  • The apartment was stylish and the bed comfy. It was on the third floor, as has been noted, so be prepared for hauling as there is no lift. The room was a bit stuffy when we arrived, and unfortunately, the windows were limited for offering fresh air. Additionally, there was not a lot of natural light (one of the windows contained an AC unit) but the lighting throughout the space was quite good (which I appreciate). There is no outdoor living area, private or common (just FYI) so if that's something you love, well, be aware. The neighborhood was gorgeous and the folks were incredibly friendly. We did a ton of walking, averaging 8 miles a day-- so bring your walking shoes. One note, if you are an environmentally sensitive person, I'm not sure I would recommend this place as there is quite a bit of ambient noise. The bathroom fan is dastardly loud, and the AC unit is also quite loud. Additionally, the walls were paper thin, and we could hear quite a bit of our neighbors late return (4 am) on Christmas. Thankfully, it seemed as though the entire floor was vacated for most of the holiday, so I am thankful it wasn't as loud as it could have been. The shower was very hot, pressure was good, but know there is no bath- and I think a shower chair would have been cool (it is the beach after all). There was plenty of space for luggage, and obviously I am thankful for the pet friendly accommodations. The apt was thoughtfully stocked; I was happy there was coffee (not great coffee, but it was fine) with a lil cream and sugar (I had to stock it myself since we stayed for multiple nights), the towels were very soft and plentiful, and finally, there were a lot of streaming options for the TV (yay!). Also, we had a problem with wifi, but I got a response as soon as I messaged with a wifi network to use, so I appreciated the quick resolution. Finally, I really wished we'd brought our bikes. It was a great biking town, and popular, as the rideshare was often sold out (and it was a subscription service, not a pay as you go thing)-- but upon reflection, there were few options for storage of bikes if we had brought them. So, that's something to be aware of. Also, you should bring your own blanket for chilling in the park (we saw dolphins!)-- as there are no additional ones available in the room.

  • This is an awesome place! Matt was very easy to get ahold of and check in/out instructions were very clear. The apartment was walkable to everywhere I needed to be. (Speaking as a New Yorker--your mileage may vary.) Really enjoyed morning runs in the park and strolls to get Pub subs. Would love to come back here if I'm ever in the area!

  • This apartment was clean with a comfortable bed and a nice kitchen to prepare a light meal in. Loved being able to walk across to the Hollander cafe or a few blocks up to the historic uptown Flatbread and Butter for breakfast. We walked to a bike rental shop at 1115 4th St North, rented bikes and rode through The Historic Northeast area to St. Pete’s waterfront trail along the Gulf-beautiful. The Arts district and St Pete’s Shuffleboard club are nearby also. It was convenient having a parking pass provided for our stay, and we used spots right in front of the apartment. Matt has clearly stated house rules too

  • Steve's place is perfect for a visit to St. Pete. Leave your car at home, you can walk or Uber anywhere. Nice comfy bed. I like the pillows so much I found the tag to buy some myself. The space was very clean upon arrival. All utensils, pots, pans provided. Towels are the white fluffy kind you find in a nice Hotel. I saw in the laundry room ($2.00 wash & dry) a bundle delivered from a laundry service so no worry about cleanliness. The building is older but very nicely remodeled. There's several studios in the building but it was very quiet the whole time I stayed. Hey Steve, I'll be back!

In addition, he was truly wonderful to work with and quick to respond to all requests. When we needed to make a last minute adjustment to our stay, he accommodated us and was a true gentlemen the entire time. We highly recommend any property in which Matt is a host.

  • My wife and I took our annual trip to St Pete/Tampa and had a great stay at Matt’s AirB&B. Pros - Great location that is close (15 min walk) to all the restaurants and waterfront. - Very clean and stylish - Matt is very responsive. My wife left her iPhone charger when we checked out and he was kind and shipped it back to us. Cons - parking late at night may be difficult to find even-though we managed to park a block away every night. - occasional noise from residents from apartment above due to thin walls. - no toiletries provided so be prepared and bring your own.

My bungalow style home is nestled in the heart of the center of downtown St. Petersburg, Florida! I am located an easy walk (.8 miles) to an amazing variety of dining, arts/entertainment and nightlife! The beach, parks and walking trails are an even shorter distance! Parking along Historic Old Northeast's 1st street in the front of my home is easy, as you will be given a pass to park. There is transportation access to city trolleys, public bus and even a horse drawn carriage!
This lovely room tucks you in for the night with a variety of eclectic beer signs and even an American antique wine press! The twin bed is complete with a Columbian cooling pad which will keep you comfortable in the warm Florida climate. This comfy room comes complete with a T.V. and WiFi. There are two entrances to this room! One allows you to enter off the living room, while the other gives you access to the mud room, bathroom and kitchen.
My home is nestled in the heart of Old Northeast neighborhood, which is a historic district. There are a variety of eclectic styles homes, some over 100 years old! The people are also a healthy bunch and can often be found walking, running and riding around the neighborhood. The ease of access to the beach allows for a variety of water sports including beach volleyball courts. Lying about in hammock is a big deal here, so I have three hammocks for you to enjoy!

  • Wonderful, magical stay. Gina Marie was the perfect host. The most comfortable I’ve been staying where so much of the space was shared. The home layout is perfect for sharing space without feeling you are intruding on anyone. Great tips and introductions to local businesses and restaurants. Location, location, location. I fell in love with the neighborhood. If I could, I would stay there for months. Bonus: I was there for the holidays and met her lovely family( very welcoming) Highly recommended!!!!

  • Mary’s place is very beautiful and clean . It’s so easy to take an uber , moreover , it’s not very far to downtown . There’s a nice restaurant at 7 minutes called fresco’s. The restaurant is near water . Moreover , you can get a boat tour . I enjoyed spending my spring break to her place .

Our house is on an island five minutes by car from Beach Drive, Downtown, The Dali Museum, restaurants and parks. Those who enjoy walking are able to walk along the water to these locations in 35-40 minutes. St. Petersburg is a city that has preserved its waterfront with green spaces. We are half an hour's drive from either the Tampa International Airport or the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).
There is no private entrance but the front door works great for everyone. Your bedroom and bathroom is accessed by walking through the living room and to the left. In spite of being in the family home this space is more private than appears as the two of us as usually in the other part of the house. There is no pass through door from the bedroom to the bathroom but they are right next to each other. The bedroom has a queen bed with an adjustable power base and a large closet with hangars and plenty of shelves for folded clothes. Additional supplies and linens are also in this closet as well as a small refrigerator. The bathroom has only a tub altho if you are not shy arrangements can be made to use the master bath shower. A hand-held hair dryer is under the bathroom cabinet. If you need something I don't have immediately available please feel free to ask.
We are located in a safe quiet residential neighborhood known for its quiet elegance and friendliness. There is little traffic other than residents and it is safe to walk even at night which I have done but not nearly as much as I should.
  • This is easily one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. Trudy is an absolute sweetheart and her pup Kai and my dog Milo got along famously. This spot is truly a treasure! We will definitely be back next time we’re in St Pete

    Kristina2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Trudy's place is very clean and comfortable. We hope to book it again in future.

    Ning2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the house and the dog and Trudy‘s hospitality. Yes, there was no shower, but we knew that upfront and she offered us to use the master‘s bathroom. So all good. We had a little coffee maker in the room and a bed with massage function.

    Jenny2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, beautiful room, super soft mattress, with the added bonus of the most gentle dog I’ve encountered in a long time. Quiet neighborhood, convenient parking, off the beaten path, but close enough to the riverfront for a nice walk in the evening. Trudy was a very nice, welcoming, responsive host. I stayed only for one night, but would happily return for a longer stay.

    Marlen2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay at Trudy’s and would stay again. Her communication was prompt and she was very relaxed and easy about having me in her home. The room was so comfortable, the neighborhood beautiful, safe and close to SP, perfect for my one night stay to explore the area. Kai is a sweet older dog.

    Isabel2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Trudy’s home is exactly as listed. It is clean, comfortable, and in a very convenient location. Their dog Kai is a complete sweetheart, and our dog had a great time spending a night with us here. Trudy was kind enough to let our dog hang out in the house while we were out, which was much appreciated. She also gave us a dog-friendly breakfast recommendation; delicious food! 10/10 would go back again with/without puppy in tow.

    Pranjali2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Trudy has a beautiful house in a good location. The room had everything I needed. She provided quick replies, clear communication and a great experience. Also her dog Kai was very nice!

    Callie2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Trudy is a wonderful host and conversationalist. Her co-host Kai is gentle and sweet. Her place is in an upscale neighborhood and is peaceful, relaxing and scenic and with a very relaxing backyard. Easily accessible neighborhood. The spacious room has higher end fine furniture (that I wish we had at home :) ) such as a massage mattress, super soft pillows, fine linens and elegant dining ware. We enjoyed our freshly ground coffee and filtered water. Nice detailed touches. The very large bathtub in the beautifully renovated private bathroom was so spacious that I didn't want to leave it :).

  • This cozy “Sunshine” filled Airbnb apartment in the Sunshine State, Florida, in the Sunshine City, St. Petersburg, was a “Sunny” welcoming home in August 2018 to start my new life in Florida as a Floridian! The abundance of natural sunlight shining through the many widows was a bright, uplifting daily bonus! It was so easy to make myself at home with the comfy oversized recliner, smart tv, cable, WIFI and a large dining room table which made a productive office desk for my laptop, printer, paperwork and books. I felt very safe in the Historic Old Northeast neighborhood which is overflowing with charm, character, uniqueness and beautiful trees everywhere! A major plus of this Airbnb’s location is the short walking distance to both downtown St. Petersburg’s livelihood and the peaceful waterfront parks. The world renown beaches of St. Pete Beach, Clearwater Beach and many, many more beaches are just a convenient and enjoyable car trip away! The host, Gina-Marie, is a kind and friendly local with knowledge and recommendations of St. Petersburg. It is obvious that Gina-Marie loves antiques and flea market treasures which are creatively and vastly displayed throughout her Airbnb house, apartment, front porch, lawn and patios.

  • This house is a great place to stay within 15 minutes' walking distance of downtown St Pete. Gina is a fantastic host and is a lot of fun to live with, the house is beautiful with fun decorations everywhere and the rooms are in great condition. The second you walk into the house you'll be taken aback at all of the items on the walls and shelves, and the house is as fun to stay in as it looks, without ever being too much if you need to relax. The house is also located in a great neighbourhood that's completely safe at night and is only a couple blocks away from both the bay and stores.

  • Matt's place was as perfect as the pictures. He is a wonderful host and responds to emails very quickly. We wanted to have a real Christmas tree in the living room and this was not a problem for him, it also made our stay very special. We were four adults staying for ten days and it worked out fine. The sleeper sofa is comfortable and our son and his partner must have slept well as it was always late in the day when they got up. Parking was no problem, most days we parked right outside the unit and on other days in the dedicated parking lot. I would highly recommend staying here.

  • This AirBnB is so charming. It looks exactly like the pictures on the site. It was so clean . I am an older woman traveling alone and I felt perfectly safe staying there. The apartment is approximately two blocks from the bay. I did get to see dolphins playing by the Sea Wall. There is always something going on in St.Pete. Shopping, restaurants and there is a large park by the bay you can get to by walking, biking or by car. You can get involved or not. I highly recommend Matt's place to stay in St.Petersburg. Lisa Clark, Atlanta Georgia Thank You Matt!

  • Location is good for walking to nearby restaurants and shops. The apartment was simple but had all we needed including dishes, wine glasses, cooking pans, utensils, a coffee pot, linens, and towels. Parking was included and check-in/check-out was easy.

  • We had a great stay in Maria’s apartment! It’s a nice home in a good location. Maria was a great host. We found the apartment to be clean, and she was very fast to respond to messages.

  • Great and cute spot to stay! Close enough for a short lyft ride to downtown, walking distance to crescent lake park and a short drive to the beaches! We couldn’t get connected to the WiFi but hey, we were on vacation so who needs it anyways 😜

  • This Cozy Cottage is exactly that! We have stayed here during our FL visit for four years now and would not even consider another place. Ken and Renee are warm, friendly and extremely kind hosts. Your every need will be met. The cottage is immaculately clean, well appointed and in a beautiful neighborhood, a stone's throw from a residential beach and a 10 min. walk to the best dining in St Petersburg. Delightful!

  • Location, location, location! This cottage is located on a quiet street in the historic Northeast district but only a short walk to all the best restaurants, shops, the marina, museums and downtown St. Pete. We got lots of walking exercise and saw so many of the sights. The only time we used our rental car was a day trip to Honeymoon Beach! The cottage is super comfortable with every amenity! We highly recommend it!

  • Clean and comfortable, perfect Old Northeast location, thoughtful hosts. Ideal!

    Lawrence2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • This little cottage/apartment was right where I needed it to be. It is clean, has great value, and the hosts are responsive. It was close to downtown and the place I was working at. It is walking distance to the Vinoy Hotel. You need a bicycle if you really want to get around beyond the immediate area to get to the restaurants downtown (they do offer you bikes and I thought of buying a folding bike). There is a parking decal for one car, so don't take two cars if you are bringing more people. I enjoyed it.

    San2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • I will echo what many others have said. This is a fantastic location for exploring the Northeast and downtown. The cottage is very roomy and comfortable. It is clean and well supplied with all the essentials. Renee and Ken are excellent hosts. They are friendly and helpful. Communication was easy. The North Shore Pool, Black Crow Coffee, Kopsick Arboretum and 4th Street Shrimp Store were all great fun to visit.

Private apartment above a garage in a lushly landscaped yard. Queen bed, vaulted ceilings, walk-in shower, gorgeous built-in maple cabinetry, recessed lighting, mini-kitchen including counter-height fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hotplate and coffee maker. Not a full kitchen. Gleaming cherry floors. Flat-screen TV, cable, CD/DVD, wi-fi, pool and hot tub, laundry. Koi pond with waterfall lulls you to sleep. Private parking. I have bikes for you to use to explore the waterfront or downtown. Friendly dog and two cats share the fenced triple lot. There are sitting areas for you by the pond and pool. High-end but homey, great for a romantic getaway or a business traveller. You can be close to everything but in a safe, pretty neighborhood. The neighborhood is called Old Northeast and it's the main waterfront historic district, with many houses built in the 20's and 30's, brick streets, granite curbs and mature trees. It's only 2 blocks to the waterfront from here. You can bike right downtown and see dolphins and manatees on the way. Come visit my jungle!
  • Sidney’s place was everything I expected and so much more. The “jungle” is beautiful and the neighborhood is as charming as any you’ll ever see. Near everything and a great place to settle down. I had to work remotely for 2 days and the space was well suited for my needs. Sidney was super responsive and friendly. Cannot wait to come back. Highly recommended!

  • The location could not have been more perfect! Not only is the back yard gorgeous but you’re close to everything. Even though the mother in law suite is in the back yard it is still very private. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

  • Nicole's place was perfect for my husband and I. It's small, cozy, super clean with everything we needed. We found it to be great value for staying in St. Petersburg. Major League baseball training camps are not too far away in Sarasota but we chose to stay here & explore St. Petersburg . St. Petersburg is AHHMAZING! Nicole's place is a couple of blocks from the bay. We walked over and simply followed the side walk along the beach all the way downtown. Surroundings are absolutely gorgeous...from the cobblestone streets, tropical atmosphere, gorgeous public park along the beach and last but not least-numerous top-notch restaurants/ cafe's along the bay. Nicole's place is within walking distance from everything! We'd go back in a heart beat! Thanks Nicole.

Great walking ability.

  • Great 2-night stay at this cottage. Located in a quiet and charming residential neighborhood, the cozy space was perfect for my husband and I. Check in was a breeze with a lockbox. Solid amenities, in laying bottled water, mini fridge, and microwave. Dana left helpful local tips to explore the area along with restaurant suggestions. While we spent most of our day out and about exploring St.Pete, the cottage offered the perfect place to sleep and recharge our batteries. We would gladly booked and stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Danielle2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience! Dana was communicative, the place was clean, great water pressure, stocked with a few water bottles, and the instructions were very clear and helpful!

    Philip2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay with Dana. We arrived a little later than expected, but this was no issue. We got into our unit with no issues with the help of a lockbox. The room was tidy and had everything we needed. Dana provides you with coffee and water and a helpful list of things and activities due to around the area. The location was perfect, for it was central and close to everything! Would definitely recommend.

    Diana2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great host and location for stays in St. Pete!

    Rob2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The guesthouse is exactly as described and pictured. Small but cozy, the guesthouse has everything you could need for a short stay. Extra amenities, including shampoo, conditioner, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, beach towels, rain umbrella, heater, and coffee were even provided. Hot water was plentiful in the shower and the bed was very soft. Located in the backyard of the main house, guests are able to enter through a side gate and park on a side street. The guest house has an outside light that can be left on if you are returning home late. The proximity to downtown and easy drive to the beach and Tampa were what drew us to the guesthouse. We walked downtown in less than 20 minutes. We felt safe but keep in mind that some of the streets are not well lit. Dana provided detailed instructions for check in and includes recommendations in the guest house. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back and recommend to others!

  • Amazing stay in St.Pete. Nicole was super responsive via the app and made our stay that much better. Kind of hard to find because its tucked into its own corner so I would recommend checking in during the day. The apartment is really close to downtown with some nice shops around in the neighborhood too. Definitely will book again when I go back to St.Pete.

  • Nicole’s place was amazing! Very much what you would expect based on the pictures posted. Close to the Vinoy, within walking distance to a bunch of great restaurants, and overall a great stay! Would recommend this place to others!

    Sarah2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Location is absolutely killer, with outstanding value for the cost. Easy access to Beach Drive amenities, and a free parking spot can't be beat. Access is up a rather rickety staircase to the third floor, so this isn't recommended if you have any mobility restrictions. The bathroom shower proved not to be any sort of issue, against some of the other negative reviews. Highly recommend!

Newly renovated one bedroom apartment offering upgraded kitchen, bathroom and living area. Whether you’re simply looking for a place to rest your head after an adventurous day or prepare a gourmet meal this professionally decorated apartment is set up for all of your needs. Located in downtown St Petersburg (The Burg as the locals like to call it.) within walking distance of all the magic that makes St Petersburg so spectacular. Dogs are welcome but cats and other pets are not.
Welcome to Sunshine City House. The home you are staying in was built in the early 1900's and though it has been updated it still has the subtle charm associated with a simpler time. Your unit is located the farthest from the water heater therefore; it will take a few minutes for the hot water to get to you.
As noted this area of St Petersburg has an excellent walking score. The Palladium is across the street, the Vinoy Hotel and Resort as well as Beach Dr and our waterfront parks are located four blocks away. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee Kahwa Coffee is locate one block to the east and Black Crow Coffee Shop is located at 2nd St N and 7th Ave N which is three blocks to the northeast. In the same building as Black Crow you will find the Old Northeast Tavern which is a local favorite.
  • The space was very clean. Couch bed was comfortable and easy to set-up. We had complimentary coffee and free streaming services, such as Netflix, Youtube TV, etc. We felt the area was very safe. The location was a short walk to many restaurants, shops, and the water. The Chihuly Collection and Dali Museum were a few minutes away by car. Steve, the host, was very quick to respond and very hospitable. Our stay could not of been more perfect here!

  • We enjoyed staying here during our brief visit to St. Petersburg. Great value for this stay. Would come back again.

    Colleen2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely perfect for travellers who want to explore the downtown scene at St. Pete, not to mention close to the Suncoast Beach Trolley, an excellent way to explore the Gulf beaches. It is a perfectly situated modern apartment within walking distance of all the amenities (particularly, great restaurants) in the area. Best Airbnb I've stayed at. It is private and quiet and I slept like a rock every night. I did not cook dinners while I was there, but the kitchen is fully equipped and I enjoyed light breakfasts before starting each day. Steve, the superhost, is friendly, helpful and very courteous. I would even venture to say I could call it a second home and would not hesitate to rebook if I were to return to this part of Florida.

    Kirk2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Steve was an awesome and responsive host! Perfect location if you want to be in the heart of everything! Easy walk to tons of restaurants and Jannus for concerts. Super soft bath towels and perfectly clean space! The building is older/historic so you can easily hear neighbors and outside activities but everyone we encountered was friendly. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Replenish your soul while you relax in this quiet carriage house apartment in charming Historic Old Northeast. The apartment is brightly lit with views of the surrounding tree canopy. Quick walk to downtown restaurants, North Shore Park Beach (the perfect picnic spot!), or stay in and enjoy dining in your private garden. The apartment is tastefully modern with historic touches–fully renovated in January 2017.
Retreat for Couples. Ideal for long-term guests/transitional housing.
Old Northeast is a historic neighborhood adjoining downtown to the north. This highly walkable neighborhood features friendly neighbors, eclectic architecture, brick streets, picket fences, and dense greenery.
  • Vanessa and her co-host Hallie are truly super hosts. They responded quickly and effectively to my every question and need. The location is great for access to the bay and downtown St. Pete.

    Joseph2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • The location was great! The unit is best for one or two people as it is small. You can easily walk over to North Shore Park or Coffeepot Bayou. You can also walk downtown but it is a bit of a hike. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and the Old Northeast section is very charming .

    John2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Vanessa's place was absolutely perfect for us. We wanted to be close to our son's family for Thanksgiving. It was a two block walk. That also meant that there were three coffee shops and two of my favorite restaurants within a five minute walk. Add to that the quiet ultra clean quarters, we were most pleased

    Gregory2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute place but really tiny. It's okay for 2 people. Super clean and bed is really comfy. Only complaint is the lighting in the unit is not great. Not much natural light so I would recommend a lighted makeup mirror attached to the wall of the bathroom. There was a French press and an electric kettle. Suggest a regular coffee maker and old condiments in the fridge should be thrown away. I would definitely recommend this place.

    Kathy2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Vanessa’s place was perfect for us. Old NE is a wonderful neighborhood in St Pete. The apartment was exactly as advertised. Spotless, great value for the location, comfortable and Vanessa was an excellent host. We hope her place is available for our next visit to St Pete. Many thanks!

    Katharine2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • My stay at Vanessa’s place was great. It was the perfect size for my needs - I was staying there between moving out of my apartment in St Pete and moving back to NY. Vanessa was very quick to respond when emailed with questions. The apartment was very clean and the perfect proximity to the waterfront for walks after work. It’s also close to all the fabulous restaurants along Beach Drive. I would stay again when I come back to St Pete to visit friends!

My little green studio is located in my back yard. It’s only 2 min drive from downtown St Pete or a 25 min walk. There are many restaurants and shops on 4th st which is right around the corner. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. There are few parks about 10 min walking distance and the beach is 20 min away by car. I have 2 French bulldogs. You might see them in the back yard. They love to play!

But I most appreciate Anna’s timely responses and her willingness to accommodate my weird schedule. Highly recommend.

    Lacee2020-02-09T00:00:00Z

  • Cozy room in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood. Andre and Michelle are welcoming and fun hosts. It's a comfortable house with a semi-private feeling for guests on one side of the house and a shared kitchen and nice patio space.

    Matthew2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts were incredibly hospitable, and the location of the apartment was amazing. Safe neighborhood. Check out the Black Crow Coffee Shop, which is only a short walk, for some amazing local coffee. Would stay here again.

    Oleg2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle and Andre were such wonderful hosts, and they and their home met all of our expectations! For a few extra bucks, they prepared a delicious breakfast served on the back patio while we all shared fun stories with each other. They also ensured that we had any questions answered about the St. Pete area, whether regarding restaurants, history, cultural events, etc. We were also pleased with our accommodations and amenities. Our stay with Andre and Michelle truly added to our stay in St. Pete. :)

    Kitty2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Timely communication made checking in easy. Michelle and Andre explained the procedure and codes for our private entrance and using the bedroom, kitchen, living-dining room, and bathroom. Two bedrooms share the bathroom but the other bedroom was empty so we had it to ourselves. . We brought food for our light breakfasts and that worked great for us. Guests can use space in the refrigerator and use the microwave for cooking. We liked sitting at the big table for breakfast and to use our computer and tablet. The bedroom was our private space and had a big flat screen TV with cable. We slept well there. We had great conversations and sharing times with Michelle and Andre. They were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and places to go in St Pete. We came as strangers and left as friends!

    Linda2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • An excellent address, Michelle and André are warm hosts and very good advice for visiting the main sites of the city. Their house is very well located. André is French-speaking.

Enjoy a huge room with private bath in our beautiful home within walking distance of all the amenities that downtown St. Pete has to offer: gorgeous waterfront parks that run for miles, great restaurants, museums, entertainment and shopping. "Homemade everything" healthy breakfast provided! Check out our new listing https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/28715128. Can be combined for larger parties. Both rooms are in our home, one upstairs, one down, and have a dedicated non-shared bathroom.
Nestled in a beautiful neighborhood of St. Petersburg, this large guest room, in a private home with a private bath and seating area, is one block from the third largest waterfront park system in North America where bike and walking trails surround the Bay. There is no other neighborhood like this one, featured in "This Old House" as one of the top ten historic bungalow neighborhoods in the USA. We are a short walk (.9 of a mile) to restaurants, museums, galleries, clubs and more. Saint Petersburg has been voted the #1 medium sized art town in the US three years in a row. It is home to the Dali Museum, the Chihuly Art Glass Museum, the Holocaust Museum, Imagine Museum of Art Glass, The James Museum of Western Art, and a Museum of Fine Arts. Don't miss the wonderful Saturday Morning Market in St. Pete with great food, local organic produce, art and craft vendors and live music. (Labor Day thru Memorial Day, 9:00-2:00) You can walk there right along the bay! At a shady park a few blocks away during the summer. Suitable for one person or a couple or add an air mattress to your room for an extra guest or kids. Guests are welcome to share the whole house. This sweet bungalow has front and back porches for outdoor living and easy free parking. We have four kayaks (a double and three singles) and three bicycles available for your use. Traveling with a little one? We have a pack & play for your use and thick comfy sleeping bags if you need them. Juice boxes are in the fridge! A gourmet, full breakfast is available on Sunday, continental on Saturday and weekdays. Special occasion? Talk to me about catering and having guests. We are located 30 minutes from the Tampa Airport, and close to Busch Gardens, Ybor City and International Mall. Take a day trip to Disney World, Sea World or Universal Studios, just 90 minutes away. There is a large public pool and and a public "Bay" beach just three blocks away. Gulf Beaches are a short 15 minute drive or dedicated trolley ride away. These are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We have one well behaved, cocker spaniel that loves company. We would consider a medium to small dog as a guest (30.00 cleaning fee for pets is due upon arrival). Note: We are pleased to say the bed now is a queen size (new, late 2018). So comfy! Note: When you inquire, could you please help me get to know you by describing yourself and your trip? Thank you.
The New York Times says, "This quiet residential neighborhood stuffed with old houses is the opposite of the happening downtown scene, which might just be its appeal. Those discovering this area, largely through word of mouth, say they love its sense of community while relishing the easy access to downtown. With its eclectic architecture, brick streets, picket fences and lush foliage, the neighborhood offers an odd blend of New England style and tropical sensibility. Despite its residential nature, it is just north of St. Petersburg’s downtown, making it convenient to the city’s booming cultural and entertainment scene. It also offers easy access for out-of-towners, since it is just 20 minutes from Tampa International Airport."
  • Linda and Warren are excellent and very knowledgeable at providing a wonderful St. Petersburg experience! Absolutely beautiful home just blocks away from amazing food, entertainment, and an amazing biking/walking path that has access to a gorgeous sugar sand beach! There hospitality was amazing with there continental breakfast of homemade breads, homemade granola, farm fresh eggs, yogurts and an assortment of jams and organic peanut butter! Not to mention the delicious fresh fruits and freshly brewed local coffee! A truly delightful couple that where very accommodating and had bikes and kayaks to use which was so nice for us! They are both wonderful conversationalist, and fun! We stayed for two nights but wish we would of booked a longer visit!!!!!!

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Linda and Warren’s place. The neighbourhood is lovely for walking and their home is a short stroll to Tampa Bay, with a wonderful biking/walking path along the harbour! Linda provides the best continental breakfasts ever - delicious home made breads and granola, as well as a variety of fresh fruit ... and the Sunday brunch was amazing!! Thank you ever so much for the pleasure of being your guests! Sonya and Arnold

    Sonya2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Have you ever been someplace - a museum, a restaurant, a hike on the mountains - where it seemed like every time you turned around, there was something do interesting you couldn't believe you missed it before? Linda and Warren have created just such a refuge in their home. Artistic spirit inhabits every part of the house, from paintings and sculptures to the fresh bread Linda bakes.

    Todd2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome stay in St. Petersburg!! Linda and Warren are wonderful hosts and were very accommodating when we arrived very late at night. Lovely home and so welcoming with original art work throughout the house. Breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed our morning conversations with them. We definitely plan on coming back and staying with them in the future.

  • My sister and I had a fabulous time while staying with Linda and Warren. The hosts conveyed an atmosphere of being with established friends. It was a great experience. We enjoyed a Continental breakfast every morning. Room was very clean and cozy. There is so much to do in St Pete. I was sorry we didn't have a longer stay.

  • The best place! Very quiet and nice! You can walk to a small beach with volleyball and softball courts, to have a good relaxing time! You can also walk to good restaurants and bars! The stay with Linda and Warren was great! Linda is very worried about the daily breakfast and the gourmet breakfast she prepares! Very delicious!!! I highly recommend this place !!!

Our neighborhood is "Historic Old Northeast" which is a beautiful historic area. We are just a few blocks from a CVS, Starbucks, and many many restaurants. • This is my second stay here and still loved it. Quiet, clean, easy access to Beach Drive and downtown St Pete. The unit has everything you need and Sheila is great with communication. I'll be back!

  • Great location to enjoy St. Pete.

    Adrian & Annette2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for one or two people. Small but cozy, and we weren't planning to spend a ton of time there, since the best part about it was the location - walking distance to downtown and the bayfront. I loved the neighborhood too - so cute and quiet. The patio is also great for hanging out and relaxing, especially at night with the string lights. Sheila and Jeff were very communicative and checked in on us via text to make sure we had everything we needed.

  • Location, location, location. We brought our bikes and could be anywhere downtown within minutes.

    Mike & Kim2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The selling point for me was not only the great location but how the description said it would come with two bikes to ride around. I was really disappointed when the day before I asked about them and was told they would not be available for my stay. But overall the place was just what we were looking for and they were great hosts! I would definitely recommend people to stay here.

  • This Airbnb was by far the best place I have ever stayed. Gina was very welcoming and made me feel at home. She gave me advice on local places to check out and her recommendations were always great. In addition to the experience, her home was clean and well maintained. I could not have pictured my summer in St. Pete any more amazing than this summer spent at Gina's Airbnb.

    Ryan2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • If you want a memorable visit to St Petersburg this is the perfect spot to be. It's artsy, quaint, and cozy; not to mention the location is superb. Gina Marie is a wonderful host and a beautiful soul. She will make you feel at home, while offering a unique vibe that coincides with the burg.

  • Enjoyed my stay. The house is about a half mile from the downtown area. It is also about a mile from the nearest Publix supermarket. The shared arrangements work well. Each guest has a specific area for their groceries and there are enough bathrooms to support the number of expected guests. The host lives in the house. Recommend.

    Robert2019-04-02T00:00:00Z

There's a perfectly sized kitchen that's equipped with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal if that's your thing. And the shower endless hot water!

  • Kevin's place is in a wonderful location in Saint Petersburg, the area is quite beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and the towels were excellent. He even supplied coffee and sugar, the cream or milk is on you. He also was very thoughtful to supply toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap if you didn't have any. He was always available when you called him, which was nice. This is a clean older apartment that is perfect for exploring the area.

    Christine2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • First off, Kevin is a delight. When we ran into issues with the AC, he zipped right over to check it out and troubleshoot. Something that stood out to me was when he arrived at the apartment and I opened the door, he asked, “Can I come in?” It may seem like a small thing, but it really speaks to Kevin’s character. As a woman in a city I’m unfamiliar with, it was comforting for a man to go out of his way to ensure that I and my girlfriend were at ease. Second, the apartment itself is beautifully decorated, very tidy but still homey, and located just blocks away from the bay in one direction and a main street in the other. 10/10 would stay here again!!

    Samantha2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful and peaceful neighborhood; easy walk to a number of restaurants and short drive to downtown St Pete. Comfy bed and living room. Small but decently equipped kitchen. Note the dehumidifier is quite loud and seems to run all the time. Good place for 2 people that won’t be doing a ton of cooking.

    Andrea2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nice apartment in an older building in historic old northeast. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Very easy check in and out. Great area close to downtown. Would definitely stay again! In fact, tried to book again, but sold out for our dates. Thanks for a great stay Kevin!

  • Kevin is an excellent host. Immediate communications always. Perfect size apartment for a couple. I was worried about street parking, but it wasn't a problem. I'd stay here again, if the opportunity arose.

  • We loved staying at Kevin's place in downtown St. Pete. It was the perfect location for a night out downtown and a lovely walk to the restaurants and bars. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed including toiletries, fluffy towels and kitchen items!

  • Great location - cool neighborhood and close to the water, parks, etc. Had an issue with the TV, but Kevin came right over and resolved it.

  • My husband and I stayed for three nights and we wish it could have been longer. Joy’s place is immaculately clean and very stylish. Everything you need for your stay is available. The bed is super comfortable with very nice linens. There is also a nice outdoor sitting area. We also loved the location in the historic old northeast. Very safe and close to downtown . Joy’s guidebook was also helpful for restaurants and coffee shops. All in all, our expectations were exceeded.

  • I rented Joy’s place for my mother to stay at while she attended a week long art class in St. Pete. My mother said it was so nice to return to Joy’s immaculate, sweetly decorated studio at the end of some very long days. It was sparkling clean and had everything my mom needed for her stay. She hopes to return again next year and stay at Joy’s place.

  • Joy's space is wonderful - it's impeccably clean, spacious and has everything you need for your stay in St Pete. It's also located in one of the best areas in St Pete! Joy is quick to respond, should you need anything. I would definitely recommend a stay here, and will stay again myself in the future.

  • This unit was wonderful - clean, comfortable, private and in a great location. Joy was responsive and easy to communicate with. We would stay here again!

  • This is just perfect. Walkable, quiet, supremely clean, and excellent amenities!

    Hallie2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • It's a clean comfortable space. I had no trouble finding street parking right across the street. It's also a fairly easy walk down to the waterfront area with galleries, restaurants and interesting shops. The host is right on site as and very friendly.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Joy’s place! We visit St Pete 2-3 times a year and this is one of the quietest, cleanest Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Our goal is to relax when we visit and we were able to do just that! The bed is very comfortable, everything was spotless, and the neighborhood is quaint, safe and close to down town. The tv is on rollers so you can move it from the living room to the bedroom which we found very convenient! And it’s a roku so you can enjoy Netflix, Hulu etc. We will definitely stay again! (Shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well as granola bars and water in the fridge were a very nice touch 🥰) thanks for a great stay!

  • I was in St. Pete's for work and decided to stay a few days extra to explore this fun town. Joy's place was a perfect home base! We were not there other than to sleep, but it was clean and comfortable, and walkable to downtown. It is also easy to ride share to beaches/airport. We appreciated the small touches like beach towels and cold water in the fridge. Highly recommend!

Our neighborhood is "Historic Old Northeast" which is a beautiful historic area. We are just a few blocks from a CVS, Starbucks, and many, many restaurants. Tennis courts and volleyball courts are within walking distance. This is a wonderful time of the year to visit St Pete.
  • Very convenient location

  • Sheila's place is wonderful. It's very conveniently located within walking distance of downtown St. Pete and any other shopping you might need. Sheila is very quick to respond to requests for assistance but also gives you privacy so that you feel like the place is your own. There is only one other room, so it is a very quiet place. The pool is nice even though it was too cool for us to use it. I would highly recommend Sheila's place, it is a great value and exceeded our expectations!

  • Great location!

    Jessica2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint and quiet neighborhood close to downtown & 4th restaurants. We walked to Black Crow coffee on 2nd every morning (great place next to laundromat, pizza and tavern). Host was very responsive and gave good instructions. Check in was easy. Comfy cottage with snacks, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, shampoo, ice trays, toaster oven. Pool.

  • My family had an awesome time staying with Sheila. Their home is very close to Vinoy Park in a beautiful neighborhood. Their place was everything we wanted and they even went out of their way to find us a pack and play from their neighbors to but our 20 month old in. Thanks!

  • Super cute Airbnb that’s close to everything! We loved staying at Sheila and Kevin’s place, it’s in a super cute neighborhood, we loved walking around looking at all the houses. We also loved how close it was to shops and restaurants! Sheila and Kevin were incredible hosts, they made sure we were all good during our stay and we loved meeting Lily, their dog as well! Highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to St.Pete area!

    Nikki2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so cute - only 3 blocks from the water, and walking distance to many restaurants. Sheila was super nice about allowing us to check in early, which I really appreciated. Everything was clean, and there were some really considerate touches, such as snacks and coffee. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if my travels take me to St. Pete’s.
