Beautiful space to come to when I was very much in need. A very cool little first floor apartment space with awesome views facing east. Big amazing sunrise energy coming right in through the window in the morning.... so great ! Great little place to hunker down just outside of the main town there on Salt Spring.

Robin and Mercer's place was perfect for us. It was perched up high and had some great views from the front lawn of the bay/islands/mountain range. The apt was clean and comfortable and had a cozy country - cabin feel. We hardly saw them and felt like we had our privacy as needed but Mercer was helpful and quick to respond when needed.

The Divine view suite was honestly the highlight of our trip. It was so beautiful. The sun room was gorgeous. The overlook of the bay was amazing. It was quiet and relaxing and comfortable. We could have just stayed in all week easily enjoying the place rather than going out exploring haha. Definitely would stay there again!

Our stay at the divine suite on salt spring was very pleasant. We were greeted by our hosts on arrival they were friendly and kind. The suite was as described and clean. Great location ,close to town although I'd recommend a car we considered biking and were thankful for our car once there as salt spring is very hilly and the divine suite is uphill. We had a great time. Thank you Robin and Mercer!!!

Robin and Mercer were easy to communicate with and made us feel very welcome. They have a great location with a spectacular view. You do need a car to get there. We had a lovely visit.

Ishbel's guest suite was fantastic! It was supplied with everything we needed and more. It was a perfect space just as described on the listing, close to the village. Everything was clearly instructioned, and we had a lovely time! Totally exceeded expectations!

We loved the Ganges garden studio experience. The pictures don't do it justice. It is esthetically pleasing and beautiful in every way - a place where you can just enjoy hanging out in. We made use of the beautiful fully stocked kitchen and enjoyed tea out of the little Japanese tea pot and cups and reveled in the lovely bedroom atmosphere- serene and very comfortable. Ishbel was warm and welcoming and to start the magic of this experience we were greeted by a red-headed sapsucker who peered at us from a little tree by the driveway and wasn't at all afraid of us. Ishbel looked up the name of this little fellow right after our initial greeting. We definitely want to come back! Thank you Ishbel!

The suite is cozy and had everything we needed. We absolutely loved it. It is very well laid out and the bedroom is spacious, The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get out of it. The location was great.

Ishbel was very quick to respond to my questions prior to my arrival. She was friendly in person and gave me a quick but thorough explanation of how the electronics worked and where supplies were kept. The cottage is beautifully decorated and the small kitchenette had everything I needed. Everything was squeaky clean. The yard is very pretty with lovely garden views out the windows. The location is within walking distance of downtown Ganges and the Saturday Market. I could hear, only through open windows, the happy sounds of children playing in the school fields. I spent a relaxing evening listening to Ishbel's eclectic collection of Cds - that was an unexpected surprise. I recommend this cottage.

Isabel's place is a gem. It is cozy and quiet. You are walking distance from everything, shops, restaurants, groceries, pubs, galleries everything anyone could want. And if you have a car you can explore all parts of the island. There are walking trails, bike trails all well maintained. Isabel's place is perfectly situated. I highly recommend it.

There is a good size bedroom with plenty of closet space, shelves and a large chest for placing your luggage on. The sitting area is very cozy and comfortable. A galley type kitchen is well stocked with spices, oil, paper towel, coffee and tea. I particularly liked the large bathroom counter and the abundant places to hang towels. The whole places is beautifully decorated with interesting art and has many little extras like an iron, flashlight light, maps, and information about the area. Ishbel's home is in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located a short walk to many restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the summer.

Cozy! Adorable space and great location.

Ishbel is the best host! She had graciously accommodated our late arrival (due to late evening ferry to the island) and was most welcoming. We were shown around and immediately felt very comfortable and cozy. The studio is attached to the main house but feels very private. It is probably best for couples or close friends/relatives who can share a bed. The space is small but well thought out and functional, and has everything you might possibly need. You won't find cheap dollar store stuff here - everything is top notch and high quality, starting from bath essentials and ending with furnishings. The bed linens (and the bed!) are heavenly. There are a lot of wall outlets for all your gadget needs - this is something that doesn't happen often! We never managed to take a walk to the village but it is indeed very close and convenient. This host and place are highly recommended! We will try to book this studio again next time we're on SSI. Thank you Ishbel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amy & Josh's beautiful home. The suite was even prettier in person. The location was nice, very peaceful. Even though it was a bit away from Ganges, we did quite well timing our trips to town around the bus schedule. Also, that the bus picked up right outside the house was a definite bonus! For fun, we rented scooters when we arrived on our first day to explore the island. Such a fun way to get around! Amy and Josh were great with responding really quickly to any questions we had. We unfortunately didn't actually get a chance to meet them, but we still felt very welcome in their home. Would love to come back and visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Suite. It was a great location and the place was very nice. There were many personal touches that made us feel welcome and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Communication from Amy was helpful & timely throughout. We arrived to flowers in bloom on the deck, lovely gifts from Salt Spring Natural Soap company, a bottle of wine, fresh fruit, Salt Spring coffee and teas. The most wonderful treat was a knock on the door morning of Brad's birthday and our wedding anniversary. Sisters Lola and Maya (perhaps 4 & 6 years) presented us with a basket of still warm home made cinnamon rolls. Precious girls and delicious pastry! Sunset Suite was as advertised, clean with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and large tile shower with good water pressure. Vesuvius is a wonderful location, quiet with walking trails nearby. Also within walking distance is a terrific waterfront restaurant at the ferry dock as well as local beach access, all offering gorgeous sunset views. Amy, Josh & kids live upstairs and are terrific hosts - available to assist guests, and respectful of privacy. We would rent Sunset Suite again on a return visit.

We had a great two night stay at Sunset Suite. The suite was very clean, private and larger than what appears in the pictures. There's a nice sitting area and the TV was a great size for watching Netflixs. There's a lovely balcony for watching the beautiful sunsets in Vesuvius. The bed is comfortable and there were nice fluffy towels and a lovely rain shower in the bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped for anyone wishing to have a longer stay. Vesuvius is a wonderful area - very convenient to Ganges and the beaches. We would highly recommend staying here. Our communications with Josh and Amy were always timely and they were very helpful in answering any questions. We will be back!

I booked the suite on behalf of my parents as a surprise mini-getaway, and throughout the process Amy was so helpful and considerate, and very quick to respond to any questions. My parents had an amazing time, they loved the space (and the granola!) and said that they would definitely come back. Thanks for everything!

While we did not meet Amy and Josh, they were readily available via text to make sure we have everything we needed. The home is in a great location, and there's a lovely view of the water from the deck.

Sunset suite was the perfect place for a getaway from city life. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked! My fiancé and I appreciated all the little touches that were above and beyond our expectations (ie. the info sheet with recommendations, homemade granola, yoghurt and even some beer!!)

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay at Amy and Josh's. The house was beautiful, clean and well staked. The view was SPECTACULAR! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful stay on the island; I'd love to stay there again.

Quiet rural setting. Perfect for our visit to the "Raptors" attraction. Comfortable and renovated suite that looks even better in person. Breakfast supplies for our first morning were provided in the fridge and cupboards. There is a Tassimo coffee maker. We were able to self check in and hosts came to check with us later to see if there was anything we needed. Would stay again. Excellent value.

Jeannette and Dean were wonderful hosts. Great communication, friendly, helpful and generous. The area is just stunning, easily accessible to town via car. Great area to run/cycle/hike. It was easy to find and parking was convenient onsite. The suite was top notch. Clean, new, spacious, fully equipped, comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond with an amenity basket and treats in the kitchen. The hot tub and pool were also a bonus! You will not find better value than Jeannette and Deans place!

My husband and I traveled to Vancouver Island to watch our son's rowing regatta on Shawnigan Lake. Jeannette's place provided us with everything we need during our 3-day stay. The suite had a fully equipped kitchen, was extremely clean and spacious. When I asked about early check-in, she was able to accommodate our request. The place is best accessed by car as we do not notice too many transit buses pass by during our stay. With your own vehicle, you can reach town in 5-7 minutes. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back some day.

Loved the place!! Nice walk to town. Clean, roomy and private. Felt very safe. The back deck was a nice way to start the day! The morning sun felt wonderful while having breakfast out there. Only suggestion would be to have a king size bed, (only because that is what I sleep on at home, not use to smaller bed) defiantly have room for it! Would return again!! Thank you for letting us stay!!

The Gallery B&B was as advertised. It was nice that they were conducting a woodcut workshop in the gallery while we were there. Although I did not attend, it, along with the gallery opening on Saturday added to the atmosphere. The food left for breakfast was wonderful, homemade granola and jam, fresh Island made bread, organic yogurt and excellent coffee. The hosts are very obliging and friendly. It is about 3/4 mile along a somewhat busy road into Salt Spring. While we did it several times it is not the most pleasant walk, most people would probably drive into town.

We had a wonderful time at the Gallery B&B. Celia and Nick were gracious hosts, sharing insights about their beautiful island and community. The suite and amenities were as described - lovely, spacious, and quiet, and conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Ganges. We also took advantage of the in-room library; we each read a book during our stay. Though there were many island dining options, we prepared two dinners (with locally sourced food) in the suite. Just like home! We appreciated the visits from Decker, the cat (but made sure that he didn't come into our suite). Thank you Celia and Nick.

Located only a few blocks from town, everything is very accessible. Private setting. Easy to find and very bike friendly.

Great place to stay! The B&B was very clean and had a lovely ambience. The breakfast supplies were appreciated and sustained us throughout the day. If you come to Salt Spring without a car, this is a good location. It's walking distance to Ganges and bus driver even dropped us by the road on the way from the ferry. We also used the bus again to get around the island. Would recommend.

The suite is very neat and cozy, and in a beautiful setting. It's best to travel by car on the island, but the suite is not far from the Ganges, where there are nice restaurants, cafes, galleries and shops. The breakfast foods that Celia prepared us were amazing, more than enough for our 3-day stay! Thank you Celia and Nick, we would definitely come back!

Great two bedroom basement sweet with an amazing shower. Very short walk down the street to the waterside and shops of Ganges. Hosts were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area and provided brochures and pamphlets and menus of nearby locations. I felt the space was above and beyond was expected. Would definitely stay again.

kim was awesome! so nice! and the place was solid. little tip tho: The taxis only take cash. and because its a bit far from dow town (about $14 ride), id reccomend watching your spending with that. the experience was worth it and kim was an EXCELLENT host. everyone should stay here! :)))

We stayed a week with Kim and enjoyed her cozy space! She was so kind and made sure there was gluten free bread for us and almond milk and even did a load of emergency baby laundry for us! The place is so pretty and we really enjoyed watching all the humming birds out front! Next time we're on Salt Spring we hope to stay again!

We had a great stay here! The place was exactly what we hoped and just a short drive from town. Kim was an amazing host.

Kim's place was perfect for our little family. We stayed here with our 1.5 year old son for one night and I so wish we could have stayed longer. The layout of the unit is great and the best part is that the unit is in a self contained building so we didn't have to worry about people being disturbed (by a baby who didn't want to sleep!). The bed was comfy and there was a great selection of Disney VHS movies. If we are able to get back to Salt Spring in the summer, Kim's will be our first choice for sure.

Salt Spring Island is the perfect romantic getaway for the weekend! Kim, our host was very sweet and accommodating, kept in contact to make sure we had everything we needed. The space is comfortable for two people, super clean and equipped. I 100% recommend staying here! You won't be disappointed :)

It was perfect! Leslie & Richard were amazing host ! We were greeted by Leslie, she was very welcoming and very helpful. On our first day she took us to this old pub near Ladysmith, it was a very unique pub as it used to be a house. The food was really good too. Leslie and Richard are wonderful host, Their seaside escape is truly a relaxing getaway.

This was my first Airbnb experience and it was a wonderful start. The studio was exactly like the photos, clean and perfectly organized, everything I needed was there, plus extras I didn't expect. The atmosphere and the neighborhood are a jewel. Peaceful, natural--just lovely to look at, with the sea and the sky and the animal life all right there. Whether I stayed home for the day to chill or got out exploring, I felt at home and at peace. This studio is perfect for a couple or single seeking solitude, privacy and a beautiful environment. It's a perfect location to explore the island either north or south, and the village, conveniences, and the highway are right at the doorstep yet the location is tranquil and private. It's a very quick half hour to the ferry, and the driving in every direction is beautiful. Leslie and her husband went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome, and they left me alone to do my thing, but were right there in a heartbeat when I had a question or needed something. They are not just good hosts but perfectly lovely people and they really care about your comfort. I was welcome to my own private deck, and I could go down to the sea and sit on their deck by the water if I wanted to. I was so glad I picked this place as I was traveling alone and it was my first time not picking a hotel. This studio has everything. Probably not suitable for a dog or the elderly since there is a lot of steps down to the sea and a couple levels up to the road. But for anyone else--it's a spectacular choice and I will go back. It was so great to have my own kitchen and laundry and be able to be self-sufficient. I will go with Airbnb on future trips for sure.

Seaside escape is so well equipped, everything a person could want. The views were absolutely gorgeous!

It's a fairly surreal experience to wake up to the views seen from Leslie's home. My wife and I live very hectic lives and the Seaside Escape was the perfect place to unwind. Not only are the views amazing, but very close proximity to outdoor trails was a huge plus. Seaside Escape itself is a very cozy, warm, clean suite, filled with plenty of "knick knacks" that put a smile on your face (clock attached to post). I'd highly recommend this Seasise Escape to any couple looking for a weekend retreat. Leslie, thank you very, very much for not leaving more pumpkin bread loaf. I probably wouldn't be able to stop myself from eating it all! (Apologies to my wife!)

Leslie was a great host. Her apartment is stunning and one of a kind. It indeed turned out to be the most awesome part of our 3 weeks vacation. The location is just stunning. You awake in the morning and the first thing you see is water right in front of you! In addition all the details in the apartment are wonderfully put together! Every detail is well thought through! Leslie even provided some baked goods, coffee and a lot of basic food stuff! We really enjoyed our time and already started recommending the accommodation to our Vancouver friends.

We absolutely loved Leslie and Richard's home. The room was clean, very well appointed, and the view was spectacular....even better than the photos. It was wonderful to be able to use the propane firepit on the lower deck in the evening. It felt like our own private oasis. The location is great as Ladysmith is quite centrally located to everything. Although the town itself is not super "touristy" (which to us is a bonus), it had some great little restaurants and antique shops to explore. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Seaside Escape was exactly as presented. It was absolutely beautiful! There were so many nice extra touches. (chocolates, ideas about the area) Outstanding view! We spent one afternoon just sitting on the balcony.

A relaxing private apartment with great view of Fulford Harbour. The apartment had all the amenities you need for a weekend away. The area is well connected to Ganges/Long Harbour with a regular bus service which passes by the Island's wineries and brewery.

Lovely place, really clean and cozy. It's about a 10 minute drive to town so if you don't have a car it might not be the easiest but it's very close to the wineries and brewery which was amazing, overall really great

We spent a week there to celebrate our 40th anniversary and had a wonderful time. We were greeted with a container of fresh granola and a nice note from Catherine. Everything we needed was provided. It was a quiet and private setting. The perfect base for exploring beautiful Saltspring Island. We would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to friends.

Apartment was great! Bright and spacious. Perfect for a few days away. They have everything you could need. Don't forget to check out the phosphorescence if you can. Amazing! Maybe bring your own drinking water, they're on well and the sulphur may bother some .

The piano is a unique amenity for an airbnb. We live in an apartment that doesn't have one, so it was a special treat for my wife to stay here and play. The apartment is spacious, bright and situated on the quiet end of the island. We bought local cheese and wine and sat on the deck as the birds chirped and the ferry came and went. We had a wonderfully relaxing getaway here.

What a treat! The incredible panoramic ocean/mountain views and the lush surrounding gardens make a grand first impression and then the home... impeccably clean, attention to the finest detail, a gourmet kitchen (wishing I could take it back with me!), the nicest linens, and a feeling of "I could just stay forever". Ladysmith itself a delight to explore, perfect access for hiking, kayaking or paddleboarding but as well central for adventuring to Victoria or other island attractions. The hosts were fantastic from the flexibility to allow an early check-in, to the warm and caring welcome on arrival, and their knowledge of the area. This home will truly leave you feeling pampered in its tranquil setting, carefully chosen furnishings, colours and details and beautiful patio space with bbq. Amazing value! Thank you....

Norm and Linda's place was well above expectations. I was their first AirBnB guest and I travel a lot for work so I have seen many different homes. I will for sure be back here if I am ever in the area. Everything you need is in the AirBnB. Everything is clean and everything is perfect. I have no regrets and no complaints. Please make sure you book this place immediately if you see it as I doubt it will be listed for long at this rate. :) Thanks so much guys!

What a great stay. We were moving to Ladysmith and needed a transition space during the move. Linda and Norm's place had all things you hope to have at an airbnb and then some. Fully stocked kitchen with proper gear to make full, family sized meals. Very nice bathroom with plush, high quality linens in both the bed and bathrooms. There is a great covered, outdoor deck/patio space with chairs and tables to sit and enjoy a meal outdoors while appreciating the beautiful waterfront views. Our family had a wonderful stay and will be recommending Linda and Norm's to friends and family who come to town.

Norm and Linda's place is everything you could possibly want in an Airbnb. First off, the view of the water is phenomenal. There is a lovely patio and well kept backyard that only add to the ambiance. We loved it so much that we decided to cook in / carry out both nights instead just to enjoy the view. Secondly, the interior of the unit is like-new, extremely clean and has everything you need... coffee, tea, cooking supplies, brita water, even slippers! Staying at Norm and Linda's allowed us the comfort and view to thoroughly enjoy the Ladysmith area, and I highly recommend it to all visitors.

Great place, with a great view. Full access the back yard with a bbq was nice. The kitchen has everything you need, very well equipped. Norm was friendly, we didn't get the chance to met Linda but I'm sure she's lovely as well. Over all a great place to stay, very private and cozy. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 3 nights for a Mother's Day treat. The suite was very comfortable and exceptionally appointed and clean. We loved the view and the garden and the proximity to the park, supermarket, and the town centre. The bed was so cozy it was very hard to get up when our 2-year old girl woke up. Very private and quiet. Thank you!!!

Linda and Norm's place is a little jewel. Easy access, close to everything, although much easier if you have a car or bike to get around. the view from the porch is breathtaking. We had a great time relaxing by the electric fireplace at night and going off on adventures to the beach and historical Ladysmith area during the day! Nothing but good reviews. Cheers! PS. check out the Raptor bird of prey conservatory just past Duncan. very much so worth your time if you enjoy falconry and flight demonstrations from experienced staff.

Norm and Linda are so welcoming. Their place is so cozy and everything is done to make sure nothing is missed. Also the view from the terrace is amazing! It is very well located and easy to go to the north or the south of the island. I definitly recommend this place!

Trish made us feel so at home. Her place is so big and beautiful. I don't think the Airbnb pictures did it justice. We got there and felt like we hit the airbnb jackpot. Trish also had an awesome breakfast ready for us in the fridge. We read about this breakfast from other airbnb'ers and Trish didn't disappoint. The ocean view was so peaceful, the bed was so comfortable. We left saying it was the best place we have ever stayed anywhere. Something about it felt like a second home. We also bonded with Trish and think she's just awesome.

Trish was the perfect host, and what a location! Me and my girlfriend were looking for a quiet getaway and the island of Galiano was perfect. The apartment was spacious and private, Trish left us a lot of fresh local produce, and every other amenity we could ever need. The set up is excellent, private but with Trish available to provide that local knowledge. We didn't spend that much time around the accommodation as the weather was glorious and we were exploring the island, however we always made sure we were back on the amazing deck for sunset and stargazing. I couldn't speak highly enough of Trish and our time on Galiano - we will be going back for sure!

Trish was there to welcome us to her piece of paradise in a beautiful setting overlooking Trincomali Channel. We especially loved sitting on the beautiful veranda, wine glass in hand, watching the sun set over Vancouver Island. We will return! Joe & Lynne

Trish did a great job making our stay a beautiful one. The space is just amazing- open, roomy and of course the views are the best part. It's quiet and a great place to retreat and rejuvenate. Plus we got to see 4 whales go by--and because it was so quiet, we heard them coming. The kitchen is well equipped and Trish had really lovely foods awaiting us and was just overall very warm and generous.

Communication was great prior to arrival - we got good hints on where to shop and what to see on our way to Trish's house. She was a charming host and we (plus our dogs..) even went for a walk to her favourite beach in the evening. We plan to be back soon...!

The breakfast we ate, was incredible. Trish left bread, fresh blueberries, oatmeal and homemade granola, eggs, butter, milk, yogurt, homemade jam, peanut butter, and we brought the peaches and mango, for the most glorious breakfast! The view to eat this at was equally fitting. We loved the place, the bed was comfortable, and the homemade Galiano Island soap was a lovely touch. Trish was warm and friendly, and I would definitely recommend this stay. Watching whales roam by up the straight was the most peaceful Sunday morning we could ask for.

We were extremely pleased with Trish's lodging. It has everything you could possibly want for a relaxing weekend - cozy living room with a fireplace, big comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, lots of space - and an absolutely beautiful, serene setting. We had an amazing stay at this waterfront retreat. Trish was so welcoming and the place is absolutely amazing. Very open, spacious and with a gorgeous view of the water! You can sit on the deck in the warm sun or curled up with a blanket on the rainy days. There is a comfy lounge area and fire place for when the sun goes down. The kitchen was stocked with gourmet treats, much more than we could have expected. A very nice touch! We would definitely stay here again when returning to Galiano!

Laurel's Place was amazing and everything we could have asked for. Laurel and Cal were extremely welcoming and we felt at home as soon as we walked into the place. Its beautiful and its very private, they have done a beautiful job at making you feel like you are staying in a five star hotel. The suite had everything that we needed, Laurel has taken care of all the small details. The bed's were super comfortable and the furniture in the suite is so great, a lot of personal touches that made it feel unique. The gas stove was a bonus, we were very excited about this when we walked in! Ladysmith itself is a beautiful town half way between Nanaimo and Duncan so if you need to travel into these places Ladysmith is the perfect place to stay as you get the small town feel with everything outside of your door step. The grocery store and restaurants are very close by, within walking distance. There is a ton of walking/hiking trails just down the street from the suite, some of the best hiking we have done and can't wait to go back. Ladysmith is on the ocean and many beaches you can go to that are close to the suite. We can't wait to go back!!

I rated Laurel's Place "What I Expected" because I expected a top notch experience and that is exactly what we got. From the fresh strawberries and fruit to cleanliness to location to Laurel's going beyond Better, our stay was...well it was like coming home every evening. My sister and I came to Ladysmith to see our 90 year old mother. As a result we were gone from early in the morning till late evening the three nights we were there. When we got back and wanted to relax and chill, we could. When it was time for bed it was like being at home. We don't think anything could have been changed to make our stay any more enjoyable. This is the second time our family has been to Laurel's. My daughter, husband and three boys were here in January and were very pleased. That's why my sister and I came. Would we come back again? Absolutely.

Laurel and Cal are meant to do this - they have thought of everything! The suite is brand new, beautifully designed and decorated, lots of sun light and FULLY equipped with everything you could think of! They met us on our arrival and made some great suggestions for dinner (the MastHead is a must!) The location is right in the middle of Nanimo and the Cowichan Valley wineries .. we were able to explore both with approx 20 minute drive to each. We absolutely will be back to stay with Laurel and Cal, two days was just not enough time! And thank you Laurel for the birthday Prosecco, you are so kind :)

We really enjoyed our time at Laurel's. The suite was beyond our expectations and we appreciated Laurel's attention to detail in every way including everything we would want for a continental breakfast with a variety of fresh fruits and croissants. The suite is delight to stay in with comfortable beds and living room furniture, open floor plan with large windows overlooking a beautiful rear facing yard. Laurel was extremely accommodating with our check in time and replied to our text messages immediately which was very helpful. We hope to stay at Laurel's Place in the future.

We had a lovely couple of days at Laurel and Cal's. The suite was wonderfully finished and furnished. It was very roomy and comfortable for us and our daughter. Numerous windows made it very bright, and easy to watch the hummingbirds and deer. Laurel left us all the key ingredients for breakfast, which meant we missed out on the Ladysmith Bakery cinnamon buns, but relaxing at the suite more than made up for it. The pictures are very accurate, and Laurel and Cal were both very friendly and keen to make sure we settled in. We conversed a little by email to make sure we understood the setting and best time to arrive and Laurel was always quick to respond. Having stayed many places on the Island over the years we would heartily recommend Laurel and Cal's, and look forward to a repeat visit.

A perfect little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The moment you arrive the soft natural light carresses you and the stillness captures your soul. Nothing beats the homemade organic yogurt, granola, jam, jelly and scrumptious fresh baked pastries delivered to hour door each morning. The artistic attention to detail is apparent everywhere right down to the placement of the windows which all provide an asthetic view of the outdoor surroundings. The frogs in the pond serenade you to sleep each night as you crawl into a delightfully comfy bed with fresh white bed (URL HIDDEN) comfy it's difficult to leave in the morning! Although there are many places to explore on the Island one is tempted to stay snuggled up in this perfect nest and let the rest of the world fall away for just a few days. I would return in a heartbeat!

Everything was wonderful! The home is beautifully decorated with a minimalist, clean, cozy design. We also love all the natural light that shines through the skylights. We spent the evenings at home relaxing, and took advantage of the space. I will definitely come here again!

Paul and Anna were terrific. The cottage was adorable. The breakfast pastries were delicious. The grounds were beautiful. Their onsite gallery was inspiring. The town was quaint. The whole experience was a privilege. Thank you.

Debbie and Andrew's studio was fantastic. Not only was it clean, it was fully stocked. The garden was beautiful and the view breathtaking! We had such a fantastic time on the island. Debbie was so helpful with any inquiries or even for a chat. I wouldn't hesitate to come back to their wonderful little bit of haven on the island! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Debra was an awesome host! We got to the place early but it was still ready, clean and they even had a bottom of delicious homemade wine and cheese & crackers for us. The studio is on the small side but it still feels like a nice place to relax and the Murphy Bed & side-tables are really well designed, easy to pull down and very comfortable! Nice location, just a little drive from town (Ganges) with a great view. The unit was really nice, cozy and amazingly quiet!

We had a lovely stay at Debbie’s studio! The studio is very clean and bright and has everything you may need. The view from the suite is amazing! Gorgeous garden and water views. The main town is only a 5min drive away with lots of great shops and restaurants and of course the famous Saturday market. Debbie went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel welcomed. We were celebrating our third wedding anniversary and Debbie was so kind to not only make some suggestions on restaurants and things to do, but also made a hard to get reservation for us at a picturesque spot overlooking the water. It was such a nice relaxing weekend and felt very taken care of thanks to Debbie and Andrew :) Thanks again you two!

We had a lovely weekend here, the place wea very clean and it had an extremely well-equipped kitchen. Good views, a quiet neighbourhood and relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely want to come back.

Debbie was one of the most gracious hosts I've ever had using AirBnB! Her place is perfect and everything you need for a great weekend on Salt Spring Island. It's clean, bright and spacious and the neighbourhood is great for an early morning stroll and on the way back we picked up some fresh plums from the farm stand next door. Debbie went out of her way to make us feel at home and even lent us some eggs one morning so we could enjoy breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean. She let us know some fun things to do and see as well as great places to eat on the island. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat and look forward to coming back to Salt Spring Island again soon!

We had a fantastic stay at Debbie's studio! We were only on the island for a few days but the location allowed us to see everything we'd hoped for and more. After long days of hiking and water sports, the studio was a welcome retreat; spotless, stocked with everything you could think of (including a welcome bottle of wine/cheese), close to town (Ganges), great bed, and quiet. Debbie was incredibly helpful with recommendations around activities, dinner spots, and let us know about a great west facing beach for sunset. We would definitely return on our next visit to the island.

The Trincomali suite was perfect! Located just out of downtown, with an amazing view of the channel and surrounding islands! The suite had everything we needed and more! Can't wait to be back :)

We enjoyed a great weekend at Mossy Hill. Bruce's suite had everything we needed, had an open spacious concept, really comfy beds and was exceptionally clean & tidy. A beautiful setting with nice views, was very close to Ganges and easy to find with Bruce's detailed instructions. Our experience was consistent with everything we read in previous reviews. Thanks for making our visit to Salt Spring Island memorable and we recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! Luba was very welcoming and kind. The suite was a good size. Very clean and modern and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing and reading out on the patio - we felt very much at home. Highly recommend!

Awesome place. Definitely exceeds expectations. Just make sure to get your car/rent one on the island, since the house is about 30-40 mins to downtown and the buses run only every 2 hours.
