The Silver Fox Cabin is a two bedroom cabin that sleeps 4 or 5 people comfortably. Fully equipped kitchen with bed and bath linens. All you need is your personal things and groceries & you're set for a wonderful vacation in the Trinity Alps. The cabin features a private front deck with patio furniture and a picnic table. There is a Weber available. There is a small local grocery and community church. Fuel is available in nearby Trinity Center.
Trinity lake for fishing and boating is just 2 miles away. There are maps for hikers available at the grocery and Randy is knowledgeable about trails.
Coffee Creek is a small village with the one general store, There is a resturant here, open 11am to 9pm Closed Monday & Tuesday. This is just one of the reviews for the Trailhead Pizza: "This is the only gig in Coffee Creek and what a charming place to sit out or in, eat delicious pizza and have an excellent salad (organic and often homegrown). If you're lucky you might catch a little music on the outdoor stage. The servers are friendly, the atmosphere very family friendly. I haven't tried much other than the pizza because it's so darn good!"
  • Great location, clean relaxing well appointed place. Five stars!

  • Great hosts. Place spotlessly clean. Great place to unplug and unwind

  • Had a wonderful stay at the Silver Fox! The place was very inviting with a large shady deck, and nice homey touches inside. There wasn't wifi, but there were great maps to study and fun games in the drawers. The beds were comfy, good water pressure, large coffee maker, and plenty of utensils and dishes. We appreciated there was no extra charge for extra people. The dining offerings nearby were delicious for eating out. Big thanks to Randy and Hazel for their friendly hospitality and generosity, sharing their knowledge of this diverse area. Geology, botany, trails, weather....they have the information and the references to enhance the adventures!

  • We felt very welcomed! Our teenagers didn’t want to leave! It was exactly what we expected and needed. We especially appreciated Randy and Hazel’s advice on road trips! Their hospitality and friendliness was amazing and very appreciated! We would definitely return if we are back in the area! We fell in love with their dog Stella!! Thank you!!!

  • The Silver Fox is a very clean cabin with a huge deck not far from Coffee Creek. The place is quiet and the hosts are very helpful and knowledgeable with local tips on hiking and fishing. The cabin is well equipped. If you are desiring to "get away from it all," this could be just what you're looking for.

The cabin is on 3.5 acres with a view of the mountain range, an open orchard and creek that will inspire relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind, body and soul. The cabin has plenty of room to play, socialize and have some time alone. Fun board games, outdoor games and PS 4 games are available. Conveniently located near Trinity River, Trinity Lake, incredible hiking trails, a general store and Trail Head Pizza Restaurant (live outdoor music most Summer nights).
Situated in the foothills of the Trinity Alps, this cabin features a loft with one one queen bed and a bedroom with 2 twin beds. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and an adjoining full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary essentials. The sun room has a dining room table to seat up to 8 people and a four person dining table off of the kitchen and living room. The cabin has plenty of room for family gatherings, play areas for the kids and room enough to kick back and enjoy some time on your own. The property has a large orchard where you can have picnics, play horseshoes and bocce ball, cornhole and much more. Treasure Creek runs through the property and a nice seating area has been set up for you to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery.
The cabin is located in the Coffee Creek neighborhood, but is isolated by Treasure Creek and redwoods. You can see the neighbors across the stream only if you choose to. There are tons of hiking trails surrounding the property. There are two hiking books located on the table in the Sun Room for your use. Trinity Lake and River are very close by and provides great fishing and swimming holes. Trinity Center is a 10 minute drive where you can launch your boat. There is a general store close by and Trail Head Pizza is a two minute walk. Live music is played at the Trail Head Wednesdays - Sundays, where you can either sit in an open space at the restaurant or open the windows at the cabin and enjoy the music! We have a local swimming spot called "Man's Hole." It is 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Take Mann Road (runs parallel to Hwy 3) all the way until it turns into a dirt path (will veer off to the right). Follow the dirt path all the way down to the river. This is a hot spot so can be crowded. I have not ever experienced other groups there, but I know it can be popular.

Riverstone Cottage is located in the small town of Trinity Center in the Trinity National Recreation Area. There is Prime video, netflix and Hulu and a PlayStation 4 hooked up to the internet, only have 1 game so you can bring your own games.
Our neighbors are awesome and freindly, everybody keeps to themselves and are very respectfull as I hope you will be. So please no loud music or parties, you can have your fun but please respect our neighbors as they will do the same.
  • Jerry and Danette's cottage is in a quiet and peaceful location in Trinity Center. The cottage has all the essentials including a good sized kitchen that was well equiped, and a cozy living area with a wood burner. The place is perfectly situated for those looking to explore the nearby mountains and hiking trails (which was our reason to visit). Jerry and Danette were communicative and quick to respond to any questions we had; they also provided us with plenty of tips to enjoy the local area. Definitely recommend for those seeking a quiet get away in the mountains.

    Christopher2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jerry & Danette have a lovely cottage, we had an awesome time. The cottage is very comfortable and cosy, and made a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Jerry was always available over text for any information and tips during the stay. We will definitely come back to explore the area and stay at this beautiful cottage.

  • Great hosts! Beautiful cottage! Will definitely be coming back!

    Tara2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to stay and disconnect, the hosts were great with fluid communication and great attention to detail: for example, when we arrived the cottage as warm and the fireplace was already setup to start the fire. The place has everything you could need during your stay: tabletop games, books, coloring books for the kids, wood for the fireplace, full equipped kitchen, 3 extra heaters for every room, a nice garden with frutal trees, WIFI, etc. Totally recommended, I think summer and spring are even better due to the plethora of outdoor activities available in the area.

    Cristian2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a blast in Trinity at Jerry and Danette's. We visited in the middle of October, when the lake's a bit chilly but definitely still swimmable. The season also means that we had the lake and trails almost entirely to ourselves. Access to the lake couldn't be better, as it was a short walk from the cottage. And the cottage itself was awesome, with fast, reliable internet connection, which means you can watch as much HBO or Netflix as you like. The cottage and the town are very dog friendly, and our pup had the best time. We'll be back!

    Assaf2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house is in a forest and walks in the forest early in the morning to meet a group of cute deer. It is quiet and natural, and the room is clean and tidy. We really enjoy everything here!

    Spider2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute little cottage, perfect for a weekend getaway! Awesome hosts! We loved everything about our stay, will definitely be back!

  • Staying at Riverstone Cottage was everything I hoped for. I(and my pooch) wanted a place that was quiet, comfortable, easy walking distance to to Trinity lake. We got all that and more. What a beautiful area! There are a lot of activities ,trails etc if one is looking for a more active stay. Riverstone cottage is a great area to be super active or inactive, with great hosts. I truly give it 5 stars!!........ They even had wood so well seasoned, and all the supplies that even I could build and maintain a fire( I didn't really need one but it was pretty and fun)!!

Ripple Creek Cabins are located in a lovely valley at the base of the Trinity Alps. We are open all year round and offer the opportunity to experience four very different seasons. We have 7 different sized cabins on the Trinity River.
The Remington Cabin, is the last cabin on your left as you drive down our lane. It is a medium sized cabin sitting right along side Ripple Creek. It comfortably sleeps 4 people. It has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a connecting bathroom with a shower. In the living room area there are two twin sized beds (a day bed and a trundle). There is also a rocking chair and a loveseat. The kitchen is between the bedroom and the living room.
We are located on a quiet country road. Out property borders the Trinity River.
  • Great set of cabins along a secluded country road. Perfect set of amenities in charcoal grill, picnic table, and lounge chairs. Kitchen had everything we needed. The wood furnace was a great touch. Check-in was super easy.

    Radford2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was a really adorable and very clean little cabin in a bucolic valley, with a creek right outside the door. We didn't get to meet the owners, but you can tell everywhere on the property how much love and care they've put into everything. Be sure to stop by the little office for local hiking intel. I wish we could have stayed longer!

    Frances2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I just got back from Remington cabin and it was amazing! The scenery is gorgeous and serene and the cabin was perfect size for two, with everything you could need to cook simple meals and relax. We ate breakfast at the creek outside of the cabin, walked down to the river and I even took a quick cold plunge! Our dog was happy exploring and we were welcomed with dog treats and sheets to cover the furniture. We had as much privacy as we needed and everyone we came across was friendly. I highly recommend Remington Cabin for sweet getaways!

    Molly2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy place, private, no tv(which is great) many trails all over for an extended stay. Nice authentic cabins

    Daniel2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Ripple Creek Cabins so much we came back a year after our first stay! The Remington cabin was perfect for us two and our little dog. It has all the basics and more. There are cute touches of decor that make it feel like home. The sound of the creek out the front door is wonderful. This cabin is great because you have two sides of the cabin facing the creek, and a private feeling front stoop and front yard area, that leads to the creek. It’s really clean and easy to keep warm with the heaters or a fire in the wood stove.

    Dawn2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Meghan was very attentive since the beginning. The cabin was perfectly clean and tidy. Everything was placed so carefully that we felt like home and didn’t want to leave at all. As it’s winter time, we took an extra heater what helped us a lot. But the fireplace is cute and works very well (besides two other heaters inside the house)

    Artur2018-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Cabin was super clean and the location was perfect. Very private within the dense beautiful trees and creeks. The hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

Ripple Creek Cabins are located in a lovely valley at the base of the Trinity Alps. We are open all year round and offer the opportunity to experience four very different seasons. We have 7 different sized cabins on the Trinity River.
Cabin #3, the Honeymoon or Little River Cabin, is the last cabin on your right as you drive down our lane. This cute, little secluded cabin is great for one or two people. It has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a lovely kitchen with a table looking out onto the lawn above the river.
We are located on a quiet country road.
  • The cabin and location is great. Meghan had very good communication and local tips. Recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, clean place to explore the area or relax by the creek.

  • Booked a 1 night stay last minute for my boyfriends birthday. We both were so amazed by the location of the cabin (#3), we were right by the creek. The cabin had a full working kitchen and a fireplace to keep us warm! There are a number of great games and books. If you feel the need to even use your phone there is WiFi. We will definitely be back and hopefully stay longer. Thanks Meghan, your cabin was perfect!

    Viridiana2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cabins at Ripple Creek were incredible and our stay was the peaceful retreat we had hoped for. Meghan was very responsive and when we requested to stay a second night, she made it possible to move to another cabin for the entire weekend. Our porch overlooked the river and there was an easy path to follow down to chairs by the water. The cabin was cozy, warm and comfortable. There was an office full of books, hiking guides, board games and more available. The sites even had a horseshoe pit and other outdoor games. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway and time to unplug. We hope to be back!

    Kimberly2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I wanted an off-the-beaten-path place to stay and relax for our hiking trip, and this cabin was perfect! It had everything we needed, plus it was comfortable and cozy. We would definitely stay there again!

    Libby2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The Ripple Creek Cabins are a quaint little set of cabins tucked near Coffee Creek in the Trinities. We stayed as a couple with a dog and everyone was happy. There’s a nice lawn and some woods between the cabin and the river, which is a great sound to listen to as you relax. This particular cabin is small but not cramped - just right for a couple. I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the cabin as the photos gave me the impression things would be a bit more dated or rundown. Everything is in good shape, clean, and welcoming.

    Kate2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Even better than my partner and I expected for an overnight getaway! We came from Redding and the drive was easy and straightforward. We booked this property hoping for a quiet, peaceful, serene retreat and wow, exactly what we needed. So clean, little festive touches but so tastefully and simply done, and a well stocked kitchen. We were a 30 second walk from the river, had strong WiFi signal (necessary because we didn’t bring our teenagers), and were able to get a wonderful fire roaring in the bedroom’s wood stove. We are already planning our next weekend at these cabins. Thank you for giving us such a great getaway!!!

    Shahada2018-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Ripple Creek Cabins are such a special place, we had a wonderful few days in our cabin and our only regret is not booking our stay for longer. It’s the perfectly cozy place to disconnect, or as home base for all the amazing outdoor activities in the area. Meghan was a super host and we had everything we needed for a wonderful visit. Quite literally cannot wait to return!

  • Just want to say what an amazing first trip to the snow we had! Janet was such an amazing host, she helped us so much with directions we needed, she trully cared about our safety! The cabin was so big, clean and had more than we expected, it even had board games to play while you are there, we definitely used those! Thought our first trip to the snow was amazing, we would love to come cack during summer, Sunflower cabins look so like the place to be during summer:)

    Mary2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here turned out to be one of best ones. The untimely heavy snowfall made the stay even better - a very scenic one. The absence of mobile signals and wifi meant no distractions- just the perfect quiet time.

    Indranil2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place for a getaway weekend! Perfect location with great views right out of the windows and very cozy inside.

  • The house is located at a great location in the midst of nature. It was around an hours drive to Mt Shasta and was very convenient. There is no internet or cellular coverage which made it even better! Would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Beautiful place to stay if you wanting to go off grid! Absolutely no cell reception and SPECTACULAR VIEWS! DO RECOMMEND!

  • We spent four wonderful nights at the Pasture View cabin. The location and property are beautiful and serene. We appreciated the lovely gardens, maintained with care and artistry. The cabin was comfortable and quiet, with everything we needed. The river is fantastic and there are great Trinity Alps hiking opportunities nearby.

    Barbara2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Don't miss out on this gem in the Trinity Alps! Our cabin was nestled under a green canopy of majestic trees and was impeccably clean and well appointed. From the front porch, we could hear the babbling of a nearby creek and marveled at a small herd of deer as they grazed in a nearby pasture. It was just lovely!

    Terri2019-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Ripple Creek cabins are great! The cabin came with a well stocked kitchen and comfy beds on a beautiful property. The access to local topographic hiking maps and a ping pong table were a treat. I would definitely stay here again.

  • We loved our stay at the Ripple Creek Cabins. The location was perfect with the Trinity River running right next to it. The mountain views are beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful. The cabin we stayed in was spotless and very comfortable. The hosts paid close attention to every detail and even had fresh flowers on the table. We look forward to coming back soon!

  • The cabin is cute, comfortable slept 5 (2 single beds, one convertible sofa, one queen bed that slept 2 of us). The property is beautiful with an open meadow and several walking paths. The kitchen is well-kept with any plates, platters, utensils, pots, and pans you might need as well as a charcoal grill. There was a functional wood fire stove as well, but as warm as it was during our stay, we didn't try it out.

Coffee Creek Ranch is located in the Trinity Alps of Northern California. This Bed & Breakfast rate includes your private cabin, breakfast and use of the exercise room, outdoor pool and Jacuzzi hot tub. Lunch & Dinner may be purchased separately as well as horseback riding. The ranch offers other amenities like fly-fishing, gold panning, trap shooting and archery throughout our season.
Adjacent to the Trinity Alps Wilderness Area for hiking and riding. The ranch is located on along Coffee Creek with a private 1/2 mile reserved just for our guests for fishing and gold panning. We were once the town of Coffee, California, a thriving gold rush town with an assayer office, post office, the Pinkham School District and the original boarding house.
We live off the grid in a beautiful river canyon.
  • Coffee Creek Ranch is such a gem in an amazing location. Everyone is so helpful and ready to provide great advice about the local area. Our kids didn’t want to leave and we didn’t want to leave either. There is so much to do at the ranch and in the area. The meals were great. Check in and check out was super easy. Ruth is very helpful and attentive!

  • We were attending a wedding in the area, and chose to stay in a cabin at Coffee Creek Ranch for the night. It was much more personal and unique then we had expected! Such a beautiful, serene location. And Danielle was in incredible host! She even gave us a ride to and from the wedding. Very hospitable. If we are ever looking for a nice off the grid retreat we would definitely think about coming back!

  • This place is HUGE. 12 of us stayed here and we had more than enough room. There's a huge kitchen with a great dining/sunroom area and we loved making meals together. There are a ton of beds and places to sleep as well! The backyard has a deck and opens straight into the creek. Trinity Lake is right there as well. Only con was the wifi barely worked and there was no service, but that can be a pro when you're in the woods too :-).

  • The cabin is very cute and has all of the amenities we need. We stayed in Winter and the heater kept us warm. I like how it’s decorated to fit the location. The directions we were given were very helpful. We were also able to borrow a guide book, which was extremely helpful since we forgot to download/write down more detailed information about nearby trails. This is a wonderful place to stay to check out the hiking trails in all directions. We loved the sound of the stream and creek nearby, being able to grill, and even though we didn’t end up partaking, it was great to have a fire pit available. I’d love to stay longer next time.

  • The Sunflower Cabins far succeeded our expectations!!! My fiancé and I had the best trip this past weekend. Janet was easy to talk to and quick to respond to any questions. The cabin itself was perfect! Warm and cozy and the kitchen was big enough to cook a big meal (huge plus for me). The place was spotless and the grounds were perfectly maintained. Our cabin felt far away and private from the other two on the property. Which we loved! Huge huge plus was being able to bring our fur babies!! We all had a wonderful time. Thank you to Janet for hosting such a beautiful place that is pet friendly. The area is beyond beautiful and the perfect escape for nature lovers. We can’t wait to go back!

  • We had such an amazing time at the Big Bear Barn in Sunflower Cabins. The snow covered property was beautiful and serene. The Barn feels very private, and our dogs loved running around in the snow. The place was new and clean, and the hosts had provided all the necessities for a comfortable stay. We will definitely visit again.

  • We went up for a quick weekend trip and the Big Bear Barn was the perfect place to base out of and crash when we got back. The entire cabin space was inviting and comfortable. The well-equipped kitchen made packing to head up there super easy. Janet was very nice and stopped by to check if we needed anything (everything was so straight-forward and perfect, there wasn't anything we needed). Location is also great for hiking in the Trinity Alps or spending time near the lake. Very happy with our stay!

    Ian2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Place was clean and right off the main road without all the noise. Janet responded quickly and accommodated our late check in. Her nephew checked in on us to make sure we got in okay but otherwise left us to enjoy our time in peace. Nearby pond had turtles and birds every morning and you're right in the middle of a ton of outdoor activities. Within easy distance to a number of alpine lake hikes.

  • We loved the charming little “barn” in the private forest setting. It was very clean and comfortable..... perfect for a getaway. The sounds of water moving through a stream and two small ponds add to the tranquil ambiance. Lots of hiking opportunities nearby..... plenty to explore!

    Laurie2018-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful hand crafted small cabin in a secluded mountain location. No TV, no internet, and no cell phone service, which was exactly what we wanted. We had a radio to contact the host if we needed anything at all. There is a small creek that flows through a couple ponds right by the cabin. The host Rich was very accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed and I was surprised to see that he had the snow plowed from the driveway even better than the main road. We will definitely be coming back.

Lone Wolf Acres Chalet is part of our creek front property on Coffee Creek. It's a place of quietude where you can unplug and connect with the wild. Wander along the path to the creekside bench and enjoy the soulful rhythm of the water and the scent of pine, or bathe in the pure mountain waters. If you yearn for simplicity and natural beauty, this is it. At the Chalet, you can experience all that and still enjoy comfort.
The Chalet is one of three buildings on the Lone Wolf Acres property. It rents separately or as part of the Lone Wolf Acres package. If you're interested in renting the entire property for your group, be sure to tell me that when you inquire about booking. There is one private bedroom with a queen size bed and an upstairs loft with a queen size futon and two twin beds. There is a 32-inch flat screen tv and Bluray player with a few movies.
  • Beautiful, serene property right on the creek. Perfect cozy cabin for a weekend getaway. Fantastic views in the area, too!! 10/10 would recommend.

Ripple Creek Cabins are located in a lovely valley at the base of the Trinity Alps. We are open all year round and offer the opportunity to experience four very different seasons. We have 7 different sized cabins on the Trinity River.
Cabin #1, the Big Creek Cabin, is the third cabin on the left as you drive down our lane. It sits next to Ripple Creek. It comfortably sleeps 6 people. In the cabin there is a spacious kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. Adjoined to the kitchen is a room with a queen-sized bed, a comfortable lazy boy, and a love seat. There is also a bedroom with a full sized bed and a set of twin sized bunk beds.
    Quiet and secluded country road.

  • My family and I had a wonderful time in the cabins. The grounds are beautiful, with lots to do: swimming, hiking, bike riding, bbq, and general outdoors fun. The cabin is comfortable, and a sweet break from city life.

  • I loved it so much, it was so hard to leave. I really needed a break from the city and make some time for me and my family to unwind in the forest. Cozy and beautiful. My kids loved it.

  • We loved the fact that the cabins are neat and clean with everything in them that we needed. It is a great place to go with your family and unplug. The grounds are lovely and there are so many places close by to walk, hike, and bike. We will definitely be back.

  • We had a wonderful time at Riddle Creek cabins. Everything the past reviewers wrote is so true. The photos do not do the place justice. It is clean, cozy and perfect if you want trees, a simple cabin, wood burning fires, quiet, the sounds of a creek, and local hikes. Even the drive into the area is gorgeous, trees all around, you pass adorable cute towns, in the last leg of the drive it is lush and feels remote. There are two small stores for basics within 15-25 minutes, but the real gem is the town of Weaverville, about 45 mins from Riddle Creek Cabins. They have a great charming main street as well as bigger grocery stores with everything you'd ever need. Megan sent very detailed directions, which I printed out. With no cell signal even an hour out from the cabins, I recommend bringing a real map or downloading offline maps for free on google maps. It saved us when looking for trail heads and stores or landmarks. Megan suggested Swift Creek for a hike - it was fairy tale beautiful. You can make it as short or long as you want, we loved the pine needle forest floor, epic trees and views while following the creek for much of the way. (Also it's very close if you don't want to have a long drive to a trailhead) - There is PLENTY of firewood and kindling. So great. - Laundry is free in the room by the ping pong table where the office is. - There are little benches and seating areas by the creek in the midst of beautiful trees. The sound of the creek is so nice and peaceful. - The cabin feels private and secluded even though it's nearby the other structures, in the main two rooms when you look through any window your view is of trees. - The bed in the main room is really comfortable and big enough for super tall folks. - They have a lot of kitchen utensils and two really nice cast iron pans. - Our pup had the time of hjs life. Playing ball in the meadow, going on hikes, staring out the cabin window at squirrels - it was awesome. - All the trails are dog friendly. They have a log in the office where you can say where you are going, to make sure some one knows where you are. I almost don't want to write about how great it was there because then everyone will know about Riddle Creek!

  • Cabin One was a perfect layout for our family with separate sleeping areas for kids and grownups. The cabin is so sweet, clean as a pin and has everything you need to cook just like you do at home. It was cozy and warm and so relaxing. We played many of games that were in our cabin, collected leaves, fed apples to the horse and threw rocks in the river, all within 100 yards of our cabin. The setting is just incredible: Walking access to the river, the gorgeous fall colors and trails everywhere. The stars at night were like a jewel box. This is really such a special place in a magical part of the world I cannot wait to come back.

The ranch offers other amenities like fly-fishing, gold panning, trap shooting and archery throughout the season.
Adjacent to the Trinity Alps Wilderness Area for hiking and riding. The ranch is located along Coffee Creek with a private 1/2 mile reserved for our guests for fishing and gold panning. We were once the town of Coffee, California, a thriving gold town with an assayer's office, Post office, the Pinkham School District and the original boarding house for the stage stop.
We are located off the grid in the wilderness in a beautiful river canyon.
  • This was my first AirBNB rental, so I was a little nervous about what to expect, but it was an absolutely great experience! The staff was incredibly hospitable - my buddy and I were late for mealtime more than once, but they were happy to accommodate us. The meals hearty and delicious, includinf freshly-baked cherry pie with cherries picked from their tree that afternoon. Our cabin was charmingly rustic but very comfortable. The rest of the facilities were in good shape and the pool perfect for a late-afternoon swim. If you're addicted to your phone or tablet, this place may not be the best; but if you're looking to leave the grid and the world behind (hey, isn't that the point of vacations?!), I found this was a great place to unplug and unwind - especially with the sound of Coffee Creek rushing nearby and the late-afternoon breeze rustling through the trees. The location was a great launching point to hikes in the Trinity Alps. The staff was very knowledgable about the different hiking options and we decided on Bear Lake, which was stunning! My buddy and I also did a short horseback ride, his first, that we both gave two thumbs to the experience and our guide, Danielle. Trinity Lake is right there as well for those interested in water recreation. All in all, I really, really enjoyed my time at the ranch and the area and look forward to coming back again either later in the summer or when the leaves change colors in the fall.

On the banks of Coffee Creek, this mountain home and cabin offer outdoor recreation and the tranquility that only wilderness can provide. Meander to the creekside bench for mountain views or to hear the osprey’s cry. Day hikes and fishing abound. If you'd like the house only (no more than 6 people) at $375 a night. Be sure to contact me and let me know, so I can adjust the price. If you have over six people, you must rent the house and cabin. There is no longer a hot tub on this property.
The 3-acre parcel of Lone Wolf Acres is a lovely location with a meadow and pathways down to the creek. The two-bedroom, one bath home offers indoor as well as outdoor dining, a covered deck, and brick patio, suitable for barbecues and casual lunches. The house comes with a fully furnished cabin, including a queen-size bed, futon (also queen-size), shower and nibble nook. The price includes the cabin. There is another rental on this property called Coffee Creek Chalet at Lone Wolf Acres which rents separately. The Main House, Cabin, and Chalet rent as a package for $600 a night. Be sure to let the host or co-host know you're interested in the full-property package and they will send you a special offer. A stay at Lone Wolf Acres on Coffee Creek is an opportunity to unplug from the city or suburban life and enjoy nature. It is located an hour and a half from Mt. Shasta, two and a half hours from Lassen, two hours forty-five minutes from Humboldt, and five hours from San Francisco. It might seem like it takes forever to get there once you leave Interstate 5, but choosing to stay at Lone Wolf Acres is choosing remote tranquility. If you like that sort of experience, you will love this setting.
On this side of the creek, we have only one neighbor and lots of seclusion. Directly, across the creek are a few homes. Coffee Creek is a very remote mountain community. In fact, guests are advised to bring their provisions or shop in Weaverville (45 minutes away) or Redding before landing in Coffee Creek. There are two markets, one in Trinity Center (10-15 minutes away) and one in Coffee Creek proper (five minutes away), but they are limited in their offerings--good for incidentals.
  • We truly enjoyed this place! Very peaceful setting right on the creek. Because we were hosting a special dinner for our mom, we brought a lot of kitchen/table setting items just to be sure we could do what we needed to do. If you’re planning something like this… don’t worry that kitchen has everything :-) really nice touches, great communication from the hosts. This is a very comfortable house and so is the little cabin if you choose to rent that. We would definitely recommend you stay here.

    Elaine2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • If you want a private, peaceful getaway, this is it. No cell service in the area, but Internet is available at the house. Clean, beautiful place with all the amenities, including complimentary bottle of local wine!

    Liz2019-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful spot, right by the rushing creek - perfect way to recharge in the unspoilt wilderness.

    Caedman2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Location was great, right on the river close to a swimming hole. :) Large living room and outside space, room to move around but cozy at the same time. We will be visiting this space again!

    Leslie2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a treasure! The main house has a spacious living room with cathedral ceiling. The beds are comfy and rooms well appointed. The deck and lawn has plenty of seating for outdoor living. The fire pit was a nice touch. There's a meandering path down to the creek's edge with a bench for quiet reflection. We loved our stay here! The extra bonus was how easy it was to communicate with Jaine and local host, Lora. They are awesome!

    Dawn2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • My husband, 2.5 yo twins, friends and their infant had a wonderful stay at Jaine's home. It was as described although the pictures do not capture the serenity and beauty of the home and surroundings. The home, although not technically childproofed felt well-suited to our needs both in comfort and safety. The creek is right on the property, which made for easy outings. Our toddlers played in and around the water, and my husband and friend went fly fishing multiple times throughout the day. Other times of the day, we played around in the yard and picked blackberries. We spent the evening grilling on the deck and sitting by the fire pit while watching the stars and listening to the water flowing. It was also nice to just kick back on one of the many comfy couches and read, watch a movie, or play a board game. And the home was very clean and well-maintained. Jaine was a great host. Prior to our arrival, she was very patient in addressing all our concerns and answering our questions. She also made sure that our check-in went smoothly although she could not be there. Finally, she gave us a long list of recommendations suitable for our group and encouraged us to reach out for anything. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying here, especially if you have small children or just want a quiet place to relax and unwind.

    Deysia2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jaine's home on Coffee Creek was a perfect base to explore the area with our family. The house is rich with charm and our little kids (2+4) were as happy as could be. If you head there in the summer, be sure to hunt around for swimming holes on the creek - Marco can point you in the right direction. Coffee Creek also seemed to be teeming with rainbow trout that had been recently stocked. The outdoor dining area, bbq's and fire pit were all perfect for enjoying the warm summer evenings. Marco and Jaine were both great hosts - thanks for a great stay!

    Jonathan2017-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great house in the most beautiful setting along the Coffee Creek. Jaine and Marco were perfect hosts for our small family reunion. House is well appointed, and quite large for a small group. We especially enjoyed the fire pit out back. I would definitely recommend Lone Wolf for those who want to get away from it all. We will definitely return.

Less than a 10 minute drive to Trinity Lake and Trinity Center, this large open home is a great spot for enjoying family time, or to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature all around. This home is located at the gateway to the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
Cell phones barely work here but there is a landline for local phone calls. There is wifi but don't expect fast speeds. The full bed is located in it's own room right off the master bedroom, separated by a privacy curtain (there is another entrance to this room from back deck). Up to two well-behaved dogs (must be current on their flea prevention medication) are welcome for an additional nightly fee of $30, but we request that they only enter the house with clean paws. Inclement weather in the winter can cause unexpected power outages or excessive snow on roads leading to the home (we will be understanding should that occur during your planned stay and fully refund any unused nights). Shared private driveway is unpaved. We will consider well behaved pets that are on current flea and tick prevention (must submit proof prior to reservation). Non-refundable pet fee is additional $30 per day, and reservation must be made for this property on VRBO website.

The cabin itself was very charming with a huge pot belly wood burning stove and knotty pine. The cabin was also stocked with books and magazines. We are definitely returning!!!!

Amazing home located at the base of the Trinity Alps in Northern California. You'll be greeted by the crystal blue waters of Lake Trinity, towering evergreens, and some of the best wild life and craggy peaks in the state. In Trinity Center you can enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, off road vehicles, wild life, and of course relaxing on the over-sized, "miilion dollar view" back deck. BBQ, check out the aircraft landing and taking off from the deck. Enjoy Nature without WIFI and cable TV.
Boasting a One of a Kind deck that sits on top of a Hanger, the views from the over-sized perch are one of the best "Million Dollar Views " in the Trinity Alps/ Lake and North State. With a select few homes in the country enjoying airport access, the Cabin is surrounded by beautiful mountains and the stunning semi-secret Trinity Lake with rivers and beauty around every turn. This is one of the great base camps for any adventure in the Western States.
Trinity Center was founded on the gold rush and changed once the lake was built. When the Dam was being built is was the largest earth filled dam in the world. Now its a great recreation area on a road to no where, you dont drive through to get anywhere. Thats why its still a great secret. Trinity Center has about 200 residents and sits at the edge of the alps ready to be explored!
  • This is located at the heart of Trinity Center and has the best back porch views! My family enjoyed watching the planes take off and just gazing out over the lake and Mountain View’s! We were a little apprehensive about cooking a thanksgiving meal on an unfamiliar kitchen, but Michelle’s kitchen has everything. Michelle answered all messages promptly and was very helpful. A great experience.

Ripple Creek Cabins are located in a lovely valley at the base of the Trinity Alps. We are open all year round and offer the opportunity to experience four very different seasons. We have 7 different sized cabins on the Trinity River.
Cabin #4, the Meadow View Cabin, is the second cabin on your right. It is secluded and quiet. It is a medium sized cabin and sleeps 4 people. It has a queen-sized bed in a large bedroom, a tub shower in the bathroom, and a living room/kitchen with a fold out queen sized couch.
We are located on a quiet country road.
  • A great escape from our busy lives. We stayed 7 days around Christmas there and loved it. The cabins are even better than in pictures. It was lovely to spend time reading and cooking by the stove. We also enjoyed a little trip to Mount Shasta and nearby mount Scott to access even more snow. Meghan and her partner were very welcoming and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us. The whole family also helped when our car battery was down. It was rejuvenating and we highly recommend to spend some time to disconnect there.

  • We LOVED this little cabin. Was great for a quick 2 night getaway, and would be better for even longer! We took a little hike on a nearby portion of the PCT trail, then came back and stayed super toasty with the easy to use wood fired stove. Highly recommend, hope to come back ❤️

  • Amazing getaway for a few days! Incredible views, great location (river on backside of property). We caught fresh fish and cooked it in the cabin! Clean, cozy and perfect for a mountain retreat. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay next time.

  • Lovely location and very comfy cabin. Perfect for my wife and I and toddler. Beautiful scenery around. The coffee is in the office! Also, the WiFi is a bit spotty so be a bit patient. Great place tho and already thinking about staying next summer or fall when we have more time!

  • No words can describe that beautiful place. You just have to be there to absorb it.

  • Great location! The cabin had a lot more supplies than I could imagine, pots and pans a coffee maker with filters and even fans. We had a great time!

  • The cabin was very comfortable and we had so much fun playing board games and enjoying the beautiful property. The flowers smelled so good and it was so nice to get away from it all and enjoy the country. I loved listening to the creek in front of me while I read my book. I wish I had more time there.

  • Amazing location and great hospitality. It’s a quick walk to the river, which is beautiful. Treats were also left for our dog, which was a plus :)

  • Fantastic place. Quiet, restful and fun. The cabin and grounds were immaculate, the wood stove kept us warm, and the table tennis was epic :) We will definitely be back.

  • We loved that it was so remote but Meghan was available nearby... Solitude was perfect....such a beautiful area and sleeping with the creek rushing by.....delicious!!!

  • It was a beautiful place. Description is very accurate. Host gave me instructions to find the place. It is better to make a note of it before you set out. Wish I could have stayed longer. It was so serene and picturesque. We were very lucky to have got it in the last minute.
