Oak Tree Hut

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Recent rustic built wooden hut on our hillside property. One comfortable single bed . Breakfast corner , eat at the window overlooking the fields and SH10 or outside on the little deck. Toilet and shower is at the main house which has its own seperate entrance and will be shared with other guests if they are occupying the Cabin . There is a cooking area , 2 gas points and a BBQ , pans etc.. also double sink to wash up. Large parking area .

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Your own private space two minutes from the village or a 15 minute easy stroll. Russell village has many lovely places to dine and a range of activities/adventures to choose from. Ten minutes walk from the beautiful white sands of Long Bay beach. Catch the passenger ferry to Paihia or the Waitangi Treaty grounds and museum. Small dogs are welcome to stay and play in the fenced area beyond the deck. Please let me know in advance of your stay.

Kick back and relax in this calm oasis. This small apartment is attached to the main house and offers superior decor with a tropical vibe and breathtaking views of the Bay. Own private entrance with a large covered deck. Separate lounge with kitchenette, no cooking facilities, just a microwave. 2 min walk to Te Haumi beach or a 15 min stroll to Paihia beach, offering fabulous swimming, cafes, restaurants and shops. External steps make this property unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

The Shearers (named so as it used to house the shearing gang) is a cute little farm cabin next to a beautiful secluded beach. It sleeps 4, with a king bed and a set of bunks, a seperate kitchen and bathroom with a lovely little deck perfect for enjoying an evening drink. The beach is just over the dunes, and a dawn walk to see the amazing sunrise light on the hundred year old pohutukawa trees is not to be missed. Get away from all the hustle and bustle, no wifi, and no cell service!
