  • My mother and I stayed here one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect location and very clean and comfortable. Also had a nice, hot shower which I appreciated after a day of hiking in the cold. Would highly recommend staying here.

  • Absolutely lovely apartment. Really spacious and clean with plenty of great amenities - I was relieved to find a hairdryer since I didn't have room to pack one myself. I had a very comfortable nights sleep before an early start for hiking the following day. Was definitely a bargain to find such a lovely apartment at a very reasonable price at such short notice. Access to the apartment was really easy and communication with the hosts was excellent. Would happily recommend this place!

  • Me and my boyfriend stayed here from the 24th of February to the 27th, it was amazing, Chloe was so lovely and available to answer any questions we had, although they stayed next door, they didn’t bother you unless you needed them, the thoughtful touches they put in for arrival, Prosecco, cookies, fresh cakes, and the essentials in the fridge, it was so thoughtful, the cabin was amazing, so spacious and clean and very modern, it’s exactly how it is pictured, the surrounding area was gorgeous and there was so much to do, the hot tub was great, it was an overall amazing stay, it was in the perfect location for a perfect cabin, would 100% be back and recommend it for others, we had the best few days away here, thank you chloe for such a lovely stay.

  • Homely and well-designed little pod that we enjoyed a little valentine’s stay at. Despite the cold weather and rain, we managed to get some use out of the Hot tub and walked just 10 minutes to a nearby Inn for dinner! Chloe was super responsive when we had any questions and was happy to help if required. Lovely little treats on arrival and plenty of little entertainment bits to keep you occupied for the night! Would love to return at some point in the future!

  • Amazing hosts. They responded quickly and helped with everything we needed from leading up to our visit all the way to when we left. They are very accommodating and made recommendations for where we could visit. They had teas coffee sugar and milk with biscuits on our arrival. The cottage was beautiful and clean within a fantastic location so very easy to walk to places. I can’t say enough how pleased we were!

    Nicole2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Pauline and Joep's place was lovely! Joep met us at the door for check-in (although you can check in independently as well) and gave us a tour of the property. He mentioned everything you'd need to know from the heating to their very cool electric shower and towel warmer. They have some great amenities such as tea and coffee to start you out with on your stay. They also have a washer in the home and then a dryer just a few steps away in a shed in the courtyard. The shed with the dryer was also super clean and had some extra clothes lines for hanging up delicates. Their home was super clean and had such cute images of hairy coos on the walls, which my friend and I personally loved. There are plenty of cozy blankets to use in the living room/bedroom. The TV situation was also great with cable options and an option to cast from your device to the TV. The location is fantastic - right next to the River Ness. It's close to all the city's restaurants and shops too. Just a two minute walk away is the local Tesco (so convenient) and their home is a ten minute walk away from the bus station/train station. Would highly reccomend their home for your stay in Inverness!

2 double bedroom, 2 bathroom riverside modern flat with private parking, outside space, 5 mins walk to city centre. Spring mattresses with down toppers, down duvets/pillows and luxury cotton linens. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, cereals, bread, marmalade, jam for breakfast. Unlimited download internet. Ideal for a city break for two couples or business trip to the highland capital.
My flat is on the river side with lovely views out onto the river with plenty of outside seating, plants, flowers and space to enjoy the vistas and the sound of the Ness flowing by. All mod cons equipped kitchen - espresso maker, washing machine/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, bar style dining table, walnut work surfaces. Shared communal close to access the flat. Good, friendly neighbours. Situated 5 minutes walk from the city centre - close to all amenities. On-site private parking. Bright, light and airy, clean and tidy place to stay.
Riverview is situated in the centre of Inverness in a quiet cul de sac just off one of the main traffic routes in the city. Surprisingly it is very quiet. Riverview is a block of 38 flats, 29 of which are privately owned with the remaining 9 housing association. There are some owner-occupiers, though most of the flats are rented out - some to long term tenants and some like what I'm doing with airbnb, to short-term visitors. Inverness is a city and I'm not blind to its faults but after having lived here for 10 years I find the people open and friendly, more friendly and inquisitive of strangers than you might find in a larger city down south. People are less suspicious and generally open to helping out whatever the situation. Tourism is one of the biggest income generators in the region so everyone is well used to visitors.
  • Amanda's place is conveniently situated - 10 minute walk from lots of restaurants and bars in the city, can also walk to the castle. The walk by the river is pleasant. Her living room opens to amazing river views where you can watch sunrise and sunset. The place is sparkling clean, and she was so kind as to fully stock her kitchen for us. We really enjoyed her home - thumbs up and five stars!

    Sharmin2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda's place is cosy, very clean and welcoming. Check in was easy and we got so much information on how everything works- so, it was all very simple. Communication was nice, quick and efficient. The apartment is situated close to Inverness city centre- you can walk there in about 10 mins. There is a great Fish & Chips shop just across the bridge. On site parking was very convenient. The apartment is well equipped and it is a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely come and stay again. Highly recommended !

  • Love, love loved it! Beautiful river outside, extremely comfortable place to stay. Warm, quiet and yet near enough to town and the amenities. Inverness is a beautiful place, and I would really suggest having a wander on the islands in the middle of the river Ness - truly special.

    Carey2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect place! If you want to stay in the view is stunning and the apartment is cozy. If you want to explore the location can’t be beat as there are numerous historical sites, shops, and restaurants to choose from, many within walking distance if you don’t want to drive. Amanda gave thorough and detailed instructions that made our stay easy and stress-free. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with the essentials and the apartment was clean and tidy. I highly recommend staying here and hope to come back again!

Urquhart Bay Croft is a brand new luxury self-catered renovation with beautiful views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart. Downstairs it has a double height entrance hallway, one king-size bedroom, and separate family bathroom, while upstairs it boasts a fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining area, lounge with comfy sofa and free standing log burner, and double doors opening to decked area and the wider south facing garden.
We are Simon and Annie Greenlay. We first saw Urquhart Bay cottage in 2014 and fell in love with it. We have run Urquhart Bay BnB for 2yrs(see our other listings for reviews). We knew immediately that we wanted to live in this peaceful place with its one-of-a-kind views over Loch Ness. The Croft is our latest project that we have put our heart and soul into, and look forward to sharing it with our guests. The Croft is ideally situated close to the beautiful Highland village of Drumnadrochit, and is only a 2 minute walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. It sits in extensive private gardens to explore offering stunning views of Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart. Downstairs, there is a large kingsize bedroom with original bothy window offering views from the bed across the loch, and a separate luxury bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower with rain head. Upstairs, there is a large open plan kitchen/diner and lounge with free standing log burner, that also has a pull out sofa bed for children. We have worked with local craftsmen to restore and enhance the original building, so that you are never far from a view of the Loch(even from your bed!), and couldn’t be closer to the iconic Urquhart Castle, just a few minutes’ walk away. For the cosier evenings we have a large log burner, SMART TV and high speed WiFi available throughout. The Croft is furnished to a very high standard, with many items hand crafted and knitted. Guests can expect high quality toiletries, Egyptian cotton linen throughout, and we are happy to provide fresh eggs daily from our free range highland hens. The Croft is a great base to explore the highlands, and there are many walking routes directly from the doorstep to explore the local views across the iconic Loch, or bump into some of the local wildlife such as many local deer or birds of prey who live near the Loch. We have plenty of parking available and are a short walk from the local village of Drumnadrochit.
Peaceful and in an area of outstanding beauty. A short walk down to the village on a path.
  • Wow what a stunning find! We were a little nervous being first time airnbnb-ers but our experience couldn't have been better. The croft is the perfect cosy hideaway and Annie and Simon are wonderful hosts.

    Morgan2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Annie & Simon’s beautiful Croft. For me, it was perfect, faultless even. The Croft is beautifully designed, warm, cosy and welcoming with stylish, personal touches. In a nutshell, the bed is super comfy, bathroom is great, kitchen has everything you need, and the living room has a wood burning stove, not to mention THAT view! The balcony area is a peaceful outside space to sit and enjoy the view of Loch Ness and the wooded hillside behind the croft. I’d say the croft is ideally located to explore the area, with short walks direct to the village and beyond. There is a large Co-op and good pharmacy, and the Loch Ness Inn pub is nearby. Simon was generous with helpful local advice - thank you for pointers on Glen Affric (I did the Affric-Kintail trail for longer hike) and the Great Glen Way (check out the pottery)- I did both and loved every minute! I can’t wait to return! Thank you!

    Sarah2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! What a beautiful and luxurious place to stay. The Croft was incredibly well equipped and decorated to a very high spec. It was really warm, comfortable, and relaxing. Just what my partner and I needed. We really didn’t want to leave. It’s also very well located with beautiful views over Urquhart Bay, and just around the corner from Urquhart Castle. Simon met us on arrival which was quite late in the evening, and showed us around the Croft and gave us lots of useful information about local walks. We would love to return to the Croft again.

  • This is a fabulous find for anyone exploring the Loch Ness, North West Scotland area. Cosy, comfortable, clean and charming. If you are looking for a lovely secluded place to retreat to, this is it. Take you hiking boots. There are some fabulous views. We loved our visit.

    Jennifer2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • The Croft has awesome views looking over Loch Ness and has everything you need for a relaxing weekend getaway. Lovely local restaurant called The Loch Ness Inn, which I’d highly recommend too! Thanks Annie & Simon. Hope to see you again soon!

    Tom2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic accomodation in an amazing location. The croft is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay in this area. Thanks again to Simon and Annie for having us!

    Mark2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing house to stay in! The house exceeded all our expectations- not only is it a beautifully designed house (all the windows are perfectly placed so you maximise all the views) but it is in a perfect location, only 4 mins walk to Urquhart Castle and a 5mins drive to local amenities and overlooks the beautiful Loch Ness! There are lots of lovely touches around the house and it’s very beautifully decorated. The bathroom was spotless and the bath was by far the best I’ve ever used! I wish I could have taken it home with me! Will be recommending to all our family and friends!

Hi there, Ness Cottage is situated on the shoreline of Loch Ness, in the small village of Dores. This is on the south-east side of Loch Ness, approximately 8 miles from Inverness. This is a self-catered apartment in the upper level of our own house offering breathtaking views directly over the loch and the mountains beyond (maybe a sight of Nessie if you are lucky!) This is an ideal location from which to explore the beautiful highlands.
This 2 bedroom flat is spacious, self-contained, with an open plan lounge, dining room & kitchen. The flat is situated on the upper level of our house which has its separate entrance. The garden fringes the shoreline of Loch Ness. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances. The apartment has breathtaking views across Loch Ness. The sleeping arrangements consist of 1 double bedroom and 1 family bedroom, both with en-suite bathrooms.
In the community of Dores, there is a lovely beach and nearby woods to go exploring, and a playpark for children to enjoy. The loch is a great place to go canoeing and there are good cycle tracks nearby. There is a local pub - the Dores Inn (150 metres walking distance), dinner bookings are advisable. The nearest supermarket (Tesco) is approx 6 miles en-route to Inverness, (there are no shops in Dores).
  • This is an AMAZING spot! Close to Inverness city centre, countryside and overlooking the beautiful Loch Ness and nearby mountains. Well maintained, very friendly hosts, and such a cosy spot to return to after discovering all the spots the local area has to offer. Went with children in tow and they loved Mary's games box and trying to spot Nessie from the lounge window. Such friendly and welcoming hosts too, cannot recommend Ness Cottage enough.

  • Thank you very much! Everything was perfect.

    Rina2019-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Gavin and Mary were amazing hosts! Warm, welcoming, and Mary made the BEST homemade bread as well. The home was beautiful! We can’t wait to get back!

  • We spent 2 nights in the Ness Cottage, in a beautiful setting. Doing your dishes at Loc Ness is not done every day. Everything was perfectly clean and the welcome very warm. The beds are comfortable and the living room is very large. There are lots of little touches, like homemade bread, jam, butter and milk for breakfast. There are plenty of books and pamphlets in the area. We left with a baby and Mary gave us a cot and a high chair and duplos. A good time spent.

    Sandrine2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay, made to feel very welcome by Mary when we arrived, and greeted with freshly baked bread and home-laid eggs. The flat is very well equipped, clean and comfortable, a real home from home. And all with fabulous views down Loch Ness.

    Kira2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • The location was incredible! We slept with the window open so we could hear the water lapping on the shores of Loch Ness at night. The kitchen had everything we needed and even a few things that the host provided for us for breakfast the first day! Great stay! We will definitely keep this in mind for our next trip!

    Kevin2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Mary and Gavin’s place was a dream. There just isn’t a better place in all of the Inverness area. Two thumb’s up and beyond. We will be back!

    Alessandra2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend! The lovely, clean space, amazing views of Loch Ness, and special touches too! I'd return in a minute. Very special hosts too!

The Old Schoolhouse is a period property lying high above the southern shores of Loch Ness. It is a perfect base for exploring the Scottish Highlands. Loch Ness, Inverness and Moray Firth, the Nevis range and Cairngorms National Park are all within easy reach, whilst the beautiful west coast and the Isle of Skye lie only two hours’ drive away. Or stay put and enjoy views of Loch Mhor and Monadhliath Mountains from the house and garden, or read a book by the wood-burner in the cosy living room.
Built in 1878, and a teacher’s house for over 100 years, the Old Schoolhouse has been simply and tastefully renovated, retaining much of its original character and features. It is warm and cosy with a log burner and central heating and boasts views of Loch Mhor (2 min walk from the house) and the Monadhliath Mountains. The house adjoins the Old School which is home to the owners. We run an organic small-holding (where we grow vegetables and keep chickens) and often have garden produce to share with guests. The property is very comfortable and homely with a well-equipped kitchen, a bath (with shower over), a master-bedroom with views of the loch and a twin room (which can be made up into a super-king size bed). We are very family-friendly and can offer the use of a cot and highchair. A garden at the front of the property is for sole use of guests, while the rear garden is shared by guests and owners alike, so please take this into consideration. The area is rich in history (from hut circles and cairns, to battlefields and castles) and in wildlife (pine-marten, deer, red squirrels, osprey, white tailed and golden eagle, Slavonian grebes and divers). With miles of tracks, quiet roads and forest, or the open solitude of loch, hill and moor, there is plenty of scope for fishing, cycling or walking straight from the house. Local fishing trips and art lessons can be arranged on request.
Errogie is a very small hamlet nestled away in the hills behind Loch Ness. There is a small post office/shop and tearooms in Foyers (15 mins drive) but Inverness (35 mins drive) or Fort Augustus (30 mins drive) are the nearest towns, so please stock up with food before you arrive. Inverness airport is a 45-50 min drive.
  • Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the old school house. The house itself is beautiful and location stunning. It was well equipped, with lovely personal touches. The fabulous garden and chickens were an added bonus for our children. Great communication from Eleanor before we arrived and very welcoming when we got there. We would happily stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

  • This house was perfect, and our hosts wonderful!

    Jean-Nicolas2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Old School House is amazingly located, nestled right across from Loch Moor with an absolutely spectacular view. The space fit our needs perfectly, that kitchen was so perfect! Everything was as advertised and really just perfect for our Honeymoon!

    Amberly2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • What we did right: come to this place. What we did wrong: only stayed 3 nights. To come and spend time in the old schoolhouse was an extraordinary experience for us. It is amazingly inviting and cozy - you feel like home at once! The snow that fell over night just added to the great atmosphere. Many thanks for the shortbread and the flowers! :) It was a great pleasure to meet Eleanor, Will and the family! Thank you again!

    Kerstin & Jan2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • The place and area are lovely! Perfect spot for people who want to run away from "modern life tumult". Here you can slow down, clear your mind, read books, watch the fire burn, play the piano, go for a long walk after morning tea and come back to this beautiful and cozy cottage.

    Artur2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We loved every single bit about the Old Schoolhouse. The living room with the Scottish oven was just wonderful. We loved cuddling up in front of the chimney and spending our evenings reading in the the warm. Eleanor had prepared everything thoughtfully so we just needed to make fire. The kitchen was most well equipped, nothing missing for preparing breakfast or dinner. When furnishing the Old schoolhouse Eleanor has proven a wonderful sense of respecting the old and the same time giving the house a unique style. I would highly recommend booking with Eleanor! :-)

Golfers should take advantage and play some of the best courses in Scotland. Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart, Nairn and Spey Valley to name a few. Plenty to do to cater for all interests in and around Inverness.
  • Absolutely perfect! The room was everything described and more. Janette looks after you and the room was so comfortable and clean that it made our trip to Inverness 10 times better! You get a good night's sleep, it is accessible to town and a perfect place for a get away.

    Sainimili2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great place!

    Marcela2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Our short stay was very pleasant. The room is very comfortable, clean and Janette provides a kettle, tea and coffee by the bed. The room has a lock and Janette comes regularly to do a little cleaning (empty the trash, etc.) Attention, travelers do not normally have access to the kitchen (even if Janette has kindly agreed to let us eat there simple when present). The proximity to the city center is also very pleasant!

    Béatrice2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Janette went above and beyond to ensure we were extremely comfortable for our brief stay! The room was immaculate, bedding very nice, towels very fluffy (my favourite!). She is an extremely kind and helpful woman and made sure we had parking, knew how to access our rooms, and knew where we were going and what to do. Despite this being a room in a shared cottage, this was more private than some hotel rooms/‘entire place’ stays with AirBnB that I’ve had before. Hands down the best stay for the price that you’ll ever find!

  • Do not hesitate to book this little slice of heaven! Tracy is a wonderful host, helping with a birthday cake for my husband and even leaving a box of choccies for him. The lodge itself is amazing, spotlessly clean, super comfy beds, all mod cons and the hot tub is a delight! We will be booking again and can't wait to go back.

  • We had such a lovely time visiting the Lodge, It was a great first Valentines weekend as a new Mr & Mrs. Tracy was very prompt in answering any questions we had and was kind enough to add the extra touch of a welcome box of chocolates :) Would definitely recommend.

Tracy was quick to respond when we had any questions and provided lots of information about the local area. Was a lovely stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

    Natalie2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect get away in an amazing area. A nice quiet area but still local enough to shops, restaurants and a takeaway. A very cosy stay, we will be back for sure!

  • Just home from a fantastic weekend away. Tracey gave us a warm welcome to begin with. The lodge was stunning/ very modern and the hot tub was a great feature. We loved the little quirks i.e. the board games and the bread etc, very thoughtful. The drive to Lewiston/ the river at the back of the lodge was so peaceful and being in that part of Scotland reminded us of the beauty of the country. Thank you Tracey, we hope to return in the future!

Our Cabin is situatated in stunning countryside 11 miles, 15 mins drive from Inverness. This hand built luxuary cabin is fully insulation with underfloor heating, keeping it lovely and warn all year. It is a light and cosy space with a touch of luxury, located beside our home in a quiet, rural location and commanding stunning views into the valley. If you desire a quiet space to relax this will be your ideal getaway. Great walks, lovley places to explore, experience tranqui and stunning scenery.
My cabin has been built and decorated with love and passion. We built the cabin to fullfill what we would like in a holiday let and to highlight highland hospitality at its best. The cabin is a special place suitable for weekends, full weeks and business trips alike. It has all the amenities of a high class hotel and more.
We live in a beautiful part of Inverness shire called Kiltarlity, just outside the picturesque village of Beauly. Our property is very rural and quiet surrounded by fields looking into the valley of Strathglass. We are not over looked by other properties with our few neighbours being a field distance away. If your looking for peace and tranquility, this is the place for you. During the day it’s extreamly quiet, at night it’s silent. With no light pollution the stars are spectacular, you can see shooting stars and the amazing Aurora Borealis can be visible.
  • Fantastic place and even better hospitality. The space has everything you’d need for cooking like oil, salt, pepper and other condiments. They’ve also got breakfast options in the room which were sufficient for us since we stayed for a weekend. The place was sparkling clean and very well maintained. I almost didn’t want to get it dirty! Caterina is a very gracious and helpful host who gave us some tips for a nice hike around the house too :)

    Manisha2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was just great, the weather didn’t spoil us but the cabin had everything we needed to fill our time during rainy days. It was very clean and warm. Beautiful scenery. The hosts provided us with fresh bread milk & eggs as well as Scottish tablet & homemade jams and many other shimmy things! Would definitely recommend and I’m sure we will be back in summer!

    Judyta2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • A very personable experience - amazing space and lots of nice little touches! Tranquil location with amazing views. Would love to come back in the summer to make the most of the porch - would definitely recommend! Thank you Nina and Mark

    Ryan2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! You have everything you could possibly need and it's very cozy. The location is awesome and in the nearby town there's a lot of great food. We loved making breakfast with the eggs, bread and various homemade jams provided. We met Caterina's husband, Mark, and he gave us a lot of tips of what to see in the area. We would definitely book this place again when we return to the highlands.

    Darah2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing view on the country side

    Celine2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic two nights spent in this wonderful cabin for Hogmanay. It was spotless, cosy and had everything we needed for a trip away. The personal touches with fresh eggs, tablet and treats for our dog were a really nice touch and just added to our stay. It’s a perfect place for a quiet getaway, with plenty of places to explore. Mark and Nina were lovely and great hosts, helping us with whatever we needed, no wonder it is such a popular place to stay. We loved our time there and would love to visit again one day.

    Graeme2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We didn’t want to leave! This was a 5 star luxury cabin ready for us and our dog. Mark and Caterina have thought of everything in this cabin, making our stay easy and relaxing. The yard is fully enclosed, there were treats left for our dog and there are beautiful off-lead walks straight off the door step. Make sure to try the home made strawberry jam - it’s the best I’ve ever had! We can’t wait to come back!

    Jennifer2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Mark and Nina were very welcoming to us and our fury friend. You wouldn't notice that the cabin is dog friendly in the respect that you wouldn't notice a trace of past dogs staying there, but the cabin was fully prepared for our "little" man. We enjoyed looking out the large windows at the hills (coming from flat East Anglia) and hearing the wind outside as we stayed in December. There was plenty to do, walks, waterfalls, wildlife and plenty of Lochs all nearby and lovely views to enjoy if driving about. We did unfortunately have some disturbed sleep because our dog would walk around during the night and we could hear him shuffling around, so we tried to keep him restricted to a small area to stop him walking around. So potentially bringing a dog crate or pop up barrier might avoid a similar situation for others if you bring your dogs. Completely understand the floor type if ideal for cleanliness and this particular situation we experienced may not impact everyone and is easy to overcome. All in all we loved our stay and felt very welcome. We would definitely go back again.

  • A lovely and cozy glamping spot with easy access to buses into town. Elsie is kind and attentive. The location is peaceful and beautiful. Thank you for your hospitality and sincere concern Elsie. Until next time !

  • Elsie is a fantastic host and the garden room is great value for money.

    Jason2019-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great Glamping accommodation at an excellent price... perfect for my en-route stop-over to doing the North Coast 500 trip on a motorbike. Note... Pay careful attention to Elsies directions, as just being lazy like me and relying on a post code in google maps won't get you there! But following Elsie's instructions and it's very clear!

    Dave2019-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great value compared with any other accommodation for the same price. For me, the biggest things would be privateness of stay with having all useful things one would need during the time spent- fridge, microwave, boiling kettle and much more.. It's bit further from city center though the bus stop is just a minute walk away with decent bus connections. Elsie is great host and if you're looking for something that is more than worth the money you pay.. look no more.

    Jakub2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • A really nice place to stay and Elsie is a lovely thoughtful host. I would definitely stay here again. Very fast wifi, easy access into Inverness. Thank you! :)

  • The room was very clean and lovely. The check in was easy by using a key box. Everything was just great.

    Sabrina2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Elsie's place is adorable and very comfortable. It is very accurate to the description and even better period. It is the most glamorous "glamping" I've ever done. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything is sparkling clean. I liked it so much that I booked another night when I hadn't planned to stay in Inverness a second night. Elsie is a delight! So personable and kind. A perfect hostess and would-be friend. Also, the home looks over the water! Incredible views!

  • Cullaird is such a cosy cottage, a real home from home. A great location for exploring the area, and had all the essential amenities we needed, as well as a few luxuries for us (log fire, bath and the most comfortable bed!). The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, and Tracey gave us a great welcome and recommendations for dinner (we went to MacGregors in town). We would love to return, with friends next time! Thank you Tracey and Dave.

    Beth2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Cullaird Cottage. The house was so cosy (and impressively warm, especially given how cold it got outside!) and the setting was absolutely stunning. The welcome hamper was the icing on top of the cake. Tracey was very easy to communicate with and we felt very relaxed checking in and out. A fantastic trip - would love to come back someday.

  • Weekend getaway. Couldn’t have been more perfect. In the lovely countryside near amazing scenery, and doesn’t feel like it’s only a few minutes from Inverness, which is perfect. The cottage is very ‘fresh’, clean and immaculate. We loved using the wood burner and the dogs loved it too! The garden is completely enclosed and safe for dogs. We made use of a selection of games to while away the evenings instead of watching tv. We found a menu for a ‘Mr Rice’ Chinese takeaway in Inverness in the kitchen, and decided to give it a go. Delivery was fast and It was one of the best Chinese takeaway meals I’ve ever had....highly recommended. There were treats for all the dogs (even the wee dog...great attention to detail and didn’t go unnoticed😁) too, in a generous welcome hamper delivered by David, who was lovely and welcomed us at the cottage. He didn’t mind that we were a bit earlier than I said we’d be! Sorry again! Superb property. Will definitely stay here again on any future trips to Inverness.

    Lynda2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely Cottage, in a fantastic location. Beautiful walks on the doorstep. The cottage was clean, cosy and nicely decorated. Only 5mins from Inverness. The beds were also very comfy! And a very warm welcome from the hosts. Great communication. Thank you!

  • If your looking to stay in Inverness, Cullaird Cottage is the place you’re looking for. Tracey, David and Mya have created such an wonderful atmosphere at Cullaird Cottage, we could have easily stayed in and relaxed. Everything is available, even down to the kiddies plates and cutlery. We will most definitely be back one of these days. Thank you for making our very first trip to Scotland memorable.

  • The cottage is in an ideal location for touring the Highlands and has secure garden which was ideal for us as we have a dog. Very close to Loch Ness and Inverness and within easy reach of Aviemore and many other places. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night break and would definitely recommend this property

    Nigel2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was The Best. I loved our stay here for five nights and would have been happier staying for a lot longer. It was easy access into the centre of Inverness - with own car. Although we slept in everyday because it was just too cosy in very comfortable beds. The gift food hamper was also a very welcome treat. Highly recommend.

Our beautiful Premium Double is a generous sized room with a luxury ensuite, king sized bed, mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and elevated view across Loch Ness.
Pottery House is a 4 Star Gold B&B overlooking Loch Ness in the tranquil village of Dores. Surrounded by woodlands, with beautiful gardens, it's the ideal location for a restful stay, while still within easy reach of much of the Highlands, Inverness and of course Loch Ness.
Pottery House is situated on the hill side overlooking Loch Ness, on the edge of the Loch side village of Dores. We are surrounded by woodlands so it is very quiet at night. There is 1 pub within 10 minutes walk of us called The Dores Inn. They are situated on the banks of Loch Ness, have a beer garden on the Loch side and serve food every day all day until 9pm. Inverness is 10-15 minutes drive away.
  • We had a great stay. The room had the comfort and feel of a good hotel room with the service of a great b&b. The room was so well furnished and comfortable we had a great night. Breakfast was amazing too. Would 100% stay again. Thank you

  • Immaculately clean room and very comfy bed! Wonderful view of Loch Ness. With the best breakfast I’ve ever had! Well worth the money!

  • John and Glen are great hosts. Immediately after the booking we were told by John on the reservation of the Dores Inn, which he then did for us immediately. The communication was excellent and we were warmly welcomed. On our bed was already a plate of huas made delicious cupcakes ready. Coffee, tea and cocoa were in the room. The house is decorated with so much love for details and our room had a great view of Loch Ness. If you are looking for rest and relaxation you will find it here, away from the hustle and bustle of so many cities. The breakfast was extremely good and we could chose from different options. John and Glen value sustainability and use only selected good ingredients. Eggs come from their own chicken and the homemade jam is just a blast. John and Glen love to be hosts.

Perfectly relaxing space to escape the urban world. The South side of Loch Ness is called the quiet side for good reason. A very rural area where there is little laid on entertainment. A five minute walk from the house will get you to nice places at the side of Loch Ness or onto trails in wonderful mixed woodland. The cabin is studio style with fully equipped kitchen (with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, cooking and tableware etc) stocked with teas & coffee and salt and pepper, basic cleaning kit. Lounge area with tv, plenty books and DVDs, WiFi (fair use), dinning table and chairs. The sofa bed would remain folded up on arrival to keep space at a maximum till required. Plenty storage and hangers in the wardrobe and area to dry wet gear. Hair drier and hair tongs also provided. Other things, if it is at all cold ample heating so even in the worst weather you would be warm, dry and cosy. Secure and safe place for cars, cycles and motorbikes in off street parking. The Tiny House is in a the small hamlet of houses next to the main route from Inverness to Fort Augustus on the south side of Loch Ness - an increasingly popular tourist touring route but not as busy as the other side. If anything is required that is not on hand please ask, I would be glad to help. Best of all, if the weather is good, back kitchen door opens onto sun deck, garden furniture in porch and bbq available.
A rural location close to lovely walks on Loch Ness or in the Inverfarigaig woodlands and pastoral scenery from the house. The closest shop, post office and cafes and hotels are 2.2 miles away in Foyers. A small village and a nice walk (1/2 hr - 1hr) or short drive away. Other good places are about 8 miles away on lovely drives. About a twenty minute drive will get you to the larger village of Fort August with the famous Caledonian canal or in the other direction Inverness, the highland capital. Your own transport is helpful to get the best from the area but there is a limited bus service that stops almost at our door.
  • This tiny house was perfect for our little family and dog. Location was great, amenities were fab and the host was really friendly and helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you

    Billie2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Carolyn's Tiny House is absolutely perfect. Even in December it is seriously cosy and we loved cuddling up and listening to the rain on the roof while our dog Leia relaxed after a long walk. The location is perfect for beautiful walks and handy for Inverness. Where you can visit by bus to go to pubs like the Black Isle Brewery or the wee Cafe at the waterfall in Foyers. In addition, you can easily drive or take public transport to many other gorgeous places liken Nairn to take in views at the beach. Perfect for pooches running around on the sand dunes but remember to keep them on the lead if you are in the mountains for safety! On that note Carolyn was wonderfully welcoming to Leia. She was happy to have her there so long as we kept the place clean of muddy paw and boot marks! Leia even had toys provided for her stay! In a nutshell if you want somewhere clean and cosy that will provide that long needed break from the world then this is the place. There is everything that you could possibly need to walk, do tourist things or chill out in a Highland heaven all in one neat wee package.

  • Carolyn made the lovely effort of switching the lights and heating on before our arrival, as we were getting there late in the day, so it felt very welcoming and toasty. It is a very cosy and clean little cabin, with everything we needed for a great couple of nights. Lots of helpful info and booklets on the surrounding area which was a nice touch too.

My place is close to Loch Ness and public transport links to Inverness. You’ll love my place because of the natural light, modern open plan living space and mature woodland garden. My place is good for solo adventurers. I work from home running a natural yarn dyeing business, Loch Ness Knitting. So I am on hand to provide information about the local area. Please be aware we also have two friendly cats.
First Floor bedroom, with single bed. Traditional sloped ceiling and large window. Your bathroom with power shower is adjacent to the room.
The village of Drumnadrochit is at the heart of Loch Ness. We are within walking distance of the Nessieland and Loch Ness exhibition centres. Boat trips to explore the Loch and Castle Urquhart are also available in the village centre. For evening meals we recommend booking the Fiddlers or the Loch Ness Inn. Cafes and Pubs in the village centre are also excellent. For a hearty breakfast we recommend the A82 cafe around the corner from the house.
  • Beautiful modern home in the heart of Loch Ness. Amazing surroundings and easy to get to everything.

Brian could not have been more helpful, we really enjoyed chatting to him. The cabin has all you need for your stay and the wee Woodburner made it lovely and cosy. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Something that really impressed us: everything about it is eco friendly - from composting toilet to all products offered. Just perfect! Brian is a great host and gave us all possible booklets and tips. As many already said, We also got to see badgers during the night as they went to Brian’s house to be fed, so I don’t think you can miss it.

  • A must stay for wildlife lovers! Myself, my husband and our 8 month old had a truly amazing stay. The log cabin is cosy, yet roomy and had all of the amenities we needed; we especially enjoyed the log fire. The setting and abundance of wildlife are breathtaking . We saw badgers up close, a family of red squirrels, Sika deer and her fawn, an array of birds and were even lucky enough to see a pine marten! What makes this place special are the hosts. Brian goes the extra mile and was always on hand to chat, give tips on places to visit and to aid us in spotting the wildlife. We hope to come back and will recommend this place to all of our friends and family. Thank you for having us 😊

    Lisa2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • If you want to be close to the nature of Scotland then this is the place to come to! Have you ever seen a pine marten? If you have I bet you've never fed one! Have you seen a red squirrel? Have you ever fed a family of badgers? You will if you stay here! Brian is a super super-host. He greeted us and showed us into the log cabin, which is equipped with everything you will need. There's a fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, oven, microwave, plenty of cupboards. The living space is not at all cramped. There is a large TV with Sky. A wood burner with coal and logs supplied if you wish to light it. Brian had it already lit for us on arrival which was a lovely touch. The bedroom is ample and the shower room is small but functional. The log cabin is at the bottom end of a very large garden, set in a very rural wooded area where the wildlife is abundant. Brian made us very welcome and invited us to his house in the evening so we could watch the badgers and pine marten feeding. It was a very thrilling experience.and was the highlight of our trip around Scotland.

  • A lovely night at a farmhouse country retreat in Inverness - a wonderful thought which came true for our family of 4. We wanted to stay in Inverness with a difference and we got more out of it in Joanna’s place. It was cosy, comfortable and quiet (considering it’s overlooking A82), and what a morning view we had! Joanna was an unbelievable gracious host. She accommodated our earlier-than-scheduled check-in and met (almost instantly) our additional requests of daily necessities. To top it off, we got to play with his dog Bella, and obtained tips on local spots to add to our travelling plan. It was indeed a night well-spent, and well-rested for us, in Inverness.

It was lovely and clean and nice and cosy. Joanna was a great host, she communicated well throughout and met us on arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely like to stay again.

  • Joanna’s place is located in a wonderful, quiet country setting. Perfect for disconnecting, the wifi is also intermittent, which adds to the peacefulness. Highly recommended!

  • A lovely little tranquil location, which was lovely and clean throughout, very spacious with amazing views. The double bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing! I would definitely love to come back in Spring/Summer :) 100% recommend staying here if you would like a quiet get away, but only a 10 minute drive to the centre of Inverness.

Welcome to our traditional croft house with stunning views of Loch Ness from every room. We welcome pets and children but are also an ideal base for couples due to our quiet but central location a mile from the home of the Loch Ness monster, 14 miles from the city of Inverness and an hour away from the west coast of Scotland. For more information on the many attractions nearby see www.visitinvernesslochness.com and read our reviews to find out more.
Our cottage is comfortable and cosy with everything you need for your stay.
Drumnadrochit is a picturesque village just 14 miles from Inverness. The village has several cafes, two pubs which serve food, a post office, co-op and two museums devoted to the Loch Ness monster. Inverness has a wealth of facilities including a wonderful arts centre (www.eden-court.co.uk) and sports centre (www.invernessleisure.co.uk)
  • Absolutely lovely cottage with unbelievable views of Loch Ness and the adorable village of Drumnadrochit. Easy drive to Inverness, and so many local attractions to keep you occupied if you don't want to just sit and enjoy the view of the sheep!

  • We had a lovely time atBoxys Croft, unfortunately the weather impacted train journeys so my daughters could nt make it. Watching the weather move a it’s the loch was unbeatable , the cost fire and we hope to come back as soon as we can!

  • We had a lovely stay. The house was great for families and dogs. Although we went in the winter there was a fire set up for our arrival and central heating on. The views are breath taking and with a piano in the dining room there was never a dull moment. Alun recommended walks which I took our dogs on close by. We also went pony treking. There is so much to see and do and Boxy Croft is an ideal base. The house itself is well equipped for cooking and relaxing. The beds are very comfy and rooms spacious. There was ample parking close to the house and shops are a 5 minute drive away. We never managed to fit it in but there was a wee cafe at the bottom of the road that does home baking etc. We only wished we could have stayed longer.

    Kerrie2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great location up on the hill overlooking Loch Ness. Katherine was very helpful showing us around the house and offering some great local advise of places to explore. Would definitely return for a longer period, so much to see in the local area and close to Inverness.

    Rachel2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • A quaint cottage hidden in the countryside with the most mesmerising views of the Loch. A must stay

    Sumant2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely little house with great accommodation and fantastic views. Alun and his family are really welcoming and generous. Lovely walks from the door but the house is full of comfort, a piano, games and films, so if the weather's not great staying in until the sun reappears isn't so bad!

    Katie2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • A stunning rare find in the Highlands...Alun, Katie, Sam, Felicity and Skye welcomed us so warmly and the cottage is a little piece of heaven. Log fire, great rustic feel and everything you need close by. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much for the hospitality and much needed break away. John, Christine, Jacqui and Estelle

  • Firstly, what a wonderful place to stay, high quality property with wonderful views and amazing hot tub. Although a ½ hour drive from Inverness the property is easy to get too, set away from almost everything it's idyllic setting is a wonderful get away. Enjoy time in the wonderfully warm heated property looking over the snow topped mountains or if you opt for the optional hot tub, do the same whilst enjoying the bubbles of the hot tub and prosecco. Thanks for a really enjoyable break with everything you need for a great stay.

    Ian2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay, I highly recommend this house and location. Hot tub is good, apartment looks great, is easy to access and beds are comfy. Views are outstanding. The welcome pack was also super helpful.

    Roselyn2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for views and stargazing from the hot tub! Great for dogs with the enclosed back garden. Loads of great walks nearby. Freezer, fridge&separate wine fridge provide more than adequate storage space! Bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms are luxurious. Amazon echo and smart TVs are great touches. There is a cottage right next door but it's still very private out the back and feel like you're in the middle of nowhere due to views. A wee tip would be to take some games and books as there are none in the house.

A wonderful space for a quiet Highland break in a B-listed Scottish Baronial-style mansion built in 1866. Completely self-contained with its own secure entrance and free parking. Secluded and peaceful location but just a short 15 minute drive from the vibrant Inverness City Centre.
Our distinctive Highland apartment is located in the hamlet of Lentran, just a short drive from Inverness. It is entirely self-contained with its own front door. Ideally suited for business or pleasure, for up to two guests. The apartment includes one bedroom with a double bed and double wardrobe, modern bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge freezer and washer/dryer washing machine. A comfortable living room with dining table and TV and access to some premium channels – Netflix, Prime Video etc. High speed Wifi is also included - password in the Apartment Handbook. We live 20 minutes away so will be around if you need us. We provide a self-catering service, but are delighted to help out with any assistance or questions you may have. The apartment is a self-contained annex within a larger building. Built in 1866 it was originally the kitchen area of the main mansion. In nearby Inverness city, there are lovely independent cafes and bars, the Eastgate Shopping Centre and all the main shops, bars and restaurants. The High Street leads down to the River Ness and the excellent Eden Court Theatre which has a wonderful cinema and regularly plays host to theatre, ballet, opera etc. Take a walk along the river to Ness Islands or out to the Caledonian Canal, part of the Great Glen Way. Whether you're a city lover or an outdoor type, Inverness caters for the best of both without having to travel far. Driving the North Coast 500 Route (NC500)? We are in an ideal location for either starting or ending your journey. The apartment offers a convenient base for those visiting or working temporarily in the area. Free parking is available to the left of the outside door. The apartment is ideal for a couple or a single traveller. Approximate distances from Inverness and Beauly, 6.5miles (10km).
  • Jackie's place was wonderful. Very easy 15min drive from both Inverness city center and the town of Beauly, depending on which way you turn out of the driveway. She had an abundance of local information pamphlets, dining suggestions, coffee/tea supplies and plenty of spare toiletries. Her house is very clean, and cozy, she had even left a dram of Tomatin whiskey for each of us, which was a very thoughtful touch. She replied very quickly if we had questions about the area. If you're looking for Loch Ness (less than 30 min to the loch and the castle) or if you're looking for Highland Cows (15m drive through Beauly to a fresh produce farm/store), you'll find both in easy reach of this charming, modern, beatiful residence.

  • Where to begin... One of the best Airbnb experiences that we’d had! Jackie is an outstanding host. She showed us around, helped us with walking trail tips and made sure we felt right at home. The house was squeaky clean, had thoughtful touches, had everything we needed and felt just like a real home. Would highly recommend staying here!

  • Had a wonderful experience staying here. The apartment was way better than anything we could have hoped for. Clean, spacy and equipped with all you might possibly need. The host was also lovely, very welcoming, quick to answer any messages and eager to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Looking forward to returning on future holidays!

  • Spent two nights in this beautiful, sparklingly clean and extremely comfortable apartment to visit friends and family and do a bit of exploring. It is in a perfect location for exploring Inverness, Loch Ness and beyond. Wonderful service from Jacqueline from booking until checkout. The communication, directions and check-in information was spot on. There were lots of lovely touches included in the apartment (especially grateful for the great coffee maker). It is part of a beautiful country house with the added bonus of a private entrance and parking immediately outside the apartment. The cosy lounge area is perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring and the Wi-Fi signal is excellent. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need could possibly need if you want to try your hand at some of Scottish recipes from the cookery books in the apartment. There's a good variety of other books if you want to brush up on a bit of Scottish history or expand your knowledge about the surrounding area too. Excellent storage in the bedroom and the bed is extremely comfortable. Great shower and ample fluffy towels. We had a lovely stay and have found our 'go to' home from home for our next visit.

  • Fantastic apartment in a beautiful baronial mansion in the gorgeous Scottish highlands, not far from Inverness and lots of lovely, special attractions which made my visit exceptional. Thank you Jackie for all you did to make my stay so special. Would recommend this flat without hesitation to anyone looking for a relaxing get away and fabulous place to stay. Hope to return for longer next time to explore more.

Freshly decorated apartment in a very central location in the old part of Inverness City. Five minute walk to the train station and close to lots of lovely pubs and restaurants. River Ness is at the bottom of the street with a bridge crossing leading directly to the town centre.
Our apartment is bright and cosy with everything you'll need to enjoy your stay. We have fibre broadband, a DVD player and digital TV. We've just decorated the entire apartment, including new carpets and electric heating. We have a memory foam topped double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Please note, we do not provide bedding for the sofa bed for under 3 guests unless requested. We can also provide an infant travel cot and high chair if required. We have integrated smoke detectors, a fire blanket and a fire safety apartment door lock. There's also a secure area for up to 2 bikes.
It's a reasonably quiet area, although more lively at the weekend. There are several outstanding restaurants within a few minutes walk and a large supermarket 1 minute away. There's a pharmacy, newsagent, beauty salon, barbers and take-away right outside the apartment. There's a pedestrian bridge at the bottom of the street taking you to the heart of Inverness City or you can access the roads to Fort William, Wick, Aviemore, Aberdeen or the North Coast 500 at the other end of the street. You really couldn't be better located.
  • A really comfortable and cosy appartment and an incredibly thoughtful host. Great location, everything you could wish for an enjoyable stay and so many extra touches. A great find.

  • This was easily the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! It was spotlessly clean, wonderfully located, and the little touches like books and DVDs really made it feel homey. I found the bed incredibly comfortable too, and the shortbread and tablet Becky left at check in were a lovely surprise. The next time I’m in Inverness I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

    Claire2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Becky was very kind and attentive from the moment I made my reservation. The communication was very good and recommended very good places to visit in Inverness. Its flat is very beautiful, beautiful decoration and cozy atmosphere. Very clean and excellent location, one block from the Ness River. It was perfect for us who were driving because we could park for free in two streets near the building.

    Jordan2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful space! I found it easiest to use taxi for transport, since I wouldn't say the city centre is within walking distance. There is a lovely nature trail just behind the house. The house is gorgeous and new, be mindful of keeping it clean since they obviously work so hard to make it nice for you. Keep in mind that this is a family home with a family that lives in it. Everyone is amazingly friendly and welcoming, but if you do not want to encounter children, you should look elsewhere. Overall, I had an amazing and comfortable stay!

The Bothy is a traditional travellers' dwelling place (bothy) of which many can be found throughout the Scottish Highlands. Betty's Bothy has recently been tastefully renovated with modern features to provide comfort for today's travellers. It's nestled in a quiet little corner of the picturesque village of Drumnadrochit on Loch Ness, with a quick walk to cafés, restaurants, shops and many tourist attractions and activities.
The side wall of The Bothy is south facing which means that the sun shines in the window at the front in the morning then slowly moves round to the side where it stays most of the day (weather permitting). This is a nice spot to sit outside and take in the view of the hills. There is a lawn to the front of The Bothy, which includes a parking space for guests' use. The Bothy is in a very pretty spot and a short walk up the hill will give you fabulous views over the loch. It is surrounded by trees, so you will hear beautiful birdsong in the morning and if you listen very carefully, owls hooting in the evening.
Drumnadrochit is a picturesque and popular tourist village set on the side of Loch Ness. There are many sights and landmarks including Urquhart Castle (open all year), which has a prominent position overlooking the loch, Corrimony Chambered Cairn, the loch itself and the breath-taking views from Meall Fuar-Mhonaidh, to name a few. There are many walks of all levels from the village and Glen Affric is 15 miles to the west of Drumnadrochit. Apart from the beauty and wildlife of Glen Affric, it's a place with endless opportunities for sightseeing and outdoor activities. There is also a Munro or two for the eager hill walker. From April to October there is an extensive list of activities available to suit everyone. The Loch cruises are particularly popular but you can also book water sports activities at the tourist Information centre or in some of the souvenir shops. Drumnadrochit has a number of excellent cafés and restaurants and The Village Green is a popular place for picnics.
  • The cottage was cute and cosy. We loved it. It was warm and inviting.

  • This is a beautiful little place to stay in a really nice location. There’s plenty to do around the local area and in Inverness. Jacqui ensured there was plenty of information on the local area and even recommended places to visit. There was plenty of tea, coffee and milk and even shortbread! Inside there’s lots to keep you entertained in the evening (DVD’s, games, tv etc). I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re into scenery and a peaceful stay. Thanks Jacqui we’ll be back soon!

    Reece2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Jacqui's place. Jacqui is a really nice and friendly host. The place was really nice and cosy with loads of games and movies to keep you entertained. The location is really peaceful and close to beautiful nature. The location was perfect for us as we didn't go in a car. The time we spent there was absolutely magical and we definitely would want to go back!

    Matineh2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • The Bothy was brilliant and exactly as advertised. Would definitely recommend!

    Timothy2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Bettys bothy is probably my favourite ever find on Airbnb! Location was ideal for us as we didn’t have a car, so was within walking distance to bus stop, shop and restaurant. There is no phone signal in the Bothy, which for us was perfect as it gave us some much needed time offline. There are lots of books and dvds to keep you entertained if the weather isn’t so great. We had such a comfortable stay and thoroughly enjoyed all the lovely little touches Jacqui left. Thank you!

    Megan2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice location (central highlands, right near Loch Ness), on a very quiet back-road (only one car drove past us), really clean, nice touches (complimentary shortbread!), Jacqui was really friendly with quick replies, and it was great to stay in a traditional style bothy.
