Es gibt keinen direkten Seeblick (Bäume davor), doch der wundervolle Viewpoint 'Zur Schönen Aussicht' ist in zwei Minuten erreichbar (100m), wo man nachts die Sterne ungestört beobachten kann.

Durch die Lage im Dreiländereck sind sowohl die Niederlande als auch Belgien schnell zu erreichen. Die Stadt Aachen mit ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten ist ca. 30 min (Auto) entfernt. Alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 5 min (Auto) problemlos zu erreichen.

Our newly renovated apartment will welcome you. In a nice area surrounded by open fields and close to the historical center of the village our apartment is the perfect place to start or end the day. If you are interested in hiking, there is the new hiking route "Eifelsteig" only 500m from the apartment. The bus station to reach Aachen´s city center is just a 2 min walk away. Of course families with kids and/or pets are welcome too. Free parking for 1 car and WiFi is included.

To be highlighted are a fully equipped kitchen, TV, sofa bed, large panoramic windows, a cosy box spring bed, the private terrace with outdoor seating and ample customer parking spaces. Wandern auf dem Eifelsteig oder am Rursee, Vogelsang, Rurseeschifffahrt, E-Bike ausleihen, Museen und historische Städte wie Monschau besichtigen. Nach einem kurzen Spaziergang um ein paar Brötchen beim Kiosk am See zu holen, folgt für uns immer bei einem frischen Kaffee die Überlegungen zur nächsten Tour. Abends bieten gute Restaurants in Spaziernähe einen tollen Abschluss.

Unser im Erdgeschoss gelegenes Burgzimmer ist ideal für Gäste, die keine Treppen steigen wollen. Drei große Fenster bieten wunderschöne Aussichten auf die idyllische Altstadt von Monschau.
