  • We had a lovely break at the cottage over half term with our two children. The cottage was clean and had the essentials needed for our stay. Only thing I would say is that the road to access the property had a lot of large pot holes which made it difficult to navigate- particularly in the dark!!

    Natalie2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely place to stay. The location was perfect with horses in the field and a guinea foul who visited our door. The kids loved it as they could wander up the path to the horses on their own. A great place to stay and we will definitely be back.

  • This is a lovely comfortable, warm home from home type of place. Immaculately presented and close to loads of great places.

  • Brilliant place. Great hosts. Place was spotless. Peace and quiet. Will defo be back.

  • Clean and spacious. The hosts left us to our own devices and although the lodge is attached to the main house we felt like we had lots of privacy.

    Jana2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Cleanest place we have ever stayed in as a family. Children had a fantastic time. Property was well situated for local amenities to the area. Plenty to do even in the winter over new year. Offered some fantastic suggestions on walks and places to visit with the children. Property was a lot bigger than expected from the photos. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

This stunning quaint property is wrapped in 12 acres of private nature filled woodland. With a short walk to hundreds of acres and lakes of Bawsey Country Park. From an open fire to a luxurious hot tub. This wonderful property is about finding time to relax, unwind and make happy memories from beautiful walks that end with a cup of tea as the dog lays in front of the Aga, to stargazing the night sky with perhaps a glass of bubbly while relaxing in the hot tub.
Paradise is situated in private woodlands which is shared with one other property, but is accessed by its own completely separate driveway and front door. Both properties having their own private gardens and hot tubs. Paradise is surrounded by nature and backing onto one of the most breath-taking Country parks.
Nature, privacy, luxury and fun. Its about relaxation and creating an experience that will remain with you for a lifetime and hopefully be the first of many visits. We have succeeded if you are coming back to recharge with us in years to come.
  • We spent two nights at Stephens Lodge and our contact Jane went above and beyond to ensure our stay went as smooth as possible even when things out of our hands went wrong! There are lovely little touches in around the lodge to make your stay so easy, especially if you are bringing a dog with you. It’s these little things that really count. The walk around the lake was as wonderful as depicted in the pictures and we were very fortunate with the weather. The fireplace at night time made for a great cosy feature to really help us all relax. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials and we found cooking large evening meals for 4 people very easy. The hot tub is the icing on the cake, perfect temperatures even in the cold evening chill. We did not venture out apart from our lake walk as the property was just too nice to want to leave. Would definitely return. Thank you!

  • Lovely little place with a gorgeous lake just behind the property for a scenic walk!

    Kristen2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the cottage was very relaxing, everything we need to get away from life stresses. We enjoyed everything that was on offer! the hot tub we ideal every morning and evening under the stars.

    Aimie2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for a getaway, so relaxing. Exactly what we needed to zen out. Loved that it was hidden away behind a main road, this made it hard to find but allowed us to be in our own little world almost.

    Jenna2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • What a magical place. Stephen & Jane were lovely hosts and their cottage was just what we needed for a relaxing break. Communication was great throughout the entire booking process and during our stay. accommodating hosts whose special touches are much appreciated -thank you! You are surrounded by nature everywhere you turn: the beautiful Lake just one minutes walk away, deer greeting you as you open your curtains in the morning and looking up at the stars on a clear night while soaking in the hot tub. So magical! The cottage itself is clean, warm and cosy with a fireplace in the living room (wood was provided for us on the first night). The kitchen is well equipped with all you need - tea and coffee and even a bottle of wine was waiting for us on arrival - lovely touch. The beds were a comfortable place to rest your head after a day going on walks and there a was ample space to store your things. The Bawsey church ruins are just 10-15 minute walk away, Sainsbury’s is a 5 minute drive. This is a lovely spot to relax and it exceeded our expectations! Thank you both so much - we would love to return again soon!

  • Had a wonderful, everything was ready and clean. The location was fantastic and was amazing for the dog to have a run around the lake. Then to come back to a nice hot tub was a great end to the day!

    Aaron2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Overall a great stay. An amazingly comfy bed and a nice location for local amenities and walks however the property was very close to the main road so it didn't feel as tucked away as advertised.

    Dan2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is a lovely place to stay especially if you enjoy sitting by a log fire, chilling in a hot tub or going on pretty walks! The lake is only a minute walk to get to and is roughly 3 miles long. Stephen is great at getting back to you promptly! Cottage was also well equipped and comes with everything you would need + more!

  • Don't be misled by the photos. It's even nicer in real life! A great size room that is set out very comfortably with lots of little touches. The Wi-Fi worked well, I add that as I've had issues at other places I've stayed. It's great having a little fridge (with a pint of milk I) available for use and the selection of teas, coffees and breakfast things were great. The bathroom is very clean and spacious, plenty of towels available for use. What was really useful were the photos Rob put on the check in. As the flat is off the main square it's not obvious where it is but the photos helped tremendously and the instructions of what to do when you arrive were spot on. I'm already booked in again.

    Barbara2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Rob’s place for 2 nights. He made every aspect of the stay very convenient. He sent me clear easy instructions to follow to find the place. The place is very clean, tidy and nicely decorated. I found everything that I could need there and more. Excellent heating and WiFi too. Barely any noise and blinds to block light entering the room. The area is nice and safe. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Rob’s place for anyone staying in the area.

    Osama2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Rob places is ideally situated in the heart of King's Lynn. Close to all the facilities the room itself is extremely clean warm and cosy. Would highly recommend and use again.

  • This place is well presented and comfortable and was a great size for our family of five. The owners made us feel very welcome. It is the short hop to the lake that makes this place special.

  • We had a wonderful stay! House was more than comfortable for the friends I had there with me, we had a few lovely fires and cooked lots of nice food. The lake near by is stunning and can imagine In the summer with all the sand there it’s amazing! We actually visited in storm Dennis but that didn’t stop us in the hot tub. We had a very good meal at the sandy boy the local pub and have great food at a fish and chip shop called Eric’s. Plus fab beaches close by. What a wonderful 35th birthday weekend away! Will be back and thanks for the owners for getting back to us quickly with questions and just been good hosts! Dale

  • Great home, well equipped and comfortable. Lovely woodland straight from the garden, muntjac and pheasant regularly spotted. We found this a good base from which to explore North Norfolk. Weather was grim, but it didn't matter to us as we had a cosy space to relax in when we'd had enough of wet and windy walks!

This is a spacious and light studio in a Georgian townhouse in the centre of historic King's Lynn. You have a shower room and loo and your own kitchen. The bed is a proper size double sofa bed, easy to use. Daytime sofa and bed at night. You have your own front door. Very good wi-fi. It is an easy walk from the rail and bus station. There are great restaurants close by. I want to make your stay pleasant but I will not be a "hands on" host though we live upstairs and can easily be contacted.
Location, location, location! All shops, pubs, restaurants, a local bakery, museums, cinema, theatre and rail and train stations are so close. Minutes in most cases. If you enjoy history and architecture then you are right in the heart of this lovely historic town.
King's Lynn is an undiscovered historic town with museums to visit, a couple of art galleries, an excellent theatre and independent cinema. There are great places to eat out and also the ever reliable Wetherspoons a couple of minutes away from my studio flat. Our large river changes with the tides and attracts seabirds and the occasional seal. You will be close to the beautiful Norfolk coast, just catch a Coastliner bus or for a more rugged walk along the Wash edge, take the West Lynn ferry for the Peter Scott Walk. We are very close to Sandringham House and other stately homes - Houghton and Holkham. King's Lynn is still a town with an individual character and we like visitors to see what we offer. You will be charmed by the riverside streets where my studio is located.

This is a cosy single room in my Grade 1 listed house in the heart of historic King's Lynn's. It's under 15 minutes' walk from the train and bus stations, and a stone's throw from the Minster, Saturday Market Place and the river. You'll share a bathroom with walk-in shower and underfloor heating with me. You'll also have access to the kitchen-diner, where you're welcome to help yourself to breakfast, tea and coffee. There's a desk on the landing should you wish to work while you are here.
The quiet courtyard where my house stands dates back to 1340: my part was built in 1600. It's a Tudor-style house, with some exposed beams and an original fireplace, in the heart of Kings Lynn's historic quarter. There's free overnight parking between 6pm and 8am on a single yellow line, while I'm 10 minutes walk from the bus and train stations, with connections across Norfolk and the south-east.
The house is in the historic centre of King's Lynn, a charming medieval market town: we're a stone's throw from the Saturday Marketplace, the Minster and the waterfront. Places to eat include the Bank House and Marriott's, while there's a charming, olde worlde pub, Live and Let Live, on Windsor Road. The shops, supermarkets and cafes of the High Street are just minutes away.

A classic riverside apartment with four-poster king bed and a sofa bed (for a total of 4 guests). Literally just steps away from the quayside of the River Great Ouse, where working vessels, leisure cruisers and seagulls mingle on this most romantic area of the town's riverside. Perfect to stay for the town's entertainment and festivals, this deluxe apartment (with separate kitchen and large bathroom) overlooks St. George's Guildhall - Britain's oldest working theatre with links to Shakespeare.
Stay and experience the many delights of the historic market town of King's Lynn, our stylish spacious accommodation being situated just off the Tuesday Market Place in the centre of town - one of the largest open market places in Europe.
Food lovers are in for a real treat as the Riverside Restaurant is on the same quiet cobbled courtyard of the town as the apartment - so you don't have to travel far for a superb high quality menu of food and wine (though the town itself has no shortage of other great food and drink venues within a 2-minute walk from the accommodation and beyond).

Lovely one bedroom cottage in a fantastic location in the heart of historic King's Lynn and a minutes walk from the quayside.
Gardeners cottage is situated in the historic part of King's Lynn and is within easy access of all the town's most popular tourist attractions and places of interest. The cottage is on one level with an open plan kitchen and living area and benefits from a secure courtyard which is ideal for well behaved dogs and children to enjoy. As well as lots of character, Gardeners Cottage benefits from a lovely new kitchen and bathroom. Gardeners Cottage is perfect for those wanting a quiet retreat to soak up some of King's Lynn's history.
Nelson Street is situated in the historic part of King's Lynn and is surrounded by places of interest. Wander down the cobbled streets towards the Quayside where you will find places to eat and drink or head towards the Minster to take you to a large selection of shops.
  • What a wonderful find - would recommend to anyone that wants to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy the bars and restaurants or a walk along the quay and Lynns many other sights

  • Fantastic location for exploring King’s Lynn and surrounds. I am originally from the town so this was wonderful to experience living right on the quay. Instructions were sent a couple of days in advance and self check in was easy. We were welcomed by fairy lights lighting the windows and a lovely warm and clean space. The car park is very close and you can pay by an app and for the entire stay, which was very reasonable (cheap if you are from London like me!) Dog friendly too, private courtyard and well equipped kitchen. Just lovely and recommend and would book again!

  • Stayed here two nights for a relaxing getaway and couldn’t recommend this place more. Very quick responses from Georgie ahead of our stay and some great recommendations. The check in process was really easy and explained a few days before our arrival. The place itself is lovely inside, very cosy and spotless. We loved the extra touch of chocolates and bubbles as well, thank you!

This flat is located in the Grade 1 listed building Hanse House. It is opposite the Minster and a minutes walk from the town centre. We have a bar and bistro in the same building which is located along the Quayside. This is the perfect spot for tourists, history enthusiasts, guests for functions around the town or anyone looking to stay in the heart of King's Lynn!
The flat overlooks the historic cobbled streets of King's Lynn and the courtyard at the Hanse House. The flat is quite airy and is in the same building as The Rathskeller bar and bistro which quite often has live music at the weekend.
King's Lynn is famous for it's historic buildings and you will be staying in the last surviving Hanseatic Warehouse in the UK!

My historic, timber-framed house is tucked away in the heart of medieval Kings Lynn, 15 minutes walk from the bus and railway stations. This upstairs double bedroom is sweet and bright with windows on two sides and a 5-foot bed. You'll have your own private bathroom, with shower, tub and WC. There are tea and coffee-making facilities in the room, and you're welcome to help yourself to breakfast in the kitchen. The room has ample storage and a table to work at.
The quiet courtyard where my house stands dates back to 1340: my part was built in 1600. It's a Tudor-style house, with some exposed beams and an original fireplace, in the heart of Kings Lynn's historic quarter. The room is light, bright and airy, with windows on two sides, and a five-foot bed. It has good bedside lights for reading, plus tea and coffee facilities, plenty of storage and a work-friendly table for business travellers. You'll have exclusive use of the bathroom next door, which has a shower, tub and WC. Just 10 minutes from the bus station and 15 minutes from the railway station, but in the heart of the historic centre, this is a great base to explore King's Lynn and Norfolk in general. You're a stone's throw from the Tuesday Marketplace, Custom House, King's Lynn Minster and the waterfront.
King's Lynn is a medieval market town in the heart of Norfolk. Set on a tidal river, with its own small port and fishing fleet, it offers easy access to West Norfolk's beaches, stately homes and bird reserves. The town holds a poetry festival in March, Festival Too and the Kings Lynn Festival in July, and a Heritage Open Day in September: there are events most weekends in the summer. My house, in a quiet courtyard in the historic centre of town, is less than 10 minutes walk from the marketplace where these events are held. We are 50 yards from the quayside, which offers a good range of places to eat. King's Lynn is the transport hub of north and west Norfolk. It makes a great base for exploring stately homes, including Sandringham, the Queen's Christmas residence, Houghton and Holkham halls. North-West Norfolk is home to a number of wetland reserves and water meadows. Knots fly in spectacular formations at Snettisham, swans come to Welney in winter, while Dersingham Bog has nightjars. During autumn and winter we see dramatic migrations. The coast near here is famous: Blakeney Point has a grey seal population, while Holkham Beach starred in Shakespeare in Love.
  • The second time I’ve stayed with Helen as she’s a lovely host and the location is in close proximity of where I need to be.

  • This house is perfectly located in the centre of Kings Lynn and therefore a stones throw from pubs, restaurants, amenities and historical places of interest. Helen is a very outgoing, friendly and interesting host and I felt perfectly at home during my stay. The room rates are great value for money and therefore very much recommended!

    Charles2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Helen is a very gracious and welcoming host. She was very knowledgeable about the historic town of Kings Lynn; and made us feel very comfortable, happy to either chat or leave us to our own devices. it's a wonderful opportunity to stay in total comfort in a historic building, right in the centre of the old town.

    Stephen2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • It's always great staying with Helen!

    Vicente2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Helen's place is the ideal stay and Helen is a wonderful host. The historic property is less than a minute's walk from the Minster and the river, and no more than 15 minutes' walk from the station. It is full of period charm, spotlessly clean and decorated in a tasteful, cosy fashion. The bed was incredibly comfortable!! The breakfast provided was delicious and there was a selection of tea and coffee available in the bedroom upon our arrival. While Helen was very respectful of our privacy, she was also more than happy to talk to us about Lynn's fascinating history. All in all, our stay with Helen added hugely to our enjoyment of the trip!

    Joe2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a place with history, Helen's is definitely worth the stay! We spent 2nights, Helen was a wonderful host with so much knowledge of the area. Our stay was amazing.

    Kim2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Helen is a wonderful host. She responds very quickly to enquiries, is very welcoming, friendly and sociable and extremely knowledgeable about the local area and its history. Her home is a stunning example of a period property and has a very interesting history. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed (the bed is one of the comfiest I've ever slept in away from home) and everything is immaculately clean. Her property is ideally located in a lovely area near the river and close to the the centre of King’s Lynn. If you don't want to cook, there are plenty of places to eat nearby and if you like craft ales and ciders, the "Nip and Growler" is only a short walk away. There is ample overnight parking for a couple of pounds just around the corner and free (though limited) evening/overnight parking on the street just outside of her home. Heartily recommended!

    Graeme2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • Helen was a delightful host and the accomodation, facilities and breakfast (especially the marmelade on toast!) were excellent. Parking is just around the corner and is very cheap. Helen's wonderful home is centraln and only minutes by foot from the shops and sights.

We live in a small village 5 mins drive from King's Lynn. There are a few local shops- a post office, general store, lovely fish and chip shop ( that also does pizza and kebabs), a hairdresser opposite which the owner uses and recommends and of course the amazing butcher that people travel from all over King's Lynn to visit and buy their meat. You can get takeaway deliveries- Domino, Pizza Hut, Indian- the only thing we would like is for you to eat in the dining area instead of rooms (or outside of course). If we are away we have a neighbour feed them in the morning and evening but if you wish to do this and avoid being disturbed please let us know. As we have cats, we ask you not to bring any pets with you- sorry! Babies/ children of all ages very welcome however single room not big enough for travel cot. Child could however stay in room if parent/s have booked the double.
  • Debbi and Gary are exceptional hosts. Warm and welcoming and go above and beyond what is expected. Gary drove me around to get fish and chips!! • They are so kind and hospitable. Even though I woke up at 6 am, John’s wife woke up as well just to make me breakfast and gave me a disposable cup for my tea as I rush for the bus. On the second stay a week later, because I forgot mine, she lent me an eye patch so I could sleep. The whole family is also very welcoming and they have a very lovely place. The Next time I need a BnB in King’s Lynn, I’ll definitely check their place first. Highly recommend!

  • Lovely decor and we were welcomed with beautiful vase of red roses on the table . We were very comfortable and enjoyed the great location . Clare communicated promptly and gave clear directions and instructions for the key safe . Clare kindly left milk in the fridge and there was plenty of tea and coffee . We liked the fact Clare even left chargers to borrow in case you forgot to pack your own and other items . We will definitely would like to stay again and will be referring Clare’s flat to our family and friends .

  • A lovely apartment which is ideally placed for central King’s Lynn. All the info I needed was set out and the biscuits were a nice welcoming touch. It was spotlessly clean and quiet, which was important for me as I was staying for work reasons. I also found the bed really comfortable for my back. I would definitely stay again.

    Diana2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Very modern, well appointed accommodation within easy walking distance of King's Lynn railway station and town centre. Low cost parking is available a couple of hundred metres away. Easy check-in/access - electronic codes for the front door and room(s) are sent to you by the host. Very secure - in addition to the coded locks, CCTV is in place in the hallway and communal areas. The property has full kitchen facilities and bathrooms with bath and shower. There are four rooms in total, with two shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen. If you're not the sociable type, it may not be the ideal place for you, however, during my stay the other guests (who were staying on a longer-term basis) were very friendly and had an interesting and unusual occupation! Helen is an excellent host - she provided all of the information I could have needed and responds very quickly to queries.

    Sarah2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • The host organised everything very well so that I could come anytime I wanted, even midnight after 0 am. He gave me a proper instruction to come in. By the way, I failed to download the instruction. When I arrived at the site, the website of Airbnb became unavailable whatever the reason was. That was devastating as I needed to be outside in a very freezing condition. Then, I needed to ask the host to be available. He kindly let me be in any way without any negative expression. I thank him for his hospitality.

  • AMAZING!!! words actually fail me, John allowed me a very late check in (0500) and agreed to a later than usual checkout. The farmhouse has plenty of land/pond even saw a crane fly from the pond. The room is a large ensuite with an amazing comfy bed so much so I hardly moved. I wasn't able to taste the cooked breakfast but fingers crossed I will on my next visit. Plenty of parking space. John's place definitely comes recommended. Thanks John

  • What a place. Nice, cozy and warm. While it is a small space, it’s very well set. There’s a kettle but no cups or spoons so don’t forget them. The microwave oven is a great idea but once again, no plates or forks. The bed and sofa are very nice. All in all, we will be back.

Three storey, mid terraced Edwardian house opposite The Walks of Kings Lynn, a Regency park. Ten minute walk from the town centre, train and bus station. Street parking, Wi-fi available, solar panels. Sorry, no space for dogs. Please check map, we are Tennyson road, not Avenue, which is over the railway line.
We live in a mid terrace 108yr old property, with views over a large park called The Walks. You have a Double bedroom next to a bathroom with a shower over the bath and heated towel rails. There is a wardrobe and comfy bed in the room with 2 chairs and bedside lights. The room is towards the back of the house so is lovely and quiet. There's tea/coffee making facilities in your room too. One or two person occupancy same price. Wi-Fi available and DVD player in sitting room, sorry no TV.
There are many historical parts to kings Lynn including Medieval area, Trues yard and the South Quay. Train access to Cambridge and London and buses to Norwich and surrounding area. Plenty of places to eat in town with a Spar shop and fish and chips a 1 minute walk down the road.
  • Lovely stay at Sara's place. Warm and cosy and great access to town centre. Sara very friendly and helpful and nice breakfast.

  • Sara and Johnathon were welcoming and friendly. The house and room were very nice, with some nice touches. Good, flexible breakfast! They were helpful with storing my bike securely and particularly helpful in allowing me to leave luggage until my afternoon train trip. Recommended!
