This camper was the perfect little getaway. When I arrived I realized I had forgotten a lot of the camping essentials. It wasn’t a problem though because the hosts covered all those little details for us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful morning sunrise over the lake! Very clean and comfortable and easy -- even though I made my reservation less than 24 hours before arrival -- and this was a perfect location for where I needed to be the next morning. I'm very grateful! It did seem a little a pricey for what it was, especially on a weeknight, post-Labor Day. But overall, I left quite satisfied. Cheers!

Ambria’s place was great! It was easy to find, very clean, and comfortable. We had three people and we were very happy with the accommodations. The location was great and it allowed us to explore Traverse City, Elk Rapids, and Petoskey. We highly recommend Ambria’s.

Ambria was super accommodating! We loved taking the kayaks out on the lake and the RV was perfect for our family! We highly recommend! The location is convenient to many fun things to do!

Ambria’s place is great. If you are looking for a place that is quiet and comfortable, this is your spot. Situated in a wooded plot, the camper is separated from the house and backyard by a privacy creating strip of trees that gives you a great setting. Inside, the camper is roomy enough to relax and sit. The couch pulls out and inflates into a super comfy air bed. The bed room has a bed that was comfortable as well. Everything was clean, well-kept, and nice. You can make and eat breakfast at the table. There are pots and pans and lots of things provided. If you forget anything or need supplies, there is a grocery store and family dollar a half mile away. Right next to the lake, there are restaurants and a little store that has necessities and party supplies. Convenient. (Btw...Fife Lake Inn has awesome steak, pizza, and salad bar...) Outside, there is a fire pit that is great for s’mores and hanging out. Ambria has been thoughtful to provide a hammock and stand for relaxing and picnic table to enjoy the outdoors. There is a lovely little deck under the camper awning where you can relax as well. Fife Lake has awesome fishing. We brought a little boat and had a great time puttering around and playing in the lake. We have friends at Torch Lake and wanted to visit them so found Ambria’s by chance. The location Ambria’s place is great! About 30 minutes to Torch Lake, 30 minutes to Traverse City! We drove to Glen Arbor and Glen Haven to see Sleeping Bear Dunes and it was an easy drive. I have nothing but good things to say. My daughter’s favorite part that she wants me to comment on is the little outdoor cat named MeeMaow that came to visit us outside every day. She didn’t hang around all the time but allowed my 6 year old to hold and pet her and followed her like a puppy. I’m pretty sure that my daughter is going to ask to come back to visit just for that reason...

We so enjoyed staying here! It was like camping, but so much better. I loved the hammock. Thank you Ambria for being such a gracious and thoughtful host. I would definitely stay here again.

You can expect a homey RV with a great view! Everything you need for a weekend away! Also a cute friendly cat who wonders the property.

Was a beautiful spot on the lake. The view out of the kitchen during my morning coffee was awesome. Definitely going to come back in the summer.

Our stay at the Pickeral Palace was amazing to say the least. Gordon was very communicative and helpful long before we even arrived with directions and tips for the weather and vehicle rental option we might need. The photos don't really do this cabin justice. The space was a perfect mix of cabin and chic and had everything we needed besides food and drinks which we got from the local Fife Lake Village grocery store a little over a mile away! Inside was very tidy and there were plenty of family fun games, puzzles and even a few DVDs and CDs for winding down in the evenings. NO WIFI which was a HUGE plus for our unplugged family vacay. There is a large gas furnace in the kitchen area and floorboard heat and thermostats throughout the rest of the cabin. The kitchen had all of the cooking supplies you would need including pots, pans, cups, plates, cutlery and even a coffee maker, toaster, tupperware and microwave. Outside there is a cozy screened in porch area (and large deck as well) with a stand up propane heater for staying a little warmer while watching the kids play in the snow and a charcoal grill with supplies for use if need be (our steaks were yummy). Overall 10/10 rating, we will be back to enjoy some summer fun!

We went to the cabin to celebrate the new year and our spend time winding down from the holidays. The cabin was lovely, clean, and well appointed. We spent the weekend cooking and Gordon was kind enough to bring us a bundt pan. We loved the location and look forward to going back.

This lake cottage was adorable, extremely clean, well decorated and the hosts are very kind and welcoming! There's a gorgeous view of mirror lake from the living room window. The hosts provided above and beyond amenities including kayaks and campfire starter supplies. The setting was quiet and secluded, perfect place to catch up on some R&R!

This is our second time at Dave and Colleen’s. It is a perfect location for water fun and for seeing Traverse City and the surrounding areas. We love the little lake right outside the cabin as well as Fife Lake nearby. It’s a great cabin with everything you could need and Dave and Colleen are great hosts. We will definitely return.

This cottage is a true gem. Everything is clean, updated, and immaculate. Dave and Colleen have thought of every detail! We loved staying here and would stay here again. The location is just perfect and a great place to relax and recharge. I highly recommend staying here!

Dave and Colleen’s place was great! Everything was modern and it was in a cute neighborhood. We spent the majority of our time in TC/Sutton’s Bay, but the drive wasn’t bad and downtown Fife Lake was a nice area to walk around with a cute breakfast spot.

This vacation exceeded my expectations. Dave and Colleen are more than super host, they are genuine great people. If you are considering the Traverse City area for vacation this place is the BEST place to stay. The house is completely updated with new appliances and has all the little household items to help you enjoy your vacation. We grilled on the gas grill twice and enjoyed our meals with the great view of mirror lake. Thank you Dave and Colleen for the best rental I have ever stayed at!!!

High quality! Worthy of a 5 star hotel! Great view and a fishing just a walk away. Truly peaceful space. Hosts were friendly and helpful. This is very much a diamond in the rough!!!! Cottage was super cute. Perfect location for a girls weekend. 20 mins from Traverse City, the town was really cute too. Pizza was amazing! And the local diner for breakfast that was recommended was great, too.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a quite comfortable space to relax. The fall colors were beautiful around us, and there was even a bonfire pit and seating in front of the house, which was a nice touch. Ellen was very kind and helpful, and met us when we arrived to show us the house and let us know where we can find anything. Very quick to respond to text when we had a question, and accommodating to letting us stay a little longer to finish getting ready. Would definitely recommend!

Ellens place is perfect, little cozy home in the middle of the woods away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything you need is in the house. We were very happy with our stay and hope to come back for a longer one!

Ellen is a nice hostess. The tiny house was clean and she warmed it up for us since it was a chilly day when we arrived. We appreciated the magazines about the area and the maps. We were able to relax by a fire after spending a full day exploring. The area is peaceful and short drive to Traverse City.

This Country home is awesome for those who snowmobile or fish. Great location easy to find, Cecil is a wonderful host!! The home was clean and neat with plenty of parking for our group, Close enough to TC and Cadillac yet a wonderful country setting..Snowmobile trails were close by .The Host was more than helpful when we had a problem with our snowmobile trailer. Cecil found us a A guy that did welding on a Saturday night after 5pm !! Thanks Cecil for all of the hospitality and hopefully we see you again before the snow melts!!

Perfect spot for a weekend ski getaway. It was great to be close to, but outside of Traverse City. Beautiful and quiet location. Cecil was a great host, meeting us when we checked in and even leaving milk and cereal for us!

As advertised - cozy farmhouse close to Traverse City and Interlochen. Everything was clean and in good working order. Cecil's communication was always prompt and friendly. Plenty of room for a couple or small family.

A very comfortable cottage in a lovely location. Our stay for Thanksgiving was thoroughly enjoyable. The cottage is on a small, quiet, pretty lake (no motor boats allowed) and, although cottages line most of the waterfront, our five days were very peaceful indeed. The sandy, narrow lot slopes gently down to the water, where a paddle boat and a shed with fishing tackle are located (the lake had a thin layer of ice in late November, so we could not fish or boat, but both would be very inviting in warm weather, and ice fishing must be fun later in the winter). There is a fire ring halfway to the water, which enabled us to enjoy several bonfires over our stay. The open-plan living space downstairs in the cottage itself is larger and brighter than the photographs suggest, with plenty of room to relax, work (if you must), and dine -- the dining table will seat six adults comfortably. The kitchen is roomy and very well equipped, and, although the stove, which runs on propane, does make for rather slow cooking, we managed to cook a fairly elaborate Thanksgiving dinner with very few problems (although the oven only has one rack, so renters planning to roast several dishes simultaneously should bring extra standard-size oven racks). The kitchen bar was very convenient for serving dinner and was also a nice place to sit with a beverage and talk to the cook. The view of the lake from the kitchen and the living area windows (as from one of the two bedrooms upstairs) was a constant source of pleasure. The two bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom spacious and pleasant, with a washing machine and a dryer. We had planned to travel with all three of our sons, our oldest son’s partner, and our grandson; in the end, our oldest son and his family were detained at home by work, so there were just four of us, which made the cottage feel spacious; six adults and an infant (there is a high chair at the cottage) might have made things feel a little cramped, but we would certainly have managed, making use of the air mattress. There is no WiFi at the cottage, but Verizon data reception was excellent, meaning that we could use the internet and hook up devices to the flat-screen TV, using our mobile phones. Those internet connections were adequate -- my wife and I watched Netflix one night without much trouble -- but the inevitable buffering was frustrating when we watched a live Champions’ League match, and the lack of normal WiFi was a source of frustration to our sons; I found that my Verizon Hotspot provided only an intermittent internet connection for my laptop. The lot on which the cottage is located is very sandy, so we found ourselves sweeping the floor regularly and, even in late November, opening one of the big garage doors every now and then to sweep out that sand, but, for us, that just added to the “cottage feel” of our stay. We worried that those doors would make the downstairs drafty, but the seal is good and the cottage is very well heated. We had a couple of simple questions while we were at the cottage; Jason and Theresa answered them almost immediately, even though it was Thanksgiving. Traverse City with all of its attractions is just a short drive away; we drove to the tip of the Old Mission Peninsula for a visit to 2 Lads Winery (warmly recommended) in fifty minutes; nearby Kalkaska and Fife Lake (both former lumber towns, each about fifteen minutes’ drive away -- the latter now a very pleasant, small resort) have decent, small supermarkets. State forest surrounds the area where the cottage is located (our twenty-year-old son kept dreaming of his crossbow...); forest roads abound, with the North Country Trail passing nearby. The area is quiet and attractive, but easily accessed and close to lots of busier centers for recreation. We would be very happy to rent the cottage again and would like to spend some time there in the warmer months. Overall, an excellent choice for us.

Jason's place is a cozy place to get away and relax.

Very relaxing cabin on the lake. We fished, kayaked and had a fire. Everything we needed was provided as this is Jason’s place with all of his belongings (utensils, poles, boat, grill, games, etc). The cabin is a good 40-45 min from Traverse City which was okay for us but we thought it was closer. It was nice to be in a remote location on a fairly quiet lake. We spent only one day in Traverse City doing Paddle for Pints and preferred cabin life. Would visit again!

This is my second time staying with Katy and Dennis, and I stayed for three nights in a row. I wanted a peaceful TC vacation and that's exactly what I got! Katy and Dennis are so hospitable and kind, and their pets are amazing and so sweet. My favorite parts of the day were often comign home early (lol like 9pm) and putting on my PJs and fuzzy socks and drinking tea with Katy in the main room while she worked on her things and I wrote in my journal. I loved conversations with Dennis over beer or coffee, and of course their property is amazing. I LOVE staying here and will certainly be back! This is one of my favorite AirBnB spots of all the ones I've ever been at, and Katy and Dennis and Ginny and Lacey are a big part of why that is!

They welcomed us into their simple, quiet home on a beautiful property that is thick with nature. Would recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area for some outdoor adventure and if you’re mostly cool with bugs.

Ellen and Larry are the most wonderful hosts and people. As many said, the photos don’t do this place justice! It’s little bit rural but my wife and I loved that. Every night was complete silence and don’t think I’ve slept better in months. I would stay here all the time if I could.

Super spacious space, super clean, a little out of the way, but still very close to numerous places to visit. The apartment was a perfect space for us to spend the weekend. The pictures don't do it justice. There is so much space with all amenities and we loved playing darts and shooting pool in the evening. My son and I were only in town for the weekend for his soccer tournament so we didn't get enough time to explore Traverse City but Ellen was very knowledgeable about the area and was willing to offer advice. I much prefer the quiet backwoods feel of this location to the hustle and bustle of a tourist hotel. With a deck to relax on or the bonfire pit to sit and share stories and great weather this location has it all. You can't ask for a better host and there was nothing we needed that wasn't available. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Traverse area and the value can't be beat! 5 stars!

My husband and I had a great time at Ellen's place. The cabin was very large and had all the amenities-- kitchen, washer/dryer, DVD selection which we utilized. There is also a nice firepit and great pool table, the setting is very peaceful. We would return!

Great place to stay if you want to have peace and quiet. No wifi and no cell signal lets you spend quality time with your family. Close to Traverse City and other touristy cities. Would definitely go back.

Petoskey's cabin is very nicely located by the water. He was very responsive when we were trying to find the cabin upon arrival. Be aware that there is no reception (Verizon, ATT and T mobil all failed) so take screenshots of instructions before getting to the general area. Lots of towels, pots and pans and kitchenware are available as stated in the listing and check-in instructions. As mentioned in the instructions, there are no paper towels, so bring yours. Not sure if it is always the case, but it was nice that there was charcoal for the grill and plenty of firewood for the fire pit!

Very accommodating even for a last minute reservation. Practically everything was provided for at the cabin. The only thing we could even think of that was missing was a set of bbq tongs for the charcoal grill.

Great, quiet location. Fife lake is a nice little town nearby, check out the Loon for breakfast and get the country fried steak! Road and boat access were very convenient, the cabin itself is very comfy, clean, and is just very pleasant to be around. Tons of plates, cutlery, etc. included, and about 5 miles from a decently stocked grocery store. Bring some bug spray, it is in the woods. Be aware, cellular signal might be spotty, but I felt it was actually a bit of a positive to get disconnected for a change. For the price, this cabin is fantastic and I highly recommend it. If you’re looking for a nice, laid-back place in the woods for a relaxing getaway, look no further.

This is a great little log cabin. Very cozy. We had 7 in our group and it was a little crowded at times, but this momma liked having all her chicks together! Pros: It was very clean, beds were comfortable, washer and dryer were great. Restaurants, a Family Dollar, a local grocery store and a small hardware store were all within about 8 miles from the cabin. We were able to squeeze a couple campfires in between raindrops. Fishing was good at nearby lakes. Cons:There is basically no cell service and no wifi at the cabin, no dishwasher and it was a bit musty. All and all, we enjoyed our stay!

I honestly can’t say enough about this stay. Nancee and Jeff are amazing hosts. Patient, attentive, kind , quick to reply-basically everything you want of a host and more. The space is amazing too and your hosts will always be ready for good local recommendations. We use Airbnb much, but this was our best stay without question. (She has a tree and lights set up when we got there with a box of decorations-ARE YOU KIDDING!)

This beautiful home was the perfect retreat to celebrate our 19 year anniversary. The house and property are so peaceful and serene. We loved the views from the windows and patio doors. It’s right on the water and has a fire pit and paddle boat to enjoy (it was too cold for our visit). The house was very clean and had a full kitchen to make some meals. I loved the tub and shower! Nancee was easy to communicate with. This location was perfect for anyone wanting to visit traverse city, which is maybe 30 minutes away and it’s the perfect scenic drive. There are some restaurants close to this AirBNB. We enjoyed breakfast at Yankee Boys.

Absolutely beautiful place, was much larger and nicer than I expected! Very nice and full size kitchen and bathrooms, and there is definitely room for an air mattress if you happened to want more than two bedrooms. Very charming log cabin style inside, highly recommend!

Nancee’s beautiful cabin was a perfect spot for our weekend in northern Michigan. It is very spacious - tons of room for our four-person group - and decorated beautifully, with lots of great amenities (bird book, binoculars, an excellently appointed kitchen, dishwasher etc!). The deck, with its great view of the pond, was a perfect place for sundowners. We didn’t meet Nancee due to our busy weekend schedule but she was a great host - communication throughout was fantastic and we felt very welcome. Our only regret was that we were so busy exploring the lakeshore (Traverse City is an easy and scenic half hour drive away) that we didn’t get to spend enough time enjoying the cabin and the pond. We’ll have to return!

Expect a completely furnished lodge which is very clean and has beautiful wood walls, ceilings and floors. All appliances and systems worked well and everything seemed new.

Camp Brody is a perfect getaway for anyone looking for that up north cabin experience. We went for a mountain biking trip, and wanted a location where we could ride to and from the massive amounts of singletrack nearby. The location is fantastic for those who like to be outside, whether it's hanging out, or being really active. For those coming from the south, definitely follow Deb's instructions on getting there. There are some typical Michigan seasonal roads that can get you there, but they'll be challenging for anyone not in at least a little suv/awd wagon. Highly recommend the spot, and would definitely return again!

My partner and I stayed at the cabin for two nights for our first time in Traverse City. The home was lovely and sparkling clean! The location was secluded and private but close enough for trips to Sleeping Bear and downtown Traverse City. The outdoor spaces of the home were wonderful and everything was well maintained. We loved the fireplace and lookout tower!

A great cozy cabin right on the lake! It was just enough space for myself and a group of friends for a weekend away in the woods. We appreciated the great touches of hospitality throughout the house and the updated amenities. We're looking forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the summer activities in the area. The only tricky part was trying to find transport into Traverse City for dinner-- uber and Lyft don't regularly drive out there, so just something to keep in mind.

So cute! Really tucked in the woods with a great view and cozy/comfortable feel inside. We stayed in Nov. and would love to come back and see what it's like in the summer months (we want to use that deck!). The kids liked their separate rooms and we liked feeling like we really "got away" but were so close to Traverse City. Loved the little touches in decorating, especially the sign in the kitchen that says "I love you more than all of the cherries in Traverse City."

The otter inn is a fantastic place to stay. Jayne and Chuck are great hosts. The property is great for families, our kids had a great time. The house was immaculately clean. A fantastic game room when you are done outside. We will be coming back.

The "Otter Inn” was an incredibly cozy and incredibly cute space for our annual fall getaway up north! We especially enjoyed sitting and sipping our coffee on the porch swing in front of the winding river going around the forested property. Jayne was very thoughtful, friendly, and especially helpful in helping us find yummy vegan options for dining in Traverse city!

We loved our stay at the Otter Inn! Such a clean and stylish home. Great amenities and kid friendly! Jayne was very accessible through text to help with what we needed. Just wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the area. It was quite rainy while we were there, but we still had fun. Make sure to use google maps to get you there, no GPS, it is more accurate.

What an amazing place to stay! From our first inquiry to the time we left, Jayne was prompt, concise and thorough with all our communications. When we arrived she was kind enough to show us around the property and she and Chuck gave us helpful info on places we planned to visit while in the area. Excellent recommendation on food and where might be best to start a hike we were wanting to do. The property itself is off the beaten path but an easy drive to Traverse City and the cities along Lake MI shore. Our only regret about our time here was that we didn't plan to stay longer and spend more time enjoying Chuck and Jayne's property and game room. Our four boys ages 12-16 had plenty to keep them occupied which isn't always an easy task. They floated in the river, explored the wooded paths, played basketball and cornhole. We also enjoyed puzzles, ping pong, games, books and a Sat night football game indoors. The starry skies were unbelievably bright and the quietness as we sat on the back deck was almost surreal. Can't forget to mention the fire pit we enjoyed sitting around as a family. As many of the other reviewers mentioned, Jayne and Chuck have thought of everything and included so many little touches that were a fun and pleasant surprise to each member of our family (fire staters, kindling, wood and lighters, s'mores kit, well-stocked kitchen and basic cooking items, and more). Hospitality like this is truly a gift! We highly recommend Otter Inn to anyone heading this way.

Absolutely loved the Otter Inn and will be coming back for sure. This was our very first time staying at an Airbnb and this place more than exceeded our expectations. Everything about our stay was perfect.

It was perfect! Very clean and well kept, and was very toddler-friendly. We felt right at home!

Highly recommend this place! It sits right next to the lake with an amazing view. We also are allowed to use the kayaks which were quite neat. The cabin was clean, spacious and with plenty of kitchen supplies. Very clean and comfortable lakeside cabin. We enjoyed beautiful views of the full moon over the snowy lake! If you come in winter, be ready to manage the private road in the snow.

As clean as the other reviews say. Great winter stay and I would assume an even better summer spot. Tom and his father really were quite attentive to our needs and without asking came out to snowblow a few times over the 2 nights we were there. A well deserved superhost title.

We were so impressed with Christine’s place - she truly thought of everything! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, silverware, kitchen towels and utensils- more than I have at home. There were snacks and breakfast items - a true bed and breakfast. We had a 5 and 10 year old with us, and they were delighted by the toy room, plus games and movies. Since we came in the winter, it really helped keep them occupied when we might normally send them outside. The couches and beds were comfortable, and we were warm and cozy from the cold outside. When it snowed, the stairs and a path were shoveled each morning! Christine’s son even came out to help me scrape my car and make sure I made it out okay. They were very responsive to messages and helpful with directions. Easily my favorite AirBNB experience. I highly recommend this place!

Christine’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway to Traverse City! From the beginning, Christine was responsive and provided great info and tips for traveling before the trip, and she was flexible on check-in and check-out times. The apartment itself was clean, and stocked with all the necessities, plus snacks and breakfast supplies. Christine was also one of the most generous and thoughtful hosts I’ve encountered! We mentioned we were coming to TC to celebrate our anniversary, and she left roses, chocolates, and a card for us on check-in, and more goodies at check-out. The location itself is an easy 25 minute drive from downtown TC, and offered a quiet space to relax.

This little apartment was perfect. We were in Traverse City for a girls weekend. We made meals, relaxed, slept in comfortable beds and enjoyed the amenities. Fresh peaches, chocolate and breakfast fixings were provded. Coffee was also provided. This was my introduction to airbnb. It was a great experience!

We had a great stay here! Everything was clean and comfortable. The price was good for being about 25 minutes away from downtown Traverse City.

The scenery is beautiful. There were so many things that we could do - paddle boat, kayak, have a fire, play games.

Loved the private cove. Enjoyed coffee on the dock every morning, drinks at night, and a camp fire to top it off. We enjoy cooking and grilling and the house was very well stocked. Had a wonderful visit.

Toby’s place is absolutely amazing. It is very spacious, clean, and lots of things to do around. The lake is very nice. We had a lot of fun using kayaks, canoe, and the boat. We had a great time staying there. I highly recommend his place.

We had a wonderful summer vacation in this space! The house/kitchen are very well stocked and in a great location. You can’t swim right off the dock but great swimming and fun is just a short paddle away to party island. We enjoyed exploring spider lake on the kayaks. The host is super friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this place!

This was a great place to stop on our road trip around Michigan. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, silverware, etc. The TV had a good selection of channels. The best part of the place is the outdoor space- there is a fire pit in the backyard, paddle boat to use and a pontoon boat and kayaks to rent! Angela was an awesome host and was very responsive.

Enjoyed our stay on Rennie Lake! Nice deck off the cottage and an additional deck overlooking the water. The beach was sandy. Small but very clean and just the right size for us!

Great cabin on a very peaceful lake. Wife and I had a great week staying here while exploring Traverse City and the surrounding areas. We didn't spend much time at the cabin during the day due to all of the activities we had planned, but would not have had a problem just sitting on the back porch for hours on end. This was a wonderful cabin to use as a home base for our trip. Highly recommend for staying in TC while wanting to stay outside of town.

We had a great time at the house. The lake is beautiful and very quiet. We enjoyed exploring the lake on the kayaks and swimming at the little beach area. The house was clean, comfortable and had all basic necessities, but you should plan to bring a lot of your own supplies (towels, TP, salt and pepper, spices, cooking oil) etc. The general area is quiet and feels very "up north" but you're only 15 minutes to downtown TC. I would definitely recommend this place!

We stayed at Angela’s cottage for MDW with four adults and three small dogs and it was the perfect size for us considering we were out of the house exploring most of each day. The mornings and evenings enjoying a meal or drink on the back deck or out by the fire pit was perfect. We will definitely be making a trip back up to the Traverse City area and would consider staying here again for sure.

We were very happy with our stay at Angela's place. The house was clean and was exactly what we expected based on the pictures. The firepit and lake area were relaxing and we enjoyed our evenings at the cabin. Angela was responsive to our questions and suggestions of things to do in the area. I would recommend this house for a nice family vacation.

Spectacular view of Spider Lake. 2 great swings to utilize. Nice full sized deck for all cabins to share. Patio furniture & grill outside (even though we didn't use as we were on the go). The inside was very homey. Comfortable beds, tv's in every room, heater worked well, great kitchen with all the appliances needed. My first trip to Michigan did not disappoint. I would look to reserve this cabin again.

We loved staying at the cabin on Spider Lake and we are now putting it on our annual trip list to come back and visit. The colors this time of year are worth every penny. We had such a great stay at Don & Cindy’s. Definitely loved the easy check in and stay process! We truly felt like we were on vacation and didn’t have to worry about anything. Thank you for being such great hosts. My mom and I can’t wait to come back again.

Myself and seven long time friends had an amazing fall ladies weekend at spider lake! The community of cabins is so cute and quaint. Very comfy beds, great views of the water, and not a far drive from T.C., everything you could ever want from a cozy up north cabin! Don and Cindy were so accommodating and very easy to communicate with. Thank you for everything!

Nice house and location for families with little ones. The lake was clean with a sandy bottom. Also close enough to Traverse City for eating out and shopping. We all thought the kitchen and familyroom and location were the highlights. There were 2 tvs but only 1 worked. Really no one wanted to watch much television anyway.

This was a great house for our family vacation, and was in a perfect location in Traverse City.

Lovely location. The lake is as beautiful as the home. We felt drawn to stay around the house more than we might typically do, because it was so lovely. The location is close enough to Traverse City to enjoy but far enough away to get the peace of up north. We used the row boat for fishing adventures that landed us several big large mouth bass as eagles flew overhead.

A beautiful location. The photos represented the house well. The house was roomy, providing both privacy and large common spaces. It was not too far from Traverse City, so going into town was still an option. The house was well equipped with games, movies, kayaks and more. I would definitely go back again.

We came to camp for my boyfriends birthday & Dennis was so kind & the place was just lovely. It is super cute , and we were provided with wood , matches, water, advice / directions, and more. He went above and beyond & we really enjoyed our time there. He also makes amazing home made healthy food bars that I plan to get more of :) We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time staying at Brenden home. The home was clean and comfortable. There is plenty of room for multiple families to stay and sleep comfortably. The views were absolutely gorgeous! We stayed during the winter and got hit with heavy snowfall. The driveway was plowed before we even woke up! Brenden stayed in close communication with us the whole weekend assuring that we were happy with our stay. Would absolutely visit here again!!!!

Brenden is an amazing host! Very accommodating and thoughtful! The house was very clean, well decorated, and fully stocked. The bedroom off the garage (with three beds) doesn't have a bathroom on the same level so plan accordingly. The house has a gorgeous view and is very close to snowmobiling and about 25 minutes to downtown TC.

What a great place to stay in winter! The views are glorious. The place was perfect. An issue arose and the host was on it immediately.

We decided to get a place over Thanksgiving to celebrate my mother-in-law’s big birthday! The house has a great location on a lake and close to Traverse City. The stay was perfect, everyone in our group loved the charm of the house and kept reminding me to save this location. The owners were super easy to get ahold of, provided quick responses, knew the area, and provided us with great tips about the town. We were able to check in and out at a time that suited us because no other guest had booked the house at that time. You never know what kind of cook wear a house will have, we were pleasantly surprised that it had nearly everything we need to have an amazing Thanksgiving dinner!

The cottage was the perfect size for our stay in Traverse City. It was close enough to the downtown and we enjoyed being among nature.

The teacup inn was a great place for us to stay on our long weekend in Travers City. The inn is about 15 min south from Travers City, and was a great home base for our excursions. The inn was in a quiet secluded areas, which we enjoyed. Tracy was a wonderful host and very attentive. She even left us little cheery welcoming snacks. We would consider staying at the teacup inn again given the opportunity.

Tracey is a fantastic and attentive host. The Teacup was charming and absolutely spotless! We needed some extra bedding, but couldn't find it. Tracey immediately sent some over as well as gifts of juice and muffins. She double checked to make sure we had everything to make our stay delightful. I would most definitely recommend this property and it's host!!!
