  • We had a great time staying at Ed's place. The communication was great and we had all the information we needed. The check-in was easy and the room was clean. Thanks, Ed! :)

  • Very nice and put together. Everything was easy and made for a nice stay 👍

  • Great place, great guidance.

    Toan2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Really clean room and clear instructions on how to get to the room and places nearby. There are bus and tram stops just feel meters away. If you are up to walking you can get to the city centre with no problems.

    Camila2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We have not seen Ed personally, although the service has been excellent, he has always been available to us, always taking care of privacy. The room is clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom. In the room we found everything we needed, even to be able to eat / drink something hot. Ed's apartments are a guarantee! Recommended for everyone!

    Fabrizio2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Nice and tidy place.

    Filipe2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • There are different kinds of hosts on airbnb. Some are bachelors share what they got with you, if you and/or him don’t mind, you can even wash your dirty socks and underwear in the same washing machine. But you certainly won’t get no hairdryer for your wife at theirs’. A second type is like at the granny’s, the lady, may be old or young, may cook you breakfast. A third type is like what Ed provides, like a pro, give you what you can expect from a decent hotel, dressing table, hair dryer for the lady, a selection of different tea, coffee, etc. Even more with a microwave, dining tools and mouth wash, except paying less. But you don’t find oven like previous two types in Ed’s, I’m totally fine with it. And Ed communicates well, giving long and specific directions on commute, local food and drink. Ed do provide a laundry basket with the provider’s name, contact and price printed on it that him forgot to mention though. Be aware to read the kind notices Ed stuck on the doors if you are not 6 feet tall, I’m 5’11” and I overlooked them. Some more advises, Ed’s apartment is located at the edge of Lansdowne Valley Park, there is a little quiet stream running by, must be a scene in summer. Along the nearby RED LUAS (Dublin tram system) there is also a river. From Blackhorse to Suir Road LUAS stop there will be swans around the river in winter. They look even more elegant when they are asleep before 7AM, with their head hiding under the wing. Just like white cotton balls floating on the river. To the west is the industrial district, lots and lots of different motor companies, and Bikeworld, the largest motorcycle shop in Dublin, is just under one mile. Surprisingly, the Coffee Studio is run by two Asians, Taiwanese, Teochewese, Fukienese, or maybe from other parts of south Mainland China, providing good western food for breakfast or brunch. My wife is a rice feeding Hakka girl, she usually don’t agree with western pastries but find their food fulfilling. The Halfway House is an old school western restaurant and pub, nothing more or less, good place for a dinner or Guinness. I don’t recommend Asian foods in the city, if you are an Asian. Most if not all of them are modified, not original. I’d rather eat Russian fish & Chips at Beshoff's.

    Kan2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • As expected, Ed's apartment was very good. Check in was easy and well described. The location is a bit outside of the city center, but you can get to the city relatively quickly and easily by tram. All in all a great apartment with a great price-performance ratio.

  • Lovely and cozy place it was perfect for us as a young couple. The place had everything we needed and more! Ruth was amazingly helpful with recommendations and always quick personal replies. It was a fab location not too far from the centre and the transport was easy to use. Thanks to Ruth for making our trip to Dublin even better we have already discussed a second visit:)

  • Everything was great, super comfortable, perfect for couples!

    Daniel2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was very nice. Ruth responded on messages any time in few moments. Nice locality close to city center (aprox 12min by walk) and phoneix park (8min by walk). Also there is bus station aprox. 100meter from the apartment. Very cozy place to stay. Thank you David

    David2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • This studio is perfect for a few days trip, it’s very cozy but not too cramped. It’s not too far from Dublin and all of the sights to see, and I personally liked not staying somewhere right in the middle of the city. It was the perfect place, even had its own private little yard and entrance!

    Sydney2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • She was so helpful and the place was great. I defiantly recommend staying with Ruth.

    Mary2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend Ruth’s place. It is clean, it has anything you need in terms of equipment. It is the best home far from home that I have ever been on Air Bnb. And Ruth is very lovely and helpful. I will definitely come back to Ireland and if I come back to Dublin I will definitely stay at Ruth’s place.

Hi there! I have a cosy bedroom in a bright house here in a nice neighborhood in Inchicore. Myself Milena used to work as musician in Brazil, I'm brazilian living here in Dublin since 2014 and would love to meet some new people from around the world.
The house is a semi-detached two story building with two toilets and a shower, cosy sitting room and kitchen. Big Double bed available for 2 people, but we also have a single mattress underneath which can be pulled out if you are couple travelling with a child/ party of 3. ( *small additional rates apply for third person) My cat lives in the sitting room but really she is more like a piece of the furniture, lazy thing! There is a large tv in the sitting room with and Cable TV, should you feel like chilling out by the fire with a movie. High speed fibre-optic broadband.
The neighbourhood is very nice and peaceful. local amenities like shops, bakery and laundry are just around the corner. the luas stop which services all of Dublin a 30 second walk away, just a quick walk over the canal and usually is going every 5 minutes. The canal is very beautiful if you want to go for a nice walk right beside the house. if you would like to get more into nature within the city you are only a twenty minute walk away from Phoenix park. the bus stop 123 is less than a minute walk from here and goes directly to Temple bar and the city centre, also goes every 10 minutes. this area is full of great attractions such as the Kilmainham Goal (jail), Irish museum of modern art and the Guinness storehouse.
  • Very convenient location for accessing red luas line. Comfortable, cosy and great value!

    Maura2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Milena was very friendly and the place was very clean. A few touches that stood out to us were the chips and water by the bed and the instructions on how to use the shower. We enjoyed our stay!

    David2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at Milena. The room she rents out is cozy. The house is very clean. The location is ideal. It is a quiet area and public transport is easy to reach.

Just around the corner is Markaveigh Park and a block away are shops that include the post office and Bank.
The 79 bus takes you to down town Dublin where you can spend the afternoon shopping and sight seeing.
Full Stop Cafe is on the main Ballyfermot road where the bus arrives outside for the city centre.
  • The experience has been unbeatable. The angitriona is waiting for all the details, look at the bus schedules if you need it. He received us with a tea and some pastries. I repeat awesome. He cared for us throughout the stay, and even when we went to the airport. Very highly recommended.

  • Nice place and nice host.

    Sachin2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed with Audrey for two weeks and can not thank this lady enough for her warm hospitality, and friendly wit, starting with a cuppa and orange jam toast upon arrival and great chats throughout! She was always available to answers questions and went even beyond merely helping an Airbnb guest out when concerns were raised. (I got a machine knitting lesson, how awesome is this please??? - And I will be forever grateful!!!!).

Comfortable room in pretty mid terraced house in the heart of the CIE works in Inchicore. CIE estate is quiet and friendly offering green spaces and plenty of bird song. Room is to the rear of the property and is clean and comfortable with ample storage and directly next to the shared bathroom. The kitchen is available for use for breakfast, for storing food (fridge space) and for preparing lunches. Back garden also available to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine (should the Irish weather be kind)
We share our home with two friendly cats. Basic breakfast items will be made available including Nespresso coffee maker for that important first cup.
Inchicore village is well served with bus connection to the city centre and a 7 minute walk to the nearest Luas/tram stop, both getting you to the city in roughly 15/20 minutes. You can walk to the Guinness Store house in 30 minutes. The village also has shops for groceries, off licences and coffee shops. There are 2 pubs and most importantly we are a 5 minute walk from Rascals Brewery where you can enjoy high quality craft beers (brewed on site) and excellent pizzas!

  • Living in John's house for a week has been lovely! I had the opportunity to relax in the best way: I've jogged at the Park close to the house and bought all my food at the Tesco superstore which is really nearby. Besides John and all his family has been really friendly and they gave me all the information I needed. I've used the kitchen and the washing machine and I was really satisfied. Also having a chat with John from time to time has been a good way to spend my time in Dublin! I really suggest his house! Thanks, John!

New first floor bunk room, 5 mins walk to Temple Bar, Trinity college & close to all tourist attractions & O'Connell st just 20 min walk. Featuring keyless, digital entry, & self-check in, high-speed wifi & TV, the apartment has all you need to explore from & cook, shower & sleep comfortably in. With a cosy living space to relax in, this suits people who travel light and want to be close to the action without breaking the budget. Great value and super central location.
Paper towels are not provided - this is a choice for the environment and the future. We do not supply face cloths, sorry - our linen company does not stock them. This space consists of a bunk room with own front door access. When you walk in the lobby of the building, apartment is up 1 flight of stairs. In the apartment you have the Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom..
The house is in the Liberties which is one of Dublin’s oldest and most fascinating areas which is a short walking distance to many historical attractions such as Christchurch Cathedral, Teelings Whiskey Distillery, Jameson Distillery, Guinness Storehouse, St. Patrick's Cathedral and Kilmainham Gaol. There are also many café’s, restaurants and bars around the area as well as the house being located just off Francis Street which is known as Dublin’s main Antique street. Meath Street is at the other end of my street which is home to the famous Liberty Market (Thursday-Saturday) and many shops and eateries. There is also a flea market which takes place in Newmarket Square on the last Sunday of every month and this would take approximately 5 minutes to reach by foot. This area is very popular with tourists considering its history and how centrally located it is, it really is a perfect location if you are looking to visit and experience all of what this great city has to offer.
  • Patrick’s flat was a great place to stay for a solo traveler! I was able to drop my luggage off early, and he responded to all of my questions quickly. The location is great for feeling like a local, but everything was still walkable. Would absolutely stay here again.

    Charlotte2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Patrick was amazing ! The place was very clean with a good use of space. I would give Patrick an A++ on communication. He kept me updated on anything going on in the building and was very thorough. Great list of things to do in the city. Location is perfect walking distance from anything you want to do in the city. I would definitely use Patrick if I ever visit Dublin again !

Based in South Central Dublin, beside the Ashleaf Shopping Center and the Crumlin Village. Within walking distance of Ben Dunne Gym. There are two bus routes which both go directly into the city center. The number 9 and the number 150, both buses are very regular. Parking for up to three cars available.
Semi-Detached, three bedroom house with garden. Two full time hosts currently living there.
Beside the Ashleaf Shopping Center and two minute walk to the Crumlin Village. Two minute walk to the Hungry Duck which according to Lovin Dublin is the "Best brunch in Dublin" and The Irish Times "A culinary oasis".
  • We highly recommend this place! It’s close to the city centre. Marie and her son James were extremely friendly and gave us a warm welcome into their home. My wife Wilma and I stayed 7 days and we loved it. Everything is very clean: room, toilet, shower,… Room: 1.40 cm bed, 2 pillows per person. Large cupboard with hangers: at the top a shelf for laying your clothes/things and the rest is for hanging. You can regulate the temperature with the electric heater. Nice thick carpet. Shelf on wall to put things up. There are thick curtains which do a great job of keeping the light and cold out. There's a kettle, two cups and supplies so you can make tea, coffee, decaf and hot chocolate. Bathroom: Pratical and roomy. There is shampoo you may use. Choice of rain shower or detachable shower head. Temperature is easy to regulate. After every shower we got new towels. And they are nice big. Busstops are very close. Good wifi Good rule to put shoes down by the stairs 😉 Summary: highly recommended!!!

Come relax at Woodside, a charming 1920's workers house, which was recently completely renovated by me, Rae. We boast many modern amenities such as central heating, a power shower, in-room USB chargers, excellent WiFi and other essentials like Netflix for those rainy days.. Located just 2.3 miles (3.7 km) or 10-15 minutes by bus from the heart of Dublin City, we’re situated in the quiet Crumlin neighborhood. A short walk to Drimnagh Castle, Guinness Storehouse or St. Patrick's Cathedral . .
Hi there, welcome to Woodside. I have been renovating my home in Crumlin for the past few years. It is finished now. As you can see from the photos, I have sympathetically restored Woodside to its former glory. I have strived to marry my own style into this very eclectic, comfortable home. I have made the guest room a comfy and cozy space for you to come and enjoy your stay in Dublin. Oozing with old world charm, the guest room offers a relaxing ambience for your stay. My home is filled with a selection of Artisan pieces hand wrought by myself. There are a number of pieces on display in the garden available for purchase (please see photo) The garden has been a labour of love and I recently built a raised bed which is flourishing with salad leaves, herbs and more. Guests are welcome to help themselves. As someone who loves all things vintage I have a small, but growing collection of vintage coffee makers. My big passion in life is building customised vintage motorcycles. Guests are welcome to visit my workshop, at the bottom of the garden to find out more about my ever growing collection of motorbikes and vintage cars. There are cctv cameras to the front and rear of property for added security . .
I love the peace and quiet of where I live, yet we have lots of local amenities nearby, including several pubs, post office, pharmacy, supermarket, grocery store, fruit and veg shop, take-aways and cafes..
  • Rae is a very nice and will show great hospitality. Loved the Italian shower and great tips for people who come to visit the city and the surrounding countryside

    Constantinos2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Really loved this place. So beautiful and Rae really is so kind and helpful. His home was so eclectic and well decorated and clean. It was a bit farther out than I expected ONLY because I usually walk everywhere. BUT Rae helped us understand the bus and it was a super quick bus ride into town. So so happy we chose to stay with Rae!

    Sabrina2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • The house is sparkling clean and quaint. Rae is a great host. Be sure to take a little time at breakfast to chat, he makes great conversation and will give you some local tips on seeing Dublin. Downtown is an easy walk or bus ride away. We would defiantly stay here again. Bill- Eliza....USA

Great position overlooking the Liffey. 20-25 mins walk to Temple Bar. Keyless, digital 24/7 check in, chic living room with a great balcony for enjoying the views + full kitchen. A double bed & sofa bed offers comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4. Close to most attractions & cool for when you just want to chill out.
Paper towels are not provided - this is a choice for the environment and the future. We do not supply face cloths, sorry - our linen company does not stock them. Featuring modern bathroom and kitchen, with the benefits of an electric, instant shower and all you need to cook, including kettle, toaster, hob, microwave, fridge and pots, pans and trays. Like all of our apartments, this has all a traveller needs to 'live like a local' and see the sights, without having to take public transport everywhere, or to hire a car. The apartment is on the First floor, but there is no lift available..
Great neighbourhood close to Stonybatter, Guinness Storehouse and Phoenix park. Dublin has always been renowned for its restaurants and cafes and the early part of the Eighteenth century was no exception. On the eastern side of Essex Bridge, in the vicinity of the Custom House a coffee- house called the Cocoa Tree was located. In the recess between the bridge and the Custom House there was a ‘chop house’, known as “Old Sot’s Hole”. This establishment had the reputation of having the best steaks and ale in Dublin. The owner of this chop house was a Mr. Thretford. His golden rule was he never gave any credit to anyone, even the very wealthy. He died in 1742. The chop house still flourished. At a meeting held there in 1757, it was decided that the passage leading from the bridge to Essex Street was too narrow and after discussion, money was given to a Mr Bristow, a Commissioner of the Revenue, for the widening of this passage. Subsequently, a Bill was passed that all the narrow alleys in the City of Dublin, were to be widened. Houses had to be demolished for this work to proceed and certain room keepers and lodgers felt that they should have been given at least six months notice of this fact. Fourteen Bills of Injunction were filed and the authorities decided to react. The roofs of the houses of those who had filed the injunctions were removed in the middle of the night. Panic ensued and people ran into the streets, not knowing what had happened. In 1762, Parliament granted £12,000 for the purchase of all houses, preventing the street widening, from their owners. The street widening was carried out and the new street was called Parliament Street. In 1763, the Corporation of Weavers and other dealers in silk submitted a petition Parliament informing them that there were only fifty silk looms working, where previously there had been eight hundred looms, and asking them for assistance. The Parliament made grants available, to establish a public warehouse, where silken goods, manufactured in Ireland only, would be sold. A house was found for this purpose in Parliament Street and would be used by the wholesale and retail trade. This building was called the Hibernian Silk Warehouse and was officially opened in February 1765. All the wealthy and fashionable ladies flocked there to buy their produce and the silk trade in Dublin received a great boost as a result. The main traders in Parliament Street at this time were wool and textile merchants. A General Thomas Russell, who was banished to the Continent as a result of his support of the United Irishmen, returned to Ireland in the early 1800’s. He was arrested on the 9th September 1803, on the second floor of number 28, Parliament Street. £1,500 had been offered for his capture. He was tried at Downpatrick and executed on the 2nd October 1803. The merchants of Dublin presented a petition to Parliament for a section of land to build an Exchange. This building was to be a meeting place for merchants and traders. This petition was granted and the foundation stone of the Exchange was laid on the 2nd August 1769. The completion of this building took ten years and was finally opened in 1779. Rather than being used by the merchants, the Exchange became a place where public and political meetings were held. During 1798 it was converted into a military depot and court martials were held there. On the 13th of January 1800, Daniel O’Connell made his first public speech against the union with Britain, there. People who were deemed to be part of the revolutionary movement were punished in the Exchange. The public came to view these punishments being doled out. In 1814, a crowd had assembled in the Exchange for the whipping of a culprit. The balustrade in front gave way, nine people were killed and many were badly injured. In September 1852 the Exchange changed its purpose for the final time; it was inaugurated as the City Hall of the Corporation of Dublin.

  • On arrival of the apartment we noticed a leak in the bedroom, Nigel responded immediately to get the issue resolved by sending out a maintenance person. Unfortunately the issue wasn’t a quick fix and we was unable to stay in the apartment. Nigel and his team were absolutely amazing when resolving the issue and immediately found us another air b and b to stay in which was brilliant. genuinely could not fault anything with the apartment or the service, would 100% stay again! thanks Nigel!

  • We stayed at Nigel's, liffey views and we loved it. The pack the team sends over before your visit is excellent and really useful, especially to make the most out of a short stay. We used the pack in the air bnb as well and really enjoyed some of the recommendations Nigel and the team had made. We knew the air bnb looked nice but it was even quirkier and stylish than we had thought in a fabulous location! Check in was super easy using the lock box too. There was a small mishap in the air bnb beyond Nigel and the teams control, but they communicated excellently and went above and beyond to rememdy it, i couldntve asked for better hosts or a better stay!!

My place is close to 4 Bike-rental stations, Luas Red Line Museum stop and Heuston Station stop, many bus routes, easy walk or tram ride to Temple Bar and Downtown, National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts and History, Phoenix Park and Zoo, Guinness Brewery, Cobblestone Pub, Light House Cinema, The Church, The Black Sheep. You’ll love my place because of the central location and multiple connections. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
Warm and cosy. In room kettle, tea and coffee.
The Phoenix Park is 10 minutes away. It is huge with many points of interest including Dublin Zoo, Aras an Uachtarain - President's residence, flower gardens and sports facilities, and a huge amount of open space. James Joyce fans may want to visit Anna Livia Plurabelle who lies recumbent in a small park at the bottom of our street, next to the River Liffey. Also nearby is the actual house in which the events of 'The Dead' are set. Across the river is Guinness' Brewery with the Storehouse at the top of the hill. Two commercial streets nearby - Parkgate St. (preferable) & Stoneybatter. Both offer many pub choices (Ryan's of Parkgate St. the best in my opinion), lots of restaurant and take-out options, two big convenience stores - 24 hour on Stoneybatter. Do not forget the National Museum, five minutes down the road, containing many floors of historic artefacts. Completely free of charge. The National Museum downtown, though, is where you see the gaelic gold and the bog bodies dug up from 2000 to 4000 years ago.

This spacious & comfortable room has new carpets and bed which gives it a warm and relaxing feeling! It comfortably fits one & is located a mere 15 mins from Dublin's City Centre by bus or tram. Cottage is close to The Guinness Storehouse, Kilmainham Gaol & Phoenix Park, the largest inner city park in Europe. We are not in the centre of the city but we are only 35 minute walk along the Grand Canal.
The room is equipped with a single bed and a wardrobe. The room is ideal for a business trip or a visiting trip. The WiFi is good and you will have access to it once you have checked in. Fresh towels are provided as are essentials like toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The neighbourhood is friendly and close to shops, restaurants, cafe and pubs. The cottage is situated on the Red Luas line less than 5 minutes walk to Rialto stop which will take you to city centre in less than 20 minutes. Taxi's are around 25 euro from the airport to our house, but make sure the taxi goes through the city. There is also an aircoach to O'Connell street and from there you can take the Luas (Tram). Or the Airport Express to Heuston Train Station where you can take the Luas to Rialto. Make sure the Luas is going towards Tallaght or Saggart and get off at Rialto. It is a 5 minute walk to our home. There is visitor parking out the front of the cottage or on the street which is free of charge. Several buses service the area. I have a small Frenchie dog who is very friendly. He never goes in to the room and he is kept in the living space . A small outdoor space is available. I am forward to welcoming you in to the cottage home and hope that you have an enjoyable stay.

My charming and quaint terraced house is located just 15-20 minutes from Dublin City Centre by bus. Its within walking distance of Kilmainham Gaol, The War Memorial Park, The Phoenix Park and the Irish Museum of Modern Art. The perfect base for any visitors
Céad míle fáilte. Welcome to my home. Its a Victorian red brick 2 bedroom terraced house. As the title suggests, its not a very large house but it sure is home. My guest room is a sunny south facing room with hardwood floor, comfy single bed and the perfect spot to rest your head after a day of exploring in Dublin To get to my house from the airport you need to take a bus to the city centre. Either the Aircoach or 747 (Run by Dublin Bus) will take you straight in in about 20mins and costs €6 one way. Then you need to get a 79, 79A or 40 bus to my house. They run regularly from the city centre to my house and the cost is €2.85 (coins only). Or you can get a taxi straight from the airport for about €20-€25 If you’re staying for a few days I recommend getting a Leap Card for public transport which can be bought in newsagents and makes public transport cheaper
The neighbourhood I live in is a fantastic contradiction. It has the benefit of being just a 15 minute bus ride into the bustling and vibrant heart of Dublin but still remains a very quiet and settled little street. At the end of the street is a large park and GAA (our native sport) club. And in less than 10 minutes you can be in the War Memorial Park right on the banks of the Liffey

Cosy and private room with small tv and free WiFi . City centre (heart of Dublin) is 20/15min by bus. House is 1 min walking to the bus stop. Convenience shops such as SPAR and takeaways all near. . In the house lives 3 - 2 adults and a child.
The house is locate in Ballyfermot which is one of the oldest neighbourhood in Dublin. Ballyfermot is in a good location, 15 minutes from the city centre and close to the main motorway M50. It has shops, pubs and is well served with public transport.
  • Everything absolutely great. Location very good. The hostess very nice and we felt very good there.

    Jana2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Gisele and her husband were very welcoming and attentive. The room is quite spacious, the bed is a click-clack but it passes for a few days. The bus stop is right next to the house and it takes 15 min to reach the city center. We had a good time with them.

    Sonia2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Gisele and her family have been really kind with us, we spent 4 beautiful days in Dublin, their home is really close to the bus stop, there are about 20 minutes to Temple bar. We slept comfortable and the house was very clean. We recommend to stay here!

  • Friendly, respectful and confortable hosting.

    Samantha2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable and warm room despite the fact of a space a little noisy from the proximity of the room with the street. Tip: closed the bathroom window in winter .. there are big spiders in Ireland. Other than that the hosts, especially the husband are very polite, helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very good . The pizzeria located a minute walk is delicious. Many super markets are available nearby. To conclude I recommend this accommodation

New first floor unit, 5 mins walk to Temple Bar, Trinity college & close to all tourist attractions & O'Connell st just 20 min walk. Featuring keyless, digital entry & self-check in, high-speed wifi & TV, it has all you need to explore from & cook, shower & sleep comfortably in. The cosy living space has a small sofa bed for 1 person. This flat suits up to 3 people who travel light and want to be close to the action without breaking the budget. Great value and super central location.
PLEASE NOTE - the bathroom is only accessible via the bedroom. Please consider this when booking for guests intending to use the sofa bed in the living room. When booking for groups of 3, this apartment is more suited to people who won't be bothered by the compact size of the apartment, or the bathroom access issues. Paper towels are not provided - this is a choice for the environment and the future. We do not supply face cloths, sorry - our linen company does not stock them. The space consists of a one-bed apt with own front door access. When you walk in the lobby of the building, it is up one flight of stairs on the first floor (no lift, sorry). In the apartment you have the Living Room With Small Sofa Bed, Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom...
Due to it's most central location, this neighborhood is always popular with travellers, international students and locals. Whilst well within walking distance of most attractions, the area is generally more suited to younger travellers or people who are comfortable in diverse, city crowds, populated by people of all classes and creeds. Being so close to Temple Bar, Heuston Sation and many working class pubs, you may see some quite intoxicated locals, but they really are just on their own journey and keep to themselves. Some guests have reported feeling unsafe at night because of this, yet to this day, we have hosted over 1500 travellers without a single report of harm or confrontation ever occurring. This can be validated by checking the many other Airbnb's closeby. The house is in the Liberties which is one of Dublin’s oldest and most fascinating areas which is a short walking distance to many historical attractions such as Christchurch Cathedral, Teelings Whiskey Distillery, Jameson Distillery, Guinness Storehouse, St. Patricks Cathedral and Kilmainham Gaol. There are also many café’s, restaurants and bars around the area, which is home to the famous Liberty Market (Thursday-Saturday) and many shops and eateries.
  • Patrick was a fantastic host, and the place is right in the heart of Dublin market place. Saved us car rental cost as everything is within walking distance. I'd get in touch with Patrick again if traveling to Dublin in the future.

    Viraj2020-03-04T00:00:00Z

  • This apartment was perfect for my wife and I. The location was great and only 15 minutes walk from Temple Bar area. The Guinness Factory was less than 5 minutes away. Great apartment which made it a lovely stay for us and the bed is extremely comfortable!

  • It was very nice to stay at Patrick's place. He made sure that I got there fine, gave really useful tips and the place was in a superb condition.

  • Very clean and great location! walking distance to just about everything to do in Dublin.

    Sydney2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • A great stay in Dublin! Very close to the Guinness Factory tour. About 10-15 to Temple bar area as well. If you are looking to go out in Temple during your stay it is a bit of a hike, but a nice walk! Also, a lot of bars/ restaurants 1-2 minute walk from the apartment (if you are Temple Bar-ed out). A few cab drivers warned us to be more careful in this area, but we felt very safe and secure. The shower is small so if you are a tall person, it might be difficult for you to fit! The interior is very lovely. Patrick was an amazing host and was super easy to connect with/ answer questions. Would totally stay again!!

    Molly 2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • 100% recommended, the apartment is beautiful, functional, very clean and in a very good location. Patrick is a charm and takes care of every detail, his guide of recommendations, which also includes the instructions to use it all, is super useful.

  • Ann Marie was really friendly and welcoming. They immediately made me feel comfortable and at home, respecting one's own privacy too. The room was quiet and peaceful, and the private bathroom was really nice to have as well. When I asked for directions and places to eat in town, they were extremely helpful! It was such a pleasant short stay in Dublin. Will be booking again!

  • What can I say. This was by far and away the best Air b n b stay I’ve ever had. Anne Marie and Amrit are amazing, so friendly, warm and welcoming. I feel like I made true friends staying there and we got on like a house on fire. They made me feel so comfortable and welcome. Even offering for me to join them for dinner on the first night. I highly recommend staying with Anne Marie and Armit in Dublin. All the stars!

We were gifted a bus pass which was sweet and allowed us to instantly become regular bus riders. A charming pub with nightly music is right around the corner.

42 St Laurences Road is named "Gladwr" or Riverview, overlooking the Liffey in picturesque Dublin neighbourhood of Chapelizod. The village is right beside the Phoenix Park, which is the largest walled city park in Europe and home to a vast clan of wild Deer. This super location is quiet and peaceful yet only a 15 minute bus ride or short cycle to the city centre.
An eclectic home with high ceilings and beautiful classic features, its a mix of traditional and contemporary design, with a cosy fire place living room and a large bright kitchen. The village itself has a gorgeous intimate feel, steeped in history, once the dwelling place of James Joyce it’s an interesting place to potter around in. The lovely local pub, “The Villager” is a friendly spot with a cocktail bar located on the first floor. Poppy and I live here, its a spacious house which lends itself to ease and rest. I’m very happy to help you navigate Dublin city according to your interests or to give you space to relax as you wish. Im an artist and Dublin has a small but vibrant art scene which is fun to explore. Poppy will greet you with a wagging tail.
  • Debbie’s house is gorgeous - stylish yet comfortable and set just far enough out of the city to afford some peace but close enough so that you can get in and out of town with ease. Debbie is a warm and hospitable host, full of great recommendations and the breakfast spread she puts on is superb! Would highly recommend.

    Kate2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Debbie was a fantastic host, very kind and welcoming. She made us feel at home, prepared lovely breakfast with nice coffee, fresh bread and lovely selection of food to choose from. Her artistic house is very inspiring and brilliantly positioned, a short walk to Phoenix Park and very easy bus ride to city centre (very frequent and multiple lines - keep your 3 eur change for tickets and you won’t need taxis to get around). Staying with Debbie in her amazing house made our time in Dublin extra special. Thank you!

GREAT LOCATION 15 MINS FROM IMMA AND MOMORIAL GARDENS, KILMAINHAM JAIL .25 MINUTE WALK FROM FROM THE PHEONIX PARK.. LUAS EVERY 4 MINUTES TO GUINESSES BREWERY. The decor is relaxed and open with lots of art and a wood burning stove. New velux window feature in a lovely bright extension with a sun trap to rear with iron garden furniture. There are herbs and Mediterranean plants and ferns. There's even a sofa to chill out on in the garden. The bedrooms have original fireplaces. These red brick houses date from 1900 and were built for the railway workers and are overlooking a green with a play ground. This is old traditional Dublin at it's best. FREE PARKING.
A local pub called " the hide away" is just off the green. Blackhorse luas around the corner and the 40 & 13 Bus service the area.
    Nice village pub and restaurant.
  • A cute cosy little home in a really handy location to explore and enjoy Dublin city.

  • Very pleasant stay, no complications, not in the center but very quiet und perfectly reachable by bus or Luas, takes only 20 minutes to Trinity College. Three supermarkets (Londis, Tesco and Eurospar) are in near distance (only 5 to 10 minutes walk). Grand canal and nice park to work out just a few minutes walk to Luas stop Blackhorse. Tara and Catherine were nice hosts and easy to communicate with. Value for money.

    Marion2018-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Catherine's place was a lovely house in Inchicore, in a quiet and family area with a lovely park. Close to the city center and other facilities. We could feel Catherine is an art lover because the place was filled with artistic touches, music, art books, my little brother had a miyazaki night thanks to the DVDs available in the place. We also listened to many of the CD after a long day of walking in the city. We are really happy about our time there and renting Catherine's place was an addition to the fun we had in Dublin !
