  • In the pod is everything you need! We enjoyed every minute at this cozy place. The bathroom was a little bit cold.

  • Exactly as described if not even better. Very good value and in a lovely location with all the necessary shops and such close by. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend as a place to stay.

    James2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • The pod is cozy, cute and has everything to allow a comfortable stay. It was very well heated and sparkling clean. Even if my boyfriend is quite tall, it wasn’t too much of an issue and he managed to shower and get around comfortably. We loved the little touches such as the highland cow and purple theme, which added personality to the stay. We really had a great time at the pod and would love to stay again!

    Marina2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • The pod is so cosy and perfect for a break away from the hustle and bustle of life! The location is perfect for exploring the highlands. Hosts were great and provided all the local knowledge we needed to get around! Can’t wait to come back for a follow up visit!

    James2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place! Definitely would come back.. spean bridge is a beautiful place

    Ellie-Anne2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved our stay at the wee pod! It’s well thought through & has everything you need for a short stay. The weather wasn’t amazing being January but the pod is nice & warm to return to after a day out. Quiet but great location with a car about 15 mins into Fort William for restaurants. Harry Potter Bridge, Ben Nevis & Loch Ness all very commutable. Would highly recommend!

  • This is a lovely property, you can believe the photos, it’s immaculate, comfortable and perfectly placed for rail travellers. Sy was a great host thoughtfully turning on the heating for me arriving. He was helpful in communications but left me to enjoy his gorgeous cottage.

  • Our stay at Sy’s place was great. Photos don’t do the place justice, has absolutely everything you need, definitely the best kitted out air Bnb I’ve stayed in. Sy was really helpful with local tips and came to check us in. Would 100% recommend :)

Our highland lodge sits on the shores of Loch Lochy in the Great Glen of Scotland. A secluded location perfect for local trails, climbing the highest mountain in the uk or just relaxing by the water. Freshly refurbished and new to airbnb, this unique location is perfect for road trips, groups and special events. Every room has a view of the loch and outdoor area to enjoy the sunsets. If you would like further pictures please follow #smokeyoaklodge on Instagram.
Smokey Oak is a perfect space to take in the raw beauty of the Great Glen. Loch Lochy is on your doorstep and there are views up and down the loch which give you an amazing feeling of space as you watch the different boats travelling along the Caledonian Canal. We offer the chance to cook your own food or use the local restaurants (which also do take away). Use Smokey Oak as a base to plan trips to the major attractions in the highlands.
Although Smokey oak is in a peaceful and remote setting, It is only 3.5 miles from the local village with shop/pubs/restaurants and 10 miles from the town of Fort William. There you can find major supermarkets, a decent selection of pubs/restaurants and anything you would need from a town highstreet. The cable car gondola on Nevis range and various trails, including climbing Ben Nevis, is right on your doorstep. Many people now use Fort William to go on the Harry Potter train line to Mallaig or travel further on the A82 for a day in stunning Glen Coe. Using Smokey Oak as a base for different day trips is a great idea because from the lodge you can reach Skye, Oban, Cairngorm National Park, Inverness and Morar Silver Sands beaches in just 1.5 hours. Even if you want a day without the car, there are some secret trails from the lodge as well as the more popular Great Glen Way right beside you.
  • Clean rooms, very reasonably priced with very obliging and at attentive host. Would recommend to those for first night on the Great Glen Way from Fort William. Worth the 1.5 ml detour from the GGW and if you are so inclined bring a travelling fishing rod. Euan

  • Staying at Graeme's was a great experience as the house is located in a really charming, peaceful area, close to the coolest landmarks of the Highlands. Also, Graeme is a very nice and helpful person. The standard of a room was rather basic, but it was clean and the shared kitchen was well-equipped and neat. I would recommend Graeme's place for a short stay when travelling through the beautiful Highlands!

    Sarah2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • The lodge is a perfect place to stay after a hard walking day. The landscape around the lodge is beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed the night there with stars, a bright moon at night and a stunning view in the morning. Graeme is a lovely host that help in every situation. We hope to come back soon.

    Jan2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a nice evening and night. The place is really beautiful, the sunset on the loch was amazing. Graeme is a very welcoming host who can provide good advices and info about walks in the region. Highly recommanded.

  • It was a lovely stay at this place. Graeme was especially helpful and was a great host. Comfortable stay in our room and love how everything felt like home.

    Johan2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is all about the location, the views, and the host! Couldn't find a more perfect spot to sit and have a cup of tea (or just sit and look at the views for several hours...). Check-in nice and easy. Right on the loch. Short drive to Fort William. Shorter drive to Spean Bridge. Easy to get to Ben Nevis, Mallaig, Loch Ness, Loch Lomond... Graeme was lovely and was very happy to share stories about the clans and the stories of the loch. Thank you for a great stay!

Ivy Cottage is located just outside Spean Bridge near Fort William in the Scottish Highlands. It offers a cosy 1 bedroomed space all on the lower floor. Perfect for couples, hill walkers, bikers and outdoor enthusiasts. The cottage has central heating and everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is one double bedroom and a small double sofa bed in the living room. There is also a lovely open fireplace in the living area for an evening fire.
  • Great cottage in a beautiful location. Fraser was a nice guy who made us feel very welcome. We loved the fact that he had made sure there was firewood provided.

    Vera2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed a few cosy days at Fraser's. The cottage was well equiped and we truly loved the fireplace (which helped keep the cottage cosy as it was already quite cold outsider!). Apart from the road that was quite passing during the day, we loved the location and cottage. Thank you Fraser!

    Camille2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Fraser’s cottage is just incredible! It is in the most beautiful location and is full of thoughtful and hearty touches from the amazing open fire to the super comfortable bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could want and it’s super warm and cosy at night. Fraser and Jessica were both lovely and happy to help with anything we needed! We also really enjoyed taking warm baths whilst it was pouring rain outside, it was just an overall wonderful place to stay. Can highly recommend!

    Chelsea2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage was amazing and everything we had hoped for! The cottage was surrounded by beautiful mountains, had free WiFi, lots of plates, bowls and cooking equipment. The log fire worked perfectly and kept us very warm! There are no normal tv channels but the tv did have Netflix and YouTube which suited us fine. The cottage is about a 20 min drive to a big Aldi and M&S, 1 hour drive to Loch Ness, 30 min drive to Ben Nevis (which is why we went to Scotland!). As mentioned in previous reviews the water is a funny brown colour, but was absolutely fine to drink, shower and cook with. Fraser was an excellent host who responded very quickly and helped us out massively when we had to leave a day early! Thanks Fraser!

    Haylea2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is very cosy, well equipped and nicely decorated. The fireplace is superb! Great location, very short drive from Fort William. Frazer was a great host and gave us some vegetable from his garden.

  • We had a really good time at Frasers beautiful cottage. It is a great place to explore the highlands and it has everything to need to feel at home. The communication with Fraser was perfect!

Newly renovated one bedroom cottage which is set peacefully off the road in the crofting community of Stronaba. Fantastic views from all aspects yet not too far to the local amenities of Spean Bridge and the town of Fort William. A great base for accessing local walks, local historical sites, biking, skiing, and a whole range of other outdoor sports that Lochaber has available.
  • Callum’s cottage is a very cosy one. It is perfectly equipped, very clean and has a nice atmosphere. You can see the ducks and chickens running around and also enjoy the great view. We had a very warm welcome, the fire was burning nicely so we came in a warm house while it was very cold outside. We would surely recommend Squirrel Cottage!

    Christel2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent! Wonderfully cozy with an amazing wood burning stove

    Neil2019-12-29T00:00:00Z

    Laura2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Squirrel Cottage was lovely, it was beautifully clean and with the wood burner going it was lovely and snug. We had several day trips out as the cottage is close to lots of local attractions. The dish washer was a bonus as we ate in the cottage each night. All in all it was a great stay

    Jen2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Nice cosy cabin in a great location. Everything you need for a weekend or longer away. Only downside was a very soft/worn out mattress. Otherwise perfect and looks better in person than the photos!

    James2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful time at Squirrel Cottage. Mary and Callum were very hospitable, the cottage was incredibly cosy and the location is beautiful!

    Helena2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic little place that made the perfect base for our trip away exploring the highlands - the fire made the cottage perfectly cosy on a rainy evening.

    George2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice address. The accommodation is great. Clean, all amenities for us and our 10 month old baby. The landscape and the view from the room are beautiful. Callum and his wife are very discreet but available when needed. We had a little trouble finding the cottage because we had no internet connection. A neighbor helped us. Otherwise everything was perfect !!!!!!! thank you very much

The Crazy Cabin in Achnacarry is the perfect place to stop if you're on the Great Glen Way, or canoeing the Caledonian Canal, or just exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. Small, cosy and comfortable for two with twin beds, seating and microwave cooking facilities inside the Cabin; and a toilet/shower space for your exclusive use outside just a few metres away. And a covered decking area to enjoy the amazing views. Osprey, otters, red squirrels and pine martin are almost daily visitors.
The beds are 75cm wide but very comfortable and all linen, duvets and towels are provided. There is an electric heater to keep the cabin cosy and electricity is included in the rental. Two comfortable chairs inside, and two chairs outside on the decking give you a choice of seating. There is a microwave, kettle and sink with crockery and cutlery but please note that there is no cooker. Guests should bring all their own food but we have a small stock of simple, frozen ready meals suitable for the microwave, as well as a selection of soups and breakfast cereals always available to buy, so no-one will go hungry! Note that there is no shop, restaurant or any food source nearer than Spean Bridge (7km). Fridge and freezer facilities for your use are available adjacent to the Cabin and the fridge is stocked with bottled beers, fruit juices and water should you want to buy these.
Spean Bridge is about 5 miles away and Fort William about 10 miles. Achnacarry Castle, seat of the Clan Cameron and home to the Camerons of Lochiel is a 10 minute walk away, together with the Clan Cameron Museum. Kayaking, fishing, mountaineering, biking and winter snow sports are all available locally. The Great Glen Way passes our front garden.

  • The Crazy Cabin is the perfect place for short or long stays, this was my second visit where I have stayed for a week for a photography trip. It's in an amazing location for exploring the area. It was great sitting out side in the evening looking over the Loch. Sandy and Christine were perfect hosts. The cabin was ideal for me for the week, very clean and comfortable. It was great to have under floor heating in the shower too. I would recommend staying at the cabin to anyone wanting to explore the area.

Make my house a home from home. As a guest in the house, please feel free to make use of the large cosy living room with a log burning stove to keep you nice and toasty in the winter (logs and coal supplied), as well a fully equipped kitchen. The room is set up to give that luxurious feel to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I work in the local area as an Outdoor Pursuits Instructor, so will hopefully be able to answer any questions you may have places to explore
I own a friendly, clean and well behaved dog called Benji. He will be kept out of the way during the stay, however not suitable if you have an allergy to dogs
There is a village shop and a pub. It is a quiet residential area, a friendly atmosphere and child friendly. There are local play areas/swing park if you are here with family. Plenty of scenic walks with fantastic views of the mountains. We are only 6 miles from the Nevis Range (Ski Resort).
  • I had such a wonderful time staying with Reece. I came up to the area on my own for a bit of an escape. Reece was really helpful and even came to pick me up from Fort William due to a road closure making getting to his a bit complicated. The house is lovely - every morning I would pad down to the remnants of a fire he had lit before going to work and chill out on the comfy sofa with a cuppa in front of Netflix. I spent quite a bit of time exploring the area - the location is great! Reece was really helpful with hiking tips too. All the facilities in the house are really nice and the whole place is super clean and tidy. I'm already planning a trip back!

    Sophia2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • One word to describe our stay: FANTASTIC. Reece’s house is perfectly clean, well taken care of and has all the equipment one’s needs. The geographical situation of the house is ideal, in a quiet and nice neighbourhood near from many sightseeing points. I definetely recommend this house, as we feel there at home. Joanne2019-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Reece's home and room was one of the best we made! We will definitely come back to discover more of the area of Fort William/Glencoe! Reece is really welcoming, he can advise you on where to go or some interesting walks. Even on Skye! The room and the house in general were ultra clean, a fire was burning in the living room when we arrived, very nice attention. Finally, the dog Benji is really friendly and adorable but if you're not a dog person Reece keeps him away so no worries! Wonderful stay!

Located in the peaceful village of Spean Bridge. A 30 second walk to the local pub and very close to the local convenience store, local cafes and restaurants. The cottage has been recently renovated and offers a garden and off street parking.
The whole cottage and garden area!
A quiet and calm village on the main road between Glasgow and the Isle of Skye. There are good local amenities including cafes, restaurants, a pub and a small grocery shop.
  • Great space and responsive host. Warm and cosy after a long day on the mountains!

  • I am always really wary of writing really good reviews as it means that the popularity of a place increases and ultimately reduces my chances of getting a booking in the future, bacause it will always be fully booked. However, I feel compelled to write a reveiw as Marianne's place was amazing. The location is perfect, 50 feet from the pub. The town of Spean Bridge is great and has everything you would need on your stay. The amenities, heat, shower and tv are perfect, as were all the cooking facilities. Marianne was really quick to answer any questions and resolved them immediately. throughly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area.

  • Hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in!! Amazing room, that is decorated beautifully and included special touches like books, snacks, juice, milk, etc. Warm, spacious and cosy! Exactly what we needed after a long day hiking! Yvonne and Jude are fabulous hosts, and we will certainly be back!

    Sarah2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful accommodation in a quiet location, 15 minutes drive from Fort William. The room is almost an independent housing, it lacks only the kitchen. There is a fridge in the room with breakfast. Yvonne and her husband are kind and full of good advice.

    Borner2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Yvonne’s place was great and we’d highly recommend. The room is very private with a separate entrance to the rest of the house. It’s a large room and very nicely decorated. We also loved the nice touches with breakfast food, tea, coffee and snacks provided.

    Isobel2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The room is tastefully decorated. The private bathroom is a real plus. Yvonne was very kind and welcoming. We had everything we needed for breakfast (fresh fruit, milk and fresh orange juice, cakes ...). Everything was perfect. Thank you Yvonne!

    Amandine2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Yvonne was a very friendly and helpful host and the room is rather a little appartment than anything else, which had absolutely everything you need and wish for a relaxed and lovely stay. A very spacious and light room with even a small fridge with juice and milk and enough space for own supplies as well as fruit, cereal bars and oats. Highly recommendation for this marvelous place!

    Robert2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb stands out by its coziness, style and spaciousness. We had a really nice stay at Yvonne’s. She prepared us with some goodies breakfast, which we really enjoyed. The neighbourhood is rural and quiet, with beautiful views. There are several good restaurants within a few miles. • It is a ge (chic) t separated own house area with private access via the terrace. In the lower area there is kitchen and bathroom and upstairs a bedroom. There is everything you need and if there is still an extra wish, the next door with Linda and Stevie will be gladly fulfilled. We felt very comfortable and there are a lot of tourist highlights in the area.

    Diana2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely apartment. The hosts are really lovely and welcoming. There is an awesome view over the Nevis range from the apartment.

    Andrew2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Linda's place is exactly what we needed. We were greeted by some typical Scottish weather which meant the incredible views were hidden for the first couple of days but once the weather cleared up you get an amazing private view of the Ben Nevis Range. The house is located off a quiet single track road and is a well thought out, simple, and relaxing space. We were able to have a log fire each night while watching the summer sun set over the mountains which is a world away from the never ending nightlife in London. It's about 20 minutes from Fort William which is the closest major town with all kinds of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. It's also perfectly located for exploring the Nevis Range and heading off to the West Coast. If we could we would live here! We'll definitely be back.

Featured in the Scotsman as 1 of 14 of Scotland's most remote Airbnbs "Live out your childhood dream of sleeping in a treehouse at this secret hideaway in Spean Bridge in the Highlands. Set on the grounds of Allt-a-Bhruais House, the treehouse has bunkbeds, comfy chairs, and is decorated with antlers and sheep and deer hides. Accessed via a steep ladder and lit by candles, the treehouse is ideal for family adventures or a romantic getaway. A wood burner will keep you toasty on chilly evenings."
To access the treehouse you have to climb a steep ladder. There are two comfy chairs in the treehouse. This is a basic space for an off grid experience. The bottom bunk is extra long and can sleep two children in stead of one adult, or an adult and a small child. There is a small woodturning stove to keep you warm and to heat at a kettle for your hot drinks. Breakfast will be provided either in our dining room or picnic basket delivered to the kitchen. The treehouse is decorated with old furniture, beach finds, woollen blankets, antlers and deer and sheep hides. There are plenty of candles to keep the space lit at night and we provide wood for the wood burner. We have Highland Soap toiletries and towels for you to use in the bathroom. Basic kitchen in the garage has a kettle, fridge and mini oven. The kitchen and bathroom is located in our office building. This is a communal space and will be used by office staff from Monday - Thursday
We are a mile outside Spean Bridge so guests should have their own transport or not mind a hike along a busy road.
  • If you are looking for an unusual experience in a small town - you should totally check this house out! We had a great time- it is very cozy, the sounds of a river right beneath our feet. The host was very very nice and was vert patient with us because we got a little lost;) Anja made the most sweetest breakfast I ever had from a host!! We had a wonderful time😁😁😁

  • An awesome experience in such a special place! Cosy & warm by candlelight, we didn’t need the log burner to stay perfectly snug. Lovely welcoming hosts, spotless bathroom in the main house and a wonderful fresh breakfast basket to have in the treehouse in the morning 👌

  • What a beautiful and unusual wee home in a great spot. Thoroughly enjoyed our one night and wished it could have been longer. Cosy stove, wonderful views and excellent and attentive hosts. Excellent breakfast too. Thanks also for the local tips. Ben Nevis will need to wait for another time. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

    Sara2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • The address on the airbnb is a little bit different from the exact location so it is better to check the treehouse location with Anja in advance and check in earlier. Anja was very nice to wait us in the rain for a long time until we arrived. We arrived there too late and it was raining so it was difficult to climb up to the treehouse and took our luggages up there. But we still have a good night in the treehouse and have a great breakfast. It is an unforgettable experience.

    Ya-Lin2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was a beautiful, quaint little treehouse which was really cosy.

    Ben2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • That is one of a treehouse! Cutest little house upgraded with all you may need and yet without anything you may regret having! During a single evening we realized electricity is unnecessary, heating from a wood-fueled stove is much more pleasant than anything else and candlelight adds that magical touch. We spent a lovely evening at the treehouse, listening to the creek below and rain above, drinking tea and tasty liquor provided by Anja after which we had wonderful sleep! I believe enough has been said about the breakfast in other reviews, so I'll just leave a little smiley here: :) Great stay and an experience you definitely want!

  • If you love outdoors and glamping experiences, this is a lovely place to stay at! The views of Ben Nevis are fascinating, the hut is very cosy (and the fireplace helps to keep it warm!) and the kitchen has all you need. The only thing to be mindful of is the transport - it's doable without having a car but it did involve some long walks and several taxi rides.

Has everything you need, and was very tidy. Jessica is nice and replies very fast, no problems at all! Cannot wait to book her little cottage again 😊

  • The house is much bigger than I appreciated from the photos, very spacious for me and 2 kids: big hall, roomy upstairs, dining kitchen and fab living room with the views. Storm weather didn’t affect us in the house (other than making the stunning views a bit moody). There’s great access nearby (through a tunnel) to the river Garry, ruined castle (Torcastle) and great cycle path along the canal. Lovely rural setting, but lots of local activities and amenities in Banavie and Fort William.

  • A cosy self-catering cottage in Spean Bridge. We were unable to meet Nathan and Aileen but communication was great. Check in was easy and there were thoughtful touches in the cottage, like milk and muffins left for us.

  • A cosy, beautiful little cottage - highly recommend for amazing views, lots of outdoor activities and very close to Fort William. The cottage itself was perfect, beautifully furnished with a lovely fireplace and yummy breakfast goodies. Highly recommend Nathan and Aileen’s place!

  • Lovely wee cottage not far from Fort William! The cottage is stunning and so cosy. Access was so easy and we were soon greeted by Nathan, he provided us with milk and pain au chocolate among other things. The amenities within the cottage are great, there’s a kitchen area with toaster, kettle and washing machine. Everything is provided for cleaning and washing. The bed upstairs was so comfy as was the sofa bed. The hosts were very nice and easily reachable. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be staying again!

    Roisin2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • 5 ⭐️’s and as described in the advert. Small things like having a cafetière and plenty of wood and kindling for the wood-burner make all the difference. Incredibly friendly welcome by Nathan, who then kindly popped back round with a couple of guidebooks based on what we said we were planning on doing in the area. Their communication in the lead-up and throughout was fantastically quick. Comfy bed and very clean facilities. Truly excellent base from which to explore the Highlands and, had their been any snow, for access to the nearby Ben Nevis ski lifts.

    Tom2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely perfect place for a couple to stay in the area for a week or so. Nathan and Aileen are very welcoming hosts, and the space has been created with care and thoughtfulness. The location is also spot on for exploring the Lochaber region, and the Cairngorms are within a reasonable distance too. Very highly recommended.

  • Good price, great location - do NOT follow your Sat Nav/Google Maps, it sends you to the other side of the river! The host Jeanette was very accommodating with our late check in, she was very friendly and helped with directions when we got lost on the way. The actual property is clean, functional and cozy. There is a nice area outside for eating and relaxing, which unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy due to weather, but it looked lovely. Plenty of parking space also as they have a private drive. All round great place with a brilliant host.

  • Although the property is not in the town centre, it is only a 20-minute drive to Fort William. The night is extra quiet. The landlord prepared the breakfast food such as bread, milk, juice and cereal in the cottage very conveniently. The interior of the entire house is very warm and makes people feel at home. The landlord was very enthusiastic and carefully told me how to get to the house and how to use the equipment in the house. Thanks for letting our family of four have a good night.

  • My husband and i stayed at Caleys Cottage for new year, with out dohs and friend. This is a gem of a cottage and I cant wait to visit again. It has most things you need for a self catering cottage, added bonus of a large fridge and freezer. the fire is perfectly placed and easy to work. However the best thing about this cottage is it location, it is perfect for seeing fortwilliam and the surrounding areas as well as litrally being a hop skip and a jump form the great glen way, I enjoy early morning runs down to Neptune stair case running back watching the Nevis range come to life as the sun climbed behind it. However it's also secluded with just a few cottages around we hardly saw a soul, it was quiet and peaceful. There is a fantastic fast 4g wifi, and everything you could want to access on a rainy day on the TV from Netflix to Amazon prime. We has our dogs with us, and they loved the cosy fire and the amazing walks. The cottage is small but perfect all you really need for a relaxing trip to Fortwilliam

    Jan Marie2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great little cottage, well-presented and full of nice little touches that made our stay enjoyable. The log burner that kept us warm every evening was definitely the highlight. The place was easy to find following Ashlie and Grant’s directions and communication with them was very efficient. No negatives whatsoever. Perfect place to explore the area from.

Approximately 3 miles from Fort William set on The Great Glen Way by the Caledonian Canal. Uninterrupted views of Ben Nevis. Private, quiet space, on a family croft. The price is for the use of up to 4 people in one party and will not be let to separate parties at the same time. There is a minimum of 7 nights booking from May to mid September. The post code on site is incorrect. PH33 7PB is the correct one. Tigh Mo Mhiann, 48 Banavie is the address The caravan has its own wifi.
Quiet, safe, private and amazing view
  • The caravan is perfectly located. You feel like you're in the middle of the countryside with farms all around. You have a perfect unobstructed view of Ben Nevis from the lounge. But you're also about 10-15 minutes from Fort William and Glen Nevis by car. You're a 5 minute walk to the Caledonian Canal and Great Glen Way. Morag as well is so lovely. We had our infant daughter with us and didn't pack super well for the weather. It got really cold one night, so Morag nipped into town to get us an electric radiator so our daughter would be warm at night. Can definitely recommend this.

  • We spent a week in a caravan with a breathtaking view of Ben Nevis, in a calm place, surrounded by nature - we appreciated this a lot. We had everything we needed in the caravan and felt comfortable there. It was a great base for taking trips. I wish I could go back there again :-)

    Ivana2019-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • Morag is very friendly, nice, and responsive. The caravan has a very nice view of the Ben and it is located in a quiet and serene place, away from all the hustles in Fort William, but at the same time, is close to it too. Feels like you have your own tiny little peaceful bubble. She has toughtful touches like bread, breakfast, milk, tea, juice, and she will ask you what you need prior to arriving. The caravan is very cosy and is a nice base for exploring the Highlands up to the Isle of Skye which we did. May get cold during the night but there are adequate duvets and blankets. Might be quite small for a big family but who will stay in a caravan for a whole day anyway? Explore the Highlands! 😊 Will definitely recommend staying at Morag's place.

    Merry2019-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in Morag's caravan. It's basic but very comfy had what we needed. It was a great base to return to each afternoon after a day out walking. The outdoor space was really appreciated by the children, as they had somewhere safe to kick a ball around and play.

    Mary2018-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • The caravan was a great home for our trip in Scotland. It's well situated, as we were able to go to the isles of Skye and Mull, the Lost Valley, the Loch Ness and so many places that deserve to be seen. The caravan was bigger than expected, especially the living room. By the way, the view was wonderful. Morag came to meet us at the beginning of our stay. She was very kind and gave us plenty of good advice. We thank her again !

The caravan is comfortable and bright. The twin rooms are small, cabin type rooms. The toilet is separate from the shower room. The caravan has its own wifi. There is parking to be shared with the other caravan which sits in the same garden space. It is on a croft which is a Highland small-holding of about 20 rough acres. It's 4 miles from Fort William. The caravan is only available for a minimum of 7 nights from May to mid September, but otherwise is available for a minimum of 2 nights.
  • We felt very comfortable in Morag's Caravan, everything was fine. However, if you mind if the shower mixer constantly between hot (and hot is really hot!) Changes while you hit your head on the ceiling and the shower head a more often times jumps you neither in Morag nor in England properly repealed , otherwise the 4-room apartment was perfect for us (2 adults with a dog).

  • Really nice place, bigger than I thought in a very calm neighborhood. There are nice walks around and it's close to the big city by car too. Everything was clean and working... overall very satisfied :)

  • Absolutely perfect! This tiny house is nicely furnished and sparkling clean, the bed is super comfortable. It‘s in a quiet area, all one can hear are the birds singing in the morning. It’s got a kitchen but there’s no stove so I’d recommend to try the old station restaurant right next door. We had a great stay and would have loved to stay a couple more nights!

  • This is such a lovely place to stay! The pod is in a quiet location and beautifully furnished, with a basket of treats waiting on arrival. It’s a perfect size for a solo traveller or couple. It’s in a great location for visiting Ben Nevis and surrounds. A useful folder of leaflets for local attractions was also provided in the pod. I would definitely stay here again.

  • The pod is super cosy and stylish. We loved it. The bed is comfortable, the sofa is ok. We would definitely recommend it.

  • Little house with everything you need despite the limited space. Very comfortable bed. Perfect location for visiting the area. Thanks for everything!

  • Had such a great stay! Between Catherine & the locals hospitality & the beautiful landscape our stay in the highlands was absolutely fantastic! We can’t wait to come back here again!

    Jessielynne2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • I would recommend it.

    Marina2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great little cozy pod. Super clean and had everything you needed. The host were lovely and very helpful.

    Phoenix2019-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful place to stay. The location is fantastic and the pod was clean, tidy and very stylish. The bed is very comfy and the curtains shut out all the light at night time so you don’t have to worry about being woken up by the early sun! Wouldn’t recommend for more than two people as space was just enough to be comfortable with two of us. On the whole a lovely, safe place to stay that I would recommend to anyone.

  • I enjoyed staying at Graeme's place. It's a bit rustic as it was meant for hikers and water sports. It's in a beautiful location. Graeme was extremely helpful in explaining the setup of his place and also places to visit on our drive to our next visit. Also a very nice place to meet people due to a community kitchen with great amenities and a communal dining area.

  • Graeme's lodge has such amazing views from every angle, location was easily accessible by car, our room was ensuite, the kitchen was well equipped to cook simple meals, equally the main town Fort William was only a few minutes drive away with restaurants and a big Morrisons. Would definitely stay again

  • Graeme’s place was absolutely fabulous - a little slice of heaven out in the highlands. Couldn’t recommend it enough! Make sure you read his directions carefully though, as this lochside chateau is a bit tricky to find (but worth it in the end!)
