  • This is truly the best place the location is incredible for going out in the day and coming back to the lovely warm fire and hot tub or just stay in enjoying the lovely scenery around the pod. There was a variety of games to keep us entertained at all times. 100% recommend and will be coming back.

  • We went for a 30th Birthday and it was lovely! Amber was a lovely host and easily contactable she showed us everything before she left, made sure we was happy, and made it known she was available 24/7 if anything happened! The pod was stunning, and the views are incredible! It is private and you have the hot tub and kitchen to yourselves which was great for us! I would highly recommend, such a lovely place for such a great price you can’t beat it! I would stay again!

  • This was a really special place to get away from it all. The rural location of the dome, set in a private garden, with hot tub and sauna, was just magical. All the little touches - wood burning fire, blankets, games, flowers, fully equipped kitchen, fairy lights - made this a warm, cosy little holiday. Our boys (15 and 12) happily went without their gadgets for two whole days and had the best time.

  • The dome was a fantastic place to stay. Huge size, great views, nice king size bed with an infrared sauna and an outdoor hot tub to boot. Our stay was made extra special by Virginia who went out of her way to ensure that our return to the dome as a newly engaged couple was unforgettable. Highly recommend... you will not be disappointed.

  • We have just spent a long weekend at the dome for my friends hen do. The farm and it’s surrounding setting is beautiful and it was so lovely to have our own garden, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and bathroom/sauna building to ourselves, the amenities were all excellent. Amber was an amazing host and helped us to get the fire in the dome going and ensured we could relight it to keep toasty warm the following day, she also helped out when one of our party had a flat tyre before we left! Everyone at the farm was super friendly and gave us plenty of help with regards to good local walks and places to visit. We can’t recommend the dome and Amber enough and would all love to come back for another visit as we felt so welcome.

  • Had a great weekend at the glamping dome! Beds comfy and kitchen and bathroom facilities excellent for a weekend break. Definitely a comfier camping-style experience. Booked the dome for a friend’s hen weekend. Got a lovely greeting on arrival from the owners of the farm. It was very private. Hot tub and sauna were great additions. Would definitely book again!

There is a lovely pub open down the road if you don't fancy cooking. Tea, coffee, milk and toiletries are provided. Wifi is available.
This is a really relaxing area just off the main road to St Davids and 5 minutes outside Haverfordwest it is very peaceful and quiet. Six miles from the coast and a great central location from which to explore the Pembrokeshire National Park.

  • Lovely to return to the Cwtch. Great location for exploring Pembrokeshire and a lovely and cosy hide away from the Welsh weather.

  • Really enjoyed our stay here. Great size for 2 people, very nicely decorated and has everything you need and more. It feels very private and Glyn qnd Jill were very nice. Would stay again :)

  • The Cwtch is a wonderful little retreat! A perfect size for two people. The space was spotless and there were plenty of amenities for cooking, washing etc. Coming back to the Cwtch after cold days of walking and swimming was lovely. Glyn was very friendly and happy to answer any queries we had. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a cosy base to explore the beautiful Pembroke coast. Thank you Glyn and Jill!

    Edward2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed one night here and it is faultless! Easy check-in, Glyn was very nice and friendly and explained everything we needed to know! The off-street parking was awesome to have, and the place itself is like a studio apartment separate from the main house, very warm and insulated! The heart wall is adorable :) the place has everything you could want! Since Glyn and jill had nobody arriving the day we left, we were told we could leave whenever - we had a lovely relaxed morning and are very grateful for their flexibility! Would definitely recommend this place!

  • The fact that this is the third time I have gone for a long weekend here should speak for itself. It is a lovely self contained apartment and (for me) is just perfect for getting away from everyday life four a weekend. The dramatic coast is justa few minutes driva away and penty of ameneties in the local town which is just a mile away.

Walk down the wooded valley right from the back door of this restored historic miner's cottage. Period features like flagstone floors and beamed, vaulted ceilings meet contemporary conveniences such as underfloor heating and a free-standing tub.
A lovely spacious cottage with rustic Pembrokeshire character situated right next to the coast. Two double bedrooms, open plan living area, large kitchen and spacious veranda. The cottage is located close to Nolton Haven, Newgale, Little haven and druidston beach. All of which have pubs and restaurants to suit your needs. The cottage accommodates 4 people. There is a good sized master bedroom with amazing views and a kingsized bed. There is a second bedroom with a comfy double bed with an ensuite bathroom. Both bedrooms have adequate storage and hanging space for clothes. The main bathroom has a stand alone bath, which is great for relaxing. The cottage has an office room which could accommodate an extra guest on a sofa bed. The kitchen is fitted with a cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee machine and all necessary utensils. The open plan living room has a comfy sofa, a "42" flat screen TV, record player, books to browse through and a range of board games. The cottage has under floor heating, access to wifi, internet connection and use of a washing machine and dryer. Overlooking the flowery meadow is the south facing veranda which is perfect for watching the dramatic coastal sunsets. The cottage is situated by national trust woodland, so it is not uncommon to see birds of prey, foxes and the residential barn owl.
Situated in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park and surrounded by National Trust land, Carren Bach cottage is part of the Southwood Estate. Spot all kinds of wildlife, surf, and discover numerous nearby villages, pubs, and restaurants.
  • What else to say that hasn't already been said in all of the other 5* reviews? We had a wonderful weekend relaxing and unwinding, even in the rain this place is still magical. As another review said, if you're thinking about booking here, just do it!

    Henry2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re after a stunning, secluded location, yet close to amenities, an increasingly space full of character and are inspiring decor and views.... look no further!! We could have moved in and wished we could have stayed far longer. We hope to visit again in summertime. Watching the sun go down in the hot tub was certainly a highlight I’d like to repeat!

    Mariza2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • This property is amazing. No detail is forgotten about and the whole place is stunning. The photos show the property off well, bit don’t do it justice! We stayed during a pretty stormy weekend and the weather actually made the weekend better - the underfloor heating is lovely, the living area is stunning and the light and airy upstairs bedroom has wonderful views, whether the sun is shining or the rain and wind beating down (the feature window!). The owners have kitted this place out so there is nothing you want for, the retro record player was a brilliant touch (along with an excellent and “varied” record collection), as is the coffee machine. Obviously though, the hot tub is the main “extra”, being based in a very cool hut with sliding barn doors so you can enjoy wide views outside whilst being out of the elements if the weather is harsh (as it was when we were there!). It’s amazing to sit sheltered in the hut (with the cool retro decor) whilst the elements do their thing. Would fully recommend this property and we can’t wait to go back in warmer months to enjoy the outdoor spaces (BBQ area, seating deck and lawns).

    Alex2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here with my wife and 1 year old child. Would give it 6 stars if I could, absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend to any couples on their own or with a small child as the under floor heating and cleanliness makes it great for them to crawl around on. The itinerary was great and Emma gave us some ideas for things to do, just think beaches, small towns, coffee shops, pub lunches etc. A must book if you haven’t already stayed here, breathtaking views and you genuinely feel like you’re ’off the grid’ in your own little world.

  • We had a very enjoyable experience at Carren Bach. We wanted somewhere to unwind and escape our busy lives. Emma was a super host made us feel very welcome and very helpful. The place is beautiful and very cosy.

  • We loved our stay at Carren Bach Cottage, which kept us warm and cosy throughout the storm! The rooms were beautiful and the amenities - especially the kitchen - were fantastic. Heated floor was a lovely touch, as was the record player, and we loved the style and decor too - it's clear lots of thought has gone into making Carren Bach a wonderful place to stay.

    Victoria2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a lovely 3 days at Carren Bach. Emma was in contact before we visited making sure we had all the information we might need. Carren Bach was the perfect accommodation, beautifully decorated. We made regular use of the hot tub and record player. We are already planning when we can visit again!

    Kirstie2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Had a wonderful relaxing stay at Carren Bach. Particularly enjoyed sitting in the hot tub on a rainy January afternoon looking out at the fileds and hills!

Rogeston is situated in a secluded rural location on a quiet country lane just three miles from the sea and the National Park yet only five miles from the supermarkets and amenities of Haverfordwest. Druidstone, Nolton , Broadhaven and Newgale are our nearest beaches. Being more or less mid way along the Pembrokeshire coast, Rogeston is ideally located for exploring all of the county with its beautiful beaches and attractions for all ages including highlights such as the picturesque seaside town of Tenby and the tiny city of St Davids with its stunning cathedral. There are numerous options for walkers including the spectacular coastal path which runs the length of the Pembrokeshire coast. Woodlands , mountains and estuary rivers provide alternative scenery for walking or cycling. In the spring and summer months a wildlife spotting boat trip to one of the islands is a must. For eating and drinking we are lucky to have the famously quirky Druidstone Hotel with its relaxed and welcoming bar and restaurant ( look out for the regular 'Feast' nights ) only an 8 minute drive or a 45 minute walk from the cottage. The sea view from the garden and restaurant is glorious - the perfect place to watch the sun go down or for a winter lunch. Despite the region's attractions traffic jams are few and far between. Beaches are never overcrowded even in the summer months making Pembrokeshire an ideal destination for a seaside holiday without the crowds. Information leaflets and recommendations are available in the cottage.
  • Highly recommended for a short break. Perfectly situated for Pembrokeshire coast and walks and a lovely bolt hole from the world. Kay has done a fantastic job kitting out and the master bedroom in particular is really comfy. The woodburner is a central part of the experience if cold too! Clean, welcoming and easy to find.

    Tim2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of the world. We were visiting during Storm Ciara but felt completely protected against the elements, especially with the unlimited firewood for the woodburner! Lots of thoughtful touches from the hosts, and helpful communication when storm was forecast to meet our trip :)

  • My husband and I (and our dogs) stayed at the Stables for 10 nights over Christmas and New Year. It was so cosy and the perfect retreat to really unwind - as well as being close to some stunning beaches and great places to hike. The kitchen was really well stocked and we were able to comfortably cook Christmas dinner. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. Kay’s communication from enquiry to booking and throughout our stay was very good and any questions we had were always answered very quickly. Thank you Kay for a great stay - we hope to come back in the future.

    Becca2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • A very quiet, calm and cosy place to spend a week - for me in the middle of winter but still enough sunny days for long walks with the dog and to explore the bay. The place has so many nice touches, and great communication from Kay. Would very much recommend.

    Sara2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second time to The Stables and it remained true to our memories. Cosy, comfortable and stylish in a location that is not too far from anywhere worth visiting. The log burner was an absolute delight and essential for warming up the place especially during more cold snaps. We had all we needed to cook some delicious meals in and our houndy, Wellington, loved his first time in Pembrokeshire. Thank you Kay and Charlie got a wonderful stay. We look forward to coming back once bump is born!

A stunning conversion of a 1,000 year old building by the architect owners who have carefully preserved the character of this medieval treasure whilst creating a generous contemporary home with all the comforts and facilities for modern day living.
Walking around the house you are constantly leaping back and forth across millennia… Beneath the fine old Victorian roof is a spacious and comfortable double-height living area focused upon the elegant Stuv woodburner by night, and countryside views through the 15th Century windows by day… Beyond the Romanesque font are the clean lines of a generous dining area overlooked by a modern kitchen specifically designed to include the old oak altar… And overlooking the main entertaining spaces is a mezzanine gallery with two small (4' double) sofa beds and two workstations, leading to two small bedrooms (4'6" double beds here) in the eaves with fantastic views over the Preseli Hills… And if that wasn't enough there is the boutique hotel bathroom allowing you to daydream in the bath looking out through a medieval window!
High Haven sits in good size simple lawn garden - it is in the original churchyard with some gravestones - and because of its raised position at the head of the valley it has outstanding views of the surrounding countryside to the Preseli Hills. This is a fantastic location for exploring the wonderful West Pembrokeshire coastline and its beautiful beaches and coves – only 3.5 miles to the nearest beaches at Nolton Haven and Druidstone Haven for horse riding along the beach, and another few minutes to the charming fishing village of Little Haven and the dramatic expanses of Newgale famous for surfing and land yachting. Our favourites are Settlands beach which you can only reach at low tide from Little Haven (very Famous Five!), and 5 miles to the spectacular Marloes Sands (Guardian 'Searching for the Perfect Beach'). It is located adjacent to a working farm run by very neighbourly John brothers and within the tiny hamlet of Lambston just outside the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and in the countryside between Haverfordwest and the coast which are both 3.5 miles away.
  • High Haven is a beautiful, relaxing and stylish space. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and felt very at home. The living space is wonderful, and the kids particularly enjoyed their mezzanine bedrooms/play areas where they could have their own space but still feel connected to us. Bathrooms and kitchens are high spec and well equipped. Bedrooms are very small but we found them to be snug, especially during Storm Dennis when we could hear the wind and rain lashing down on us! We had a private chef cook for us on our last night, Andrea from Chefs on the Run - highly recommended, delicious food in vast quantities and great value. The weather did not deter us from enjoying blustery beach walks at Broadhaven, Newgale and Nolton Haven, and a day out in St David's. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

    Victoria2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • High Haven is an absolutely wonderful conversion. Sympathetic, tasteful and practical. It was absolutely perfect for the three of us and the dog. We thoroughly enjoyed returning to the impressively improved chapel after days out walking. Well equipped and warm at all times. Perfect for a winters break with long walks on quiet beaches and the coastal path. Great communication and check in. Thanks all for a superb visit.

    Matt2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • The Chapel is absolutely beautiful. Location really handy for exploring Pembrokeshire. We had awful weather, but stayed lovely and cosy with the log burner on and played board games for hours. The cows are quite noisy, but got use to it after the first night.

  • It was wonderful, the church is a dream, also in terms of decor. The kitchen was well equipped, the cooking was as much fun as at home. We felt so comfortable that we enjoyed every hour there. Thank you, we'll be back!

  • Very comfortable stay and such a cool, historic place! The church has been restored beautifully and everything was great and as described in the listing. A large Tesco Extra is within a 2 minute drive. Within a 10 minute drive are the sandy beaches of Broad Haven and Little Haven, and access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

  • If you are looking for something in a given area then it's really worth staying here! The hosts are very kind and welcoming. The house exceeded our expectations for such a price! It is large, cozy and can easily accommodate 4 people, with a lot of space in front of the house for cars. I highly recommend!

  • We had a lovely week at Ty Venda. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to be comfortable. It’s located close to a lovely beach as well as on the edge of town so close to the amenities of town. It’s also ideally placed to get to all of the towns and resorts in the area. We would certainly recommend this house to people wanting to stay in the area and will look for availability if we decide to explore further in the area in future.

My home is close to the town centre in Haverfordwest, prefect base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast as central to everywhere. A bus stop is 1 minute away from the front door and train station a 10 minute walk A light spacious newly renovated home. A double bedroom with garden view comfy bed, large TV with Netflix & WIFI. Breakfast items are provided and full use of kitchen :) happy to share the whole house and garden with you. You can access the property any time day or night with key:)
Guests are welcome to use the whole house. Full use of kitchen and utensils, as well as a patio area with table and chairs and well maintained garden to enjoy and relax in.
Set in Haverfordwest a corner shop is 30 seconds away, local pub with good reasonably priced food is a 2 minute walk and Tesco 5 minute walk so plenty of resources to hand which a lot of Pembrokeshire can lack due to the remoteness.
  • My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights and it was one of our best AirBnB experiences. The host Chloe and her partner Matthew are very sweet and helpful. They also have a very cute dog Macy who we loved to hang out with! :D The bathroom and room were very clean and they also had a well stocked clean kitchen for our use. Highly recommend!

    Paola2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • The layout of the house is a great use of a small space and the kitchen/living room area was perfect for me and three friends to relax after long days walking in Pembrokeshire. It’s well located for exploring SW Wales. Kitchen has all the basics you need for self catering and the dishwasher was a bonus. We had a great stay and wouldn’t hestitate to recommend this house (I may well go back in the future myself!)

    Jess2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We've just had a fantastic time staying at Tony's house. As a family with young children we wanted to stay somewhere with easily accessible amenities but still be close to the family friendly attractions that Pembrokeshire has to offer. Haverfordwest is ideal for this. Plenty of shops and supermarkets on your doorstep and no further than a comfortable and enjoyable 30 minute drive to many fantastic activities and beaches. Folly Farm and the Tenby Dinosaur Park were particularly good days out. The house itself is clean, comfortable and well equipped for an enjoyable stay (it's probably the best Airbnb we've stayed at for provisions and facilities). Check-in was super easy and communication with Tony has been excellent. The area though very residential is quiet and there was never a problem parking when returning home after a day out. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Tony's for those wanting an easy and relaxing base while exploring beautiful Pembrokeshire and I would very much hope to stay again the next time we holiday in the area - we just didn't have time to get it all done! Thanks.

    Dom2019-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Our family loved this accommodation. It was exactly as described. Communication & check in was efficient & easy. The house was spotlessly clean, no dust at all. The kitchen was well laid out with space for our purchases. The shower worked well & there was lots of drawer space in the bedrooms. The beds were ok & one towel was provided per person. The location was ideal for us. Two minutes drive to M&S, Debenhams etc & Morrison’s, 5 minutes to Tesco Extra where you can squeeze your own fresh orange juice & collect pastries for breakfast. 15 minutes to Broad Haven (we thoroughly recommend the Sunshine Italian there for amazing sunset views & food - book ahead though!). About 30 minutes to our favourite beach at Saundersfoot. The same to Tenby - not to be missed. Folly Farm & Blue Lagoon were both loved by our children (5 & 2) & were less than 30 mins. A very central location for everything! Communication with Tony was very good throughout. There was a slight issue with plumbing during our visit but Tony quickly arranged for a plumber to visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accommodation to those who like a central location & aren’t expecting a scenic view.

Decorated in a modern floral decor which brings a homely Country Cottage feel. Ideally located to all amenities and all within walking distance i.e schools, shops, pubs, restaurants, Pembrokeshire College, Doctors Surgery and Withybush General hospital. I have three rooms available one of which accommodates two people in a twin room and the other two rooms accommodate one person in each single room.
My accommodation is within walking distance to the town centre. Whether you are in the area for business or simply sight seeing it is ideally located to explore the Pembrokeshire coastline. My accommodation is also ideal for students who wish to attend the Pembrokeshire College which is just a 5 minute walk.
Residential area with a corner shop , fish and chip shop , take away and Macdonalds all in walking distance . We have a lovely park with Play area , football field . And 5 mins walk away we have Pembrokeshire College . Also approx. 10 mins away I highly recommend The Glen Hotel for a lovely meal I often eat here .

Spring Gardens is close to the town centre. You’ll love my house because of the character of the building which has an interesting history. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped. I provide a private room with shared use of two bathrooms, kitchen, dining and living room.
The house is a listed building with a unique history.
The house is opposite The Mariners Hotel which is set back with lawned frontage and trees. Lidl is only 100m down the road and the town centre is easily within walking distance.
  • This is an extraordinary house with many layers of history. I used to love in Haverfordwest and often wondered about the rooms behind the wrought iron facade. So it was magical to finally stay and feel some of the history. The rooms are modernised and comfortable and sensitively retain the historic features. Hosts were super kind, chatty and helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

  • The house is very unique from the outside and elegant inside. Living space and kitchen are spacious and spotless, with every equipment and essentials (cereals, milk, etc.). Lucinda was very kind that she gave us a lift from the station. Our stay was perfect, nothing to complain about the house.

    Andrea2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very pleasant stay at 8a Spring Gardens. The House is lovely and comfortable. It is well equipped and we can use the shared kitchen to prepare meals and have breakfast. Coffee or tea, cereals, orange juice, milk and some fresh fruits were available for us in the morning and this was very much appreciated! It was easy to communicate with Lucinda and she was very helpful the day of our arrival.

    Marion2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Haverfordwest is a brilliant place to stay if you need a base to explore Pembrokeshire. 8a Spring Gardens was a great cost-effective option for us as we were trying to keep costs low. However, it does not feel at all cheap! Lucinda and Peter have done a brilliant job getting this historic house up and running. The spaces have been well thought out to provide relaxation and plenty of room to share with others. We saw quite a few different occupants come in and out over the time we were there and so it makes for a quite social option to stay in. However, if you want your private time, the bedrooms are equally lovely and easy to lock out the world! There is a lovely garden at the property and, although we were disappointed not to have use of the balcony, in the end were very happy to have a quiet space to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. (If you want to access the balcony, you will need to rent the 'luxury' room at the front of the house). Peter - Lucinda's husband - met us for check in and was very welcoming. He gave us the full tour - even letting us choose our room - and showed us the facilities. They provide milk and orange juice in the fridge; tea and cereal on the shelves; and a cupboard of ingredients left by previous occupants. Overall, a well stocked kitchen! Lucinda and Peter would pop in occasionally to change beds and were nice to chat to. They never arrived at an inappropriate time and were good with recommending places to go. We particularly enjoyed their recommendation for a place to go hill-walking. Their son does live in the adjoining building (number 8) that they are still working on, but never interrupted, nor were we ever inconvenienced by the fact they're still working on the second property. The house is a real gem in an ideal location and a complete steal for the price you pay! Would definitely recommend it!

Their place is accurately presented on airbnb, is very convenient for the town centre and therefore for shopping, eating & sightseeing; only a 5 minute walk. They are both easy to communicate with, very friendly & hospitable but also respectful of privacy. Got the balance just right. Finally...very good value for money. Recommended!

This traditional fisherman's cottage in the heart of Llangwm, is the perfect base to explore all that the South Pembrokeshire National Park has to offer. Perfect for couples, small families or friends, this pet friendly cottage is in an excellent location to enjoy the lovely sleepy village of Llangwm.
This cottage offers charm, style and original features that include a large inglenook fireplace where the mornings catch would have been originally smoked and sent to market. Tastefully furnished to reflect the character of the cottage, each of the rooms are informal and relaxed, combining comfort and style in equal measures. Overlooking the small village green, the beautiful 13th Century parish church and the rolling pastures beyond, village life is just on your doorstep, including the Cottage Inn pub and village store. Explore further along the 'secret waterways' of the Cleddau Estuary and the many footpaths that surround this beautiful peaceful corner of Pembrokeshire. The small beautiful double bedroom, in the painted cottage eaves, is wonderfully romantic, with soft tones and floral wall covering. Opposite there is a small single bedroom ideal for a friend or child. Downstairs the lounge and diner have been thoughtfully renovated, exposing traditional detailing, highlighting the cottage's modest past, while the compact modern kitchen compliments the country style, with everything you could possibly need.
The small garden with planted borders is perfect for both dining alfresco and as a safe place for little ones to play. There is also a secure shed where you can store bicycles and body boards. In front of the cottage are two private parking spaces. However, if you want to leave the car behind, the local bus stops directly outside your front door.
  • I needed somewhere to stay in Pembrokeshire close to family. The space was perfect for me and my partner over a long weekend for NYE. The house is small but has everything you could need and more! Would definitely stay again.

A quaint, traditional 17th Century cottage, situated near the heart of Haverfordwest, which is found in the beautiful county town of Pembrokeshire.
The area is steeped in culture and history and Haverfordwest castle, which was built about 1120, is located just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage. The local town is also located very near to the cottage (a five minute walk away) and the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline is on the doorstep. The cottage itself maintains many of its original features, such as high wooden beams in the bedroom, solid stone walls throughout and a combination of stone and wooden flooring, making it is cosy and welcoming. Also, despite maintaining its traditional appeal, the cottage boasts many modern appliances, such as a fully equipped, modern kitchen, downstairs shower-room with washing and drying facilities and many other perks, to help make guests’ stay comfortable and memorable. Although this booking primarily indicates weekend bookings only, exceptions can be made. If additional days are required, please contact the host.
Haverfordwest is the attractive and ancient county town of Pembrokeshire. As well as being the county's administrative centre, Haverfordwest has a great variety of shops in the town and the outlying retail parks. The centre of Haverfordwest is within a short walk and has the Western Cleddau runnning through the middle of the town. Food and Drink There are plenty of pubs, cafés and restaurants found in the town as well as delis. The award winning Haverfordwest Farmers Market is held on the riverside every Friday. Produce includes fresh fish, crabs & lobster, organic meat and vegetables, artisan cheeses and traditional-recipe cakes.
  • We had a fabulous time and really appreciated the homely feel of the cottage and Nick's attention to detail for first impressions, thank you. A couple of observations: 1. Parking - clearly an issue, however, would suggest people park in Castle Park at the base of the Castle steps (£1.50 for 24 hours). Occasionally, we parked in a permit bay, but only when there was heavy rain or passenger convenience. 3. Mattresses were uncomfortable, perhaps rotate, flip each week or replace annually? 4. Chest of Drawers in Main Bedroom - middle draw kept sliding open, so I elevated the front of the drawers, which prevented the issue from occurring. 5. Robes - suggest two robes be available 6. Pillows - comfortable pillows Overall: Thoroughly enjoyed the look and feeling of warmth of the property and Nick's great use of space, setup really well. My family members really enjoyed the social side together coming in from Bristol, Milford and Fishguard. I would highly recommend this location should you wish to visit Haverfordwest. Nick was very attentive to all my questions. Great Host. Thank you, Nick, again for your communications.

  • Nicholas has a beautiful home with some wonderful touches that make you feel like it’s your home your staying in! The 2 bathrooms are such a great addition to your stay when traveling with more than 2 people! His well stocked kitchen made cooking at home a breeze, having all the right tools on hand! The master bedroom is exquisite with the loft! You’ve gotta check out the Indian Resturant across the street from the Police station, their service and hospitality were amazing especially when they offered to drive us home!

    Cheryl2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • A very nice terraced cottage in the unremarkable town of Haversford West. Nicely furnished and also reasonably well equipped for cooking. Getting out the Pembroke coastline from here was straightforward enough. The galleried master bedroom would also suit a younger child sleeping up in the gallery space. Beds were very comfortable. Note that a shower/ wet room is on the ground floor, but there is no shower in the main bathroom. All in all great value, and a very pleasant stay. Nick the host was great on follow through with questions and offers of help.

    Matthew2019-09-15T00:00:00Z

    Carl2019-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • What a special little spot. The views from this cottage are just magical. The house has everything you'd ever need and was cosy and warm, with the help of the electric heaters provided. We'll definitely be back, even in January. If in the area, try Mrs Will the Fish in Solva, she does a splendid lobster and crab platter to take away. Many thanks, Tom and Tanya.

  • We loved our stay here. The cottage has stunning views and the whole area is beautiful and quiet - the perfect escape. We enjoyed walking bits of the costal path and the getting back to watch the sun set. Great communication and welcome from David. The cottage is well equipped

  • Everything about Gwyneth's pace is as described - central to Pembrokeshire, cosy and Gwyneth is a delightful host.

    Bill2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Gwyneth is a fabulous host. She has a gift of making you feel welcomed, and is so very helpful with local information as to where to go. Which I used to my advantage and had a wonderful time exploring the area! I definitely would recommend staying here. She is on the outer edge of town which makes it easy to go places, plus it is very quiet and peaceful. Just what the doctor ordered for R & R.

  • The most wonderfully hospitable host. A really lovely home to stay in with someone who can give you great tips about how best to spend your time in Pembrokeshire. So welcoming, friendly and warm - goes above and beyond to help you have a great stay.

  • Gwyneth was a great host, making us feel at ease from the outset. She chatted with us as if we had known her for years. Everything was as expected, the location suited us really well for a night out. We enjoyed the cereal and tea in the morning. Shower was lovely and hot. Parked the car directly outside. The house and area was peaceful. This was just what we needed for our visit. We would certainly recommend Gwyneth’s house.

    Del2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Gwyneth exceeded our expectations. Not only is she very kind and friendly person but she absolutely made sure we were provided with lots of local tips for bad and good weather and even supplied us with few homemade scones and pastries. We have learned quite a lot about local people, their habits and culture. Her place is sparkling clean and the bedroom was comfortable, spacious, warm and as dark as can be at night... I would highly recommend her place to anyone visiting Pembrokeshire. The location is easy to find, parking is always available and all parts of the coastal national park are accessible by car within 30-45 min drive.

    Michal2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • A really kind and thoughtful stay, staying with Gwyneth made travelling to different areas of the Pembrokeshire coast very easy, and was a real haven to come back to at the end of the day.

  • Josh's place was great. Lot's of room & a beautiful location. We didn't get to meet Josh but everything was clear & swiftly handled. The place was clean and had a great, equipped kitchen.

  • A great cottage set just up from the beach. Nice coastal walks either side and pub right out front! Comfy house with pretty much everything you need.

    Dave2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! We loved the setting, the view of the haven and bay, and the privacy. Guillemot is well-equipped, quiet, private and very comfortable. The help 24 hours on hand was reassuring and very friendly. We took our dog, who loved it! Being January, the Brasseries was closed, but the Mariners was open for drinks, and other pubs/restaurants around were open, and we got a Tesco delivery on arrival, which was really helpful. Beautiful beach, slightly scary cliff path (I have vertigo) but all-in-all we'll definitely be back!

    Richard2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location for getting away from it all and exploring the sensational Pembrokeshire coast. Quality accommodation, spotlessly clean with good amenities.

    Paul2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Well equipped house in a great location. Hosts on site if needed. Will definitely visit again!

    Sarah2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastic little cottage in an incredible location. We loved our stay here, and are already planning weeks to come back next year. Although the cottage is beautiful, the welcome is warm, and the views incredible, make sure to bring your own tea/coffee so you can relax after the long drive to get there. Also would have been nice to have hand soap in the bathrooms and more than half a roll of toilet paper in both bathrooms - or for this to be stated in the listing. But these are little touches that didn’t ruin our stay in the slightest. We’ll definitely be back!!

    Max2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Had a lovely weekend stay here. The scenery is beautiful, so close to the beach. Which is clean and great for walks and searching for shells. The cottage was clean and had everything you need while away from home. We would highly recommend a stay here.

    Eira2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely cottage in a small terrace of 4, owners on hand in the office, everything you could want is provided and spotlessly clean, wonderful shower and heating system which we needed for our stay 1st week in October great base for Solva, Broad Haven Haverfordwest, Little Haven and of course Nolton Haven is a lovely sheltered sandy beach and the cottage has wonderful views of the sea. The local stable did horse riding on the beach and people were surfing, swimming and kayaking. Some wonderful walks for the dog. A local place to eat was the cafe in Hilton Gardens which did lovely soup and sandwiches, great for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea we also went round the gardens which are lovely but you don't have to pay to just use the cafe a real gem, oh and the dog was allowed in too! A lovely place to stay anytime of the year. Much nicer than the usual dog welcome cottages as you felt the dog was definitely welcome and accommodated rather than being second class guests. well done Jim. Josh and family
