We LOVED Carol’s place! We were there (2 weeks) for a horse show and it was only 13 minutes from TIEC. Very convenient! Felt like home the minute we walked it. Kitchen stalked. Beds comfy. No lag with internet. Enjoyed watching her horses from the balcony while sipping on coffee in the morning or grilling dinner in the evening. The apartment had everything we needed. Plenty of room for 4 people + dogs. Nice little fenced in area for them as well. Carol is an amazing person! Terrific host! We can’t say enough about her. We will absolutely be back. Wouldn’t even think of staying anywhere else. Thank you Carol! Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!

Cute place! This basement apartment had a nice kitchen and living room area. Lots of room! I was in town for work (working nights at TIEC and sleeping during the day). It was mostly quiet for that, but just a little pitter patter of paws a few times. Bring a noise machine if that would be an issue for you! Also a sleep mask came in handy for day sleeping. Would book again :)

We had a great stay here! The amenities were wonderful! Our kids loved the pool and the beach at the lake. Lots to do in this area! Jamie was super sweet and very responsive and helpful! She also makes great recommendations! We would definitely stay again!

Absolutely one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The location is spectacularly quiet, peaceful, and incredibly private—with sweeping sunrise views across the valley that made every morning feel magical. The private deck was perfect for coffee at dawn, and I especially loved the designated bear-watch area (complete with their very own “bear pool”—such a fun and unique touch!). The home itself is beautifully and comfortably decorated, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, making it easy to cook and feel right at home. On top of it all, Deanna was super responsive and made everything seamless from start to finish. Can’t recommend this place enough—an unforgettable retreat!

This is my third time staying on the property and second time at the house rental. As always, it was perfect for a horse show weekend at Tryon and we always feel right at home!

Nicely furnished and good location for my visit. Her guidebook had good information about restaurants in the area. Neighborhood was very quiet.

We loved our stay at this delightful cottage apartment! Erin & Mary are super hosts! We had everything we needed and they even supplied a couple of things we specifically asked for which was very accommodating and less we had to bring. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived, and the attention to detail, from the cozy furnishings to cleanliness did not go unnoticed. We will definitely be back!

We’ve been to Rumbling Bald multiple times and this has been my favorite residence of all! It’s easily accessible, has tons of space, and is well equipped. But the host and her proactiveness and accessibility are what make outstanding. We absolutely loved our time there and hope to make it back again sometime!

Everything was perfect and as advertised. Was close to our location and easy to get in and out of. 10/10 would use again if in the area.

We loved our stay! Had a girl's trip with 4 of us and it was the perfect blend of seclusion while also being close to many things. Peaceful and quiet, beautiful porch and views, clean, safe, well-stocked, and plenty of parking (we easily fit 3 cars). We cooked dinner every night at the house and it had everything you'd need. I brought my own chef's knife (I'm picky) so I can't speak to that, but found everything else we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Peter was a great host and very responsive with any questions or request. Home was exactly as described, were looking for a peaceful quiet and secluded weekend getaway. Porch is very peaceful, kitchen is well equiped and everything works. Master bedroom is very peaceful and comfortable. Had fun playing pool too! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This was our second time staying and we loved it just as much as the first time! We even got to see two deer right outside the deck in the morning. Definitely a great place to stay to support WNC.

Matt's place has incredible views of Lake Lure, providing a vista that exceeded our expectations. Check-in was easy and fast. The property was spotless upon arrival. The privacy of the property was ideal, no neighbors in sight as the property sits atop a hill on a larger lot. I will miss waking up to sunrises over Lake Lure and the surrounding mountains! Julius’s home is the perfect mountain getaway. The property, inside and out, is full of lush plants. It is perfect for a relaxing weekend away spent with loved ones. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen is perfect for preparing a meal. Julius was more than accommodating and very helpful during our stay. ✨

This home was absolutely beautiful! From the cozy decor to the comfortable beds, clean linens/towels, and home—plus the babbling creek right outside! I could not recommend this space more. The location is great if you're looking to be out and away but within a reasonable drive into town/cities (Black Mountain is about 15-20 minutes, Asheville is about 40-45 minutes). Jason and his family were proactive in communication, extremely helpful, and left very clear instructions for their home. As a dog owner, the provided dog towels, blanket cover, and bowls were such a helpful touch that made the stay that much better. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! Major highlights: Very clean, comfortable, cozy, and peaceful.

The house was great and had the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The property was beautiful with plenty to explore with the kids. And it’s close to Asheville and the surrounding communities if you want to go out to dinner and explore.

It was a great peaceful Escape for the weekend. The hosts were very communicative and the place was very clean.

I can only rate Andrea on her communication. Unfortunately we were scheduled to come the same time Hurricane Helene made her presence. Andrea kept us up to date on weather conditions throughout storm. Unfortunately we were unable to get there to see the home ourselves, but I would definitely book again with Andrea just based on her communication. I hope that they did not endure too much damage, but unfortunate Lake Lure has a lot to recover from.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at April and Derek’s lake condo in Lake Lure! The condo was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The views of the lake were stunning, and we loved enjoying our morning coffee out on the balcony. April and Derek were excellent hosts—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. They provided great recommendations for local activities and dining, which made our trip even better. The location is perfect—peaceful and scenic, yet close to all the fun Lake Lure has to offer. We can’t wait to come back and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene lake escape!
