Places to stay in Drake
One of Estes Park’s most popular vacation rentals, for good reason! This modern studio offers a private deck & great views in a quiet mountain neighborhood near Rocky Mountain National Park (Permit 3281). You will likely encounter herds of elk & deer, and are welcome to enjoy the starry night in the hot tub. A cozy, private space with its own entrance, a luxurious queen bed, sofa bed, & kitchenette. Conveniently located 1/4 mile from Marys Lake, and 4 miles from downtown & the national park
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. This is a gorgeous, modern studio apartment in my home's walkout basement, with amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. As you can see in the photos, there is a front living area and a rear bedroom area, but no door separating them. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! Past reviews have raved about this property: "... the best I've stayed at." "... a surreal environment with beautiful artwork and clean cut simplicity in design" "... a must stay if you are in the area." "... tons of wildlife right out the back door." "... pictures can’t truly describe the view from the deck." "... an incredible value for all it gives. Amazing location and view!" Note that some months of the year I live upstairs, and other months I am gone. When booking, assume I'll be here -- but also understand you'll have your own private studio, kitchenette, bathroom, deck and entrance as shown in the photos. You probably won't see me unless you need me, and I give guests privacy. I figure that's why you're here in the mountains in the first place! Rest is so important after a day hiking around Rocky Mountain National Park! Sleep soundly on a Serta queen mattress and a super comfortable 3-inch memory foam topper. The bed is the third most loved aspect of my unit, aside from the view and hot tub. The front living area has a futon sofa that can be converted to a full size bed, so the unit can accommodate 3 or 4 people. There is an extra per person fee for more than 2 people. There is little better in life than sitting in this cozy space (or on the deck!) after a great day in Rocky Mountain National Park, and watching deer and elk graze nearby. If you're lucky you'll spot the neighborhood bobcat, badger, or raccoon family. This rental is situated a fantastic rural neighborhood on the slopes of Prospect Mountain. The house has unobstructed views because of its elevation. Due to the topography, the house is very isolated and private -- you can't see neighbors and they can't see you. Recurring comments from guests include the great views, the privacy, the deck, the hot tub, the uncluttered and open space, and the fact that you can watch the sun rise over the mountains from bed if you're so inclined. You'll be well equipped to do your own cooking while you visit: the kitchenette features a fridge and freezer, a two burner cooktop, toaster, stainless steel pots/pans, dishes and cutlery, water boiler, and more. Please see the photos for more details. There is no oven. The deck is perfect for lounging and enjoying the view and relaxing. It features two big chaise lounges. The deck's railing has a thick piece of wood on top, and guests often use that as a table top and sit on bar stools and watch the sunset and eat dinner. This unit does not feature a television, but there is speedy WiFi if you want to stream Netflix to your computer or tablet. If you want to fish, Marys Lake is 1/4 mile away. There's even a beach for sunbathing. If you like rock climbing, there are boulders from V0 to V10, trad routes from 5.5 to 5.12, and sport routes from 5.7 to 5.13 on Prospect Mountain, all of which are 15-20 minutes by foot from the front door. There's also a great hiking trail that goes to the top of Prospect Mountain (the trailhead is 5 minutes by foot from the house), and once there you'll have one of the best views of Estes Park around, with a full panorama of the Continental Divide and Estes Valley. The entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is about 7 minutes via car. As you can see in the photos, you do need to walk down several flights of steps to get to the unit. Be prepared for this! Overall, this studio is a great base for outdoor lovers who want peace and quiet and want to experience all the wonders of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountains.
This is a wonderful neighborhood in one of the more rural parts of Estes Park. We are only a few miles from downtown, but things are quiet here! The home is nestled in a huge ravine on the slope of Prospect Mountain, so you can't see the neighbors homes. It feels pretty secluded. You can actually hike out the front door and in about 45 minutes be at the top of Prospect Mountain, which has one of the most incredible views in all of Estes Park! You can see the entire national park and the continental divide in a giant panorama. The home is also about a quarter of a mile from Marys Lake, where you can fish. I love this area and am grateful to live here. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD IN YOUR CAR. Local bears have been known to get a little curious.
  • Very clean, modern studio in the mountains of Estes park. The views are amazing and the hot tub is a great plus. Would recommend to any young couple on a budget.

  • Cozy spot with great views out the windows and from the porch. I needed an economical spot to stay for hiking locally, and Nathan was great, and the space was perfect. Things were getting weird in the world that weekend, and this was a needed oasis.

  • Wow. What can I say if you look at the pictures of the house and the fabulous scenery and not want to vacation there. Mary is truly a super host and she was accommodating to my needs. Her communication is second to none. Please take care of this beautiful place as I will be returning for another visit. So much to do in Estes Park and seeing herds of elk and mule deer was so amazing and magical.

Nothing tops those lovely views of Longs and Meeker just outside, and the elk and mule deer are likely to stop by. Thank you for a wonderful and comfortable stay for our annual Estes trip!

Leam was an amazing host with great communication and wonderful recommendations. The tree house was better than I could imagine. Great craftsmanship and attention to detail. • Staying in the tree house was a very neat and unique experience.

    Barbara2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place was such a treasure! With great views from a tiny treehouse, we were amazed by what Leam’s place offered! He was super cordial upon arrival and made sure to take the time to explain how to navigate the space for functionality and efficiency. He also explained local dining spots and hikes to enhance our stay in Lyons. As for the place, it demonstrated such a unique feel to small house living. Everything had it’s place and function, and it truly was a couple’s paradise. You will not regret staying here!

Come stay in this newly remodeled 3-bedroom riverside cabin 2 blocks from the edge of downtown (STR #6089). Features a hot tub, gazebo and picnic area, and you can literally walk 40 feet from your bedroom to fish. Relax in the hot tub after a long day in the mountains & then enjoy the fireplace in the kitchen/dining area. Relax in a comfy reading chair chair, leather sofa, or giant bean bag. Perfect for couples or groups up to 6. New paint, carpet & 55" TV!
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. This beautiful, cozy cabin is located in the most perfect spot in Estes Park, literally on the edge of the Big Thompson River about a block and a half from the edge of downtown. The cabin features a huge, open living/dining area with lots of sunlight, a private hot tub, a gazebo with a BBQ for outdoor living, and a river with some fishing. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! Past guests have raved about this property: "We loved the hot tub, the stars, and sitting by the river after dark." "Nathan's beautiful cabin along the river was just amazing and we seemed so 'at home' there." "More spacious than it looks in pictures!" "It truly was a home away from home." "The hot tub is world class." "We loved sitting down by the river and grilling dinner each night!" When you're here, you can leave the car behind, avoid the traffic of downtown, and just walk a block and a half to the edge of downtown, where you'll find restaurants, bars and shops. At the same time, it's on a private side road with no traffic, allowing you to have all the benefit of being centrally located without having to deal with the congestion. Additionally, the National Park entrance is a quick 5 minute drive from the front door. This unit is meant for people seeking peace and tranquility; it is absolutely not a party house at all. Water Dance (the cabin’s name) is tastefully decorated with mountain and cabin-themed decor, complete with beautiful handmade Amish furniture. BEDROOMS This home has 3 separate bedrooms with 4 beds in total. Bedroom 1 - The master suite features a gorgeous, hand-made log bed with an Olympic queen mattress and private bathroom. Bedroom 2 - A queen bedroom with a slider door opening out toward the river. I love sleeping here on warm summer nights to hear the sounds of the river through the screen door. Bedroom 3 - Perfect for kids, featuring two twin beds. ★★★★★ PLEASE NOTE: The master bath has a tub but no shower ★★★★★ The kitchen is fully equipped with a blender, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, pots and pans, cutlery, silverware, baking supplies, and all the gadgets and utensils you can imagine. There's a great breakfast bar and a kitchen table. The open living space also features a huge couch you can sink into, as well as additional seating, all centered around a cozy gas fireplace. There's fast WiFi as well as a 55-inch 4K flat panel television in the living room with Sling, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and a host of other streaming television services. You can watch sports, news and movies to your heart's content. The outside area is shaded thanks to tons of mature trees. You will likely see deer or elk grazing on the grass. When summer arrives, all the plant foliage will grow thick, and you'll hear the leaves rustling all day in harmony with the breeze. Many of the town's top restaurants and attractions are all within a short walk: the Estes Park Brewery and Rock Cut Brewery, the China Garden restaurant, The Barrel bar, Sweet Basilico Restaurant (tasty Italian food with great pizza), and much more. In the same 2 block radius is a liquor store, a winery, a couple of food trucks (parked at Rock Cut -- sometimes you'll find fried chicken and other times you'll find a crepe truck). Be sure to walk to the gondola during the summers; it goes up Prospect Mountain and offers breathtaking views of the continental divide, the national park, and the entire Estes Park valley. The kids can walk a block to Fun City and enjoy the bumper boats and bumper cars, mini golf, a giant slide, a bungee trampoline, and go-cart racing. A half block away is the super fun aerial obstacle course of the Open Air Adventure Park. Some of these attractions are closed seasonally, so please check them out on the Internet. The free summer shuttle bus that goes all over town has a stop a half a block away, so you can board it and get around for free. The place is extremely family friendly, though it is on the edge of a river so be sure to supervise your kids, particular during the early summer when the snow starts to melt and the water level rises.
If you don't want to bother cooking, simply walk a half block to the best pizza/Italian (Sweet Basilico), brewery (Rock Cut), and chinese food (The China Garden) in the city. In the summers, the Two Chicks chicken food truck is often parked outside Rock Cut on the edge of the creek.
  • This place is amazing and provided a much needed relaxing weekend for us to enjoy. The chairs by the river were used often to enjoy a cocktail and just relax! Definitely recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing weekend.

    Phillip2020-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • Right in the river! Hot tub was deluxe. Very spacious. Everything you’d need in the kitchen and super clean!

    Haley2020-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay

    Matt2020-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • We rented Nathan's place for a quick girl's weekend getaway a couple months ago and it turned out to be right after the pandemic really started to get serious. So it was actually perfect timing for a little escape. The house was extremely clean, with everything we needed in the kitchen. Cozying up next to the fireplace in the morning with my book was amazing! Also sitting in the hot tub with a glass of wine looking at the river and snow covered trees was just what we needed. Unfortunately due to the current situation RMNP and most of the town was closed. However it is in a great location, walking distance to the brewery and restaurants for a future visit. We will definitely be staying here again when restrictions are lifted and life gets back to normal, but in the meantime it was a nice little oasis.

    Amy2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • The location of this home was fabulous! Nothing we wanted to do was over a fifteen minute drive away. In addition to a clean home and a great host, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

    Connor2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • We booked very last minute, Nathan approved our stay very quickly and was very friendly. The space was awesome, each room was very tidy. The shower was stocked with soap and plenty of towels. The private hot tub was also very clean and super easy to use! Over all our stay here was amazing. 10/10 would stay again!

    Jaylie2020-03-16T00:00:00Z

Soothe your soul in a hot tub above downtown while staring into Rocky Mountain National Park after a long day of hiking (STR#3126)! You'll love my historic cabin, built in the late 1800s but modernized for your comfort. Its cozy 540 square feet provide great views, a full kitchen & bathroom, fireplace, inviting and warm bedroom, and a deck overlooking Lumpy Ridge. + Walk to downtown and the Stanley Hotel + 8 minute drive to the park A perfect base for up to 4 people for a mountain getaway!
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. My cabin rests on a hillside above downtown in a small neighborhood of other historic cabins. This was one of the original neighborhoods when people first settled in the Estes Valley. The place predates most other buildings in the area, but it's been lovingly cared for and is in great shape. I love being able to walk to town from here, but still come home afterward and sit in the hot tub. Afterwards, I enjoy lounging on the sofa and just relaxing in front of the fireplace. There are other cabins close by, so if you are looking for total seclusion this isn't your best bet -- but there aren't many vacation rentals out there offering the great combination of views, a hot tub, fireplace, deck, full kitchen, and the ability to walk to town. ⛰️ BEDROOMS ⛰️ My home offers 1 bedroom, plus sleeping for two more on two Ikea ottomans that convert to single beds. Bedroom 1 - A comfortable mattress will ensure a good night sleep after a long day of hiking. It's a cozy space with wood paneled walls throughout, and north facing windows so you can watch the sun light up Lumpy Ridge as you wake up. ⛰️ LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT ⛰️ Living Room - There's a spacious dining room table and a comfy couch to lounge in while you stream your favorite Netflix series on the speedy WiFi. Feel free to fire up the fireplace -- it's electric but offers a great ambiance as the flames flicker on the cozy wood walls. Deck & Hot Tub - We have a small deck with a grill off the front door overlooking Lumpy Ridge, a perfect spot for BBQ.. Our hot tub fits two comfortably but you could squeeze more in if necessary. It has a small fence around it for privacy from our neighors' cabins, but the northern side is open so you can watch the mountains. ⛰️ LAUNDRY & COOKING ⛰️ Kitchen - The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, small appliances, fridge, freezer, full size oven and stove, microwave, drop coffee maker, toaster, and more. You may not actually use it that much because you can walk to all the great restaurants in downtown! Laundry - We do offer a full size washer and dryer for you to use!
My cabin is located in a neighborhood of other historic cabins on a hillside just above downtown Estes Park. You can literally walk everywhere in town -- to the Stanley Hotel, Ed's Cantina, local coffee shops and restaurants, etc. Because it's on a hill, you have a great view of Lumpy Ridge to the north from the deck and hot tub.
  • Nancy’s cabin was incredible! I thoroughly enjoyed the space, both inside and outside, and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy getaway. Nancy was an incredible hostess! The bed and couch were very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom had all the necessary supplies.

Spacious studio guest suite with private entrance, newer queen mattress, living area, large windows, kitchenette, bathroom. Private entrance with deck covered by large awning (in summer months), hammock and picnic table. Convenient, mountain living - short walk to Event Center, Lake Estes walking path, downtown Estes Park and Visitor Center shuttle. We follow CDC cleaning protocol. (Registration#3265)
Peaceful, quiet space for your "home base" while exploring RMNP and Estes Park. Many of our guests comment on the number of conveniences we've thought of to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. Large coffee table to spread your maps on as you confirm your adventures or settle in for the night with some reading or games. No TV, but there is good wifi if you want to bring your tablet or computer.
The backyard space is quiet, private and secluded from the rest of the neighborhood. The neighborhood is very convenient to downtown Estes Park, the Fairgrounds, Lake Estes, and RMNP. A surprising variety of wildlife frequents our neighborhood and passes through our yard.
  • Very nice location central to RMNP, kitchenette was also very convenient to have. The space was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated! Hosts are very accommodating and quick to assist with any questions or concerns. Great place to stay when visiting Estes Park!

The feeling of a remote mountain town, (complete with bears & coyotes) but you're only 15 min from Downtown Loveland. 7 min to Safeway, Walgreens and Mexican Food. Great for bird watching, sunrise watching, and relaxing. 10 min to Horsetooth Reservoir and Carter Lake. Also just a 30-minute drive to Estes Park. With our delicious well-water, septic system and composting, we're working towards getting off the grid. The 4 person hot tub is glorious. We clean and disinfect the house between guests
It's so dark and quiet at night, you'll sleep like you've never slept before. The house has lots of stairs indoors and out. The kitchen and downstairs bedroom are sunken from the living room, for example. Tile floors throughout the first floor. Outside there's a flagstone patio, stone retaining walls and stone stairs in the back from one level to the next. All the stone came from the quarry right at the top of the hill! Also, no AC. The house is engineered to stay cool, but if you require a controlled environment, it's not for you. If you're a geek about ways to save energy, it's totally for you!
The neighborhood is mostly farms. You can walk down 24H, and see the sheep, horses and goats! Our next-door neighbors are pretty close, so please be respectful. NO PARTIES of any kind. Groups of friends are welcome, but please respect the 9pm quiet hours.
  • Amazing gem. Loved the space inside and out. The hot tub was a great relaxation after long days. Christina allowed us early check in since no one was booked the day before and that helped us tremendously. Would highly recommend this spot!! Very close to the mountains too.

The hot tub was amazing, and we enjoyed watching the mule deer in the yard and the sunset on Devils Backbone. Christina was very responsive and left thorough instructions and tips for everything. Thanks, Christina!

This private studio apartment in a walk out basement, is perfectly situated in the heart of Northern Colorado. The studio is elegantly decorated with designer furniture. It boasts a high quality and most comfortable queen size foam mattress and a 3/4 bathroom complete with free toiletries. The most important thing after a long flight or a fun day of adventure in the mountains is a restful night. You will find that here with us! Wake up to an amazing view! Close to Boulder, Denver, Ft. Collins!
This listing is a spacious, private studio in our home, where we live and work full-time. You will probably hear us occasionally, however, we keep quiet hours between 10:00 PM - 7:30 AM. It's approximately 600 sq. ft. It is located in a cozy and quiet neighborhood, so it is not ideal for noisy travelers looking to party. We love hosting our guests and everyone always says they are very comfortable and cozy. The entire property, home and grounds are smoke free, this includes marijuana. Thank you. Kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, hot plate, toaster oven, Keurig, coffee, tea, utensils, plates, bowls, and cups. About 35 minutes to Boulder and Fort Collins. About 50 minutes to Denver and Estes Park.
Both Brick Oven Pizza and Berthoud Pizza Company are a couple miles away, as is King Soopers Grocery, a few coffee shops, Trailhead Cafe, Berthoud Brewery has great beer and food.
  • Easy communicator, great view outside the back, lovely family, easy going, would stay again! the entire check-in and check-out process was easy. I enjoyed my stay there!

  • Nichole was a fantastic host! Everything was exactly as it says in the ad and more! The place was stocked with things you wouldn’t even think of! Great location and gorgeous view! Highly recommend!

  • Awesome location and such a cozy place! I would definitely stay here again. Nicole has everything you need to make your trip great.

    Abby2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, comfortable space with great mountain views. We had to be out of our accommodation for a few hours during out last day because they had a film crew come through. We were comped one night due to the inconvenience which was appreciated. Nicole is very communicative, reasonable, and I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants to have a relaxed stay in a place that's not in the hustle and bustle of Northern Colorado but has easy access to Fort Collins, Loveland, and Boulder County.

    Charles2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Everything at Nicole’s was, without a doubt, amazing! Check in was super simple. The view from the backyard, especially during sunrise is completely breathtaking. The location is very convenient, we were able to rent a car and really explore all of Colorado. This was a great experience, Nicole was extremely accommodating and responsive! Overall a great time!

    Dani2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I came to visit Loveland, CO to check out the town for a neighborhood we would be interested in moving into in near future as well as have some fun while intown. The stay with Nicole far exceeded our expectations. Not only was our Airbnb fabulous, Nicole also is a realtor which turned out to be one of the best parts of our trip. We came with thoughts of looking for rentals for our move for 1st year with purchase to follow. We left CO with a home and our first CO friend. Can't say enough positive statements about our host or her property for Airbnb.

    Leah2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Nicole’s place for work and it was fantastic. It was very clean and comfortable. The view was great as well. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

    Ryan2020-02-05T00:00:00Z

This updated cabin with amazing views is conveniently located off Highway 34, nestled on the mountainside with views of the divide. Just 10 miles east of Estes Park gets you out of the hustle and bustle of downtown but just minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park, Devil's Backbone hiking area, and Carter Lake! Pop over to Estes Park or Loveland for plenty of places to eat and drink. Excellent porch for taking in nature, the cool mountain breeze and the wonderful view. Thank you for staying!
Great layout for entertaining and enjoying time with friends and family. A short drive to many of Colorado's best offerings!

  • Great location, nice views and cute place

    Matthew2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • An awesome place to stay with fantastic views. Slightly away from the main part of the city but not too far. Heather was awesome and her three dogs were very respectful and cute.

    Sadie2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Heather's place so so quiet and we could come and go without disturbing anyone. Heather was sick the few days we stayed but still communicated with us. Her place has pretty awesome views also.

    Rachel2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Heather was timely in response. Just as the other reviews state the driveway will be steep and in smaller vehicles you will want to be mindful of this. It has a bit of a curve to the driveway, so coming in at night it is harder to notice but at night, in rain and freezing temps, I was able to get up it just fine in a small car, just noting it for expectations. Her place was cozy and warm and I felt right at home with the welcoming committee (three dogs). I really enjoyed our conversation in the morning before I left as she's super nice. Last but not least, my favorite part of her home, THE VIEWS. I do not see mountains or water back home and got both here. I stood out in the 28 degree weather just taking it in. Will definitely look to book with her again if/when i'm back in the area.

    Kaitlyn2019-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • Really great place in a cool location!

    Will2019-10-24T00:00:00Z

SMT Forest Cabin is a rustic unplugged cabin halfway up the Mountain above the tiny town of Drake,Co near Climbing, Hiking, 4 Wheeling, Hunting, Snow Shoeing, Back Country Sking, and Nature Observing! It is also only a half an hour away from Estes Park. This cabin is on the edge of property, surrounded by nature, makes it a great retreat during any season! The roads are maintained year round all the way up, but it is a dirt road with some wash boards and bumps.
We are close to hiking trails, 4 wheeling, cliff climbing, and national forest with a lot of wildlife and beautiful views. We are close to Estes Park so you can enjoy the shopping strip, fishing in Estes Lake or Rocky Mountain National Park. This is a off grid cabin with no running water, but drinking water and washing water and foot pump sink is provided with a compost toilet. We have 2 double size XL beds, and a kitchen nook with all you need to do some cooking. We also pride ourselves in cleaning our cabin after every guest, whipping down every surface and changing out all sheets and towels.
With The Monastery Rock Climbing trail in walking distance from property; as well as, several other hiking trails such as Storm Mountain Trail, Palisade Mountain Summit Trail, and Crosier Mountain Garden Gate Trail within short driving distance it makes it a convenient place to stay! This property also borders National Forest with wide open views in walking distance that take you out of this world and makes it easier to spot animals for fun or sport! This Beautiful Wildlife can be seen for miles from Elk, Deer, and Moose to Eagles, Owls, and Wild Turkey! It is right down the mountain from many 4 wheeling trails, making it nice spot to rest your head before exploring, and it is away from town with very few neighbors spread out long distances away from each other; allowing you to escape from hassle and bustle becoming immersed in nature right outside your front door!
  • Make sure you have 4 wheel drive, but if you do it is so worth it. The view is spectacular!!! Only complaint is it is freezing in the winter. As expected but get the fireplace going and it gets nice and cozy!!!!

  • Super clean, very comfortable, private. We were greeted by the same rabbit just outside the gate each time we left or returned—it was adorable! Chris and Elena were easy to reach for whenever we needed something. I left my house key behind by accident and they were kind enough to prepare it for mailing the same day I left. Thank you both!

  • This location was SO AMAZING, one block to a local park and less than a mile to the beautiful Benson Sculpture park. WOW this location was just wonderful, even just walking around in the neighborhood was really nice. The apartment was perfectly clean and smelled very fresh, and with so many amenities! It felt like it was your very own home with SO MUCH PRIVACY, even a private patio where I could sit on my laptop and drink coffee and get some work done! I really enjoyed the place. And Chris was very responsive to the couple little minor things, I was very happy at how they responded. The kiddo upstairs does cry a bit but the parents tried so hard to keep him calm and happy. Very sweet!!! These were wonderful hosts that greeted me with big smiles!

The room that you stay in is adorable and the window faces towards the mountains. You have a private bathroom, private room, and a privacy divider that is great for feeling at home and comfortable. The area that their home is in is STUNNING. You drive through canyons to get there. Overall, me and my boyfriend’s stay was lovely and we can’t wait to come back! PS Their pup is the best! She loves belly rubs :)

  • Susan and Larry are incredibly nice people and their home is lovely. I will absolutely stay here again next time I am in Estes and would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a home away from home for a few days.

  • Susan and Larry’s Airbnb exceeded my expectations. The house was beautiful, the room was so clean and had lots of character, the continental breakfast was much appreciated, and the hosts were so personable, caring and sweet! It was by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve had. I highly recommend!

Step back to the 1950s in this charming, retro-themed suite in the Oasis on Eisenhower, an historic home turned boutique inn. Enjoy the feel of the ‘50s partnered with today's modern amenities, such as a memory foam mattress, adjustable motorized bed, WiFi, Netflix, cable TV & full kitchenette. Complimentary Keurig coffee, tea, and snacks provided. 19' swim spa (combo of hot tub/exercise pool) on-site! Room has window A/C unit. Smoking allowed outside but not in rooms.
We are building the World’s First Museinn (museum + inn), called The Oasis on Eisenhower! Come sleep surrounded by art and history in the first home built on the west side of Loveland – an orphanage-turned-boutique-inn. While all rooms are complete and ready for your enjoyment, some common areas are still being upgraded, updated and/or renovated for your future pleasure. Our newest addition is a 19’ swim spa (combination hot tub and therapy pool). Nestled in the heart of the Loveland business district, this private acreage allows you to enjoy the quiet Colorado experience while being feet away from nationally-known eateries and local dining gems. As the first home built on the west side of Loveland in the early 1900s, our place has seen the city grow around it. Shopping, groceries, and Loveland’s revitalized downtown are all within minutes, and you’re just a short drive to the wonders of Estes Park (45 minutes), Rocky Mountain National Park (55 minutes), and Fort Collins/Colorado State University (15-20 minutes). Your room features a custom-made vanity sink. You also have access to two shared, full bathrooms (one right outside your door). The custom-made TV stand rotates 360-degrees, allowing convenient television viewing throughout the room. Your fully-stocked kitchenette features a microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, electric kettle, Keurig machine with K-cups, dishes, flatware, and basic kitchen necessities. Downstairs, the shared kitchen offers comfortable eat-in dining, an electric range & oven, and access to the covered back porch and serene backyard. Lounge on the settee in the shared lobby, right next to Elvis Presley. Kick back to read a book, play the antique piano, or visit with other guests.
We are nestled between two quiet, residential neighborhoods and one of Loveland's main strips, Eisenhower Blvd (CO-Hwy 34). This provides our location with both serenity and convenience. Wildlife visitors such as deer and bunnies frequent the private backyard, which is located just steps away from numerous commercial amenities.
  • I love it here so much I found myself returning a couple of weeks later! I was offered an upgrade due to technology-happenings so I did not stay in this beautiful room again. But I won’t hesitate to stay in this room at another time, it’s super cute & cozy, fabulously decorated, great amenities and has a beautiful view! I love the entire place, I had another memorable and peaceful stay and look forward to returning. I left behind a personal item, they let me know right away and sent it to me. Highly recommend. Thank you again Jason & Lindsay.

    Ronni2020-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience. Loved the bed and all the coffee and food options in the room.

  • My wife and I had a great stay. If we had gotten back a little earlier we definitely wanted to take a dip in the swim spa! The host was extremely friendly and inviting, gave us a tour and even showed us some of the other suites at the Oasis. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back!

    Tyler2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a cool hidden gem in Loveland! I had no idea that this was here, and had a lovely time. We got to hang out in the hot tub and played some tunes on the piano in the main common room. The building itself is really interesting too. There are little snippets of history posted throughout the house. I wish there was one big history of the whole building because it's so cool! Definitely stay here if you're on your way through. The rooms are gorgeously decorated and comfortable.

    Travis2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Some of the best relaxing fun I’ve had in awhile! Awesome views of the mountains, the ambiance of the room is pretty magical. Jason & Lindsay thought of every personal touch and it shows. Needed for nothing. Really enjoyed the personal kettle to make tea, appreciated the power strip on the bed rail and the rotating tv to watch movies. Such a cute room, the bed was way-comfy, the snacks and water provided were great to have available and the sink was another nice bonus. Lindsay met me upon arrival and provided a very nice tour, she is such a sweet lady! Everyone here was great, I was even introduced to Puff. :) It definitely has the feeling of a relaxing and nurturing home. So happy to have found the MuseInn, it did wonders for my weekend! Would recommend, no doubt. Thank you again Jason and Lindsay!

    Ronni2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • My fiancé and I loved the themes, the suite we stayed in all the nice little touches they had. Incredibly beautiful view of the mountains from the room and spa! 10/10 would stay again.

Nestled in the foothills near Carter Lake, this “Off Grid” cabin offers an upscale "glamping" experience. Features: cozy food prep/eating area; loft w/ Queen size bed; outside “bathroom” w/ solar shower and bucket toilet; propane grill for cooking and wood burning stove on the patio; solar lights, candles and LED lantern for lighting; and propane heater to warm cabin in cooler weather. Enjoy this getaway cabin as base camp to explore surrounding areas or for a digital detox in comfort.
The cabin is small but just right for two or three people to hang out in the summer and perfect for couples all year round. Cozy and warm in the winter, cool and breezy in the summer. There is also a wood stove outside for evening camp fires. We are always on a fire ban here so we can't have open fire pits but the stove is perfect. Just open the door if you want to see the flames! You can even make your hot chocolate on it!
Our neighborhood has some really cool views also if you walk around. Evening walks up to the lake at sunset are beautiful.

  • This place is incredible, the wildlife is incredibly different than I’m used to. I couldn’t believe the diversity of birds! Originally only wanted to stay a few nights but extended my stay to explore the wonderful towns of Loveland, Berthoud, and Fort Collins. Shout out to local 5030! Super friendly place and if you don’t mind being just a little off the grid this is perfect. I can’t say enough how nice this place is for the soul

The house/Common space area is shared with two other airbnb rooms and the Host. Hurry up and get here, so you can slow down. Rent this corner bedroom of a home located on a couple acres just outside of Longmont. The land boasts chickens and alpacas. You can schedule a private tour of the ranch, kiss an alpaca and meet our newest baby alpaca who is just 1 month old. Nice patio by the garden and pasture, where the alpacas roam, and great views.
This is a home on two acres that we share with a brand new baby alpaca, or cria, and 9 adult alpacas, 13 hens, 1 boisterous rooster, 1 Oriental Short-haired cat, that is semi- hypoallergenic, and two mud turtles. The room is private. The common spaces include, the great room with kitchen and living room, as well as the patio. The farm is private but we will happily give you a tour and let you kiss an alpaca. The pastures surround the house, so you will see the alpacas and free-range chickens throughout the day.
It is very quiet and peaceful here.
  • It’s a pretty impressive place, good for a few days or even a bit longer stay.

    Chris2020-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect the best of best here. The ranch is beautiful and the house feels like a home. Laurell is the best host I’ve ever experienced and is incredibly sweet and kind. I came here to explore the Boulder area and hike the best of what Colorado has to offer and this place was the perfect distance from everything and again I cannot emphasize enough how amazing the home experience was. 10/10 would recommend to anyone interested in visiting Colorado.

    Chris2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • The alpaca farm is a fabulous place to stay when visiting Colorado. This unique stay has everything you could want— great amenities, close location to town and mountains and ALPACAS! Definitely would stay again and I can’t wait to come back to visit.

  • This is a wonderful place to stop with amazing hospitality and ALPACAS!! 5/5 stars on every category!

  • This is a great unique place to stay if you’re visiting the area. I have nothing but great things to say about the alpaca ranch :-)

  • Great host, great room! Clean, orderly, and friendly atmosphere. Appreciated the privacy lock on my room. Just north of Longmont and a quick drive to lots of excellent dining options. I spent most of my trip in Rocky Mountain National Park, and appreciated not staying in a tourist town (was worth extra drive each day to not stay in Estes Park). Would stay here again without hesitation. PS: it's just outside of town enough that the stars are amazing after dark!

    Ben2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cool place. The alpacas add a fun touch.

    Jesse2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Absolute perfect place stay for our time in Colorado! Beautiful views of the mountains from the driveway and nice animals (we love the cat Frenchie). Laurell was an attentive and friendly host and made us feel right at home. This is a good place for people looking to get away from city noise without being too far from anything you'd want to do.

The Jewel room was lovely not to mention the extra touch that was added with having snacks and coffee available there and Puff, the pupper, is such a good boy 11/10 would boop the snoot. Stay in your own peaceful creek-side cabin on 40 acres. There is a wetland area and a valley full of birds and native animals. Close to Lyons, Boulder and Longmont, but far from any traffic noise. Rental includes guided nature hike if desired. Available May through November.
Bring binoculars, camera, and a good book to read in the peaceful evenings. Rocky Mountain National Park, Lyons music festivals, Colorado University and Boulder all less than a hour driving time. There is a big valley for hiking and a wetland area attracting birds and animals as well as dragonflies and butterflies. The cabin has a radio, but no TV or internet. Cell phones don't work in the valley. Emergency phone available 100 yards away at our house. Wifi is accessible from our porch if needed.
This is a rural neighborhood, with homes all on minimum of 35 acres. We are the last house on the road...beyond us is foothills wilderness. In Lyons there are restaurants, a brewery, music festivals and weekly music events in summer. Fishing, tubing and kayaking are popular pastimes. Rocky Mountain Park is a 45 minute drive from the cabin. Boulder offers theaters, pedestrian mall, the university, and scads of highly rated restaurants.
  • It's a very good place for a cozy stay And I should mention about hosts are very kindness.

  • Was a very nice place to unplug and go on hikes nearby where the cabin is. Also not too far from rocky mountain national park for a day trip. Could get a tad cold at night in November, but the fireplace and electric blankets made it pretty comfortable.

    Kevin2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great cabin in the woods! Highly recommend booking this place, if you seek nature and a calm moment. Indoor fireplace is amazing and provides a cozy touch. Proximity to the Rocky Mountain NP is perfect.

  • Fantastic place! We loved hiking through the property and truly checking out for a few days! Don't forget your binoculars... We saw grazing wildlife and it was awesome. Would totally stay again!

    Heather2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful place to break away from your cell phones and laptops. You can relax, tend to the fire, and just enjoy the mountain air. Close to great restaurants in Lyons and not too far from Estes Park and RMNP. Leslie and Craig were wonderful hosts!

    Robert2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect cabin nestled in a spectacular area.

    John2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay in this clean, cute, warm cabin, and the absolutely gorgeous land it sits on! Leslie took us on a jaunt up to a breathtaking view of the valley and also showed us where to look at photos from their critter cam on the computer in the cabin (bears, mountain lions, bobcats!). We were provided with plenty of wood and kindling for the wood stove and bagels in the freezer for the morning. Another highlight in the end was Leslie’s quick thinking and assistance when we had car issues in the unexpected snowfall. She went out of her way to help us out! We’re glad we found a place with such generous hosts.

    Cale2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Leslie has provided a peaceful retreat tucked under a ridge near a winding river. From nearby peaks you can see the trees that grow along this river all the way to the cabin! True to its name, Leslie provides what a nature lover needs. She is a wealth of information and has 30 years of stories to tell! Highly recommend.

A Snow Top Suite is in a high mountain meadow, with views of the Continental Divide and minutes from Estes Park. The Suite has a completely separate entrance from the main house and very private, self checkin with a code. I am following the guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting, that CDC recommendations for your protection. The neighborhood is surrounded by the Roosevelt Forest, with access to hiking trails, ATV and Horse Trails. The Palisade hike is fabulous and 5 minutes from The Suite.
The guest may use the Suite and the lower area with its private entrance. There's an outside seating area with a porch swing and a hammock with spectacular views. I clean and disinfect the entire Suite after each guest. Playing close attention to commonly touch surfaces. There’s a cowboy grill for s’mores or grilling, wood is provided. If you prefer charcoal, please provide your own. On the upper deck there’s a hot tub and fireplace room for you to enjoy, a must after a long day hiking!
A Snow Top Suite is on Storm Mountain, which is in Drake, Colorado, just a few miles to Estes Park and The Rocky Mountain National Park. The road up to the neighborhood is steep with switchbacks. The elevation is 7100 ft, with amazing views of the Continental Divide. The home location also allows you to see the sunrise and the sunset.
  • This place is an absolute gem & we definitely hope to stay again! We loved how remote it felt - a perfect getaway, but conveniently located with easy access to Estes Park. Elizabeth's recommendation to hike on Palisade Mountain only 5 minutes up the road was great - a beautiful hike that our dog absolutely loved exploring on a quiet trail all to ourselves. We enjoyed the hot tub on the property & saying hello to the horses. Our favorite part of the apartment was the fireplace - so cozy & warm when it was snowing outside. Kitchen allows for making easy meals. Bed was comfortable. Elizabeth was very sweet & wanted to make sure we had a perfect stay!

    Caitlin2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t say enough about how great our stay was; everything from the hospitality to the location to the suite itself was outstanding. Would absolutely go back!

    Austin2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Liz is amazing as well as her cabin and property! A great place to get some peace and quiet away from the every day hustle of life! My bloodhound puppy was able to pounce through the country free as a bird!

    Alison2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot! Very recommended! Private and I loved the horses she had in the back to great us every morning!

    Meredith2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • For our first trip to the mountains, this stay was perfect. Great location, beautiful views, just an ideal get away for two. The studio layout was super cozy, especially with the fireplace going. There was everything we needed and more, the little details make you right at home. The drive to RMNP was scenic and quick, we were sure to rent a 4x4 vehicle since it had been snowing so much. Although we missed the hot tub, I would 100% recommend Elizabeth’s snow top suite to anyone wanting to get away in the mountains and hike around. Thanks again Elizabeth!

    Kerah2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Liz’s suite was absolutely breathtaking. The views in the morning with the sunrise were unforgettable. Liz was always quick to reply and the suite was super clean! The only thing we regret was not taking chains because even with four wheel drive, the driveway is super steep and difficult to get up with a foot of snow. Luckily, Liz helped us out and had some chains for us ready to go! Stay here, you will not regret it!

    Brooke2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location and lovely suite! So much to do and see in the area. Highly recommend.

    Brent2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Elizabeth’s place is magical—you will love the setting. We spent a cozy winter weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Appointed with everything you need to cook a basic meal. The drive to Estes Park is scenic and passes quickly; well worth it for the incredible views. We had a midsize rental car and had no trouble getting up as it didn’t snow while we were there. Don’t hesitate to book this amazing place!

  • Laurell’s place was an absolute gem! In a rural area but not isolated. Awesome alpacas that we’re very friendly. I came down with the flu and was too sick to go get medication for myself and Laurel took it upon herself to provide me with some meds which was very sweet! Would absolutely recommend!

Come stay in my arty bungalow on a quiet hillside steps from the heart of downtown Estes Park (STR #3516). You can't find a better location! Let your creativity flow through my piano, guitar and other instruments. My place features a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and great views of the Rocky Mountains. + Walk to restaurants, shows, breweries and shopping + 5 min drive to Rocky Mountain National Park A 425 s/f space, big on amenities, perfect for your trip! Dogs allowed with owner approval.
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. My newly remodeled artsy bohemian bungalow is perfectly situated on a quiet hillside overlooking downtown Estes Park. There are great views of old Man Mountain and Prospect Mountain right off the deck. It’s rare to find a hilltop cabin with these views that are this close to town, and I can't recall ever seeing a vacation home filled with as many instruments as this one! There's a piano, ukulele, guitar, mandolin, set of bongos, and a djembe drum. Use the mountain vibe to create music after an inspiring day in the Rockies. You can drive into the park in 5 minutes, walk half a block to restaurants, meander to Bond Park for live music, or just chill out on the deck and watch the hummingbirds fly by after a long day in the National Park. *** BEFORE CONTINUING, NOTE THE FOLLOWING *** 1) Two can sleep in the queen bed, and there’s a sofa bed that is slightly smaller than a full size bed. That means the place sleeps four people comfortably if two are children. If they are adults, it’ll be a squeeze for the fourth on the sofa bed. 2) By booking, you are agreeing to the house rules at the bottom of the listing. You MUST read them. ****** Now, onward! I invite you to stay in my boho-chic cabin. It’s bright yellow and I like to call it Mellow Yellow. You will love its warmth, cleanliness, artsy feel, views, location and awesome lighting! It's perfectly appointed with comfy furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen, and countless amenities so you can feel at home during your mountain getaway in Estes Park. I am a long-time superhost and have hosted thousands of people at my other properties. Recent guests have raved: "... The pictures were amazing but upon stepping in it was like I was in my own world" "... This place is in the best location and only a short walk to downtown." "... I was stunned by the interior design and the special touches strewn throughout the space!" "... The views from the porch are surreal." "... Communication was easy and the piano was my favorite." I spent several weeks giving my new cabin a facelift to create a quiet, relaxing sanctuary for your mountain retreat. Improvements include: + Updated decor + Musician's dream house, with piano, guitar, ukulele, mandolin, bongos and djembe + Blackout shades in the bedroom + Luxurious queen bed in a romantic nook with cozy lighting + New furniture + Fun bohemian vibe + Super fast WiFi You will enjoy 1 bedroom, a full bathroom with toilet/shower, a living room with games, puzzles and a smart TV, a dining area with seating for 4, great deck with huge mountain views, and a really inviting living room. My favorite feature is either the views off the deck, or the incredible lighting that adds a ton of ambiance for a romantic getaway or for those who just need to relax after a long day in the mountains. It’s a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of life. BEDROOMS My home offers 1 bedroom plus sleeping for one or two more in the living room. Bedroom 1 - A great little master bedroom with attached bathroom. The comfortable queen bed is in a little nook surrounded by pendant lights and sheer curtains. It’s relaxing and extremely romantic! Sleeping Area - The sofa converts to a bed that’s slightly smaller than a full size bed. It’s fine for two kids, 1 adult, or two very very cozy sleepers. Linens are underneath the sofa (it pops up). LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Deck - This is the hallmark of my home, and it's a favorite place to spend time. Because my home is up on a hillside, you will feel like you’re in a treehouse. You can look down over the town, and out across the Estes Valley to Prospect Mountain and Old Man Mountain. You can walk about 4-5 blocks to the base of the aerial tramway that can zip you up to the top of Prospect Mountain (season dependent) and get a great view of the entire National Park.. Living Room - You'll pass much of your time here on the incredibly cozy and comfortable sofa. Twinkly lights and bamboo pendants light up the space, and a beautiful accent wall of plants will keep things alive and natural feeling. There are a few puzzles/games in the hutch if you want to detach from technology. WiFi - The bungalow has a great WiFi router so you’ll enjoy a strong 100Mbs connection for streaming, entertainment and work, with no dead zones. COOKING Kitchen - The kitchen is fully stocked It features an oven, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, various small appliances, cutlery, dishes, utensils, bowls/pots/pans and virtually anything else you may need or want. It opens directly to the dining area so you can socialize as someone's cooking. ESTES PARK'S MANY AWARDS Estes has become an awesome year-round destination over the last five years. In fact, a few years ago the town was named to more than 50 lists of Best, Favorite and Top Destinations. Here are a select few: - Best Mountain Town - Sunset Magazine - Top-Rated Vacation Destinations in North America - Expedia - America's Most Scenic Roads - Travel + Leisure Magazine - Top 20 Mountain Trips - Sunset Magazine - America's 15 Most Romantic Cities for Winter Travel - Trip Advisor - 10 U.S. Places To Travel Before They Get Famous - Huffington Post - The Ten Most Beautiful Towns in CO - TheCultureTrip.com - The Most Romantic Weekend Getaway in Every State - Thrillist.com - 50 Small Towns Across America with the Most Beautiful Fall Foliage - Country Living - The 15 Most Beautiful Spots in CO - TheCrazyTourist.com - Best Towns in Colorado - Niche - Top 10 Adult Spring Break Destinations in America Revealed - World Property Journal Here's what National Geographic Magazine wrote out our little slice of paradise: "Rising up along the Continental Divide, Rocky Mountain National Park is a natural overachiever, with 77 mountains above 12,000 feet—including 14,259-foot Longs Peak—and a span of alpine tundra. Snow-packed granite peaks tower over a calm of ponderosa pines, which ease toward meadow and meandering stream—four ecosystems within one park. It’d be simple to cover them all on a drive along scenic Trail Ridge Road, but why not channel Enos Mills and hike some of the 355 miles of trails instead? You might hear elk bugling or spy otters swimming among lily pads."
My cabin sits on a quiet hillside that's literally steps from downtown Estes Park. There is no better location in the entire zip code! You can walk to all the best coffee shops, breweries, restaurants and shops in town -- you can even listen to live music at Bond Park -- and still come home to a private, quiet retreat. The cabin's extremely unique location allows you to skip all the traffic in Estes Park and zip straight into Rocky Mountain National Park along Highway 34. What's more, you'll likely see hummingbirds, deer, and even elk off the deck! It doesn't get any better!
  • The cabin is in a great spot near Downtown in Estes. The cabin itself is cozy, safe, and overall an amazing place to stay at. I definitely would recommend staying here, and I hope that I can come back!!

  • Nathan's place is in a great location - mere feet from the main street of the town and a quick 5-10 min drive to the Rocky Mountain park entrance. Nathan was great at responding and addressing our requests. The place itself offered so much. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need and more. We also used the gas bbq on the deck to grill for dinner, which was so great. The place was clean and amazingly decorated. It was the perfect place to come back to to relax after a long day spent in nature.

  • Nathan’s place was incredible. It was very stylish and super clean. We had no trouble finding the Airbnb as he provided step by step directions. This place is in the best location and only a short walk to downtown. We had fun enjoying the town and checking out all of the decorations in the place. The deck is a great place to hangout and enjoy the scenery and beautiful mountain air. We loved this space and can’t wait to come back in the near future!

  • This unique place in Estes was well beyond my expectations. Not only were the views fantastic the location is close to everything you’re looking to get out of the Estes experience! Morning coffee on the deck had to be my absolute favorite of my trip! Super easy to find and checkin/out was simple-everything you’ll need to know is in the manual provided! The host is quick to respond with questions as well. The pictures were amazing but upon stepping in it was like I was in my own world-all the special touches inside were beyond what I thought! The lighting, comfy bed and super easy tech hookup was awesome! Spotless upon arrival as well-Will definitely be back to stay!
