You will spend your vacation in our apartment renovated in 2021 on the 7th floor (elevator available) of a former hotel. Through the panoramic window you have a magnificent view of the mountains and the climatic health resort of Bad Grund. The apartment has a built-in kitchen, a dining area, a modern bathroom with large shower, as well as a cozy solid wood double bed with cotton bed linens. On the balcony you sit between herbs (to harvest yourself) & flowers on teak furniture.

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning oven, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The construction trailer has its own fenced garden, barbecue, seating in the garden, fireplace in the construction trailer, etc. It is romantic, extraordinary and ideal for nature lovers to stay there and be awakened by birdsong in the morning. We offer a cozy, renovated apartment in Göttingen (Weende). It is 4.9 km or 15 minutes by city bus, car or bike from the city. The clinic is 9 minutes by bike or 30 minutes on foot. It invites you to hike due to its direct proximity to nature. It is the second-to-last row of houses to the field/forest. A hiking trail passes by. The basement apartment is located in a 2-family house and has its own entrance. 1 child up to 12 years is free!

In the immediate vicinity there is a supermarket, with butcher and bakery, a cafe, another bakery and a pharmacy. Breitenworbis is located on the A 38 with direct exit. There are a variety of recreational opportunities in the area. A bear park, leisure baths, borderland museum, and more.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

The cozy and modern apartment is on the first floor and has its own garden access.
