Tessa is very welcoming, the charm of the place is true to the pictures on the website. The +: Tessa's advice for places to explore possible to avoid mistakes in the choice of restaurants, among others! We loved (especially daughters) there and the little touches of Tessa (water, fruit etc ...) and discover this city - The area is perfect to meet in London deviating somewhat very attractions but join the Regent's Park by walking under the sun delighted us!

We spent 3 nights at Tessa's palace, we really felt at home and she was very helpful and kind in every way. We managed to explore a bit London, she gave us great tips for lunch and breakfast and other activities around the city...we hope to come back very soon again!

I did a Photo shoot at Tessa's for the day. From the moment I met Tessa to the moment I left, I had a very pleasant experience. Tessa is a very kind, friendly, warm, and hospitable lady. She made me and my photographer feel very welcome and made sure we were comfortable, and provided the basics I needed and more. She offered full use of her home, and no space was out of bound including her own bedroom! She gave me the space I needed and was encouraging and supportive. Tessa's home is certainly an artist home with lots of character and beauty. Her neighbourhood is very pretty, quiet, and has a sense of a close knit community. The neighbours were not intrusive, even when I had to shoot some photos outside in very close proximity of their homes. I think one cannot really express in writing what a nice experience it is to stay at Tessa's. You have to stay there to truly appreciate it. I will definitely recommend Tessa's place to friends, and will be keeping in touch with Tessa. I have no doubt I'll stay there again in the future. Thank you very much Tessa for a wonderful day!

Tessa was fantastic. We had trouble getting in from our flight and Tessa stayed up late and even went as far as to come looking for us when we were trying to find her place at nearly one o'clock in the morning. She is incredibly kind, helpful, and outgoing and definitely made us feel so welcome in her wonderfully eclectic flat in good ol' Camden.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Tessa's beautiful home. It was sumptuous and comfortable, and Tessa is the most graceful host: I was made to feel most welcome and in want of nothing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tessa's wonderful charming apartment. A place with a lot of character in a nice, lively part of town with good connections to the rest of London. Tessa made us feel very welcome and had some great tips for quickly getting our bearings and making us feel at home: wonderful walk along canal to Primrose Hill at dusk, the Camden Food Market experience, a very niche close by breakfast place, ... and more. A great place with a strong "home feeling" - wonderful to come back to after a day exploring London with a cup of tea from the adjacent kitchen. Although on a road with traffic, we did not find that disturbing at all and slept like a log on the comfortable bed .. even without the earplugs kindly provided! The room is excellent for two, but if necessary fits three, which was great in our case with our nine year old daughter joining us. Although sharing the apartment with Tessa herself, we hardly noticed that she was there, although she was only a note on the kitchen table away in case we needed something. The bathroom upstairs fits the rest of the apartment. The standing shower in the bathtub with a shower curtain (of course with a fitting sea-shell motive) may feel a bit tight, but it is completely in style and more importantly gives a lot of lovely warm / hot water. If you appreciate character (over maybe pure functional design) we warmly recommend Tessa's place to you. It will be an unforgettable and wonderful experience. Rex, Maria and Sarah

Very nice flat in a beautiful neighbourhood. I would recommend this place for everybody wishing to visit London from a very convenient location. Perfect connection to London Heathrow. The situation of the house is perfect to discover London. Vicky gave us advice to enjoy our trip. She was discrete and let us the place needed. Our stay with Vicky in London was our first airbnb-experience and we were totally pleased :-). We felt very welcome and Vicky was a great host. The room and the house were very sweet and are like the photos show. We slept very well in our cozy room and even had a bathroom solely for us ! Vicky was very nice to us, even though we were not able to see her much since she was busy and we were not at the house most of the time. Maybe we can make up for that next time ;-).

Vicky is incredibly warm and generous and an immediate new friend. Her flat is light and airy, the bathroom is beautiful and the bed is comfortable. The location is close to the Baron's Court Tube Station so it is convenient on top of everything else. Highly recommended!

Vicky's place is great and she is a wonderful, easy-going host. She is always helpful giving advices where to go etc. Her home has everything you need. It is a classy place in a quite surrounding. The underground station is only a short walk away and there are also some smaller shops for the everyday needs. The clock tower was an absolute delight. The views are amazing and Peter was very easy to work with. What a treat.

The location of Peter's place was very convenient for our purposes, with easy access to everywhere in London we wanted to go. 24/7 access via the building concierge made for easy flexibility in arrival and departure. The accommodations were clean and spacious. If Peter was not present, he was always immediately available by phone. We would stay again if the occasion presented itself.

The main selling point here is the fantastic location.  It was great to be able to walk straight off Eurostar and take up residence in the clock tower of an iconic London landmark.  The room is well equipped with a comfortable bed, a good quality bathroom and plenty of storage.  It is quite spacious and perfectly adequate for two people for a long weekend or longer stay.  The larger flat is regularly used for pop up restaurants and events so be aware that there might be general comings and goings and the noises associated with this. Although they do not go on too late and in no way spoiled our stay.  Peter, the owner, was helpful and welcoming but unobtrusive.  Worth booking just to be able to point at the tower and say you stayed there. 

Peter is an excellent and welcoming host, good communication in the lead up to our stay and genuinely interested in us and our stay when we arrived. The guest apartment is accessed through the main house but then is completely private once you are inside - it was much more spacious than I was expecting; for this price and location you would struggle to find anything even close to comparable in a hotel. It is well kitted out with everything you might need for a short (or in fact long!) stay. This place is particularly handy if you are going onto Paris on the Eurostar as you just hop out of bed and onto the train. A great place, with a friendly host, in a great location and all with the added bonus of being in a fascinating and historic building.

This is a spectacular apartment in a beautifully converted heritage building, it is really very special. Peter was very flexible about meeting my schedule in terms of keys and luggage, and invited me to a beautiful dinner party in the flat. The location is perfect in terms of amenities, with shops and groceries in the connected terminal, and connections to transport within central London and beyond. Beautiful views of the city from the apartment.

Absolutely wonderful flat, I credibly creative with the use of space and lighting. We had an amazing time staying at Alice's, she was ki d enough to let us check in early and out late, accommodated us when we needed it most. She also left us a great little guide for london as it was our first time there and we loved all her suggestions! Would definitely go back again and I highly recommend !

Alice made me feel very welcome. The flat and the room were clean and tidy and the bath was particularly good after a day's energetic dancing! The area was quiet despite being an inner-city location. It's a really great place for a single person wanting to stay south of the river or who doesn't mind a few minutes walk to reach the tube or bus routes which then give quick access to the West End and the main tourist areas north of the Thames.

Alice is a charming and attentive host and I found everything in her home just as she described it. Alice was in the middle of a major redecorating and improvement project which I fully expected as she had warned me beforehand. Everything was, however, spotlessly clean and at no time did I have to hop over paint cans or wear a mask because of dust or fumes! My room was cosy, the bed comfortable and the bathroom "just right". I was attending a weekend training in Regents Park and proximity to frequent bus and tube services helped simplify travel. Great apartment in a lovely part of London. Room was very big and comfy with great bathroom, living room, and lovely patio. Neighborhood was close enough to walk to the sights while far enough removed to feel like you're in a real neighborhood. Alice was also a lovely host, always easy to talk to and willing to offer some great advice for getting around the city. She was able to guide me to an obscure airport at an early hour as easily as possible. Definitely recommend!

The house is very nice, located in a nice neighborhood typically English. It is about 15 minutes walk from the subway station and train Elephant & Castle. The path between the station and the house is done well, it is of a multi-cultural area and quite busy. Alice, the owner always reply to messages, and provided a kind of guide to some restaurants and area supermarkets. The house was clean and tidy. The owner needs to improve the way of communication with the guests (hospitality). Try to let people as if they were in their own home, however a bit of dialogue would be important for people to feel better in a city and country than their own.

My husband and I spent a few days here and were very pleased. The room and bathroom were very spacious. The rooms are very close to public transport and the shops, cafes and pubs have very friendly staff. My only concern were the steep steps up to our room. If you are elderly or have heavy cases it could be difficult to take them to and from your room.

We had a great stay at the house! It was pleasant and cozy and the accommodations were wonderful. The train (tube) station was so close and a convenient walk away. I would definitely stay here again! Such a beautiful room and house!

The Master Bedroom and en-suite are both huge and light filled rooms - very clean and comfortable with good linen. The house is well described on the listing - we did not use the kitchen facilities but they looked to be good. The neighbourhood was residential and quiet, but close enough to the main road and amenities to be practical for a short stay and just a few minutes walk from the tube. Very good communication and excellent info pack supplied on the facilities and area.

I felt very relaxed and welcomed at The Muse Haus I and I must say it was not only accurate as the pictures but even better than the pictures. The self check-in service makes the experience even better at the same time remains private. The instructions in my email were very straight forward in regards to all the hose rules etc. Finally, the room was spotless! I will be visiting the Muse Haus again for certain.

We really enjoyed staying at Renée place - underground station is near to her home, so we had no problem travelling from Harrow to London. Neighborhood is very quiet and seem very safe. Renée is an amazing host. Her home sits in a beautiful part of Harrow-on-the-Hill. Very short walk from the Tube station. There are several good food places right near by. If you're flying in through Heathrow her home is a single bus ride away. The room is very comfortable, the amenities include a TV, tea kettle and cups, nice shelving for clothing. I will definitely stay with here again on my next visit. She loves to sit and chat, or if you prefer it can be more of a hotel experience. She has some interesting stories.

We were warmly greeted by the lovely hostess and her little dog. The room corresponded to 100% of the descriptions and photos. The house and the rooms are not the newest, but everything was very clean, fresh and comfortable. The room was for breakfast a bit small, but there was everything we needed. In the kitchen stood us a separate refrigerator. From the airport one comes with one change is 50 minutes away by bus directly to the house. In 5 Mininuten you are right in the path which goes to the center of London in 30 minutes. All in all we are very satisfied and could also thanks to its three very nice days in London experience. Renée offers a fascinating, comfortable guest experience that is wonderfully unique. Even Spartakus (the dog, but he's family) is loaded with character, but he's as sweet as he is feisty. Harrow-on-the-Hill is tranquil but not boring. It's well-located for easy access to central London and surroundings. Walks are rewarded with a wide variety of scenery and interesting residents. Highly recommended place to stay, I've stayed twice and have booked again, nice quiet area, close to Harrow town centre and Harrow on the Hill tube.

All we want say is “Two Thumbs Up!!" 1) Maria is very warm and friendly and helpful. 2) The room is very clean and comfortable. We could even "smell" the freshness of the all bedding stuff. 3) The location is actually very convenient, although it's a little bit far from the central London. It's only about 5 minutes to a subway station where you can connecting to Central London and other areas. There are fast food, supermarkets, coffee shop and even a drug store all within 10 minutes walking distance. 4) Every morning, we had a very nice chat with Maria while she making breakfast for us. We really had "the feeling of home". This place is highly recommended. We hope the place will be available when we are returning to London couple weeks later.

This was the second time me and my wife were privileged to stay in Maria's beautiful house. As we have gone twice, the resons has to be the warmth and hospitality which we got was truly personal. Other than that, as mentioned in my previous reviews, it is so clean, well appointed, and has everything you need. Maria is beyond a doubt the perfect host! I think this is the "real" AirBnB experience. Maria was an extremely good host who went out of her way to make sure that we felt at home. She invited us for coffee/tea when we arrived there. She also made us a breakfast in the following morning. All in all, Maria made us feel so welcome in her home and she was kind and accommodating at all times. We were very pleased with our choice to stay at Maria's. The room interiors are clean and lovely. The bathroom also impeccably clean. The location is highly accessible, less than 5 minute walk from the tube station (South Harrow). You can also find a lot of grocery shops, restaurants, ATMs, not far from there. It takes about 45 minutes by tube to get to the Central London (however, you can also take Metropolitan line from Rayners Lane which is obviously faster than the Piccadilly line). The only thing that I regret was that we stayed there for only one night. I wish we could stay for a couple days more and had thoughtful breakfast talk with her. Indeed, I would definitely recommend this as an excellent choice for a trip to London.

We had a great stay with Maria in her little house. She is a nice lady who is extremely much trouble that you feel comfortable with her. The double bed is not particularly long. For us, this was not a problem, but with very tall people could be one. A special service at Maria's breakfast, which they prepared a each morning. Also it is a good conversationalist and tipsters. The location of the house is very quiet, the subway still just a few minutes. By train you have however been a while driving until you are in central London. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Maria very, would not hesitate to come back and would recommend it in good conscience.

Marie was a lovely host, starting with a relaxed conversation concerning the several changes of my arriving time. The room as well as the bathroom is very big and has everything you need, even an adapter for my german plug. I had a nice cup of tea and a nice chat with Marie who recommended some indian restaurants that are nearby. I strongly recommend Maries house as a wonderful place to stay, wether you want to get in touch with your host or - like me - want to have a quiet and relaxed break before departing back to Germany.

Staying here was amazing, we arrived with a warm welcome and she introduced us to her wonderful family. The rooms are very comfortable and the entire house was immaculate, we had our own separate bathroom that was huge and very nice as well. The house isn't very far from Rayners Lane station which is only a 10 minute walk and also have 2 main tube lines running through it so its not very long to get to into London and surroundings. Marie's family were great and very friendly which made the trip and stay more enjoyable. Overall we had no problems at all, I wish I had more time here. Thank you so much Maire and your family.

Andrew's place is conveniently located on the Hill amongst the Harrow School boarding houses. If you are a Harrow parent then this place is ideally situated for visiting your son. The property is part of the Battels Cafe which proprietor Sandra has turned into a gallery with live artists and wonderful crepes and teas. You can sit outside and enjoy the scenery and watch the boys go to and from classes to their house especially ideal if you wish to surprise your son! Sandra is a consummate host and will make you feel welcome and look forward to she and her son receiving Airbnb Superhost status!

Great place to stay, location and security is great and the flat is perfect for short stays away from home, easy to get into the city with great parking facilities, communication was great and I was even welcomed very late at night by a lovely friendly helpful lady.

Although We never actually made it to Margarets place in London, the correspondence with her was amazing. My partner came down Ill just before we were due to fly out, so we sadly missed our stay. However, Maggie was so helpful with us when trying to figure out the best way to get form the airport to her place. She sent me detailed instructions and schedules of the public transport, a phone number for a local car company and the best routes to take. We were going to be arriving very late and she went out of her way to help us sort everything out. When we had to cancel, she was very understanding and gave us no trouble at all. I'm just sad we didn't actually have the chance to stay with her, I'm sure it would have been a lovely trip! Thanks Maggie for all your help!! xx

Margaret's place is very well located, walking distance from the tube station. She has a very beautiful and clean house and the room is well equipped with all the basic amenities and notes of all the details you would need. I loved the London tube duvet cover which gave a good feeling. She is a lovely host who is very considerate and it was very kind of her to make us breakfast even when we woke up really late. I would love to go back and stay with her.

This was our first Airbnb experience, and we were very disappointed not to be given the executive suite that we booked. The room we were allocated was a sub-standard garage conversion and had we been greeted and checked in properly we would have been able to express our disappointment in person and perhaps resolve this more quickly. Instead we had to spend a significant amount of time texting and speaking to the host's representative instead of enjoying our stay.

Good communication with the host and the room was as described. The location was excellent for us as we were attending a function at the nearby premier function room.
