the Tally Ho, a very cosy country pub in the village, which we highly reccommend. Fiona and Graham were very nice hosts, five stars!

  • Heather's place was perfect for the two of us. Situated on a quiet lane in beautiful surroundings and in close proximity to Romsey, it is definitely the best Airbnb we have stayed in thus far. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome by Heather and Ian and, as other reviewers have commented, the fresh flowers, homemade scones and bread really added that special touch. The annex was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay, including access to a plug enabling us to charge our electric car. We were able to come and go as we pleased and if storm Dennis had allowed, we would have explored the local footpaths and woodland which lie a stones throw away from the property.

Double Room in Character Cottage in the Beautiful Test Valley with Breakfast
Welcome to our lovely 1890 cottage with a small but very comfortable guest bedroom in the heart of the Test Valley, just a moments’ walk from the Test Way, 15 minutes walk from the Clarendon Way, and with a beautiful view out over the fields opposite. Canal Cottage is an unusually airy and bright property with lovely high ceilings and lots of charm. We are in a small village with a pub surrounded by beautiful countryside, set mid-way between Romsey and Stockbridge, there are many lovely villages, country pubs, fabulous walks and cycleways within the vicinity. We are close to Winchester, Salisbury and the New Forest all being around 30 mins drive.
Julie’s house is located less than a minute’s walk away from the renowned Test Way, and the Test River runs right through the little village.
  • All as described. Lovely accommodation. Got a good night's sleep followed by a good breakfast. Recommended.

  • This cottage is in a lovely quiet location and was as charming as the photo suggests. Julie and Emma were friendly and I went straight to my room so that I could do a Skype session. The room had all the necessary facilities including a hot chocolate sachet which a lot don't have. The shower was fine and breakfast had a choice of cereals, fruit and yogurt. All in all it was a lovely area and a cosy stay. I would definitely stay there again.

    Carol2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Julie and Emma are friendly, welcoming hosts and we highly recommend them. We stayed with them while attending our friends wedding at Horsebridge Station, which is 2 mins walk away. We loved our cuddles with Maddison, their very friendly cat. Their house was really clean, with a powerful shower, comfy bed and lots of thoughtful touches. The cooked breakfast was very much appreciated, especially the tasty bacon from their own pigs. Communication was quick and easy. This is one of our best AirBnB experiences. Thank you so much for having us. x

    Emma2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment we arrived at this idyllic Hampshire cottage on Friday lunchtime in June 2019, to the minute we left roughly 48 hours later, staying at Julie (and Emma’s) felt like staying with friends. They are the most welcoming, friendly, helpful and interesting hosts, what more could you ask for from an Air BnB? Their abode is super clean, full of character, and home to their beautiful cat Maddison. The guest bedroom is very cute, on the front of the house, with a slim wardrobe, the perfect size for the room and ideal to hang up a few choice outfits. Their bathroom has a huge shower, perfect to clear the head, whilst their complimentary breakfast adds much needed fuel to the body. My husband and I were in Horsebridge for a wedding and travelled down a day earlier to sample the delights of the Hampshire countryside, in particular, a portion of the Test Way, a popular jaunt in the local area. Emma and Julie gave us advice on which route to take and gave us the heads up on the best places to eat in the local area. As it’s the countryside, you won’t be surprised to read that Emma and Julie have pigs, cows and sheep that they tend to, animals that are in a small field behind their house. Ask them nicely and they might just introduce you to them… I cannot think of a reason to not stay here if you’re in the area.

  • We enjoyed a very comfortable stop over whilst walking the Clarendon Way and received a very warm and friendly welcome. Highly recommended.

  • If you look at the pictures there should be no surprises here. It is a well presented space with lots of nice touches. We were visiting friends and family and just needed a clean bed and breakfast space and this more than fulfilled our expectations. Linda responded quickly to any communications and we look forward to returning in the future.

Foxglove is a annex to Bluebells, set on a busy family run working farm. Guests are welcome to get involved with feeding times and a farm tour is available on request.
Foxglove has its own private water supply.
Romsey is perfect for exploring not only the Hampshire countryside but also the New Forest National Park, the historic cities of Winchester and Salisbury, and the Dorset coastline. Stonehenge is about half an hour away, with other nearby attractions including Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World, the Army Air Museum, Highclere Castle, Thruxton Races, Marwell Zoo and the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu House.
  • Foxglove was a great little base for our stay in Hampshire visiting family and exploring the many things to do. Thank you so much for letting the children collect the eggs and see the lovely animals. They loved it so much. Foxglove was cosy and comfy (great to have two sofas) and lovely comfy beds. You kindly let us know a man was coming to tinker with the taps while we were out and it was sorted extremely efficiently and without any effect on us. A lovely spot

The Pump House is located down a farm track set within a beautiful, peaceful Hampshire valley. It's the perfect location for those who enjoy walking, being in the countryside or just peace and quiet. Convenient to Winchester, it's also close to the picturesque village of Stockbridge and 15 minutes drive to the market town of Romsey. The renowned Test Way is within 5 minutes drive away. Fishing, horse riding, golf and clay pigeon shooting are all readily available. Pets are welcome.
The Pump House is unique in its location. It's very tranquil and you are more likely to hear an owl hooting than the noises usually associated with humankind! If you come during harvest (July-September), then you might hear tractors and a combine harvester at work.
The Pump House is ideal if you like tranquility and/or if you like walking. You can literally step outside the front door and you will have many options for walking available, without having to go on a road at all. You will be walking in beautiful Hampshire countryside as well as looking at unspoilt scenic views! It really is a very special location.
  • A lovely secluded place for a break. Off the beaten track enough to feel you are then only people in the world but only 5 mins drive (45mins walk) from the village. The farm track to it is pretty rutted and does get boggy in the rain but no match for our little chevrolet spark so cant be too bad. Lovely walks nearby and welcoming to pooches. Both pubs nearby also serve stellar food at reasonable prices and are dog friendly. Thank you Grace for a lovely stay and for getting the Storm Ciara felled tree dealt with so quickly.

    Kelly2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Very relaxing environment in a great location for walks and nature. Appears isolated but people not far away. Warm, dry and comfortable accommodation.

    Jacqueline2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great time in the pump house and perfect with dog. There are great hiking opportunities and you are right in the nature. As the weather was very rainy, we were glad to have an SUV to get to Pump House well. We would definitely come again!

    Anna2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • The house was good, clean and tidy. Shower and bathroom were very good and beds comfortable. The key safe and handover were very smooth. As the bedroom is a non enclosed mezzanine its probably best just for couples or just 2 people (if not a couple.) The track going to the house is long (about 3/4 of a mile) and very rutted. We had a 4x4 so it was fine for us but would be much cautious in my BMW.

    Powerlogistics2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • The pumphouse was a great well equipped wee place, perfect for getting away from it all! Very clean and tidy with everything you could need. We had a lovely few days away with our two dogs who enjoyed it as well!

    Kevin2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • From making the booking to leaving the pump house, everything was perfect; from the directions given by Grace to the perfect house with all of the homely touches (including the comfiest bed ever!) We really can't wait to come back to the pump house. If you are looking for a remote (very remote!) cottage with so much around to explore within walking or driving distance then you absolutely need to book here!!! Thank you Grace! Stables cottage was built in 1863 and over the years has had many uses including the stabling of horses to support the busy canal and Horsebridge railway station. Most recently the cottage has been loving restored into a cosy home and modern holiday destination. The cottage is situated in the heart of a small hamlet called Horsebridge, which nestles in the Somborne area, next to the River Test (best known for the famous fly fishing enjoyed by all, including Royals.)
As soon as you arrive at the cottage you will notice the peaceful surroundings and be drawn in by the delights of English bird song and the adjacent rippling river. Getting cosy in front of the free standing wood burner makes our cottage perfect for romantic getaways or sit outside on the swing seat in the garden, to rest after a long walk on the beautiful Test Way. The cottage boasts a well equipped kitchen for preparing delicious meals or you could step out of the front door and treat yourself to a home cooked meal at the traditional freehold John O Gaunt Inn. We would request that the cottage is a totally non smoking area and welcome a well behaved dog (please bring your fury friend's own bedding and towels.)
The area has superb walking and cycling routes through the beautiful English countryside including the Test and Clarendon Way. These routes link you into many areas such as Stockbridge, Kings Sombourne, Winchester and Salisbury. Alternatively, you are only a short drive to attractions such as Mottisfont Abbey and Stonehenge (National Trust sites). The local town of Stockbridge has an excellent range of eateries and amenities such as a small supermarket and butcher. Romsey and Broadland estate are also worth a visit, if you have the time time to explore a little further afield. One of our favourite walks is to the town of Stockbridge and takes about 1 hour. The local pub is within crawling distance and sells real ales and home made food. If your interests include fly fishing there is a local facility called the John O' Gaunt Lakes , which allows you to fly fish on a daily basis with a licence (bought from the post office in Kings Somborne). You will need to provide your own fishing equipment.

  • We had a wonderful night's stay here, we wanted somewhere close to Peppa Pig World that was suitable for two young children. The accommodation was perfect for this. Deceptively large space, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, and a good selection of breakfast items provided. Loved the special touch of a packet of Percy Pig sweets left for my son with the message 'A present from Peppa Pig' on them. Very thoughtful. Hosts were friendly and replied in super quick time to messages. Check in was simple and good directions were given. Couldn't fault it, wish we had stayed an extra night! Thank you

Blacklake Barn is a delightful self contained annex with two bedrooms, a sitting room, shower room, and kitchen and breakfast area. For colder months, there is a very efficient wood burner in the sitting room as well as central heating in all of the rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped so self catering is an option. English breakfast ingredients such as bacon and eggs (all locally sourced) can also be provided (at cost) for guests to cook for themselves and cereal, bread, butter and jam and honey. Please let your host know your requirements on booking. There are two bedrooms, one double with a super king size bed and one single with a single bed and a mattress is also available. Please note this property is not suitable for children under 4.
We are located very close to the River Test, famed for its world class crystal clear waters and excellent fly fishing. Stockbridge with its excellent shops, restaurants and pubs is only 3 miles away. Stonehenge, the cathedral towns of Winchester and Salisbury are all within half an hour of the Barn.
  • We had a fabulous week staying here. The cottage was great for the 3 of us and our dog. It’s situated perfectly for long walks, mountain biking or just relaxing. An easy walk to the Boot inn for Sunday lunch and close to other great places to visit. The garden was secure so there was no worry that our dog would escape, in fact he had a great time playing with Ingrid and Charles little dog. The house is well kitted out and we were easily able to prepare meals and even wash clothes after a long muddy walk. The wood burner is an added bonus on a dark cold evening. We would happily return here.

  • We enjoyed a very relaxing, peaceful break over a long weekend. The garden is much bigger than expected and secure for our two little dogs to roam at leisure, and play with the owner’s dog, Poppy. There is also parking onsite immediately next to the property, so it was very easy to unload and reload the car. The kitchen is very well equipped, we hope to come back one day and make use of the cheese fondue kit! WiFi fast and reliable. I know some other people had commented that it was hard to find - but we found Ingrid’s directions to be very detailed and we had no issue finding the property. Thank you Charles and Ingrid for a wonderful stay. Best Sarah and Geoff (+ Russell and Tilly 🐶)

  • The barn is a cosy, very comfortable stay with a warm welcome provided by host Debbie, who kindly allowed us an early check in after a long haul flight. A delicious cream tea was provided and very pleasant surroundings made for a relaxing stay. Loved the tranquility.

  • Lovely place to stay, lots of lovely touches and things in draws that would come in helpful for many. We have two young children so the children Cutlery, plates etc was a bonus and the toy basket was played with a lot ( as other toys are much better than your own!) we got a Indian from Winchester which was lovely and unfortunately we tried to go to the plough inn which many people seemed to enjoy but it was being refurbed which was a shame , but just one of those things ! Thanks for a delightful stay and the Halloween treats went down well with out little boy. We will be back in a couple of years when we our youngest is older and we do Paultons Theme Park round 2 !

  • Myself and my husband stayed for the Xmas period and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lana and Les have everything available you could think of. We were able to cook our Xmas meal and have the pleasure of being able to watch Sky movies. Highly recommend a stay. Even though Lana and Les where away at the time communication was not an issue and they responded promptly through the Airbnb app.
