Loved our Father’s Day weekend getaway, I was happily surprised that although we were right on the water we weren’t carried away by mosquitoes, which if it were the case there was a screened in porch to remedy that anyways! The space was mostly very clean, but as with most shower curtains, it’s hard to keep spotless. The kitchen is dated (but everything’s works!), unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t fully functional so we opted to use the resorts indoor hot tub. Very peaceful having your cup of coffee down on the lakes deck in the morning.

My husband and I needed some much-needed R&R and that is just what we got at this beautiful home. Loved the decor, the super comfortable couch and bed! We never made it to the Jacuzzi tub; however, the open shower was cool! Would defiantly recommend this romantic spot.

Loved staying in this well appointed condo with lovely finishes and amenities. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great time spending a few nights here over Spring Break with our kids! Brandi was incredibly helpful and responsive with anything we needed. She even kept us in the loop with local information on burn bans with the conditions being so favorable for fires to catch. The place was very clean and we all had a blast! One thing I'll note for other families with small children. The spiral staircase is the only method inside of getting from the main floor to the basement. Our youngest needed a lot of supervision, even with the door closed, to make sure he didn't slip down or fall from the top ledge. It's definitely not a deal breaker, just something I wish I would've paid a little more attention to when reviewing photos of the listing.

Thank you for an amazing stay, it’s so heartbreaking to see all the damage from the hurricane however Rumbling Bald was up and running with lots to do. We saw a few bears on our way up the hill. The area is still so magical and we’re looking forward to coming back next year.

Our family is huge so it’s really hard to find a house large enough to host all of us. Daniel’s house was GORGEOUS and so spacious, the photos did not do this place justice. The upstairs was beautiful with large windows that let natural light in. We did encounter a mama bear and her baby, but Daniel warned us every day during our stay to keep trash in and be aware of the bears. We were secured inside the house and got to watch through the windows. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The golf cart was a game changer. We didn’t have to move our vehicles a lot. The amenities were perfect for us and the kids. Two pools, mini golf, and pickleball was all we needed to stay busy the entire weekend. Lake Lure was closed, but that was told to us weeks before the trip. We will definitely come back when Lake Lure opens. 10/10 vacation!!!!!!

The place was beautiful with great views. Plenty to do within the resort as well as multiple golf and food options nearby. Jackie was extremely responsive and proactive in giving tips/instructions to make our stay great. House was spacious, clean, and had many amenities to keep us entertain and relaxed.

We just loved staying at the Serenity cabin. It had everything we could need and more and was in a peaceful beautiful setting which was so welcome after long horse show days. The house was clean and cozy with nice linens and comfortable beds and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved sitting by the fire pit in the evening. We will stay again for sure if it’s available the next time we are there for Tryon! Also the town is rebuilding from the floods but restaurants are re opening and it was nice to be able to support the local businesses. The people who live in the area are so lovely. Such a warm and friendly town! Thanks for a great stay.

We had a great time. The views are beautiful and the house is spacious with a great layout for a large group. The house has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished with a fun lake theme. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The kids had a wonderful time at the private lake! They paddled around the lake in their floats and played on the sandy shady beach. It was a bit warm to try out the hot tub and the fire table on the porch but we hope to come back in the spring or fall to take advantage of all the amenities this house has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay here! The house is incredible: we loved using the movie room and playing games at the large dining room table. The rooms were wonderfully furnished, clean, and fun! Definitely want to come back and enjoy this house again!

I have a family of 6 and we travel often and finding a great Airbnb is a hobby for us. This home is by far my favorite that I have ever stayed in. Carly was wonderful, responsive, super kind and super helpful. The house is incredibly done. I noticed so many fun attentions to detail and it was a joyful and peaceful house to be in. I also highly recommend visiting the Lake Lure area of NC. They are still coming back from the hurricane, but they deserved to be visited as it is a gorgeous part of North Carolina. Look nowhere else and stay here!

The listing description was very clear as to the location and surroundings. The house was very clean and comfortable. The only thing we found that was a small issue for us, was the height clearance for steps because we are a tall family but this is to be expected with an A frame house. The pups had a little trouble in the beginning of our stay with the stairs because they are wooden but they learned to traverse them quickly. The dog sheets for the beds were greatly appreciated! The pups enjoyed the fenced in yard and the creek.

When I left some belongings behind, Grey even kept them aside until I could get someone to pick them up. He went above and beyond and is always a great host! We always try to book his place when we are at the horse show.

Host was very responsive ! Private cottage! Although there is still hurricane recovery we enjoyed our stay! Support small business in the area!

Serenity Summit is a mountain gem! The 4 bedrooms are spaced out across the house and there are three living spaces to relax in. Open kitchen with everything we needed. Hosts were so kind and responsive to our questions and needs. There was plenty of parking space for our family coming together for our daughter’s wedding. The home is located in a gorgeous gated community with incredible views of the mountains. But…..If your husband’s dress shirt, as Father of the Bride, wasn’t packed and you realize the night before at 9:40pm…..FYI the closest Walmart is 37 minutes away and thankfully doesn’t close until 11:00. We definitely plan to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the incredible outdoor living areas at the house and the lake in the neighborhood. Thank you for your hospitality Victoria!

Really enjoyed our stay at Reece's place. she was quick to respond with about questions we had. We were in town for a horse show and this was a perfect location. Gas station and feed store just around the corner. House was very clean and had a great back yard for sitting and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location with amazing views. Adam was very helpful and quick to reply to any questions I had. Highly recommend and cannot wait to return!

The pictures did not do this place justice, as it was more beutiful than the pictures represented. It was clean, vary large with many amenities and lots of water toys "several kayaks , a canoe, beach toys, life vest, and even a couple blow up tubes. There was a nice grill and firepit and Amanda even left the kiddoes smores fixing, which they enjoyed very much. We were there for Easrer weekend, and there did not seem to be anyone in any of the other cabins along the lake, so it was very private, which we appreciated. Give this place a try, and you won't be disappointed.

We were looking for a place to stay for our wedding weekend and this was near our venue. It was the perfect place to get ready in, and was very relaxing for us!

We loved this house! It was comfortable and well stocked. Very pet friendly. Great location with easy access to Old Fort & Black Mountain. Hosts had great communication and were very welcoming. The only drawback is the beds are very firm so there were couch naps throughout the weekend. Overall a great stay!

We stayed over Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. The house is great and located on a working farm. Very quiet location. Loved seeing the cows waiting to be fed and banging on the gate to be let in. We would love to stay again when we are back! Michael is a great host!!

We traveled from Wisconsin for a music festival that was going on the 4th of July weekend. After a long drive, Gigi's place was just what we needed. It's very relaxing and peaceful and we enjoyed every minute of it. If you're looking for privacy and being surrounded by the mountains, this is the place for you. There's plenty to do within a 15-20min drive. The house itself has everything you could possibly need. We definitely recommend Gigi's if you're planning to go to Black Mountain!

Our family of four (including two older teens and two dogs) loved Diane’s place. The location could not have been better. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from all of the many decks and outdoor living spaces, and were in an ideal cove for swimming and paddle boarding. The house has everything we needed and much more. We never needed to leave except for groceries. Our kids preferred it to our usual beach vacation. The kitchen and appliances were spotless. Throw blankets, pet protectors, pool towels, life jackets and every kitchen item you could imagine, the home provided it all. Diane was extremely gracious and proactive in communication. If we plan a future lake vacation, we will certainly look for this lovely Lake Lure home again, and anything Diane is hosting.
