Enjoy country living. Guests have a private entrance to the upstairs apartment. We are close to Warm Springs, GA where Franklin D Roosevelt's Little White House welcomes visitors. Callaway Gardens has year-round activities such as Fantasy in Lights during Christmas, water skiing competitions, and golf courses. The Pine Mountain hiking trail is very convenient.
This comfortable space is furnished with an antique bed and blanket chest. You will stay warm under quilts handmade by the owner's grandmother.
This is the country. There are no neighbors, other than donkeys, close enough to see from the barn. There is an automatic gate and you will be provided with an opener and/or numeric code for entry.

Light airy 100 year old updated home in historic Pine Mountain. 1 mile from Callaway Gardens, 2 blocks to downtown antique shops, resturants, and gas station. Only about 3 miles to hiking trails in Roosevelt State Park. 15 miles to Warm Springs and Roosevelt's cottage. 35 Miles from Columbus and 70 from Atlanta Airport.
Light and airy cottage, 100 years old, but recently updated....while retaining its historic flavor. Original heart wood pine floors in all but kitchen and bath. Relatives of the original builder told me it was built by his field hands and is listed up at the Pine Mt./Chiply Historical Center.
Nice neighborhood in historic area, walking 2 blocks to downtown Antique Shops, Churches, Restaurants, History center. I am only 1 mile from Callaway Gardens Entrances. I have 3 bicycles for you to use, and a Kayak at the Gardens lake for one person to paddle. Ask me about this. Callaway Gardens is a wonderful place to bike, hike, play golf and relax at the beach. There are many trails with flowers in all seasons, Camilia's in Winter, Azaleas in Spring, and beautiful fall foliage. Many events are scheduled thru the year. Check their website. You must visit the Butterfly Center in any season. Nearby is a pool that is part of Roosevelt State Park for your use in summer. Roosevelt State park has 23 miles of hiking trails on the ridge. There is a hike to some waterfalls and big granite outcrops are on the trail through out the park. See where Roosevelt picniced at Dowells Knob a dramatic overlook of Pine Mt. Valley. At Warm Springs you can visit Roosevelts cottage and the Warm springs Insitute.
  • Great location if you are visiting The Fantasy in Lights Show at Callaway Gardens. Her pets are extremely friendly. The place is very comfy, bed was very comfortable, and Antonia is very warm and welcoming.

    Randy2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Antonia’s home is lovely and very tastefully decorated. Her dogs - Little Bit and Weatherbee are super sweet and loving. My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights and the timing couldn’t have been better. It made the stay perfect. A glass of cabernet on the front porch after horseback riding and zip lining really completed the day. Chatting with Antonia was pleasant. Lovely lady with a lovely, warm and inviting home.

  • I can't stress enough how great Sharon and her husband were during my stay. Fast communication. Peaceful and quiet place to stay. Lots of little touches just prove how great their southern hospitality is. You can't go wrong by staying here if you're in the area. I would definitely use them again in the future .

    Brandon2020-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nice, clean quaint place... Little bit out in the country, but i kinda expected that with he 16 acres note:). I prefer that sometimes over loud city areas... The room was very clean , nice large television, nice bath area with all you need... Plenty of parking Sharon did have to guide me into the property via phone... No big deal though...

    Brent2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice quiet place out in the country. Very clean and super cute decorations. Loved everything about it.

    Liznair2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment we made the reservation until we checked out Sharon was helpful, accommodating, & understanding. We had a tough time finding an affordable hotel near our son's JROTC event and I was fortunate enough to find Sharon's Peaceful Retreat. The price and location were perfect and she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. I truly appreciate everything she did to make our trip pleasant & worry-free! Looking forward to another stay in the future.

  • The place is great. Sharon is great to deal with !!!

    Josh2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our first time in Georgia was AMAZING thanks to Sharon, her husband and their sweet little dog. True Southern Hospitality!! We loved everything about the place and only wish we could have had more time to just relax and enjoy their little slice of Heaven. Sharon's place is just off the 85 and VERY welcoming. Before we got there, and while trying to find the place, Sharon was very communicative and attentive to her arriving guests. She helped us find it since it was dark when we made it from Atlanta airport. We had our own paved pad to park on and walk straight into our private entrance, which was very well lit and already unlocked waiting for us. Upon entering our room, we found everything was perfect and clean. The space is huge and has two single beds that we found very comfortable. There is a desk and chair for sitting and using the laptop we brought. On the desk is a lamp and a bowl full of snacks - mini candy bars, Emerald nuts, etc. Plenty of lamps in the room to illuminate, if needed. The large flat screen TV on the wall opposite the beds was unexpected, and GREAT! The room is appointed with a microwave, a small fridge, a Keurig, mugs, coffee K-cups, utensils and coffee condiments, an ice maker, and a binder with tips and information for our stay. The bathroom was perfect and had a lovely pedestal sink, shower, plenty of towels, washcloths, and toiletries. If we were staying long enough to need clothes washed, there is a stackable washer/dryer in the bathroom as well. We had EVERYTHING we needed! There wasn't enough time for us to really enjoy full use of everything Sharon's space had to offer, but while there she and her husband made my son and I feel at home and like family. On our first morning there, I was able to enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck by the outdoor fire pit with Sharon and Dean. This place was worth every penny and we can't wait to stay again.

    Michele2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very nice spot, out in the middle of nowhere, but still within easy driving distance of points of interest. Sharon was a very good host, there when needed. I will stay here again!

2 Cedars Film studio is a micro studio owned by Discovery Channel producer Ronnie White. Enjoy a gated, beautiful, peaceful, private, “woodsy” executive setting - just 40 miles west of Atlanta. The facility features lighted par three target golf greens (optional small fee) with a putting green. Campfire, pool table, kitchen, giant screen TV and more.
Overview (Precise Details Follow) You will drive through the tiny town of Grantville, the absolute start of the Walking Dead Franchise. The Famous "Away With You" wall is 1 mile from your executive Suite, tours by thousands of people from around the world each year. It is also the movie set for several episodes of the Dead, and also has a set from "Dumb and Dumber 2". DETAILED DISCRIPTION: About 2 Cedars and its Executive Suites 2 Cedars corporate film studios was originally designed by Ronnie White - a producer with the Discovery Channel - as a get away for those in major media operations, such as producers, writers, actors, etc. 2 Cedars is a working and popular micro-studio, a concept popular overseas whereas state of the art equipment is housed in a smaller setting. Many leading companies, such as 2 cedars, has led the way in bringing this concept to the USA. A Micro Studio has many benefits, preferably allowing clients to pay significantly less for their media work due to the lower overhead. As with many micro studios, they are upscale and nice; but 2 Cedars leads the way in that category as well. To drive in, albeit a dirt driveway, you have a gate to go through and then you feel a “camp retreat” vibe. A private, night lit, par 3 golf range is on your left while the studio and executive suite is on your right. Walk in, and you will see on of two settings. A pool room type of elite mans-cave setting, or, a full fledged studio with green screen and cameras everywhere. 2 Cedars Studios “flips” their studio area (executive suite remains the same and is extremely private to the guest) from one to the other depending on their film schedule. Our executive lodging is complete with a brand new room where our many guests from film, celebrity, theatre and US Business leaders stay during their time here. Its a simple, private, upscale room and bath with private exit to your vehicle or to the studio (‘common room’) where the studio, kitchen and pool table are located. The executive suite is complete with coffee and a ref ridge, as well as a washer and dryer, and modern bathroom. Ceilings are 10’ ceilings, complete with central a/c and heat. Guests can spend time on our atvs for an additional fee, and take semi-guided atvs trips throughout the dirt trails of Coweta County. Golf is free for guests, as well as the rifle range. Both are open until 9pm at night. No more than two Day Guests are allowed with our renters, and they are charged for their range balls on the golf course.
Our Facility is a bit isolated, but, at the same time it is accessible to I-85 within 2 minutes. 12 miles away is shopping galore in Newnan and close-by to there is Peachtree City and Lagrange. Loads of Antique shops are scattered throughout the area as well.
  • Absolutely the nicest people, we had such a great time. The amenities were amazing. We had so much fun and Ron was such a gracious host.

  • This is our second time staying at this place and it was awesome! The host is great and the place is perfect to relax and enjoy yourself. We can’t wait to go back!

    Meghan2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful stay at the executive suite. Ron welcomed me warmly and showed me around the accommodations. The suite was comfortable, cozy, and clean with a rustic charm. As a senior citizen woman traveling all alone, Ron assured me of being secure and having privacy. Any trepidation I had soon dissipated after meeting him and I slept like a baby! I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone traveling in the area.

    Sandy2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Ron’s place is quiet. It’s about three miles outside of a small town. It’s well priced, given that you get your own room and shower. He’s also a friendly person. Enjoyed my stay.

    Danny2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is an unexpected gem because of the quality of people we met here. Ron was so welcoming, kind and generous with his time, talents and friends. Will definitely be back!

Simple living at its best. Get away to a small town away from technology and busy day to day life. You are walking distance to the Cotton Pickin’ Fair (first weekend in May & October), one mile to Quercus Arena or Big Red Oak Plantation. 30 mins to Pine Mtn or Warm Springs. The large bedroom is perfect for a family of four. Bring your favorite DVD or board game for relaxing family time at night. There’s no cable or WiFi to distract you. No smoking or pets. Window AC available and gas heat.
This is a 100+ year old home with the charm of visiting a small town. Step back in time without internet or cable. There’s a full kitchen for meal prep, one bedroom and one bath. Enjoy the swing outside as you watch local traffic ease by. The home is slowly being upgraded. The bathroom has been given a facelift as well as new flooring throughout the home.
The home is in close proximity to town and the railroad track. You can walk to the store on a warm day for an ice cream. There are cooking utensils in the home but no cooking products (salt, pepper, spray -nothing).
  • Let’s go to grand-maw’s! Step back in time at this lovely quaint older home. Enjoy the simple things in life this home and town have to offer. The sound of the train as it passes by, rain drops on the tin roof. Take a good book and relax. Clean, with plenty of space.

  • A beautiful, peaceful house! Kept clean and tidy. Shellie was great to work with. I would love to stay there again!

    Lori2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first experience using a B&B and we couldn't have been happier. Shellie was very prompt in returning calls, meeting us at the house, and informing us of where all the areas best eating places and shopping needs could be had. The house itself was VERY clean and had everything we needed for a great stay during our time in Gay. My wife and I simply loved the place. We've been attending an event in Gay Georgia for the last 11 years, having to drive many miles to the nearest hotel in Peach Tree City. Never again!! Shellie's place was by far our best ever accommodation and it was only 7 minutes from our event. My wife and I HIGHLY recommend this B&B to anyone. Thanks again Shellie !

    Larry2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • I booked Shellie’s place for my dad and one of his buddies for a hunting trip. He has told me 5 times since he left to make sure I leave her an awesome review LOL. He felt very at home here and Shellie went above and beyond to make sure they were happy. Thank you so much!

    Mariah2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • it was reminiscent of going to Grandma's house... an old home that you felt comfortable in. Nothing fancy yet a perfect get away if you want to detach or do something in that area. Thanks, Shellie!

    Teresa2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • I love this charming little vintage home with its updates that were necessary, but everything else left for you to enjoy. Gay is a quiet, relaxing place and Shellie is an exceedingly great host. This was my second stay and I recommend it to friends. I’d stay again in a heartbeat!

    Dinah2019-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely vintage charmer!! Shellie’s house is chock-full of wonderful furnishings from the 40s and onward. It’s a cute little country cottage and the bedroom has two extremely comfortable double beds, using an old iron bed and a mid-century modern headboard on the other. The whole place is just adorable and looks like grandma just left. The bathroom has been updated enough for guests to be comfortable, but not so much that you lose the charm of the home. There are two sitting rooms and a large kitchen with a cozy dining table, where you can gaze out the window and watch the world go by. There’s also a fairly private area with a cute desk, chair and vintage lamp to use your computer and get some work done. Outside, you have covered parking, right by the entrance and there’s a garden swing if you want to relax and enjoy country life. Shellie is an outstanding host, with terrific communication and thoughtful touches. The home is located in Gay and is an easy drive of about 20 minutes to Senoia and a 1 minute walk to The Cotton Pickin’ Fair. I can’t recommend this home enough!!

    Dinah2019-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, spaces rooms but out dated... has everything you need. I would stay at Shellie's place again.

This beautiful and historic Victorian house has all the bells and whistles (the front door still has the original door bell!) and has been updated to modern standards so you can truly enjoy all it has to offer. This house was built by Sherriff Collier, whom was connected to the infamous true events illustrated in the award winning movie, Murder in Coweta County (starring Andy Griffith and Johnny Cash). If you aren't familiar with the story you can read the book or watch the movie or both!
This is a large house and will accommodate 6 adults quite comfortably. If additional people are in the party please inquiry about suitable options.
This house is only steps from the center of town. The charming bells of the courthouse sound lightly on the hour. The Willows eatery is around the corner serving a light breakfast, premium coffee and superb lunches.

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds
our cabin is located in beautiful Pine Mountain Valley Ga which is readily accessible to all kind of entertainment such as Calloway gardens wild animal zoo the little white house located in warm springs ga, which also has every day shop till you drop, and a lot of special events throughoutthe year. beautiful pine mountain is the first set of mountains heading north. UPDATE. JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT BECAUSE OF THE CORONAVIRUS WE AT THE ROOSEVELT ARE MAKING EXTRA EFFORTS BEYOND OUR REGULAR ROUTINE OF THOROUGH CLEANING AND SANITIZING. AFTER CABIN HAS BEEN CLEANED WE GO BACK AN RE SANITIZE BY SPRAYING WITH GERM KILLER. ALSO I AM FORTUNATE IN HAVING MY OWN CLEANING LADY THAT ONLY CLEANS MY HOUSE SO GERMS ARE ARE NOT SPREAD FROM OTHER SOURCES. I WANT A CABIN CLEAN ENOUGH THAT I WOULD NOT BE AFRAID TO STAY IN IT MYSELF.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at The Roosevelt cabin. It's an older cabin, but one of the cleanest places we've stayed. Not a speck of dirt or dust. We were very warm even when temp dropped outside. Very quiet. We enjoyed the rustic look. Our host responded quickly. Everything needed for cooking was available. Plenty of towels, linens, quilts, blankets, and tissue. Beds are very comfortable. Floors sqeak, but not a issue with us.

The home boasts a whooping 3200 square feet of living space and a beautiful yard and porch for outdoor living. An additional bedroom to accommodate 4 is available, inquire about dates
The kitchen is a fully stocked, large area with an infinite amount of cooking utensils. The two guest rooms are located on the second story and do require ascending stairs to reach. Each room is 14x14 with 8 foot ceilings. Your accommodations include the guest bedroom with queen bed, the shared bathroom and all common living areas including the kitchen. Feel free to prepare meals and hang out. My goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible, whether I'm here or not.
Tucked into the downtown area, the home is part of a collection of other earlier architecture representations. The town, and neighborhood, are incredibly friendly and safe.
  • Very nice hosts with a comfortable home. Would recommend.

  • My stay with Polly and John was just what I was looking for. They have the gift of carrying on friendly conversation, with the right balance. Open , warm, and affable, at the same time my privacy was respected . I came and went as I pleased. The house is a lovely antique, with spacious comfortable rooms. The bedding was immaculate, with plenty of pillows and warm covers. The mattress ensured I was able to rest well. Fresh hot coffee was ready every morning and there were always variety of sweets to eat. Both Polly and John are excellent bakers. I recommend Polly's House whole heartedly!

  • Staying at Polly’s place was a great experience. Mrs. Polly is such a great hostess and was so hospitable. My husband and I enjoyed her homemade treats a lot! The room we stayed in was very comfortable and cozy. We agreed that we would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in the area again.

  • Polly and her husband John are wonderful hosts. Polly had delicious snacks waiting, and had recommendations for all the local places to eat. The house is very quaint and well kept. Everything was clean. This is the best experience I’ve had renting a space. I definitely recommend staying here, and would stay here again for future visits.

We just added this room to our house for out of town guests and family. It has its own entrance and isn’t connected to the rest of the house from inside. It has a little kitchen area with a water boiler microwave and fridge. There’s a small table and chairs the table can close for more space. There’s a small bathroom with a shower and a queen bed all in 160 square feet so a very tiny space :) there’s a little porch area to hang out.
We are outside of Pine Mountain and Callaway Gardens. We are a few miles off the interstate so also a practical place between Atlanta and Columbus.

A quaint home on almost 4 acres of land providing comfort along with peace and quiet. Only 2.5 miles from downtown Warm Springs.
  • Sherry's Grandfather's Place is a quiet retreat in a comfortable, well-built older home that has been meticulously maintained and updated. It's very close to Warm Springs and the FDR retreat, and both were well-worth visiting, even on a rainy, cold weekend.

    Helen2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent value for an excellent space.

    Henry2019-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Sherry's place was a beautiful home and had all the amenities you would need and extra. Everything was so beautifully decorated and my kids really enjoyed the game room.

    Teresa2019-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Cute family retreat in rural Georgia! We loved that er were all set to have a game nite but there was also separate areas privacy as well

    Roger2019-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • We (5 & 9 year old daughters and me) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sherry's place. The house is described accurately, is clean, and is very comfortable, although it is an older home. The beds/pillows were comfortable, and there are modern touches such as a google mini and charging stations for your devices. The girls loved the game room! The location worked well for us, as we were in the area to see Fantasy in Lights at Callaway Gardens. Sherry was an excellent host: went out of her way to accommodate us, answered many questions quickly, offered helpful information about the area & food options, etc. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas! The only surprise was that the house is located very close to a railroad crossing, and the train runs multiple times day & night. Thankfully, we go nowhere without sound machines (we're all light sleepers). We turned up the volume and had no issues. So, pack your bags & sound machines & enjoy your stay in Warm Springs! We hope to return for a 2nd visit in the next year.

    Lorraine2018-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Sherry was the best host! The house was exactly as the listing noted. It was ultra clean and had everything we needed. Check in and out was a very easy process. She left instructions on the use and operation of the amenities in the house. She also provided suggestions for places to eat in town. We enjoyed the stay and can see a return trip in the future.

This quaint home was built in 1953 and we have designed it as a quiet getaway spot for our family. The Killian family has ties to the local history and FDR in Warm Springs. Now we are opening it up for others to enjoy. We want to thank our guests for making a breakout year at the Killian House. We had a visit from Sam Killian III the son of the builders of the house. We had a writing group with published authors, three wedding parties, families of graduates, history buffs, and just great people.
The Killian House Retreat is perfect for Girl's weekend getaways, Wedding parties, Family gatherings, Couples getaways, Historical explorations, Golf outings and Hiking adventures. The house is 1900 sq/ft and sits on a secluded 1.5 acre wooded lot on top of a hill above Warm Springs GA. We have seen deer, fox, and the always entertaining squirrels on the property. The tree surrounded lot is perfect for star gazing. Common Areas Cozy new furniture fills the rooms for long conversations or napping. The dining room seats 8 for candlelit dinners. The Den table is ready for snacks, games, and puzzles. Sit on the front porch with your morning coffee and watch the sun come up. The outdoor grill can prepare a large meal or just use the fire pit to roast marshmallows. Grab a snack and head to the back porch to talk and laugh as the sun sets. Killian House Retreat is the perfect quiet place to finish that research paper, work project, craft project, or wedding plans. There is plenty of room for private small retreats for work, school, or church groups. Kitchen The 50's style kitchen is newly updated but reminds you of Grandmother's warm reception in her favorite spot. Bake your own cookies or have wine from the local winery with cheese to relax in comfort. Entertainment We have chosen not to have a TV in the Killian House Retreat. We use the house as a place to unplug, rejuvenate, and renew communications with each other. However, there is killer wifi with easy access all over the house. We created a blank wall and provided an easy to use video projector to experience that special movie, game, or cat video together. Surrounding Activities We are 15 minutes from Calloway Gardens with an easy drive to Pine Mountain. Many adventures await such as: Christmas Fantasy in Lights, golf, hiking, Gardens, Water ski events, Lakefront beach, Butterfly Gardens, and Treetop challenge course, biking, canoeing, and live raptor shows. FDR's Little White House is 1 minute away just down the hill. The historic pools that helped FDR refocus his life before his political career are at the bottom of the hill below his house. Take a tour of the Warm Springs Winery. The featured local wines are made from Scuppernong and Muscadine grapes. Taste the unique pepper infused "Hotlanta" wine. The Roosevelt State park borders the property. There are over 40 miles of trails in the park. Many trails lead to multiple waterfalls along the hike. Beginners to advanced hikers will enjoy the trails. The Liberty Bell Pool is a great day of swimming after hitting the trails. Antique shopping is abundant in Warm Springs and the many surrounding small towns. Being further from a large city the "finds" are plentiful. Restaurants abound in the local area. While we lost our historic Bullock House building, the owners have opened again in an historic downtown building. The food is just as good and the genuine welcoming nature of Warm Springs is still alive. Mac's Bar B Que is a perfect southern fare. The Gardens Restaurant at Calloway is a beautiful night out. Only 30 minutes away the riverfront in Columbus GA offers 5 great restaurants along the beautifully restored walking park.
This home is a history buff's dream. We found that the dining room lamp is a Tesla patented lamp design. It was has an electrical kit to convert oil lamp parts. We estimate that it was originally sold in 1893. The front porch furniture is "Old Hickory" furniture from the 1920's originally built for the Meriweather Inn. The Inn was the first location of the Warm Springs Institute and later purchased by Roosevelt. There is an historic photo of Sam Killian Sr., the Mayor of Warm Springs and FDR during the early days of FDR's rehabilitation from polio. The home was built by his son Sam Killian Jr in 1953. The property adjoining the site is owned by the Alcorn family. FDR was to attend a BarBQ hosted by the Alcorn's the day he died. Located on the adjacent site are the charred remains of the Alcorn family home which was built with wood taken from the Meriweather Inn when it was dismantled.
  • Our stay at the Killian House Retreat far exceeded our expectations! It was a perfect fit for our large family and we will definitely plan to stay there again the next time we visit Warm Springs. Mark is an excellent host and responds to questions almost immediately.

  • What a great stay! Antonia and her dogs were wonderful and so welcoming! It was a true home away from home and a great place to rest after a long day of competition at Poplar Place farm. Her hospitality, the amenities offered, and her pet friendly home were above and beyond our expectations! I need to know what mattress she has on her beds, they were SO comfortable!

  • There isn't quite a host like Polly and John. Their hospitality was unmatched yet genuine. After a trip delay, I arrived at 11pm STARVING but was warmly greeted by Polly. With no local restaurants open, Polly offered to make me supper! Over the course of my 6-day stay, I felt welcomed and cared for. The place was sparkling clean, they were extremely respectful and friendly, and there was always breakfast foods on the table. I was even fortunate and blessed to have dinner with Polly, John and their daughter-in-law, thanks to a wonderful dinner crafted by Polly (a dinner to remember)! Oh, I also won't forget the card game that we played! How fun! It's unfortunate that Airbnb only allows a maximum of 5 stars. I wish I could give them 5 DIAMONDS, because they are truly one of a kind! May God continue to bless your health and longevity. I hope to visit you both again sometime in the future!

Our Family Pond House is s ranch style home built in the 80’s. It’s located on 30 acres of wooded land overlooking a small pond. Very quiet and secluded environment. We are the closest neighbors on the other side of the pond. Available if needed, but otherwise non intrusive. Our family enjoys using the home for get togethers and celebrations. We look forward to others enjoying this warm and welcome home.
Ours is a small neighborhood just outside of Shiloh, GA. Only family on our street. Not much traffic. Great for walking, a couple of good hills. Very quiet and peaceful.
  • The Pond House was everything you could ask for. Spacious, sparkling clean, and homey. I would recommend Sylvia’s place to everyone!

  • Arriving at this place felt like coming home to a favorite Grandma. Everything was sparkling clean and in great shape, and we could tell Sylvia wanted us to feel cozy and cared for. The kitchen is well-stocked and there are plenty of pots, pans and utensils (which is not always the case). The property is beautiful and includes an adorable pond which is really great for fishing (catch and release). Definitely recommend this place and we will be back for sure!

  • Truly a home away from home. The moment we stepped in the doors we knew this was the place for us. Sparkling clean, with a beautiful view. I wish we could have stayed longer, and if we are in the area, we will definitely stay again. Everything was just perfect and given the opportunity, we wouldn't change anything. The house was the perfect space and the kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms were cozy and clean, and even the sheets were high quality cotton. Plenty of towels in the bathroom, and beautiful artwork through out the house, done by the owner herself! It was a great experience and we were not disappointed!

  • This place was really neat. Quite, peaceful area. Staying at the house was like time traveling. The decor was obviously from another era but it looked brand new and exceptionally clean. The dock is inaccessible but it is nice overlooking the pond from the porch or strolling around it. The owner was the neighbor and they were super friendly and helpful. House was well stocked with paper products towels, etc.

  • This place was amazing from the time we drove up. The view was gorgeous and the farm animals were adorable. Everything in the (surprisingly large) farm house was updated and was more than enough room for 6 people. We cooked brunch in the large kitchen and went fishing up on the covered deck. We weren’t bothered at all and it seemed like a great vacation get away for my friends and I. My dog enjoyed running around the lake and sleeping on the covered porch. The family room was great for our games and the fact that it had an air hockey table made for a very competitive night haha. Lee was also gracious enough to allow us a later checkout in order to have another meal together before heading back to the city. This was the quiet getaway we all needed. Even though the world is quarantining, it can still be necessary to get away, Lee’s place was perfect for that.

  • Great fun space. My kids loved it. I loved the deck and proximity to activities.

  • Fabulous place in great location - central to even walk to “downtown” area, Callaway & eateries, easy 10-20 min drive to get to Pine Mountain trails Spacious, stylish, incredible views on quiet street Plenty of towels, linens, kitchen gear & coffee Very comfortable MCM home to enjoy the beauty of the area in

    Jennifer2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Ugh, we're in love with Kerry's place. Amazing style and MUCH bigger than the photos show. Lots of space and well thought out design. We went to the Wild Animal Safari and it's perfect distance away. Will definitely stay there again!

    Aaron2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The house is even nicer than the pictures and is only 5 minutes from FDR state park. I will point out that, while there is a bedroom on the main floor, the steps to the other bedrooms are steep and might pose a problem for older people. The room with twin beds is really a loft. There isn’t a dishwasher, which wasn’t an issue for us, but there, also, isn’t a microwave, which I would have liked.

    Susan2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very charming home with a comfortable feel. People can have privacy or easily be all together. Fully equipped for your needs and very close to everything in and around town. Kind of dark inside which I love but bring a task light if you craft or read. Easy check in, great price, awesome host!

  • This was our third Thanksgiving in a row staying in one of Shannan’s properties, and our second year staying in the Wild West Cabin. Even though we knew exactly what to expect, the cabin was somehow even nicer than we had remembered! It is clean and cozy, with all the comforts and amenities we needed for our family with young children. It was another wonderful holiday and we enjoyed all the outdoor excursions Pine Mountain has to offer.

    Brittany2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Super beautiful, cozy cabin. Had everything we needed and the beds were so comfy! We came with a second couple, so the privacy of having the bedrooms on different floors was nice. We had a lot of fun with the foosball table and I took a relaxing bath with the jets on. We went to Callaway and the Wild Animal Safari. Both were so much fun. The food we had while there was also great. My only complaint was that the wifi didn't work for any of our phones or laptops. Other than that, we had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

A little piece of Heaven. Loved roosters, ducks, nice porch with rocking chairs, Beautifully decorated. By far, the best AirBnb so far that we have stayed in. Wish we could of stayed longer.

  • This place is amazing! Kimberly and Stephen were great hosts their communication was great and they answered all of my questions in a timely manner. The place was immaculate and sparkling clean. This was by far my best air b&b experience and I’m already anticipating my return to Kimberly and Stephens place.

    Akeem2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Another great stay at Kimberly and Stephen's pretty place! They have thought of everything that you would need for a relaxing stay! Love the sound of the trains and roosters!

    Colleen2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great location for us, as we desired proximity to family members in the small town of Moreland. Kim and Steve are very kind and encouraged us to enjoy the TV/streaming services, rocking chairs on patio, paddle boat and pool and poker tables. As they reside on the main floor, we could hear their footsteps above, but could not hear their voices. Bathroom shower was far more clean and pleasant than my own! Entire home was clean and comfortable. Hope that we have an opportunity to stay again!

    Allison2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Kimberly and Stephen’s basement apartment was an immaculate space, beautifully decorated , and they provided the utmost hospitality and nice touches. We loved the farmhouse/rustic and cabin decor and got some amazing ideas for our new home. We loved the rainfall shower, the shiplap walls, and the Edison bulbs/ Mercury glass in the bathroom which were all extra nice touches. The barn house door for the bedroom and the fresh apple fritters and coffee station provided, made it feel like home! We would love to stay here again in the future to spend more time at the lake and enjoy more of the scenery! Thank you again for allowing us to stay!

    Troydawn2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Spent a week with Kimberly and Stephen while in town helping my dad. It was so nice to have this super soft place to land at the end of every day. Highly recommend this great space, close to Atlanta, but away from traffic and noise, a perfect spot!

    Colleen2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Kimberly and Stephen are the best! Their place is a slice of heaven in the country! The basement apartment is amazing! Very large and roomy and they have thought of everything you would need and then some. Highend appliances in the modern kitchen with large farm sink to beautiful bath tile with large shower to the barn door and outdoor tv and did I mention the gorgeous rooster, all make this a perfect airbnb! You can walk out on the dock and watch the ducks and enjoy morning coffee. I can not say enough about my wonderful stay here and reccomend this experience for anyone coming through the area.

    Colleen2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Kimberly and Steve was very nice and the place was awesome. It was very clean, comfortable, convenient, and quiet. You can be away from busy city life to tranquility in 20 mins. Nice touch of interior and thoughtful things especially the food in the refrigerator. Thanks.

A 2000 square foot apartment tucked away in the small town of Grantville GA, USA. This renovated section of a 100 year old building is equipped with a full kitchen, laundry room, 5 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and is located adjacent to "Morgan's" apartment made famous in the Walking Dead's "Clear" episode. Just a 30 minute drive from other exciting filming locations, Grantville is the perfect place to get away and enjoy a little post apocalyptic fun!
In a post apocalyptic world you discover an old abandoned building left behind by Morgan after a visit from his friend Rick. Luckily, Morgan has "cleared" the building of walkers for a bite free experience, or has he? This apartment is MASSIVE, leaving many shadows for walkers to lurk. Great news, though! You will find the facilities quite accommodating for apocalyptic times as it has hot running water, electricity and, on most days, internet! The apartment across the hall from where you will be staying has been recreated as it was in Season 3 Episode 12 of The Walking Dead also known as the "Clear" episode. Grantville has also been used in several movies such as Dumb and Dumber 2, Term Life, Lawless, Broken Bridges and more! Includes Pots, Pans, Utensils, Plates, Cups, Coffee Pot, Cream and Sugar, and Towels. Also has a TV with Direct TV. We also provide two box fans as we know some people like fans when they sleep!
Grantville is a sparse little town with liquor stores and a Dollar General. There is a small family ran pharmacy downstairs from the apartment.
  • It was a wonderful place to stay for our Walking Dead tours vacay.

    Kelly2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • We only stayed one night, but it was great! For every TWD fan a must-see. Mary was very friendly and explained everything in great detail (she also gave a lot of tips for locations to visit). The apartment is very big, we had so much space. It was decorated with great TWD pieces. It just got a bit cold at night, other than that we can't complain about anything. Wish we could have stayed for longer than one night! If you're in the area and a TWD fan, there really is no other option;)

    Svea-Susann2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • A very large and very clean apartment a very nice experience for walking dead fans with Morgan's apartment next door I highly recommend

    Juliana2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • If you are a walking dead fan this is a must stay. The space is huge and well done. Morgan’s apartment is truly a must for all TWD fans. Mary is amazing with area knowledge and filming details and her stories are a must hear.

    Jason2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is really a wonderful and unique experience for any walking dead fan. This place is perfect to bring your clan. Six bedrooms one large common area, And yes they get AMC on their cable LOL these are all important things to know! Three of the bedrooms have single beds two have a queen bed and one has a king. More than enough room for everyone! there is one full bath in the main living area of the apartment and then threw a special Narnia door into the Morgan’s Apt attraction is a half bath you can use too. The access to the attraction was unlimited the entire time. great for photo ops and exploring clues and references. In addition Atlanta movie tours sometimes stops off with a tour group to check out the apartment this could be good for you because quite often they are tour guides were actors on the show! It’s great meeting them! Just don’t take too much of the time because they’re trying to put on a tour here LOL. you’re literally in walking distance to a few other filming locations right there, in addition a cool haunted historical brick home right down the street with a ghost cat that hangs out outside and then disappears lol Grantville might be quiet and not offer a lot merchants, but it is still a very unique and interesting town with some great historical architecture including the building that Morgan‘s apartment is in, not to mention again filming locations!!! The people who run Morgan’s are a class act and full of wonderful Southern Hospitality, very kind and helpful! Only things to consider are the stairs if you have physically impaired people in your group, a car is needed to get around. Quickest way to fast food or Waffle House is South to next exit. It’s really a quick round trip, the Dollar General in town (also walking distance) has food and much more. You are really in the center of the good stuff here.

    Leslie2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is huge! We arrived to a smiling and excited Mary, she was genuinely excited for us to get to see the decorations in the apartment and Morgans. She had a Christmas tree on with zombies and characters from the walking dead. She made sure that we knew where everything was and then gave us a tour of Morgans apartment and other movie History sites of the town. We loved watching TWD episodes in the place they were filmed. Such an amazing value for the experience. Thank you!

    Jamie2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Unbelievable space for TWD fans

    Eli2019-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect place for Walking Dead families! The apartment is super spacious, with 6 bedrooms surrounding a massive living space. Everything was sparkling clean and comfortable! Grantville is so close (within a 30 min drive) to all the best TWD hotspots, a few are in town too! Jim and Mary are fantastic people and they make sure your stay is amazing! This apt is a must for any fan of the show, or families who just need a little more space! You won't find a better value, or a better community!

  • This is a wonderful location for two reasons: (1) Rebecca does a great job with communication and really makes you feel welcome. (2) The fact that you have the whole basement to yourself, including bedroom, great tv and sitting room, and nice bathroom. Very well done and I'd highly recommend to anyone.

Unfortunately there is no internet but the library is only about 5 minutes away and they have public wifi even when the place itself is not open! The two pups are cute and like the attention you give them if you're into dogs. Overall it was a great experience and I would stay again!

  • A divine experience with a helpful host willing to converse and give helpful tips about the local area. Excellent service from a family owned business that makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Breakfast was excellent with a sweet treat at the end. Thank you Sheri for your hospitality. Hope to see you again.

  • The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed! Very clean and perfectly located outside of Atlanta, so you get the small town feel while being able to get to the city very quickly. Best experience ever with Airbnb!

  • Beautiful home with beautiful antique furnishings. The owners were very nice and met all of our needs. Breakfast was fantastic. I give it 5 stars.

  • The place is absolutely stunning and Sheri’s daughter is the most attentive kid I’ve ever met. I didn’t get to try the breakfast because I had to leave super early every morning but they made sure they left me a to-go breakfast including pastries, fruit, individually wrapped snacks and coffee every morning! I’ll definitely be back!!

  • This place is AMAZING. The house is gorgeous, spotless, comfortable. The breakfast is by far the best either of us have ever eaten. The hospitality was endless. If you have any reason at all to be in the area stay here, if you do not have a reason make an excuse just so that you can stay here! The beds were so comfortable that only a breakfast that good could lure you away! The room were incredibly spacious. Near Callaway Gardens, Lagrange, Pine Mountain, Senoia (if you are a Walking Dead fan). Perfect area for a romantic weekend getaway! Our favorite airbnb! Thank you guys so much for making us feel so welcome!
