absolutely LOVED Dorene and John’s getaway cabin! it’s very clean, and has a homey feel. they have anything you would absolutely need including, a bunch of dishes, towels, lots of extra pillows and blankets, and stocked on paper towel and toilet paper. their cabin is peaceful, we didn’t really see any neighbors but the group we did see were very friendly! this place was absolutely gorgeous, i definitely recommend!!

Fantastic host & properties. Well equipped with a lot of amenities. Spacious, luxurious, comfortable condo, with lots of privacy. Very responsive and clear hosts. Looked exactly like the photos. Would definitely come again

We loved the property of this cabin. It was beautiful and well maintained. The river was one of my favorite spots to read or have my morning coffee. There were many perks and amenities to this place that weren't listed online, like hammocks, campfire pokers, blow-dryer, yard games, fire pit, folding chairs, plastic storage containers, etc. And I loved all the buffalo plaid decor all around. The signs and decor were really nice too, So much to look at. My family had plenty of room inside the cabin to sleep and have their own space. There was also lots of outdoor seating and space outside on the property to come together for dinner or games. Nina was very responsive and gave clear instructions for entering and leaving the property. She was polite and made our stay pleasant. We would stay at this property again.

Plenty of activities to keep the kids & adults entertained. The kids said they wanted to stay there for forever & ever. It was magical!! Not to mention that king size bed gave me the best sleep I’ve had postpartum. You couldn’t ask for more :) The cabin was packed with everything you needed & more! Thank you so much !!

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The house is in a quiet area with easy parking and views and an easy walk to the bay. Check-in was simple, with Kate providing great instructions for the keypad to let ourselves in. The house was cozy with all amenities as described, and we felt right at home. All the Traverse City attractions were easy to get to, and Kate provided great recommendations. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay here again.

It was a great cabin with full of things provide to do to spend the days away from home. Enough to do for days we didnt have plans to enjoy some cards around the open fire or enjoy some time in the hot tub, or have a friendly game of corn hole

Beautiful cozy house, very comfortable, especially the beds/pillows. All the amenities were great. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the sauna.

Nice cabin in the woods. Hot tub works but could use a new control panel. Inside is what we expected and more. Comfy beds. two fire pits outside. if you have small kids like us be aware there is a steep drop around one side and partly behind the cabin thats pretty close to fire pit. If i decide to stay near baldwin or go hunting the state game area i will deffinitly be back here. not the cleanist place but for the price im not even gonna conplain. wasnt terrible but could have been dusted and swept up a little more. i just grabbed the broom in the bathroom and used the shark vaccum on arrival and when we left. its not nasty dirty so dont take me the wrong way. for the price conpared to similar cabins and what we got out of it i feel its worth it by a long shot. Shelby has great communication. Thank you!

We loved the cabin. Peaceful and relaxing. Stocked with everything we could have needed, even for our 4 legged friend. Cant wait to come back.

This place was awesome for my partner and our two dogs. We had plans in Traverse City but decided to stay in, cook, and take in the countryside. We definitely want to stay here again. Host was awesome, responsive, and very flexible and accommodating. We would definitely recommend. 10/10

Really enjoyed staying at Aric's place in the woods. Plenty of privacy. The back deck with a built in fireplace was a nice touch. We would stay there again.

Great place to stay for everything Manistee River! Clean, comfortable, quiet and plenty of room to relax. Lesley was great and very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay here with the family! The paddleboat and kayaks were great for the water. We spent most of our time outside on the deck or pier just enjoying the quiet. The large indoor table was great for eating and games, with room for all. Great stay!

The cottage was very quiet and cute. Exactly as described. Very clean and stocked w essentials and food if needed in pantry’s. Beds are very comfortable and the bedding was perfect for a chilly weekend. It had portable fans which is a must for me when I travel. The couches were very cozy and nice for binge watching shows. The location is very private and easy to find. We ordered take out from Bear Lake Inn/Dingmans bar it was fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here. We loved it.

This is my second time staying here and everything was excellent as the first time. Rebecca and Steven were very helpful and friendly. Their cabin and property is fantastic, I love staying here.

This little gem is jam packed with items you might forget...including a first aid kit. Beautiful grounds. The fenced in area was wonderful for our Danish Swedish Farm Dog. Lovely and would definitely come back. By all means you must check out their store, Meauwataka General Store. Thank you for everything. Delightful!

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at the KOTI cabins! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with the host was smooth and prompt, despite the fact that we were booking last minute they were very accommodating. The space was immaculately clean and minimal but tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with ample parking and a short drive from several restaurants (and of course Traverse City)! We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Thank you for such a memorable stay—we will definitely be back during the summertime to enjoy the TART trail!

My husband and I came here for our 20th Anniversary get away. We wanted something small, and private and it was all that and more! From the moment we pulled up, the property was tidy and so was the home. It was small and super cozy which made it very enjoyable. The rooms were just perfect; we appreciated all the attention to detail. The beds/mattresses were very comfortable, the sheets and pillows were of great quality, and so were the blankets! The indoor fireplace was so stinking cute, I loved using it! The kitchen, pantry and bathroom were stocked with all the necessitates and then some. The hot tub was a great touch, it was clean and very enjoyable, especially being outside surrounded by nature. The sound of the river water was also so peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the seating area, that was the ideal way to enjoy a good book. Barb and Art were a pleasure to communicate with. They were quick to respond and that made things go very smoothly. We had an amazing time!
