An overnight stay in the tiny house of the wonderful hostess Charlotte. A whole experience in a house where everything has been thought of, where everything is present and super clean. Highly recommended in a beautiful, quiet area.

Photos depict the house well. It was 20-25 minutes by bike from Zutphen station. Within walking and cycling distance of the More museum. There are great opportunities for a nice walk in the woods. Or, just enjoy this comfortable house in a great location with a beautiful garden! Also suitable for children.

We stayed here over Christmas, close to family living in the village. It is a wonderfully quite and cosy place to stay, really enjoyed it, and the kids too!

Particularly nice place among the trees and warm atmosphere. Very pleasant fast communication and lovely helpful hostess. We received many tips and felt very welcome. Really no points for improvement, so many surprisingly nice details. Such as heat socks with a message;) Christmas lights in the house and the garden, nice tea and coffee, spotlessly clean incl delicious Rituals products in the shower. In short, luxurious yet a very homely warm feeling. Love from Amsterdam! And Charlotte thank you very much :)

Beautiful fairy-tale house surrounded by nature. Lovely to look outside at the heater, away from the crowds. The holiday in the straw hood was far too soon, so we would like to come back!

A house to fall in love with because of its location in the green, the nice windows, the wooden floor and the wide view. The small, cozy living room with a low ceiling is heated in no time. Everything is there for cooking. Counter top is extremely low (so that became training leg muscles while cooking). There are two excellent single beds with excellent mattress. We did not get out in the area. There are also many possible routes for cyclists. There are some other houses in the area, but you have plenty of privacy.

Het Strokapje is a wonderful place to stay, in total tranquility. Even with less weather (as I have now experienced), you are sitting here warm and cozy, and you can see the hares, blue tits and robins pass through the window. The cottage is small but fully equipped, including a tick pincer (very thoughtful). I really like to come here.

Perhaps the most beautiful holiday home we have ever stayed in, balm for the romantic soul. Beautiful walking environment and lots to see in the area. The communication went very well.

A more than wonderful place to put all your worries into perspective, to relax and, after a few days here, to go on with good cheer. A very nice area where it is nice to cycle. But the place itself was enough for us. Almost a shame to leave him.

We spent the Easter weekend of 2019 at Gert. The communication before ran smoothly, at the appointed time we were already expected and received a warm welcome. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures and was absolutely clean. We were supplied with fresh eggs from the chickens every morning and felt very well and welcome otherwise. Thank you for a great weekend!

Arya responds quickly to possibly. ask. The accommodation is also ideal for small children. We could use the pram, crib, high chair, etc. Arya & Henk are very hospitable. We are welcomed with a cold drink and our little man with an ice cream. There were still some cold drinks in the fridge. They also provided us with tips for the area. They also had a children's pool ready for their warmth in their lovely garden / beautiful piece of land, which was great for our little man. The stay is fully equipped to prepare meals and you have more than enough privacy. Thanks for the nice stay Henk & Arya!

Nice view over the fields. Seen the barn owls every evening and plenty to experience with our little toddler in the area. Soon there will also be 2 piglets! We enjoyed it immensely.

An attractive house in a beautiful location. The welcome was very warm and when desired, the host and wife are ready for you. Nice that there is also a lot of information about the possibilities in the area. Recommended!

It is a wonderfully comfortable house, nice and spacious bed and good facilities. The space around the house gives plenty of opportunity to enjoy the tranquility, nature, and the many species of birds that fly there. In addition, the area is beautiful and has ample walking and cycling opportunities. A visit to Ruurlo castle and More museum in Gorssel is recommended To top it all off, Arya and Henk are incredibly nice nice hospitable people (always in for a chat but giving you complete privacy), there was a bottle of wine ready and a bag of nuts and because it was very hot there were also 2 bottles beer cold, very thoughtful, we also had an aperitif together once in the garden and talked and laughed. For us it was all very pleasant and worth a follow-up visit!

A very cozy hut with all modern conveniences in the lovely village of Almen with a very nice environment for a walk or bike ride. Marian was very welcoming and we really got away from it all!

A very comfortable, pleasant studio. All facilities available. Slept wonderfully in the large bed. A nice, quiet place, ideal for a retreat and long walks in the area.

Nice atmospheric room with everything you need. A nice shower, you can make coffee in the morning and in the afternoon I read a book in the garden. The bed is great with nice bedding. It was a bit hard for me, but I also like a soft bed.

We went on a short fishing vacation. The location of the property was perfect, it was 10 minutes by car to Zutphen. Apartment is in an annex. Absolutely sufficient for the purpose.

Jeroen's farm in Eefde is the perfect base for a weekend or week in nature. Jeroen is hospitable and communicates quickly. The farm is clean and nicely decorated. With the forest, a few lakes and the beautiful Hanseatic city of Zutphen within cycling distance, this is the perfect base for a nice weekend (or week) away. We enjoyed it immensely!

Our stay with Jeroen was a beautiful authentic farmhouse. Wonderfully quiet, rural view and pleasant place. Certainly suitable for 2 people. A wonderfully clean place to stay. Highly recommended!

We came with our 1 year old son and felt right from the first moment in the apartment. From every window you could look at wide meadows or animals. From the first moment we could fully relax and switch off. The equipment was very complete. Of course you always had to drive a bit to reach something, but that was known to us. We would go back anytime if we spontaneously need a break :)

It was a very nice stay at De Bolle. The kids had a lot of fun with the animals, the apartment especially the beds are super comfortable and the area around the house offers loads of opportunities for outside activities or just for enjoying the view out of the window. Henrie and Wiileke are super nice and mindful hosts.

It's a beautiful cottage in the middle of the country. It's super clean, comfy beds and lots of thoughtful touches by the owners. Henrie and Willeke are very nice and welcoming. The animals on the farm were a great hit with the kids and they loved being stroked - goats, shetland ponies and chickens. There was also a pond with loads of frogs which the kids loved watching. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it. :)

Very nice garden house in a very nice, wild flower garden. Space is larger than you can see on the photos. Very nice bed, the most fantastic films on DVD, but even more nostalgic: a record player with a wonderful sound. Lp's from Miles Davis to Tchaikovsky. Hosts Mark and Vera make you very happy with a good breakfast (eggs of your own), but also with a nice conversation. Very child friendly, with two small children excellent housing. We would like to come back again near the beautiful Zutphen and Deventer !!

We were warmly welcomed and after the explanation about the house we got some goodies to drink. Cottage was nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. We had a wedding in the evening and were brought and brought by Mark, what a great service that was! Enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the attractive garden in the morning. A wonderfully large and attractive house, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful living room with fireplace, the beautiful outdoor terrace and the beautiful forests nearby!

Superb location, in the middle of the beautiful nature. We even met two deer at 5 meters from the house! The house itself is very basic, but has all the necessary facilities. And as said: the location makes up for everything. Also ideally located for excursions to the Veluwe, Zutphen, Deventer, Apeldoorn, ... But even in the immediate vicinity you will find real gems for cycling or walking! Recommended!

What a fantastic place! The photos certainly do not do justice to the place, it is much better !! Rita had made a delicious breakfast for us every morning, hot sandwiches, fresh orange juice, and so on. And then the natural pool outside, beautiful! Certainly cold in the winter, but after some encouragement we decided to go for it, delicious !! Without a doubt an absolute must. We hope to be back soon!

The cottage at Rita is located on the outskirts of Bathmen on the side of Deventer (where you by the bus in about 20 minutes in the center). You can relax in a very stylishly furnished house in a quiet location between meadows. The contact with Rita is cozy and warm and she gives you a lot of privacy. The breakfast which is hung on the door every morning is delicious. We enjoyed!

A very nice stay in the Pipowagen! Cozy and completely cared for. It is a quiet place, you can hear the horses but that didn't bother me at all. The area is beautiful, cycled a lot and walked. Three nights was too short for me, I could have fun there for 2 weeks. Zuzan is great!

Suzan's little sweet cockroach, which she has built herself, has everything for a small holiday for 2 people (couple or parent with child). It is well equipped with electricity, running water, TV and a microwave. It is ideal for people who feel comfortable on a farm, like animals (horses) and like to spend time in nature. Suzan is always very friendly and helpful, which made dealing with her very easy. We had a nice, relaxed time !!! Susanne and Frederik (5 years)

Staying overnight in the pipowagen is highly recommended, beautiful surroundings, surrounded by horses and the hostess ensures that you lack nothing. There was more present than we expected. Had a great time

Staying in the former room of the headmaster of the school is a nice experience. Everything is fine and Don and Yanna are very hospitable. The old school is beautifully situated in a rural area where you can enjoy cycling and walking. Don and Yanna also provide an atmosphere of peace and relaxation with their other activities. You can feel that in the atmosphere that hangs in the house and also in the special garden where we could spend the evening. A special place if you are looking for peace and space. Certainly give it a try.

the farmhouse of Pien and Geert is a beautiful building in a beautiful garden in quiet Almen. the B & B space in the barn was sufficiently spacious for our family of 5. the bathroom is simple but neat and adequate. the garden and surroundings are beautiful, and breakfast is offered in the beautiful former farmhouse, which was beautifully restored by them. very nice area for walks and bike rides. nice outdoor swimming pool in the village. beautiful sailing on the Berkel, beautiful landscape gardens to visit in the neighborhood: the Wildenborch, the Wiersse. beautiful historic towns such as Zutphen are within easy reach. a place we would like to come back to! Very hospitable people, could use their bikes without any problem and got many great tips about the area. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully decorated and in the morning we were served a full breakfast by the host.

Beautyful little house in a nice surrounding. Very good Connection to the motorway and so to the bigger cities. A Supermarket is also not far. The noise of the motorway is always hearable, but never annoying. The house have enough place for six people. The Equipment is very good and includes everything you need. We enjoyed our stay in Elena's "Vakantiehuis". By the way, Elena is very kind and a good host !!

For nature lovers and people who appreciate a lot of privacy, this is the right place for you. It’s on a small river among some tall trees. You have a generous space outside to relax and walk around. There are 2 adults bikes and a smaller one. The house is clean. The kitchen is good with washing machine, drier, fridge and dishwasher. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs. Elina is a great host. Communication was food.

I booked this place due to a writing retreat of 5 days with other Ph.D. students coming up. For us this place was amazing since it offered a lot of space outdoors, the house was located directly to the river, from where you could (with the appropriate license) fish or row on a boat. You can also have long and beautiful walks or relax in the sauna for max 3-4 people. We (7 persons) were looking for a quiet, beautiful and cozy place to stay and we found that an more. Plus Elena is such a great, friendly and understanding hostess, one of the many reasons why we felt so good, at the cabin. If you are looking fo a luxus villa, probably a Hotel would be better for you, but if you are looking for a quiet cabin at the woods (and still minutes from the supermarkets by car), this is the ideal place! The little fairytale house in the nature, but at the same time nearby a busy road. We had a holiday of our time: kids were gone around the house, visiting ponnies nearby, watching the ducks in the canal.. we were outside all the time enjoying a private and beautiful garden, grilling. The house reminded me of my countryside: not fancy, but super cozy and it has everything you need! All the family had the coziest holiday at Elena’s house!

A cozy house with a beautiful location. You can walk a lot in the area. Gorssel is a nice village. Zutphen (beautiful town) is a 15-minute drive away. We have been welcomed. Everything in the house, including breakfast (with oranges for fresh orange juice) for the next day. We definitely recommend it.

Despite the bad weather, we had great days at Erve "t Schoolder. The panoramic view, the atmospheric accommodations, the good bed and especially the hospitality and cordiality of Marlene make you feel comfortable in this place. To put it simply, this place is a dream come true, both inside and out. The house is so lovely inside, incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, and modern with farmhouse charm. It felt like staying in a place you only see in magazine spreads from fancy places you wish you could travel to. Everything has been updated and done so with attention to detail. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’ll need, including a large selection of coffee (which was perfect for us) and there’s even a lovely little selection of children’s books. We were enchanted waking up to the sounds of chickens, the view of the farm, and horses right outside the window. But what was truly amazing was the picnic basket breakfast waiting outside our front door in the morning stocked with fresh oj, farm fresh eggs, a selection of fresh breads and spreads, and more. We sat as a family and ate with the biggest smiles on our faces. After breakfast we packed up and went to explore the surrounding property, which included greeting the cats and the magical horses. Our 5 year old jumped on the trampoline and climbed into the treehouse. We had the chance to talk for a while with Marlene and put a face to the wonderful hospitality. We only had the chance to stay for the evening, but we have already promised ourselves and Marlene that we would be back for a stay during the summer, because honestly, this is the sort of place you never want to leave.

The farm is in a great location! Beautiful views, birdsong and beautiful old fruit trees. Really a nice place to unwind! Marlene is very hospitable and is ready for you if needed. During our stay there were several small gifts at the door (daffodils in a vase, eggs). The interior of the farm is nice, the beds are great. The environment is also nice, we thought the hidden shopping streets in Deventer were a party. I can definitely recommend a stay at the Marlene farm!

beautiful farmhouse with a separate small farmhouse next door. Very tastefully and cosily furnished and with such a beautiful view, that immediately makes you quiet. The horses, chickens and the dog run around pleasantly. There were 4 fresh eggs in front of our door in the morning. We slept wonderfully on the comfortable beds and if you can look so far away from you in the morning, it really gives you a holiday feeling. There were also many beautiful books for the children who had a good read and our youngest was absorbed in the large container with Duplo! Eating out is great at Boode in Bathmen, nearby. Children can make their own dessert in the kitchen, so much fun. And the food for adults is really tasty! Benno and Marlene are very hospitable and communication is pleasant and fast. We will be back soon and will be doing a coaching session with Marlene with the horses because that seems very interesting to us.

What a nice place this is! We have completely unwind. It is super nice and stylishly furnished and we were very welcomed by Marlene and her family. We liked the view from the living room the best. You look straight at the meadows and in the summer there seems to be a well-filled flower field at your doorstep. The story about the 2 poplars, in which you can look into the distance in between, brings a part of the history of the home to life. We have a nice walk in the area and nice shopping in Deventer. We both did a horse coaching session with Marlene. What a special thing that is! We actually went there without expectations, but what a special thing came out of it! You tell about a question / care / problem that you have and because of the body language and reactions to it from one of her horses, Marlene can help you. She translates the behavior of the horse without judgment and thus stimulates you to think further about how to proceed with this. You talk out loud about what you think and feel and at the same time the horses respond. I thought that was almost magical. But because of Marlene's explanation of how horses work and feel like herd animals, it actually makes perfect sense. Incidentally, I got in without a specific question / care / problem, but it came up quite immediately and turned out to be something that I had been walking around unconsciously for a while. Marlene helps you to organize your thoughts about this in a relaxed, open and certainly not directional way and even to provide an answer (direction). And all through the horses. Really amazingly beautiful. That was actually an extra gift on what was already a nice stay. We will definitely come back!

Lily is a warm and wonderful host. I stayed during the very peaceful and quiet winter period but still encountered plenty of animals living around the neighbourhood. The room was clean and spacious and you will start every morning with a beautiful breakfast.

Very welcoming reception in attractive farmhouse. We had the upper floor to ourselves. Nice spacious room, nice bed and extensive delicious breakfast. Environment is beautiful for walking.

We spent our honeymoon weekend at Lily's and the experience was amazing. The rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated and a lot of effort is put in every detail. The breakfast was amazing (I think we spent one hour eating each morning!!) and Lily herself was super friendly and gave us the best tips on where to go, what to do and where to eat out. We highly recommend Lily's place and would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful weekend in the great house! We were received very warm and welcoming. The house is fully equipped. Nice and warm chocolate milk for the stove and sleeping in nice bedrooms with wonderful beds

Beautifully renovated location. Tastefully decorated. Eye for quality and luxury such as 2 ovens, 2 gas-burner plates, very spacious quality fridge, etc. Everything seems new. Spotless and very cared for. Hand towels, hand soaps etc. We had a great time.

We have held our annual family weekend here. We absolutely enjoyed the beautiful location, the perfect environment for the grandchildren who enjoyed playing with the go-kart and trampoline and enjoyed feeding the pigs. Hetty is very hospitable, loves the children and is ready for questions. Although there was only 1 beautiful sunny day, we also enjoyed the rest of the weekend, because there is plenty of living space with a super large modern kitchen. The beds were excellent and the bathroom top. Definitely a place to come back to.

We had great time at Hettys place. She has everything in place exacly as you should expect. And very convenient with small children.

The Muetstege is a wonderful place in a beautiful environment. It is nicely furnished, the beds are good and it is accessible for the disabled. In the huge kitchen you will find everything you need and more. Outside there are several terraces, there is always a place in the sun, shade or covered. Two cozy pigs that eat the leftovers and want to be quoted form an extra bonus. The site can be closed off so that the dog can walk free, there is more than enough parking space. There is also a bicycle and a tandem that we could use. The hostess lives in another house on the property and was always available for questions. The center of Lochem is about 4 km away, there are several supermarkets. Walking, cycling, swimming, canoeing, everything is possible within a radius of a few kilometers.

"We have had a few wonderful days in the beautiful Almen. The bed and breakfast is a hidden gem in the wild nature of Gelderland. From the bedstead you look directly into the fields after waking up.
