Our spacious open plan home has wonderful indoor/outdoor flow. We are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues because of the steps. We welcome you to our special part of NZ.

Your Air Conditioned accoms are a small Off Grid Tiny Home. It is situated in Taumārere just 3 kms out of Kawakawa on SH11 on the way to Paihia on our working Regenerative Farm. Specifically built for couples to enjoy the privacy and beautiful farm views over green paddocks to the Cycleway and Vintage Railway which border our property. The tiny house is intimate, open plan, with a small kitchen incl a double gas stovetop and a decent wee fridge/freezer. Internet is provided through Starlink!

Doves Bay was a wonderful place to unwind. Such a treat to wake up to the beautiful view. We loved having breakfast on the deck in the morning sun, watching the tuis and fantails flit through the garden. Even heard kiwis calling at night, and the stars on a clear night are incredible. There’s a lovely walk down to the beach. Ivan and Vivienne were lovely, thoughtful hosts and the place was well-equipped, superbly clean and very comfortable.

The place looks right out on the beach and is an absolutely stunning view. Very easy to walk to the beach. The bed was comfy and the place was clean. Jane was very good at giving instructions to find the place and the key. She was friendly and if I had any issues I knew I would be able to ask her for help. 10/10 stay!

It is a fabulous place to stay for families and the additional equipment that they have for the families to use is amazing. The setting is glorious and outlook is stunning. The Bay its self is very safe for children to undertake water activities. The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond with additional options for linen because of the rainy weather conditions.
