This City Loft has five bedrooms each with double beds, one single bed,one couche and a spacious living room for 12 guests. It has three separate toilets and two separate showers. The loft is in two floors. It has a direct private access to the rooftop (shared). City Loft is located in the city center/ oldtown.

A unique rooftop with a view of Basel. And the best part is, it is located on a 30km/h street in the center of Basel. On the other side of the building is the city, with the city "noise". In addition, it has all the modern facilities, including free fast Wi-Fi access. There is an open kitchen with dishwasher and a spacious dining area, a bathroom with bathtub, a shower and three toilets on two floors. All five double bedrooms are located in two floors. The main double room has its own TV. For more guests, a inflatable bed and sofa are available. The rooftop pool has a direct access from the penthouse and is open 24 hours. The pool is 12 meters long, 5 meters wide and 1.80 meters deep. The pool is shared with another apartment, which has its own direct access to the rooftop. Each apartment has its own 50sq rooftop area with tables with chairs. Only the pool is shared.

Museums, Nightlife, Restaurants, Bars, Café and Sightseeing are just around the corner. There is a public car parking (Address: Steinen Parking, Auberg 2a, 4051 Basel) just 2 minutes walk from the loft, fee is 30.- per day. There is no private parking space by the apartment. There are a few public parking spaces at Kohlenberggasse but they are not for free you need to pay the meter per hour. On weekends, you might hear the sound of the city as we are located in the city center. ***Baselworld and ARTBasel Guests take the Tram from Barfüsserplatz to the exhibition square (8minutes ride). The Tramstation is 3minutes walk from the flat.

This very exclusive three double bedroom penthouse apartment, in collaboration with Vitra, has a huge 100sq living room and an open kitchen that can accommodate up to 14 people. It has its private access to the loft and to the 12-meter-long pool on the 50sq rooftop. It is situated in the city center.

A unique rooftop with the overview of Basel. And best of all, it is in the downtown Basel in a 30 km/ h street. On the other side of the building is the city, with the city "noise". This condo has its own entrance to over 220sq meters of loft. In addition, it has all modern facilities, free fast WiFi access included. There is a large washing machine and dryer, an open kitchen with dishwasher and a spacious dining area, a large bathroom with bath and shower and two separate toilets on two floors. All three double bedrooms are located on the first floor. In one of the large bedrooms, there are two double beds. For additional guests, three air beds and two sofabeds are available. The rooftop pool has a direct access from the penthouse and is open 24 hours. The pool is 12 meters long, 5 meters wide and 1.80 meters deep. The pool is shared with another apartment, which has its own direct access to the rooftop. Each apartment has its own 50sq rooftop area with tables with chairs. Only the pool and the gas-grill is shared.

Museums, nightlife, restaurants, bars, café and sightseeing are just around the corner. On the weekends you can hear the sound of the city as we are in the city center. There is a public parking (address: Steinen parking, Auberg 2a, 4051 Basel) is located just 2 minutes from the loft, fee is 30.- per day. There is no private car park from the apartment. There are a few public parking spaces in Kohlenberggasse, with no parking meter, free of charge. *** Baselworld and ArtBasel guests can take the tram from Barfüsserplatz to Messeplatz (8 minutes tramdrive). To rent three individual rooms in the second floor of an old house with garden located in the centre of the city. Room N°1 can be rent for 3 nights or more Rooms N°2 and 3 can be rent for one or more nights Rooms N°1 and N°2 have a double bed (two persons) and Room N°3 has two individual beds. The price is for one room per night regardless of the presence of one or two person(s). To be added is a compulsory tax of 4.00 CHF (City of Basel) per person per day (From the 1st of September 2018 this tax will be paid directly by Airbnb to the City of Basel for those hosts who book a room from the 1st of September 2018 onwards). This includes a daily ticket for all the public transports of Basel, a ticket from the Basel-Mulhouse Airport or the Train Station up to our home, to a reduction of 50% for access to museums as well as for different visits of the city. Shower and toilet are next to the rooms. We provide linen and towels. A small kitchen with microwave, fridge and two hobs is available. In other words 5 min from the bus stop. Arrival from the SBB Basel Station: Take bus N° 30 (slightly on your left when you get out of the station, on the other side of the street, in front of the confectionery Bachmann). Stop at Bernoullianum (4 stops from the station) and Hebelstrasse is on the other side of the large street. 120 m and here you are! (Intersection with Freidensgasse). The house is located 10 minutes from the Market Square. A direct bus will take you to either the Exhibition Centre (6 stops, 6 minutes) or to the Central Station (4 stops, 5 minutes) or to the "German" Station (Badisher Bahnhof, 10 min). Within five minutes you will be at Kannenfeldpark, a wonderful park with old trees and games for children or at the Rhein along which you can enjoy a nice walk. The situation is very quiet and the house is located in St Johann neighbourhood within walking distance from the University Hospital. We speak German, French, English, Spanish, and Swedish and welcome international visitors!

We have been traveling for six months now and Jean's place was an absolute delight. The location is only a short walking distance from the centre, and the room was quiet and clean. We were offered a beautiful breakfast with homemade bread, jams and yoghurt. But the best part of this place is Jean himself. He is a great, thoughtful person full of tips to the area. Strong wifi signal, worm apartment, double bed, jacuzzi shower, quiet location, close to Bus and train station, tea and coffee facilities, fridge, unfortunatly no kitchen. You can use our kitchen if you want to cook !

The conversion of the "Old Barn" put emphasis on respecting its historic natur but also incorporating modern comfort by carfully applying newer architectural standards.

As the architect I enjoy showing my visitors the remnants of the old and how we incorporated this with the new.

Personally, I consider Schopfheim a “suburb” of Basel as I enjoyed living in bigger cities when I was younger. But I also love the rural lifestyle and the mountains due to my upbringing in the Black Forest area. All those who know the Belchen, which is the second highest mountain in the region and approximately 30 minutes drive from Schopfheim, will have to agree with me that this is, undoubtedly, the most beautiful mountain. One of the attractions of the town is the ability to go and get fresh bread rolls from the local baker on a Sunday morning - something my children love to do.

The apartment is overall very nicely and harmoniously furnished. It was also cleaned properly. The apartment can be reached with an elevator as it is also suitable for wheelchair users. This eliminates the annoying carry of the suitcase. The kitchen is well equipped and contains everything you need for cooking. We always got a quick and nice answer from Ulla with questions, which made the stay very pleasant. We would love to come back. Best wishes Sebastian

Hallo :) Ich biete meine Wohnung hier als Airbnb Miete an. Die Wohnung hat ca. 75 Quadratmeter und ist sehr hell mit großen Fenster. Sie ist komplett möbliert und hat einen kleinen Balkon zum Innenhof. Sie ist in einem Altbau und hat an den Decken und Wänden schöne Verzierungen. Die Küche ist vor 2 Jahren frisch renoviert worden. Natürlich können Sie auch hier alles benutzen. Ich selber wohne nicht vor Ort und somit haben Sie die Wohnung ganz für sich alleine.

Das Schlafzimmer hat ein tolles Boxspringbett und einen kleinen Fernseher mit SmartTV. Im Badezimmer ist eine Badewanne mit integrierter Dusche. Zudem können Sie gerne die Waschmaschine und den Trockner benutzen. Die Küche haben wir vor 2 Jahren ganz frisch renoviert mit komplett neuer Küchenzeile und neuem PVC Boden. Küche hat Herd, Ofen, Spülmaschine und Kühlschrank. Teller & Besteck kann ebenfalls genutzt werden. Auch die Gewürze stehen zur offenen Verfügung! :-)

I particularly appreciated the well-heated bathroom, the comfort of the bed and the freedom to go into the kitchen. This is an ideal address for a short stay and very close to Basel. A triregio mini ticket (€ 9.10 in February 2020), taken at the bus stop very close to Hansruedi, leads to the center of Basel in 15 minutes and allows you to use all transport for 24 hours in Basel, Germany and France. Note that to return late, bus 38 does not serve all the stops in Basel and that you should take bus 38 to Claraplatz to return.

Wir bieten hier ein32 qm grosses Studio, in ruhiger Lage, als abgeschlossene Wohneinheit. Wir liegen in einer verkehrsberuhigten und trotzdem zentralen Seitenstrasse von Inzlingen. Unser Dorf bietet alles was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Vor Ort findet man Bäcker, Metzger, Florist, Frisör, Zahnarzt, allgemein Arzt, einen Landmarkt der den täglichen Bedarf an Lebensmittel deckt, sowie eine Bank mit Geldautomat, eine reichhaltige Gastronomie die weithin bekannt ist, rundet das Angebot in unserem Dorf ab. Jedoch wo Sonne ist da ist auch Schatten denn leider ist unsere ÖV Anbindung nicht die Beste, ein PKW wird empfohlen.

Das Haus befindet sich in Weil am Rhein (Dreiländereck Deutschland/Schweiz/Frankreich) in sehr zentraler und trotzdem ruhiger Gegend.

Das Zimmer ist mit W-LAN, TV, Stereoanlage, Wasserkocher, Toaster, Geschirr, Kaffeemaschine incl. Kaffee und Tee, Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, 2-Platten-Induktion-Herd mit Dunstabzug, Microwelle, Dampfgarer mit Grill, 2 Kleiderschränke, Tisch mit Eckbank und Stühlen sowie mit Bett 160x200 (auf 120x200 verkleinerbar) ausgestattet. Sollte das Bett nicht ausreichen kann zusätzlich ein Gästebett gestellt werden. Allerdings wird es dann etwas eng. Die Treppe zum Gästezimmer und Bad ist etwas steiler als normale Treppen. Die Raumhöhe ist niedriger und der Raum selbst ist etwas dunkel da es nur ein kleines Fenster hat und sich im Kellergeschoss befindet. Allerdings ist die Raumbeleuchtung u.a. mit einer Decken-Tageslichtlampe ausgestattet. Das neben dem Zimmer gelegene Bad ist neu renoviert und mit einer Dusche, WC sowie Waschbecken ausgestattet. Handtücher, Fön und Bettwäsche werden kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt. Desweiteren haben wir für unsere Gäste in den warmen Monaten einen Gartensitzplatz eingerichtet. Der Gasgrill im Garten kann nach Absprache mitbenutzt werden. In Absprache und Nutzungsgebühr können Fahrräder und Waschmaschine benutzt werden.

In der Umgebung sind in wenigen Gehminuten Speiselokale, Gaststätten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Frisör, Café's, Bäckereien, Drogerie, Apotheken, Banken usw. zu erreichen. Die Landesgrenze zum Ausflugsziel des schönen Elsaß (Frankreich) ist ca. 2km entfernt. Für Kajakfahrer gibt es in ca. 2,5 km eine Wildwasserkanalanlage die auch eine Kletterwand zu bieten hat. Für weitere Wasserbegeisternde hat Weil am Rhein ein Vergnügungsbad (Laguna-Badeland) und ein Freibad was zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen ist. Radfahrer, Wander- und Naturfreunde finden im Schwarzwald, Frankreich und Schweiz schöne Ausflugsziele. Auch der Europa-Park Rust (Vergnügungspark) ist ein attraktives, beliebtes Ausflugsziel und in einer guten Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar.

We were last weekend in Weil am Rhein at the festival. The accommodation is very centrally located and from there you can easily walk to the bakery, Rewe, butcher, train station and in the evening the festival area. Kurt and Gisela are great hosts and we felt right at home. The accommodation is very clean, lovingly and furnished with many small details. The description of the apartment is exactly the reality. We also enjoyed the stay in the beautiful garden area with palm trees, which you can share. If we are in the area again, we will be happy to come back.

Arielle was an outstanding host. The apartment was within close walking distance to the nearby tram line. This run between basel and Germany so great if you are looking to commute during your stay. There was useful tourist leaflets and maps at the apartment. The use of our own entrance made the apartment private for us. We had a full tour of the apartment and amenities upon arrival. The places was extremely clean with great amenities such as a fridge and coffee maker along with an oven and hob. Arielle and her partner went over and above to host us. They even gave us a bottle of champagne for new years eve and invited us to their new year's eve party. Unfortunately we were going to basel for new years eve otherwise we would have definitely joined them. The location was beautiful and must look even more stunning in the summer. We live on the ground floor and only sharing the main door. For allergy sufferers: We have a cat.

The style is modern with a lot of space to store your goods. The art work is from locale artist.

Maybe the most attractive detail of our direct neighbourhood is a wonderful walnut tree with very aromatic walnuts (only in the season).

I highly recommend staying at Pierre's apartment. It is all equipped with everything you need and very clean and tidy. Good sized room with oriental touch in a single-family home. Private shower, 4 minutes walk to public transport. Very close to the Swiss border, 6km from downtown Basel, close to airport, nice green surroundings. Next to the room is a small with bathroom with a shower. The shower is all yours, the toilet may sometimes also be used by other people.

Our neighbourhood includes a fantastic pool with wellness area (Laguna) and the opportunity for relaxing along the river Wiese. Shops are about 10-15 minutes walking distance.

In the apartment there are living two people. Roland comes from Bavaria and is a food technologist at the DSM and I am a medical masseur in a therapy center in Basel. There is a very relaxed and harmonious atmosphere here. The apartment is always clean and it has everything you need. Behind the back there is a garden that will be used by us in summer:) ... with hammock and BBQ.

The couch is fold out and can be used as a bed. So far, there has always been positive feedback for convenience. The room is spacious and has big windows. It has a lot of interesting books to choose from. Sockets are everywhere in the room.

The area itself is beautiful. It has mountains with views of Basel in the entire valley. The Rhine is not far away. Along the shore is a protected nature area where you can go jogging or just take a walk. You can also bathe at the fireplace and monkey swing. The neighbors are all nice people. Many families live here. In the house live on the top floor young people and on the middle floor a young family with a child.

For shear level of relaxation and feelings of being welcome, you cannot do much better. Manuel is a true “Renaissance “ man with a winning way and shares his enthusiasm of all things with his guests. He has a unique place, spacious and a short walk to groceries, outstanding bakery, and good eats. Still only a hop into the city of 7 minutes by train. I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 nights.

I had a great stay. The appartment is located right at the train station which makes getting around a breeze. The room is quite spacious and comfy. Manu and his room mate are really cool guys and we had a great time at dinner. Absolutely recommended!

The house is well-located in the city, close to the Exhibition Center, with easy access to public transportation (in front of the house) and a 10-15 minute walk to the old center. It is a big house with P+2floors designed for 6 people (+ Emilie, the cat). The room is on the upper floor where you will have a fully-equiped bathroom (with shower) for yourself. You can use the common areas of the house and relax in the garden listening to the birds.

My favourite place around is the Lange Erlen, a big park with a river and place to relax in the sun, surrounded by a forest. It is a great place if you like to go for a run also. The Rhein is 10min walk away, where you can relax in the sun, enjoy a local refreshment and go for a swim on the river (one of Basel's main attractions in summer).
