A super place. Louise was a fantastic host, always available and made us feel right at home. So many lovely touches (asking what milk we would like on arrival, leaving local coffee to use, writing a very nice welcome note, leaving a bar of Easter chocolate) A very memorable trip, home and host. We had a wonderful stay at Okioki. The house is nestled in a beautiful natural setting, surrounded by peaceful landscapes that invite relaxation and disconnecting from everyday life. The tranquility of the area made it the perfect place to unwind. We especially enjoyed lighting the fire every evening — it not only warmed the house but also created a cozy atmosphere where we could share meaningful family moments. It truly felt like a retreat, and we left with great memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy nature in comfort.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sarah and Dave’s Airbnb, honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice. It truly exceeded our expectations. The timber accents throughout the flat add such a warm and inviting feel, and the fireplace makes it incredibly cozy. The kitchen is spacious and beautifully designed as well. One of the highlights was the view out into the woods, it gave the place a serene, almost jungle-like feel, with beautiful natural sounds like birdsong in the mornings. Sarah and Dave were also incredibly kind and helpful, when we couldn’t figure out the coffee machine and sound system, Dave came down to help us out. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here; it’s the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at.

I've stayed in many air bnbs over the years but this one has to be my favourite of them all. John And Sue left so many personal touches. They were incredibly kind and accommodating and were absolutely lovely with our children as well. They showed us all around the farm and let the kids feed the animals which they loved. The space as well was incredible. So comfortable and relaxing with amazing views all around, and just a short drive to Raglan. Our only regret was not booking for longer.
